A year had passed since Babs Seed had been with the whole Apple family in Sweet Apple Acres that day in the summer. And also a year after the annual Summer Sun Celebration. Babs Seed returned one day in the summer again. Babs and Apple Bloom they slept together one summer night after another family gathering. Granny Smith had told the family how she held the family gatherings for over 50 years ago. There was the usual games and dances too. As the two fillies slept that night had they been awake by unusual noises outside.

"There's somepony outside." Apple Bloom shouted to Babs Seed.

"I hear it too, and there are many." Babs Seed told Apple Bloom.

All the guests had left, but there was singing and talking out in the quiet and dark orchards. It was sounding like a group of unseen ponies had a conference in unknown languages. Some ran around by the fillies window, but nopony could be seen. The whole family got awoke by the strange noises. An invisble choral had been singing in the barn.

"What the hay, I have not heard things like that before." Granny Smith told the other ponies.

"That's strange, and all the guests had left." Applejack told Granny Smith.

The family could not sleep after these events, and none would go outside to see if there were any ghosts. That fresh and early morning were the Apple family searching all over the acres together to find out what happened that last night.

"I know that Pinkie Pie can help us because she knows about paranormal things in the town, and knows old stories from the families around here." Applejack told her family.

So Applejack went to Sugarcube Corner, and told Pinkie Pie what they had seen.

"Let me go with you, as my family also lived by your orchards where they had seen the same things." the pink pony told the farmer mare.

So then had Pinkie Pie followed the farmer mare to Sweet Apple Acres. Pinkie Pie had used her sense to find out what the place were hiding.

"We heard singing and talking outside last night, and we could not see who it could had been." Granny Smith told Pinkie Pie.

"Now I remember one of my neighbours told me there once stood an abandoned orphanage by Sweet Apple Acres decades ago, and it got demolished." Pinkie Pie said to Granny Smith.

Then were Pinkie Pie telling how there once stood an orphanage in the start of the 1800s. Pinkie Pie had found an old book once about that place. Before it closed in the early 1900's had the orphanage and the neighbours seen ghostly fillies in 1800's clothes come, and suddenly vanish. Ponies that worked in the orchards in the evenings ran away, as they saw ghostly pony families talking together in a strange language. Zecora had then helped the Apple family that night to get rid of these entities from the dark orchards that had been searching for the long gone orphanage.
