Lonely Luna
Chapter 4
Previous ChapterLuna peeped cautiously around the huge cloud she was hiding behind. The Wonderbolts were preparing to practice in the distance. Today was the day she planned on getting Soarin back. She thought carefully about the spell she had read, and started channeling her vast quantities of magic. Little flecks of light began sparking off of the tip of her horn. Luna targeted Soarin, and then let the spell go. She watched with glee as she saw him double over mid-flight, and start falling towards the ground.
"Soarin!" Spitfire screamed. She dove down with lightning speed and caught her mate. "What's wrong?" she asked. Soarin could only moan. It was obvious that he was in great pain. Seeing his condition, all of the Wonderbolts helped to carry Soarin into a bed within their headquarters.
"I'm sorry fellas, but it looks like practice is cancelled today." Spitfire informed her team. They all nodded, and left the room. Spitfire laid down into the bed with Soarin and kissed his cheek. "I will stay with you." she told him in a soft voice.
"Luna?" Luna spun around to see Soarin hovering behind her.
"It worked!" Luna could't help but squeal with delight. Soarin had a puzzled look on his face.
"What worked?" he asked, "What did you do?"
"I replaced you with a clone!" Luna told him with excitement. "I used a powerful spell that an ancient organization once used to sneak their members out of their normal lives. Pretty cool, huh?"
Soarin was impressed, but he was still worried. "Will they notice that... whatever it is, isn't me?" he asked.
"I'm sure." Luna assured him. "The fake you is pretending to be hurt really bad, and now the Wonderbolts don't have practice today!"
Soarin still seemed doubtful, but he decided to trust Luna.
"So," Soarin started, "I guess I better go to Rainbow Dash now, right?" Soarin started to fly off towards Rainbow Dash's house, but Luna blocked his path.
"Actually, I was thinking that maybe we could, you know, not tell Rainbow Dash about you not being at practice today?" Luna had a pleading look on her face, but her eyes told Soarin that he would regret denying the princess.
Soarin didn't know quite how to respond. He really wanted to see Rainbow, but the more he looked at Luna, the more he wanted to go with her.
No! he thought to himself, that was a one time thing with Luna. It's not going to happen again!
Luna could see that Soarin was strugglin with this decision.
"I'm sorry!" she cried out so suddenly that it startled Soarin. "I don't know what I was thinking Soarin, I should have known better." In tears, the princess flew off, leaving Soarin floating there by himself. The little pegasus bit his lip as a whirlwind of thoughts went though his mind. He couldn't decide if he should go with the princess, or go to Rainbow dash.
Soarin watched as Luna flew farther and farther away. Finally, it hit him. He knew what he wanted more.
"Luna! Wait!" Soarin called out. Luna slowed down and cast a sad eye back at Soarin. Her guise had worked, and now Saorin was flying full speed towards her. The little blue pegasus collided with Luna and planted his lips on hers. They had almost impacted the ground before they pulled apart and landed safely on their hooves.
"Where should we go?" Soarin asked. The princess didn't even answer, but instead jumped on top of him. Instead of hitting dirt like he expected, Soarin found himself on top of a big plush bed. He looked around at the elegant room, and knew he must be in a palace bed.
"This is one of the private rooms" Luna said with a cute seductive tone. She leaned close to Soarin's ear, and whispered "no pony will find us here."
Soarin felt his heart leap with joy as the princess brought him into a loving embrace. She kissed him passionately, and then began licking him on his neck and cheeks. Soarin started whimpering to his own surprise, but he felt so good. His wings were extended and pressing hard into the bed. Luna smoothed out his feathers, and started kissing him again. The massaging and kissing didn't last long before they started what they really wanted to do.
They kept on going throughout most of the night, only stopping to rest for a while before going at eachother again. The only thing that kept that night from being absolutely amazing was the guilt that weighed heavily on Soarin as he constantly thought about how he had betrayed Rainbow Dash.
It was far into the night before Luna and Soarin finally decided to get some sleep. They cuddled up together as close as they could. Luna was alseep in an instant, while Soarin lay awake, wondering what he was going to about his predicament.
Two tears fell from the stallion's eyes. One for Rainbow Dash, and one for Spitfire... he thought. Darkness came over Soarin, and nightmares took over his mind.
