 So this is fillydelphia. It took longer to get than thought but now that I’m here, time to get a job” Blaze spoke to himself. Blaze spent hours looking for any job but most owners forced him out or panicked on sight, until:

 “I know this place. This has a huge list of undiscovered crimes. Maybe I could use that to my advantage” thought Blaze as he smirked. As he entered the restaurant everypony stopped and looked at blaze as walk to the counter.

“I'm looking for the manager” Blaze asked. The colt at the counter was busy telling the chiefs what had been ordered.

“You’re talking to him” he grunted.

“Good, I was wondering if you had any job vacancy's?” blaze asked. The manager turned around slowly

“Well lets see what you got-” as he saw blaze he began to laugh. “This must be a joke blaze blue the infamous fire mane asking for a job” he continued to laugh.

Blaze replied “what’s so funny. I'm a bit low on cash and besides, you don't want the world to find out about your dirty secret do we?” the manager started to sweat. Blaze smirked as he repeated “Do we?”

The manager groaned “Fine, I need a new delivery boy. It pays ten bits per a successful delivery, 8am to 9 pm and you start today. Sound fine Blaze?”

“Yes, that will do nicely” Blaze said in a confident tone as the manager gave blaze his uniform and blaze happily started his sift.

At the end Blaze hung up his uniform and left.

“One hundred and twenty bits in one day. I guess he paid me more to keep my mouth shut. Well it’s getting late. I better find some shelter for the night” Blaze thought proudly. As he was walking past some back alleys he heard a couple of voices

“So have you got our money?” one asked. He sounded male.

“I told you, I don’t owe you anything!” this one was female

“You owe the don a lot of money and he said if you don’t pay today, we get to do whatever we what to you” said a different voice.

“Back off you scum! Um h-h-help” screamed the female.

Blaze looked around the corner and saw two earth ponies: One with a bald head and one with an over the top amount of tattoos and a unicorn with purple shades on. The bald one slapped the unicorn, then took off her shades and smashed them

“Shut it! You have one last chance pay up or else” he said, glaring at the unicorn.

“Or else what” Blaze replied, walking down the ally. They look at Blaze.

“Who do you think you are?” one asked. Blaze stared and didn't say a word.

The tattooed one spoke in surprise, “Wait, your Blaze Blue. One of the Catastrophic colts!”

Blaze replied confidently, “So you have heard of me and now your going to leave her alone or I will have to beat you within an inch of your life”

The bald stallion replied “Wow, do you really think you can beat us? I bet you all bark”

The tattooed one interrupted him and whispered to the other.

“Wait, don’t forget Commandos is a part of the colts”

“So?” the other replied out lowed

The tattoo one continued, “So Commandos is a master at military style hoof to hoof fighting and maybe he taught Blaze a few killing moves”

The bald one completely disregarded everything and said “Meh, lets just beat up this weakling and then have some fun with little Vinyl here”

As they both charged Blaze’s mane began surrounding himself and then the fire formed the image of dragon. The thugs stopped as the fire dragon approached them.

“OK! We are sorry. We’ll leave her alone” they said, running away as the fire dragon turned back in to Blaze’s mane. He turned to the unicorn and asked

“Are you ok?”

The unicorn giggled and said “Man thanks for the help. By the way, the names Vinyl Scratch or DJ-P0N-3”

Blaze smiled but then asked “Why were the con-artists after you?”

Vinyl quickly replied “Well you see, a couple of weeks ago some drunk idiot broke my turntable and I didn't have the money to get a new...”

Blaze interrupted “...so you asked the don for a loan to get a new one but every time you went to pay he increased the amount until you refused to pay. Am I right?”  

Vinyl nodded “Yep”  

Blaze grinned as he said “Well they won’t be bothering you again”

Blaze began to walk away

“Wait, where you going?” Vinyl asked.

Blaze replied “Some where with some shelter”

“Why” asked Vinyl in confusion.

Blaze turned and began to explain his story.

“Well you saved me so you can stay with me for a while and I wont take no for an answer” Vinyl said as she grabbed Blaze’s hoof and lead him to her place.
