*A MONTH LATER: PONYVILLE TOWN HALL AND CHURCH*

"Well it would be a first for Ponyville, but it's certainly legal to have a three pony marriage." Madame Mare said, "However if one of you divorces then the other's  marriage will be dissolved as well. Do you understand?" Applejack barged in the door, "Ah'm real sorry Madame Mare but ah can't let this go through, ah mean it's just wrong." Rainbow Dash turned to her friend and said, "Applejack it's ok, if it wasn't then why would all three of us want to go through with it? And what makes it wrong? We all love each other." Dash said calmly. "Ah know but ah gotta talk t' Red, in pravate" As Red walked into the other room Ditzy looked Applejack in the eye and a look of sadness grew in both of their faces.

"Red there's sumtin y' should know about Ditzy, she's...well she's got cancer. She has fer a long time and what she told y' was true bout her lazy eye, but that was only one casue of it. Truth is she has a nearly in operable tumor in her brain. Nurse Redheart told me to tell y' that she's only got a few moths to live, less they can cut it out." Applejack was nearly in tears now. "Red ah'm sorry ah had to come bust up yer weddin plannin but ah had to make sure ye still wanted t' go through with it." Red was shocked, in a daze and with the news he had let himself start to cry. When he had finally snapped out of it he said, "AJ of course I still want to go through with it. At least if they can't get rid of the tumor she can die happy. I mean we love Ditzy." As he went back into the room with Ditzy and Dash he wiped the tears from his eyes and tried his best to smile, which just came out as a plain look. "Anything you need to tell me Red?" he looked at her and said, in the words of Big Mac "Eenope" which gave Applejack a little smile in all of this sadness. He leaned over and gave Ditzy and Dash a kiss. He looked at Ditzy and in her eyes.. er... eye she looked a little happier. "As long as you keep that silly filly happy there Red, s'all good by me." Applejack said out of the blue.

It was another couple of days before Red, Ditzy, and Dash went to the Canterlot medical center for Ditzy's checkup.

"Vee might be able to remove zee tumor today, vee vould half to sedate ms. Doo immediately und act quickly, the procedure may also prove quite fatal." Dr. Azrts said with a minor gleam in his eye, "Und if sed procedure was sucessful vee may neva half to vorry about zis orrible cancer eva again." The doctor's thick Stalliongrad accent didn't disguise his nervousness in the least. "Doctor if there's a fighting chance that you can remove this cancer once and for all then you have my backing, Dear?" Red asked "Yes, I certainly agree to it" Ditzy said.
