Once, the wrong choice was made, and a race of ponykind was forever laid extinct, only to breathe life into another in a grand act of cosmic irony. At the same time, a mother lay low in her tomb, her final act of life giving hers to the one she loved most. From this turmoil escapes one stallion who must fight for his life when those two very same choices push and pull him into new worlds, filled with new adventure and new danger around every corner.

And it doesn't help one bit that they have minds of their own.
