Prologue

"Hnnnnnng! What a rough night of sleep....."

I woke up in the loud alarm of my clock, 8:35.

Then I turned and looked at the calendar hanging high up on the wall, a day was circled in red. September 25, my birthday!

Remembered my last birthday, which took place here at Canterlot, and my friends gave a big impact on the high-class behavior and manner of the Canterlot unicorns. And so, this year, I'm planning to celebrate with my friends at PonyVille instead. After finishing the issues the princess asked me to, I will head back to PonyVille this noon.

Oh, forgot to introduce myself. My name is Twilight Sparkle. I am an unicorn, and was previously studying in the Canterlot school who taught by Princess Celestia, my teacher.

But, beside spells, and magics, she DID taught me something else. Something to help me become a veteran on surviving, and find another wonderful mean of life.

She taught me on how to decapitate, perfectly slice open undeads in golden ratios, and how to master a chainsaw. All about undeads, and how to protect my own hometown, friends and family.

Since I found my cutie mark after she appreciates my talents, I feel so grateful for her to teach me a lot of such things. And after I had finished my studies much earlier than other ponies, she decided to teach me something else.

"Now, Twilight Sparkle. I can see you're very clever and have a lot of talent on magic. Since you've already finished all your lessons and studies, I decided to teach you something else, about how to survive as an adult in the future. I just want to know if you're interested."

She asked me one day, at the school.

"I would love to learn everything I can, princess, and I am glad to learn something useful form my future!"

"Good." Said with smile on her face, showing a cardboard box to me. The words 'Douchebag-sawing happiness for Twilight' were written on it with a marker.

It carried the most influential thing for my teen life. A purple bedazzled, long-blade chainsaw, gas driven. Deadly chains can saw through undead's rotten flesh easily without doubt.

My eyes were full of sparkles and flash on seeing such a stunning, beautiful thing.

"Is...that...a...chainsaw?" I asked with surprising gladness.

"Yes, my faithful student. Since you've already mastered what you need to completely use your talent, it's time for me to teach you something...about surviving in the real world."

Said the princess with a trustful glance.

"But..wasn't I too young for such...a weapon?" I looked at the beautiful yet dangerous chainsaw. I thought I had already loved it since the first sight. "I am afraid it might hurt somepony and even myself. Besides, how am I going to survive with this?"

"It's too much to explain in a hurry, and first, before you can own this, you must promise me, not to use it the wrong way, and to protect whatever you should with it. Once you've yet again mastered what I'm going to teach you, you're going to be a real expert."

"Yes, yes I will!"

Start from that day four years ago,I had been following princess Celestia for secret lessons and trainings, on how to exterminate zombies.

But since then, my behavior was starting to become strange. Until my parents to force me to tell what happened, I asked again my teacher for help.

I was putting way too much attention to zombie-slicing, that I had even forgotten the most basic manners and my original behavior. Then I was suggested to develop an interest, other than reading.

Wandering around high school during a break, I found a club quite interesting - cheer squad. Right now on the moment I was lack on some physical activities too, make this will help on both sides?

Then with no doubt,I joined the club, to surprisingly find out, I was quite well on it. Then after three and half years of joining the club, I became the cheerleader of it, the Equestria High school cheer squad. How amazing.

Now, I just had combined my cheerleading skills and my chainsaw together, making fighting zombies more fun and efficiently.

In order to keep up my nutrients, I eat lollipops. Boy, I love lollipops so much, especially Strawberry flavored ones. They didn't have much calories, and is just the perfect food for me.

Oh well, back to nowadays. Today is my birthday, 18th birthday! I was so glad of it, but still, I have to go to work. More specifically, I have to go to meet the princess at the Canterlot castle. And it's now -

8:48! Gotta go!

I quickly jumped off bed, used my magic to pick up a comb to tidy my hair, then packed up all the stuff I need into a bag. Files, wallet, ID, phone, and last but not least, my chainsaw and lollipops.

"Spike, I'm going! Take care of everything around while I'm left!"

I yelled to the baby dragon, who was still in bed upstairs.

"Huh? Oh, uh.Twilight, okay, count..on...me...*snore*" He replied with unclear, discrete sentences and words.

"Sigh...he was always like that." I quietly spoke, then rushed out of the door and slammed it hard.

"BANG!"

The unconscious bang woke up the dragon in great surprise.

"Woaaaaaah! Wha, what? Oh-please Twilight, that almost gave me heart attack..."

Early on the streets of Canterlot, there at least should be some unicorns walking around - but strangely, not today. The streets were so empty and quiet, just like it's a ghost town.

But this is impossible. Something must have happened, and I don't have time for this - gotta head to the castle, right NOW!

I looked at my phone. 8:51.

Alright, I am going to be late, if I don't run as fast as I can now.

And so, I slightly put away my manner of walking properly on the streets like an unicorn should, and run at the top of my leg's speed.

Running to a cross section, I turned right, and saw the things that I don't want to see most in such a hurry.

Not couples arguing, not a car crash, not old ponies felling onto the ground.....

Zombie ponies. A BIG crowd of them. And they were blocking my way!

Oh my, when was it since the last outbreak? Guess I have to clear this mess before going to where I need to.

"Seriously?"

I dropped my bag on the hard floor, hide my iPhone and lollipops well, then take out my beloved chainsaw, and started it.

VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN!

"Today is my birthday- "

I rushed towards the horde of undeads, slicing the chainsaw through them, bringing some flying blood and flesh pieces.

"And I am about to be late -"

Then, followed by a zombie running towards me and take attempt to punch me, I jumped through him and vertically sliced him into half.

"You all are gonna block my way?!"

I swung the chainsaw in a circle, chopping a few heads down.

"UNDEAD DOUCHEBAGS!!"

In a quick blink, whole of the crowd was turned into dismembered flesh and piles of blood.

"OMFG!"

This is me, Twilight Sparkle, in another identity, of being a quite veteran zombie hunter instead of a 'bookworm' my foes called me. But too bad, I cannot grind them with this, since I has already promised my teacher not to use it to harm live ponies.

Except...they're undeads now too.

This was going to be funny to find my foes and see if they're in the herd, but I am really about to late.

I then hold the chainsaw with my magic and run fast again in my four hooves.

"Finally to the castle."

I said, looking at the tall gate, between the black iron bars, blood can be roughly seen.

"Now, how do I get inside..?"

I shook the gate. It's locked tight.

Hmm, I think the princess won't mind if I use some brutal force to proceed on my way-

*SCCREEEECH - VNNNNNNNNNN*

I sawed the tall gate into half. And followed by two loud BANGS, they fell onto the cold hard floor.

Well, We can use magic to fix it anyway.

"Princess? Mr. Guards? Anypony home? Hello?"

I held my chainsaw tight, slowly walking into the castle's garden, and yelled loudly.

I looked around. Nopony was there, even no royal guards were on position.

That's odd. They never leave their position in any situations, even if the castle is falling apart.

Until I saw the blood trail and hoofprints on all over the floor and walls, and the elegant decorations were all messed up and broken, I then realizes, zombies must have break into the castle.

But how? The gates were locked up tight as hell!

I turned left to a corridor, and what I saw was really stunning: a big horde of zombie ponies slowly walking towards a few servant ponies. Standing in front of them, is three royal guards holding spears trying to hold zombies backwards.

"Stay away! Don't come any closer!"

"Aaah, get away from us!"

Oh no, they were being pushed into a dead-end! I gotta save them!

"Hold on ponies, I am coming!"

I said as I rushed to the flesheaters with excitement and annoyance. I haven't experienced an outbreak since years ago, it's a great chance for me to move my limbs more. The annoying thing is, these scales of outbreaks usually consists of large quantities of undeads to deal with, and there will be some strong, powerful ponies who getting possessed and unwillingly joined the allies of zombies.

And mostly, there should be somepony who is behind all of this, and there are various reasons for them to unleash the undeads. Hate, racism, unknown fetish....and mostly, the person is being ignored, hated and starting to think incorrectly.

After a dozens of knocking, smashing and slashing, the crowd was controlled and cleared.

"Whew." I lowered my chainsaw and said, "It's safe now."

"Thank you so much, Twilight!'

"Yeah, Miss Twilight, you saved our life."

"You don't need to thank, me, really. It's my job to protect ponies from undeads. Besides, why is the castle breached? Wasn't it protected properly?" I asked one of the guards.

"It was, but, the zombie ponies did managed to crush and break a hole at the castle wall, and so they flow in like water. We hardly managed to hold 'em off, but we got separated from the captain during the fight."

"You mean, my brother? Is he in danger?"

"I don't really know, but he was fighting with a even larger group of zombies, and when we last saw him, he went upstairs with them following him."

"Okay, I got it, thanks. Please help me bring the others to safety."

"Will do, and be careful, Twilight." A guard said.

I nodded to him, watching him and the other two guards bringing the servant ponies outside. Then, I run up stairs.

Hope my brother is okay...

On arriving upstairs, there was nothing but blood and part of limbs and fleshes. Luckily I didn't see any of the royal guard's armor, that means they and my brother is still safe.

I keep walking through the long, long corridor, went through doors and suddenly, I heard some noises from the end of the corridor, in the big room ahead.

It was the princess's room. And who I just heard, is my brother shouting loud.

"Back off! Don't come any closer!"

I started to run fast, trying to reach the doors before things going worse.

Then, I heard the sounds of a few magic blasts, and followed by my brother's shriek.

Just a few miles, c'mon Twilight!

I banged open the door, seeing princess Celestia standing backwards, and a zombie unicorn was trying to bite my brother in the neck!

It has only a few seconds for me to think before my brother was bitten to death.

The only weapon I got, is my chainsaw. And it never leaves my hooves since I got it and became a zombie hunter. I don't know how will it be when i let it go, and I've never tried it before.

But I have no choice. My brother might be dead before I can actually run to him and saw that zombie into half.

I gotta try this. No matter how, and what will happens next.

"Shining! Watch out!" I yelled, then I put my front hooves backwards, and quickly send the chainsaw flying towards the zombie pony on my brother, just like throwing a javelin.

It worked well, and I am glad I did do that.

The fast-moving chain of the chainsaw perfectly slashed the zombie's head off, and it's teeth was about to reach my brother's neck.

"Shining Armor! Are you all right?!" Princess Celestia asked in worriness.

"I am fine, your highness. And, thanks, Twilight."

"Zombies just won't listen to you, my big brother, their brain is useless."

I chuckled and walked towards the stopped chainsaw lodged into the carpet on the ground, picking it up. "That's why we would have to destroy it."

"Twilight! You are okay too! Thank my own beard, I am worrying about you."

"No worries, princess, I am here fine and unharmed. By the way, why is there an outbreak, again?"

"Reasons are still unknown, but we can sure this time there's somepony powerful and strong behind this." My brother answered me.

"The outbreak was reported early this morning. We still have no clue who will do such a thing."

Oh, forgot to say, my brother, my teacher, and most of my friends were all zombie hunters. We just have different styles of hunting, and we used different weapons. For Shining and princess Celestia, they used magic to dismember zombies.

"From the left magic power found on the dead zombies before they disappears, it seems like this is a strong, brute pony who did all of these. And with such a large number of zombies and their destructive power, his or her final scheme must be world domination or destruction." My brother continues.

"But, unfortunately, Twilight, me and princess Celestia have to stay here and guard all over Canterlot, to prevent the zombies from spawning again. So, it's up to you to clear the whole country and find and kill who caused this all."

It wasn't surprising me. Since I 've became a zombie hunter four years ago, I have been dealing with different outbreak events with different scales. For this national-scaled one, it will just be lasting s bit longer and more tired.

"Do you need me to brief you again, Twilight? On about how to terminate the zombies and what happened behind all these incidents."

"Sure, I'ld love to, princess."

"Okay, then listen carefully.

The whole universe is divided into three dimensions: Land of Virtues, World of Sins, and our dimension, Earth. Plus the Sun and Moon, composing the whole Universe.

Between the World of Sins and Earth, it's strictly protected by unknown ethereal powers and forces. Only a hooffull of ponies, like me could have power to break the gateway between the two dimensions. And also, extremely-great physical force may also do that, but this must be very destructive, like explosives and magic blasts.

The zombie ponies were actually dead spirits arisen from the World of Sins. They hurt innocent ponies, destroy properties and causes horror.Unlike religions and rumors, they are not infectious, but are brutal and have powerful hooves, kicks and magics that could easily kill unarmed and normal ponies.

One of the most effective way to completely eliminate a zombie, is to give the maximum damage to the head, like gunshot and decapitation. And for your weapon, Twilight, is one of the best weapon against zombies. Combined with your cheerleading skills, I can sure you can beat all the crap outta there. While you're cleaning zombies, we will do our best to find out who is behind all of these.

Lastly, good luck, Twilight."

"You can count on me, princess, I will surely -"

"Your...your highness! The..there, outside at the Canterlot sculpture garden!"

A royal guard rushed in suddenly. His armor is full of scratches and blood, as well several injuries and tears.

"What happened outside?"

"A...an unicorn...an azure unicorn..standing on the sculpture..of Discord.."

"Huh? Speak clearly please, sir guard?" I said in urge.

"It..it was Trixie!"A familiar voice said.

It was Spike.

"Spike? Why are you here? Shouldn't you be sleeping on bed lifelessly?"

"I got completely woke up by your door-bang of kindness. No time to talk about now.. It was Trixie who was standing on Discord outside!"

"Trixie? Who was that? My memory's hazy..."

"The Great and Powerful Trixie! That unicorn who bragged so much abuser her magic, humiliated our friends, and when Snips and Snails went to startle a Ursa Minor and led it to Ponyville, she got totally fucked up and claim that it was all a lie about she can beat that monster! Then you used your magic to -"

"Okay, okay, I can remember that already...Wasn't she left Ponyville already?"

"I think you should go out and see it yourself. She looks so different than last time..."

"Right. Hop on my back,we'll go together."

I immediately rushed outside to the sculpture garden, followed by the princess.

"Wait, Twilight, I 'll go with you, just for safety.I can sense an uneasy presence of some strong magical force....Shining, guard the castle well."

"Yes, your highness."

It's her.

Trixie, The Great and Powerful Trixie, standing on top of the tall Discord's statue, yelling in joy and madness.

"Why, Twilight Sparkle, long time no see!"

She said in a loud voice - or much likely, yell loudly, with a maniac look on her face.

"Who are you? Tell us your name!"

The princess yelled loudly, just like when she was facing Discord.

"Oh! Your majesty! I got to tell you, this place is horrible as hell !

I do have strength, power and I had no fear and doubt to call my self the best unicorn in Equestria.

Well? Everypony disrespected me! Calling me loser, lair, retarded...any kinds of insult!

But, you'll see, you ALL will see, no more of these will ever last!

If the world rejected me, ridiculed me, I'm gonna make this world BURN! I'll show you!"

She said in anger and fury as we kept a distance, preventing her from suddenly attacking us.

"What are you talking about? It's all yourself who made you became like this!" I replied, holding my chainsaw tight.

"NO! All of you were the same! Every city I went across, the ponies talked the same to me! Rude, insult, bad words!"

"I guess you've already forgotten how you bragged yourself and humiliated ore friends, don't you?" Spike, who was on my back, said.

"Heh heh heh..of course not, how I could forget something that's so funny like this? And I'm deciding to make this more funnier!"

She lifted the black leather-covered book in her left hoof, and it starts to emit strange purple aura and some lightning sparkles.

And suddenly, princess gave a great gasp.

"That book...impossible! That's the book hiding the only ritual that can break the barrier between the two worlds! How did she..get the book?"

"What's going on, princess?"

"That book, the unicorn's holding, is an extremely top secret! One of the sections in it have clearly explained and stated that how to start the only devastating enough ritual to damage the barrier between Our world and the World of Sins! If the ritual is succeed, there will be a great leak between our dimensions and the evil souls from the World of Sins will pour into Earth! And the most important of all...

only Aletheia and I knew where it was kept!"

"Huh? Who..is Aletheia?"

"She is one of my personal yet secret assistants, but the first thing we have to do is STOP HER RIGHT NOW!"

Said the princess, who expanded her wings and flew to Trixie.

"Hahahahahahahahaha, sorry, princess, you can't break the rules! The ritual have to go on, and the world has to be destroyed!"

Then, after a loud bang, she was knocked back from miles of Trixie, and managed to safely land in four hooves, with a clear bruise and burn at her forehead.

"Princess! Are you okay? What was that?!"

"I am alright, Twilight...it seems that she have already unleashed almost all of the ancient magical powers of that book. Even me do not have the power to completely control it..."

Princess Celestia said in a serious manner, still keeping her eyes at Trixie.

"Prepare...for the biggest horror you ever seen in your life!"

She yelled, then starting to slowly, softly pronounce a bunch of spells.

"For my obey to the king of evil, I request you for the aid of destroying this pathetic Earth, summon the five deadly spirits, possess, rot, ruin the world!"

A sudden stroke of lightning gave me a complete shock in the heart.

"Shit! That almost freak me out.." Spike said in surprise.

Then, a big, dark cloud formed up on the sky above, followed by more lightnings, and I can barely see from the cloud, there's five shades. Shades of ponies, having wings, probably pegasus, and...is that pointy thing on their forehead....horns?

"No...how could they.."

"Did you know those ponies, princess? Who are they?"

"They're my assistants! Five of them, four pegacorns and one pegasus!"

"Pegacorn? But..how could that be possible? I thought there are only three Pegacorn princesses in Equestria! How come.." Spike said.

"That is a long story, and I don't have time to tell it now. They five were missing since two weeks ago, after a weekend, and now...they 're the 'evil spirits'..? What the hell is going on.."

I looked carefully and closely at one of the flying ponies. She seemed to have titanic strength, determining from the motorcycle she is carrying back on her shoulder.

I looked at the pony's exposed skin, and strangely,I can hardly find any signs of necrosis due to zombification. The only visible one is the long, long stitches around her neck - or much likely, she had been decapitated. And her eyes was having an uncomfortable-feeling glowing orange.

"Princess, who is that pony?" I asked, pointing at the Pegacorn with my chainsaw.

"You mean the one with a motorcycle? She's Siren, Siren Scarlett. Why 're you asking that?"

"If she is becoming a zombie, shouldn't her body and appearance shown extensive decay? All I can see is her head being chopped off and sewed back to her body. Nothing else."

"You're right...and I remembered, the scar was presenting since we met, I can ensure this. That means, she's not completely 'dead' yet...."

"I guess so,but how can we explain she's on Trixie's side then?"

"No time for more chit-chatting, ladies! Enjoy the very last few moments of your stay on this world, a miserable, terrifying, fragile Earth!"

Trixie yelled in a much louder voice, and once again, she lifted the book high into midair, looking at the five flying ponies.

"Ponies! Rot the country, I command you! Slash, destroy, burn, liquefy, grind and kill everything and every part of it!"

"Not a chance, ruffian!"

I yelled, and restarted my chainsaw, then quickly run towards the statue of Discord, lifted the chainsaw and horizontally cut into the base of it.

It took not so long time for me to completely sawn it half, and when it does, it immediately collapses and falls, same as the unicorn standing on top of it.

"Ack!" Trixie gave a loud groan on landing, the book slipped away from her hoof.

"And now, this one..!" I run towards the unicorn's book, who was far away a few miles from where she was.

As I hold the chainsaw downwards and was about to rip it...!

"Watch out!" Princess Celestia yelled,and grabbed me tight, falling together aside, just the right moment to dodge a few giant red glowing letters hitting the position I was just standing and shattered into invisible particles.

"You can actually dodge 'em! Both of you! I am soooooooo fucking impressed, woo-hoo!"

A stallion voice said loudly.

Then I saw an dark orange Pegasi, with an exaggerate red tall mohawk, iron-made spiky collar and belt, a necklace with a badge of Celestia's cutie mark's logo on it, large grey vest and sleeveless, collar-less shirt printed the words 'PUNK ROCK REPUBLICA', and front leg bracelets.

A set of obliviously punk rocker outfit. In fact, it's kind of cool, too.

"Who are you?" I asked, struggling to stand up from the grass, same as the princess.

"Don't ask, let's play. PISS OFF!"

He said, and for the last two words, they turned to again, giant red-glowing letters that going really fast and hit me and the princess unconsciously and sending us far, far away.
