Dumpster Dump

"Where's Fluttershy...?" Dash asked, looking in the direction of where Fluttershy was supposed to be.

"Uh..." You also guided your eyes over to her seat, seeing two pink sandals neatly put into the corner, and a vine strapping them together, "Her sandals are here."

"I kinda saw that." She rolled her eyes and pushed on the top of the dumpster, "Oh Celestia."

"What?"

"Don't dumpsters lock from the inside?" Dash and you dramatically locked eyes, widening a millimeter per second, "You idiot! You locked us in a dumpster!"

"Fluttershy got out!" You countered, pounding on the walls of the crate.

"She probably locked it. But you still threw us in here." Dash growled and rubbed her feet, getting the cold to flee away from them, "Stupid move. We could've just walked back to the college."

"Pardon me, but you couldn't move anymore because your feet were completely frozen. Fluttershy was freakin' wobbling all over the place and she probably would've ended up in a dumpster anyways. I think I saved your life." You watched as Dash took off her sunglasses and buried them into a pile of junk.

"We're stuck in a dumpster! You think that was a good idea?!" There goes her golden ponytail. Into the garbage.

"Well, maybe!" A wave of guilt washed through your body, your face drooping.

"Are we having our first couple fight?" Dash asked with a quiet squeak.

"...Yeah..."

"At least it means something." She punched the roof, it barely denting. There were some knocks that echoed through the small area, and Dash hit the walls again, "Ugh!"

"Dash, calm your buns. So what, we're stuck... Fluttershy might try to find her shoes and trace herself back to here." You reasoned, laying down.

"Might. Might. What if she doesn't, hm? Then what." Her legs crossed and she groaned loudly, shaking the cube they were locked in.

"I don't know-"

"Exactly. Want to know what'll happen? I'm gonna tell you..." She crawled over to you, "We'll be trapped forever. Forever."

"You're thinking too negatively. Stop making it sound grim, maybe we can have some private time in this dumpster." You pat her head and wiggled your eyebrows, "Right?"

"No."

"Fine then." And by you saying that, it was the end of your conversation with Dash. She twisted away from you and kept glaring at the hatch.

Everything was pretty dark in the 'security' of where you two were. You could just make out Dash without thinking that she was a raccoon scavenging for food. Your stomach grumbled at the thought of food, and you guessed the day. If Hearths Warming is on Tuesday, it's Wednesday. Recycling day-

You smiled and knew someone would find you today, guaranteed. More specifically, an adult. Not any kids, who would scream at the sight of people in a dumpster. A minute passed with no talking, and before you knew it, ten minutes. The time on your watch read 8:00am, most students would be awake by that time. You facepalmed and took out your phone from your pocket, unlocking it and scrolling through your contacts to see if you had anyone responsible enough to come get you out. Rarity would hate being in a dumpster, plus she blocked me... Fluttershy probably hates dumpsters now, Twilight blocked me... Who's she...? Whatever. Ah, Derpy!

You pressed your finger down onto Derpy's title, choosing call. Dash spoke up as she heard your phone ringing, "We have no cell service."

"Crap." You tucked the phone back into your pocket, having hope no matter what because of that fact that it's Wednesday. You yawned obnoxiously loud, trying to annoy Dash.

She ignored you, going back to staring upwards. Her dress was all dirty, like your suit, and she clogged her nose because the stench was getting heavier, "Dumbass."

The winds outside continued to move around loudly and quickly, the blizzard still there and working. You asked yourself in your head why you think Fluttershy left without waiting for the other two inhabitants. Nothing added up, no reason would Fluttershy ditch you guys. She's just too sweet. Dash finally chilled out, hands behind her head to rest against a wall. You did the same thing, eventually drifting off to sleep.

Dash watched you go into a slumber, and then started striking the metal with her fists again. You jumped awake by the noise, your head impacting the roof. As you rubbed your noggin, there was a voice coming from outside. Dash stopped and listened.

"Who is in there? Show yourselves!" You clutched your ears, the sound was too loud, like the one that does the announcements...

"Luna?! It's me, Dash! ...And my roommate!"

"Rainbow Dash? Why art thou..." Vice Principal Luna trailed off, starting her sentence quieter than last time.

"Idiot here got us locked in, now would you mind unlocking the doors so we can get out?" Dash smiled, and heard a click.

"Unlocked, now be gone! I have trash to rid of." Luna stepped back as Dash flung open the hatch, jumped out, and hugged Luna, who was bundled up in six layers of clothing and still shivering.

"Thank you for setting us free! And damn it's cold out..." Dash let go of the vice principal and ran to the sidewalk, waiting for cars to pass by, "HURRY UP, YOU TRUCK!"

You slowly climbed out of the box, rolling your eyes and nodding politely at Luna. She smiled and nodded back before throwing the junk bag away and flipping the lid down. She walked to the road and crossed it with the rainbow-haired that just wanted to get into the dorm, drink a hot cocoa and relax. You followed behind them, hands in pockets and head looking down at the snowy road. I gotta hang out with Luna more, she seems more of a student than a vp.

Dash ran into the college and picked up her high-heels which sat inside of the building, but still by the door. Luna adjusted her feminine knit cap so it covered her ears and tightened her black scarf as you opened the door for her, which Dash slammed rudely in you and Luna's faces to keep the cold out.

"Thanks for getting that dumpster open for us, Vice Principal Luna."

"Oh please, Vice Principal Luna is too formal. Call me Luna." Her navy hair flowed like her sister's, but created  illusion that made little stars appear and shine.

"Thank you anyways." You and her walked side-by-side down the hallway, but she stopped at the office.

"Farewell, here is my cellular device number..." She pulled out a black phone and gave you it, and you swapped numbers, "Thou may make my cellular device ring anytime, except for night."

You gave her back her phone and waved to her, then strolled away and up the stairs. When you got up, you opened the dorm, plopping down onto your bed. Dash was taking a shower, obvious by the water hitting the bath noise, because she needed one... Badly. Sitting in trash overnight wouldn't make her smell good, neither did it make you smell heavenly.

"Hurry up." You yelled from the comfort of your warm bed.

"Nope. I sat in garbage." She shouted back, the door between you two cancelling out some of her volume.

"I did too."

"But you stayed positive about it." Next Chapter: Laughing Lu-Lu Estimated time remaining: 24 Minutes
