He snuggled into the soft covers of the bed, not even noticing Celestia as she teleported in and did the same. He was soon asleep, in his own place of peace.

The land was green, the sky blue with a few clouds. And sitting on a hill was Alexander.

"Well," He sighed bored. "This is the most suck-tastic dream by far." He looked around and then only saw a lone tree with a figure underneath. "Why not. If she's staying with me, then I'll go talk."

He charged his horn before teleporting over to the tree where a bored Nightmare Moon was tapping her hoof.

"You look even more pissed off than usual." Alex commented at Nightmare.

"We art not in a good mood for thy games. King." She hissed.

"Not a king anymore. Only a devilishly handsome, kick ass, unstoppable, alter-dimensional, super enhanced, time traveling inter galactic criminal." He looked at the tree before sitting down next to her. "So, I'm guessing you want to talk?"

"Aye, we wish to speak with thee." She sat down facing him. "We have come with an omen of dread." She sighed. "Soon, soon a spirit will come after us. Only in thy dreams."

"I can't tell if your serious or trying to troll me." He scratched his goatee in thought. "I'm leaning towards serious. Although the long face is saying otherwise."

"This is not the time nor place for foolishness!" She yelled. "We hath warned thou of a spirit to haunt thou until thou vanquishes it."

"Alright. Anything else?" He said.

"Nothing more."

They sat there in silence, looking towards the vast green before Alexander turned to Nightmare, a thin grin on his lips.

"Nightmare, I have two ideas. One, if you could, give Discord nightmares to make him wake up swinging wildly. Second, Could you read the spell in Celestia's mind, the one so I can turn into a human again."

"We cannot do either. Except the first if we knew of his fear." She sighed. "Thou must question our half-sister for the information thou seek."

"Damn." He said. "We'll, only one thing left to do now." He shrugged getting up. "Time to wake up."

"Did thou not just go to rest?" Nightmare asked quirking an eyebrow.

"Yeah, but when you dream, time flies." He winked before the world faded.

He opened his eyes and saw two large violet pools staring back. He leaned his head back and saw Celestia, blushing wildly with her hooves against his chest, trying to push away.

"I grabbed you again, didn't I?" He asked letting go.

"Yes, and this time you got to close." She said getting up. "Good morning by the way. If you need me, I'll be in the shower, you'll have to wait."

"Alright. I was actually going out anyway." He pushed the covers off and trotted up to her. "By the way, what was that spell you used to turn me into a pony?" He asked titling his head.

"Why would you want to know that?" She asked looking at him with narrowed eyes. "Your not going to try and turn Discord into something, are you?"

"Of course not! I could turn him into a small cube if I wanted. All i would have to do is catch him and slowly squeeze." He snickered at her expression.

"Alex, that's quiet enough." She said putting a hoof to her mouth. "I suddenly don't feel so good."

She ran into the bathroom and left him alone. He smiled before teleporting to the library.

"Excuse me, miss." He said brushing off some charred hairs. "Where would the shape shifting books be?"

"Section 88.2/SS/HC." She pointed left. "Or you could read this." She pulled out a large, dusty tome from beneath the desk.

"Thanks..." He muttered looking at the large book, a grin slowly forming on his face. "This is just what I need." He chuckled darkly as he took it and teleported back to the bedroom.

He quickly closed his eyes and did so just in time to hear the clopping of hooves, and the dripping of water on the tile. "Ha! I remembered to keep my eyes closed this time!" He laughed as he heard a pony gasp.

"Alexander, what are you doing in my room?" Luna asked.

"Crap, I'm in the wrong room." He sighed as he felt around for a door knob. "A little help would be appreciated." He said before a hoof guided him to the door.

"Thanks." He said walking out.

He opened his eyes and saw the door to Celestia's chamber open.

"Alexander, I see you found what you were looking for." She said eying the book warily. "What are you going to do with it?"

"Read it, duh." He said rolling his eyes. "Its a book, that's what they're for. Reading." He walked past her and shut the door.

He looked back, a grin forming on his face as he rubbed his fore-hooves together.

"Now," he opened the book. "Time for a little change in attire."

He skimmed the pages, only looking at interesting figures.

"Let's see..." He read through a list he wrote down. "Gryphon, dragon, alicorn, Draconequus and human. Gryphon first!" He closed the book with a dusty thud.

He backed away and focused on himself. The power was growing in his horn, growing to the point it was almost blinding in sight.

In one flash his body convulsed with pain, again as before he dropped to his knees and started scratching furiously at his head.

He felt his hooves bend and twist, new flesh being made. Feathers sprouting all over his body. He muzzle shortened and narrowed to a point. He felt his entire frame change causing him to nearly collapse in agony.

With an eagle like screech he fell to the floor, panting and dazed. He groggily got up and looked at his talon.

"Sweet." He smiled looking at the silver talons. "I wonder what I look like now." He walked over to the mirror.

He was covered in white feathers from his head down to his lower torso that changed into a dark blonde lions coat. His beak was silver along with his talons and the claws in his paws. The feathers on top of his head were short but stuck up.

"Now that I know what that looks like," He turned back to the book and levitated it over. "Let's see what's next." he skimmed through his notes before deciding to change back into an alicorn.

"Good thing I kept my magic. Otherwise this would be really awkward." He chuckled as his talons lit up. "This is going to suck..."

He felt the same pain before, only it was considerably less painful than before. Now an alicorn again he put his armor back on and set the book aside.

"Now what?" He said to himself. "Do I turn back into a human and go somewhere or do I stay an alicorn and go somewhere?"

"Where were you planning on going?"

He turned to see Discord at the door.

"I don't know. Out I guess."

"Why don't you try the school house?" He said. "I'm sure Cherilee would love to hear about human culture."

"That's actually a good idea. Who are you and what have you done with my favorite dumb-ass?"

"Mark my words! You will rue the day you crossed-" He was shut up as Alex slammed the door into his muzzle.

"I'm sorry what was that?" He chuckled. "I didn't quiet catch that last part."

A knock was heard and he opened the door to see Discord glaring at him, a tissue in nose.

"I hate you so much." He growled.

"Can I get a pie?" Alex asked. "We can split it as a show of good will."

Discord snapped his fingers and a pie appeared in his paw. When he was reaching out Alex slammed the door shut again.

"I can't believe he fell for that twice!" He laughed. "I wonder what I could teach to the students?" He thought aloud as he teleported out to Ponyville.

Just as Celestia teleported in.

She heard a knock at the door and opened it. Discord smashed a water balloon full of green paint onto her.

"That's what you get for slamming... the door... in my face..." He mumbled as reality caught up with him. "N-Now Celestia. No need for violence, it was a simple mistake of identity." He raised his paw and talon up defensively.

"Discord!" She yelled as she jumped at him.

"Not the face! Not the face!" He screamed.

Throughout Canterlot, the girly scream of a male Draconequus was heard.
