The day after I had ascended into Alicornhood, I was given a coronation ceremony that would take place in the Crystal Empire. While we were there, this mare known as Sunset Shimmer came from the other side of a mirror and stole my crown which lead to a series of events that required me to track it down and get it back. Trust me, it wasn't easy. I was able to get my crown back however. Afterwards, in preparation for the next summer sun celebration, both Amictia and Rainbow Dash had been helping me get into the air.

"Seems your doing well with your flying." Amicitia said.

"Thanks, Amicitia." I told him.

"Oh yeah, butter up your marefriend why don't you?" Rainbow Dash teased. But then paused. "Wait, do you changelings even use that sort of language?" She actually asked.

"...You know what, that was actually a smart question. I'm surprised that came from Rainbow Dash of all ponies." Rarity said.

"I think we'll adapt it into our vocabulary. Because trust me, the actual term for a male changeling is something that is NOT safe for foals." Amicitia said.

"Really? What word would that be?" I asked. Amicitia whispered it in my ears. For the sake of this book, I refuse to write it down. "SERIOUSLY?! WASH YOUR MOUTH OUT WITH SOAP IF YOU EVER SAY THAT OUT LOAD!" I shouted.

"That bad huh?" Rainbow Dash asked. I then whispered it to Rainbow Dash. "...YEAH. I'll have to make sure I absolutely do NOT say that around Scootaloo." She said after.

Don't even ask me to write that word down. Because I won't. Not even if you threaten my life. Regardless, the next day was supposed to be the summer sun celebration, but when Celestia and Luna both went missing, I went with both Amicitia and Spike to Ponyville to see if my friends could help, which is when the vines occurred. I quickly summoned Discord.

"Discord, these vines, do you know what they are?" Amicitia asked the Draconequus.

"Amicitia, I was going to ask--" I tried to say but Amicitia shut me up.

"We don't even know if he even is involved with these things. So trying to accuse him is not the best idea." Amicitia said.

"Well, it seems Amicitia is quite on top of things. Not that I expected any less." Discord said. "But come now, what makes you think I had anything to do with these?" He asked.

"Discord, I asked you a question: Do you know anything about these vines? And don't dodge my questions." Amicitia said.

"Wait, can't Amicitia just magic these vines away?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"...Huh. Forgot I could do that." Amicitia said but found his magic quickly fizzling out from even trying. "...Uh, we may have a problem: I can't get my magic to work on these things." The changeling said.

"Oh that's not good. Discord, if you know anything about these vines; anything at all; now is the time to tell us." I told the Draconequus. "Or so help me, if you hold back any information at all, then once this is settled, the girls and I will beat you up for it." I added.

"Please be resonable, Discord." Fluttershy said.

"Oh alright. To be honest, I had planted the seeds of these things when I was first made into a statue. But just because I planted their seeds does not mean I can control them. I honestly thought that they had died off given how much time has passed." Discord said.

"Huh. Given how they are coming from the Everfree forest, I bet there's something in there that we need to get to." I said before I noticed Zecora coming out of the forest. "And I'm willing to bet Zecora might have a clue as to what!" I added before going over to the Zebra mare.

As it had turned out, the vines had been held back because of the Tree of Harmony, but without the elements for so long, the tree was overrun with vines which soon grew so out of control, not even Discord or Amicitia could do anything to them. Thankfully, we saved the Tree of Harmony, which soon spat out this strange box that had six keyholes on it. Afterwards, the next proper day, the Summer Sun Celebration was underway. A couple of days later, while I was planning to surprise Amicitia with a dinner at home, Spike had gone off to Rarity's early that day. But I was not prepared for what would happen next...

It was an hour before dinner time when Spike began to slump to the Golden Oak's Libary, but he was stopped at the door by Pharynx. "Whoa there Spike. What's got you down in the dumps?" Pharynx asked.

"I don't want to talk about it." Spike said. "Can I just get in? Please?" He asked.

"Sorry there pal. But I pinkie promised Twilight that I wouldn't let anyone but Prince Amicitia, Princess Celestia, or Princess Luna inside. And the only reason either of the other alicorns would come here is if some emergency situation popped up." Pharynx said.

"...What about Cadence?" Spike asked.

"The chances she'd come to Twilight would be to give the new alicorn love advice, but I think she'd already understand that Twilight wants to do something nice for his highness on her own." Pharynx said.

"Wow. Twilight's really into Amicitia and wants to really see if the two of them can become more then friends." Spike said. "...Wish Rarity could've done that with me." He added.

Pharynx grinned. "I think you just told me everything." The changeling said.

"What? How?!" Spike exclaimed.

"It's been no secret that you had a crush on that mare for a while now. Even I picked up on it, being a changeling and all. But guessing from your mopping and what you just said, sounds like she not only didn't return your feelings, but she tried letting you down easy." Pharynx explained. "...How close am I?" He grinned.

"...You pretty much nailed it right on the head..." Spike said.

"Hey cheer up. Your young. You'll find some pony else. The right girl. Don't lose faith." Pharynx said.

"...Heh. Your right. Maybe Rarity wasn't the right girl for me." Spike said. "Well, I suppose I'll just go somewhere else for the night." Spike said and left.

"...So, did you really just do that?" A female voice said. Looking up at a cloud, Pharynx spotted Rainbow Dash looking down on him.

"...How much of that did you just hear?" Phayrnx asked.

"All of it. Because I was napping up here. Also, you totally just did a loyalty move. You know, for being a changeling, you can be really loyal, you know that?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Remember, I was in the soldier division. Part of that is loyalty." Pharynx said.

"Oh come off it. I know stubbornness when I hear it. Don't try and play dumb." Rainbow Dash said.

"...You're really something else, aren't you Dash?" Pharynx asked.

"Please, call me Rainbow. All my friends do." Rainbow Dash said.

Unbeknownst even to myself, there had been a female orange drake that had also heard that exchange.

"Oh? What's this?" The young dragoness asked. "A young drake? Around my age? And he's available?" She added. "Well I can't wait to get to know this guy. Who knows? He might just be good enough for me~" The currently unnamed dragoness finished.

I know I skipped over Equestria Girls, but for all of them, there's really not much I can do. Except maybe remove the romance with human Flash, which I know is a thing for the first movie, but considering the second one...yeah...why did they even bother making that a plot point of the first Equestria Girls movie if they were just going to throw it out after the second one? At least with the "When Friendship Shimmers" universe, I made will make it a point that the same Flash will be following Twilight to the pony world and at least then the romance will make sense.
