Ch.6

Matt paced back and forth in the hosipital. It had been days since Tom got hit by the tree. He had been in real bad shape. The doctor said that his back was broken, his chest was caved in, his skull was almost split in half, and two messed up legs. But with magic though, Tom was fixed up as good as new. Matt was pacing because he was waiting for his friend to wake.

After the doctors had helped him they said he would need time to rest and he hadn't opened his eyes yet. Matt stopped his pacing when he saw the 2 princesses walked up to him. “Princesses? What are you doing here?" Matt asked, confused. Both of them looked worried. Luna answered, “We hear what Tom did and how bad he was, so we came to see him as soon as we could.” Matt smiled and took the both of them in the room where they kept Tom. Applejack was sleeping in a chair by Tom's bed. She hadn't left his side since he was stable.

She was a mess, tear stains on her face and mane a wreck. Her head was on the bed, Tom's hand on top of it. The princesses and Matt smiled. Celestia used her magic to lift her up and carry her to another bed in a different room, she needed her rest. When Celestia came back she heard Tom mumble. “Fuck the police....." They all giggled. Then Luna asked the questions that both the princesses wanted to know. “Matt, why did Tom save them? He had to know that he was probably going to die." Matt sighed and then had a small smile. “Slap your shit, Mickey mouse!" “Tom’s done something let this before." He told them. “A little girl ran out in front of a car. Tom had gotten her out of the way and the car smacked into him, he was in the hospital for a month."

The princesses gasped and Matt continued, " When I asked him why he did it he laughed and said, " That kids life was worth more than mine, anyway it I would of died I would of gotten a one-way trip of paradise." ““Paradise?" Luna asked confused. “Stay away from me Miniy, you bitch, it was Mickeys fault!" “In Tom's religion there's a place called heaven and if you’re a good person, or do something like Tom did, then you would go there.” Both princesses looked concerned. “So does Tom wish to die?" Luna asked, worried. “I asked him the same thing" Tom told them” He said that no, he didn't want to die; he just wanted to pick how he was going to die. He didn't want to die an old man or from an illness, he wanted to die saving someone. He felt that it would be a good death."

The princesses looked Tom over. “When I first saw Tom, I would never think of him as so selfless." Celestia confessed. Matt shrugged. “He may be a jerk and a grouch something, but Tom is one of the best people I know. But when he does wake up there’s going to be a problem. ““What’s that Matt?" Tom smiled. “Because Tom hates hospitals.” Then Tom said something that made them all giggle uncontrollably. “Like a mother bucking boss."

Later that day.....

To woke up to the sound of beeping. why is here beeping in Heaven? Tom smelled and the room smelled clean. No, I must be in hell and they put me in a fucking hospitial! Tom noticed that he was strapped to the bed. He looked up and noticed that a pony nurse was looking at him. " Tom? Are you awake? I need to check on you." Tom growled. " I bite." He told her and she chuckled. " Yes, Matt told us about that, and about how you hate hopsitials. Thats why your strapped down. He told us that as soon as you woke up that you would try to leave. You will leave, but in a couple of days."

" I will eat you."

" Not if you can't get out of those restraints."

" How do you know I don't have some crazy powers? I could turn you inside you."

The nurse walked up to him and hit him on the nose. Tom tried to move as she pulled out a huge needle and got closer to him. " You wouldn't do that would you? pointy wouldn't like that." She wishipered in his ear, Tom growled " That hat makes you look fa- Ow ! Fuck you!"

" What did you say?"

"......."

Tom tried to break the bonds but when he couldn't he settled on giving her a death stare at the whole time. When she left Tom tired to get out of the bed. Then he heard a knock on the door. " If your doctor you and Mr. Pointy can piss off!" He told the knocker. The door opened and he saw Applebloom, Spike, and about 20 other fillies walk into the room. Applebloom and Spike jumped on the bed and hugged him. " Thank ya fer saving us Tom." Applebloom told her as she cryed. Spike was crying too. Tom smiled. " Kids, take these straps you I can hug you back."

They did and he hugged both of the crying kids. He looked at the other Childern. " Who are you?" They all smiled and a orange pegasus said. " We're here to thank you for saving our friends!" " Thank you!" They said all at the same time. Tom smiled," Christ, are you kids cute. It was nothing!"  Applebloom and Spike had calmed down. Trying to make them feel better he told them one of this favorite stories. " Hey kids, do ya want to hear a story?" They all nodded and Tom grinned. " Alright, Once apon a time......"

Matt, Applejack, and Twilight were walking back to the hospitial. Everyone insisted that Applejack and Matt get some sleep, so they both got a few hours and raced back. When they got to his door they heard someone talking. Opening up they saw a group of fillies and Spike intranced by the story that Tom was telling them. Spike was on top of his head and Applebloom was in his lap, and the other fillies were all sitting around him. Matt almost Awwwwed Thats really fucking cute, I wish I had a camera " .....and when the ring hit the lava Mt Doom started to erupt. Frodo and Sam ran out of the-" Tom looked up and noticed that they were there. " Alright kids, thats enough story time for now, I tell you the rest of it another day." He got a volley of Awwwws as the fillies left.

Applejack and Twilight barreled into Tom, crying and hugging him. Tom laughed and hugged them back. " Calm down girls, I'm fine!" Applejack had her head on Tom's shoulder, soaking it with her tears. " I'ah didn't like ya, was mean ta ya since ya got here and ya nearly died trying ta save my sister." She got out between sobs. Tom smiled and held them tighter and looked at Matt and frowned. " You took me to a hospitial you Wyneb cach, O you you girls have some very grabable asses. " The girls ignored him and kept crying and Matt chuckled, happy that his friend was okay. He raised an eyebrow. " Were you telling those kids the lord of the rings story?" Tom got huffy. "   Dos i chwarae efo dy nain , thats a great story! But the one I was telling was about what I did to your mother that weekend." Matt, chuckling, looked him over and noticed that he wasn't in his restraints.

" Tom, how did you get out of those restraints?" He asked and Tom chuckled. " The kids left me out for the story. Come on lets go. I'm not spending another second in this damn hospitial. O and I'm going to kick my nurses ass" Tom got up, still in his hospitial gown and carrying the 2 still crying mares and left the room. Getting yells from doctors and nurses. Matt ran out, if they tried to stop Tom he might get in a fist fight with the medical staff. He really did have so stop Tom from fightings nurse, him carrying the mares and she holding a big fucking needle.

Matt singed some papers and grabbed Toms cloths and ran after Tom, who had walked out of the hospitial. First they dropped Twilight who had calmed down. Then all three of them walked back to Sweet Apple acres, Applejack still clinging to Tom, shaking and crying. " Hey Tom." Matt said over AJ's crying. " What?" " The princesses want to commerate you for saving Applebloom and Spike. There also not going to take no for a answer." Matt laughed at Tom groaning, still not thinking that it was a big deal that he had almost died saving two kids......
