One day at the Canterlot Auction House, most of Canterlot's elite people were gathered for tonight's yearly auction of ancient relics.

"The next lot up for auction, a mid-19th century gentleman's sword, featuring unique engraved ivory handle with jewel inlay."

Among them was Rarity who got a good look at it.

"Shall we start the bidding at 50,000? Do I hear 50?"

A woman holds her number card.

"Fifty. Do I hear 55? Fifty-five. Sixty? Sixty. Sixty-five? Sixty-five. Seventy? Seventy? Do I hear 75? Seventy-Five. Going once, going twice."

"Make that a buck 50! Ha, ha, ha!" Spade crashed the party.

"Uh, sold?"

Spade grabbed the antique sword.

"Never can have too many swords, now excuse me I will be heading on.." Spade backed right into Pheonix.

"Back to the Blackgate," She crossed her arms.

"Says you, hot shot!"

Spade tried to kick her, but Pheonix dodged it, kicked right at the chest, and landed in the water.

"Never get between a collector and his prize!"

The foundation was frozen with Spade in it.

"What do you know?" Glacier asked while the sword out of Spade's hands. "A sunshade to keep me cool."

"Glacier?"

"Have an Ice evening," Glacier said then walked away.

"Son of a... I stole first!"

Glacier cracked through the window, created an ice slide, and walk on it, then Phenoix landed right in front of him.

"Spade's interest makes sense, but what's your gain?"

"There is a secret behind this one, and I intend to find out."

Glacier and Pheonix fired their beams at each other which they both missed then Pheonix draw her Flame Cresect Sword and landed a couple of hits making drop it but not before freezing the end part of it. Glacier ran to it, but Pheonix fired a small flame sphere that send him back and then broke the ice.

"It's mine!" Spade said as he tripped himself making the ice slide crack.

Glacier saw the two cubes both with the writing from the sword, he grabbed them and then smashed it so that the slide fall completely.

"Crap!"

Glacier sild on out there, while Pheonix levitated herself, as Spade used his rockets boots and landed safely.

"Where is the hell is it?" Spade said then left out there just Pheonix landed herself.

"Rarity is everyone okay?" Sunset called her.

"We're all fine darling, just some of them were spooked."

"Good, I need to check on something."

The next day at Twilight's home.

"Who can that be?" Twilight asked as someone ranged the doorbell and then walked to it.

"Twilight Sparkle? How it's been lass."

"Treasure Crown?"

"In the flesh. You're looking fine yourself. So how long has it been?"

"Seven years since I transferred to Canterlot High. What brings you to the city?"

"Historic artifacts is my game, and since I was out this way, I thought why not look at a few classmates I have before the friendship games."

"That's great."

"I had come to find out one of the only known copies of the rare book I need for my research, is said to be here."

"Some coincidental."

Meanwhile, at Glacier's lair, the frosty villain had created an exact replica of the end piece of the sword incase in ice.

"There's it is the code, the numbers leading to the biggest treasure haul of all."

...

"Map 17, Level 4, Tunnel 22," Treasure Crown said then left as he took a photo of it with dragging Twilight into it.

"Your research has taken to some places that make Rarity flip her lid," Twilight exclaimed. "So what are looking for exactly?"

"Treasure, stolen from the royal palace over a hundred years ago," He explained.

"From the Queen of England? And who stole it?" Twilight as she looks up and saw the crest. "The Shaws."

...

"Found anything inserting about why were Spade and Glacier after that sword?" Applejack and Sunset looked through books.

"It looked like the writings on it was a map of all the tunnels around Canterlot," Sunset explains.

...

"Harold Shaw stole the treasure in 1879 and smuggled it here to Canterlot."

"I have a bad feeling that certain Shaw descendant knows about this."

"Well wonder no more, Sparkle," Spade comes out of the shadows.

"Mother...." Both gasped.

"Thanks for leading me to my family fortune, but what brings you here Sparkle."

"Seeing that stolen property is returned to their rightful owners," Twilight
secretly touched the Rainboom Wave on her phone.

"Stolen-shmolen. It's in the family now, which makes it mine."

...

"Uh guys, we may have a problem," Fluttershy said as the girls got the message from Twilight.

...

"I know Twilight's reason, what's your pretty boy?" Spade asked.

"Historic artifacts are my game, Mr. Shaw. In fact, I regret to inform you that shan't be able to open the vault without my help," Treasure Crown said as Spade took the sword.

"Think I don't know to operate a family heirloom?" Spade asked as inserted the end part. "It's not just a sword it's also a key now where is the money?"

Without Spade looking, Twilight unknowingly threw a Sparkle Star that got his attention, then she and Treasure Crown close the door locking Spade in there.

"Nice going, now where we," Treasure Crown said as he shine a flashlight through the sword as got blown up. "Better to split up."

"What happening, never mind," As Twilight ran the other way. "I can't transform without Treasure and Spade knowing my identity, I hope that girls got the message.

As Twilight walked she heard footsteps.

"Uh, Spike, Rarity, Sunset, anyone there?" Twilight turned around and Glacier.

"Another treasure hunter?"

"Would you believe me, if was an ignorant high schooler?"

"Lead me to the treasure, kid."

"I know nothing about it," Twilight said then Glacier grabbed her.

"I think you do," Glacier formed a small icicle.

"Well, there was something about a lighthouse."

Later at the Lighthouse.

"If this symbol represents the lighthouse we are in, this one must be just over yonder. And there it is, the Canterlot Cathedral. The lines must interact at the treasure's location."

Twilight turned it on and the light showed the location.

"X marks the spot."

"In the middle of the Habor?" Glacier then saw Spade and Treasure on a boat.

"Thanks for marking the spot, Frosty," Spade thanked him.

"It shall be the spot of your watery grave, Spade," Glacier grimly said.

...

"Harold Shaw deliberately sank his schooner rather than be captured by American authorities and used physical landmarks to fix its location for later retrieval," Treasure Crown as they arrived.

"Harls was clever as he looked, a shame that walking snowglobe is too late to stop from reclaiming my fortune," Spade made a jump but it was too late as the lake was frozen by Glacier who trapped Twilight's feet.

As she was trying to get out, her phone came out of her pocket, and drop in the water.

"Now, they can't find me," Twilight sounded worried.

But little did she know, that the others were underwater in the Deep Sea Diver and saw her phone and went to the surface.

"I'm not much of a swimmer," Glacier went down a hole.

"No one gets between me and my fortune. No one!" Spade followed him.

"A little help here," Twilight requested then saw the submarine. "Now that's better.

Pheonix and the rest popped out, then Pheonix walked to Twilight and melted the ice on her foot.

"Are you okay?" Phoenix asked.

"I'm fine," Twilight replied.

"You two will be safe up here," Rock Roller said as the others went down.

"Treasure, are you out of your mind? It's dangerous down there," Twilight saw Treasure Crown going down there. "Did you hear what Rock Roller said and stay behind?"

"Flawless," Glacier picked up something from the treasure pile. "The Tudor Royal Diamonds. A legend made real."

"Hey, ice pop," Spade shouted then fire his flamethrower at him making him fall. "I'll never share my nest egg. Ohh, treasure!"

"Your demise may even warm my heart."

"What won't you stay the hell melted!"

Glacier did an ice blast and send Spade through a wall.

"The diamonds are mine."

"No. They're all mine, mine, mine!"

"Figures, you boys need a referee," Ice Breker said as The Rainbooms showed up.

"Go then..." As everyone readied themselves.

"...bring it."

"Glacier did ice blast that the girls and Spade dodged it, Spade fires his flamethrower at him making him roll out of the way, but not before Tornado blindsided him, and Sparkplug zapped him then the ship started to shake.

"If the ice continues to melt at this rate, the bay could collapse in us with a force of a tidal wave," Pheonix explained.

"I've come this far, that's a chance I'm willing to take," Spade said.

Then Tornado sped forward to Twilight and Treasure.

"We leave or we drown your choice," She gave him an option.

"You treasure, Frosty? Then you'll love this necklace,"

Spade wrapped his chain around him and then zapped him, then Glacier froze it. Then the water came in and two were quickly submerged right after the Rainbooms, Twilight, and Treasure escaped.

Moments later, the police arrived arresting both of them, while Spike ran to them then Twilight picked him up.

"The treasure is scattered to the depths as good as lost," Treasure said.

"Sometimes it's best to leave things in the past, and I suggest you find someone else with your treasure hunting," Twilight firmly said with Spike growling at him.
