"Dude, what the buck?!" Rainbow shouted. "You'd set off an entire avalanche for a distraction?"

"I know it's a bit cliche, but I couldn't resist. The heroes, forced to choose between the masses or the hold dear... it's classic! You decide; let hundred tons of snowfall on innocent heads or Tails?" Starline asked.

"Enough games!" Shadow exclaimed.

"Hold on!" Sonic stopped him. "You, Rainbow, and I are the only ones who can stop the avalanche-"

"Not interested."

"Go help the chateau, we'll be okay!" Tails assured him.

"You'd better," Sonic left them.

"We need to get going Shadow... and where are you going?" Rainbow asked.

"Going straight to the showdown? No matter! If beat you and Tempest Shadow, I can do it again!"

"You didn't beat me... you only sealed your fate."

"Son of a..." Rouge groaned as she free herself. "We don't have time for this! Cut the ropes like did, and get ready to move! Omega execute codeword: GET WHAT'S MINE!

"Codeword accepted: Intainontg auditroudy interference!"

Omega springs up beside Starline and begins to emit an alarming noise to catch the doctor off guard. This causes Starline to fall off of the rollercoaster.

"Damn it!" Shadow expresses anger at this and watches as Starline flies away using his Tricore's powers.

"Shadow," Rainbow stopped him. "I know you want to beat the guy to a pulp, you're not the only one who wants to do it. But we have more important things to do."

"Don't tell me what to do!"

"I wasn't. It's 100% percent your choice, and you're the one who'll live with it."

"Rainbow's right," Rouge agreed. "That overgrown snowfall isn't going to stop me from getting what I came for--- C'mon, fox boy!"

"Right!"

Meanwhile...

"I wish I'd known I's be fighting a Giant Robo-Bear today I would wear my good bots!" Amy exclaimed as she and Applejack continue to fight the Snowy.

"Rarity. how are you, Twilight and Gemerl doing?" Applejack asked.

"We're doing fine!" Rarity said as she bucked a Crabmeat and Twilight blasted a Beebot.

"Holding position!"

"Gemerl, please retreat you're hurting yourself!" Cream pleaded.

"I will protect you... no matter the cost!"

"Ms. Belle, how much longer?" Fluttershy asked.

"The last lock is a real humdinger... gimme a minute or two!" Belle exclaimed as she undo the last lock.

"I know it's scary to fight, but my friends are in lots of trouble right when we get you all out you help me them safe?" Cream asked the imprisoned Chao's help.

After the Chao exchange looks with each other, Clutch's Chao shakes hands with Cheese in determination to help out.

A Motobug rammed into Gemerl who then fall right into Rarity.

"Gemerl! Rarity!" Amy exclaimed, allowing the Snowy to hit her.

"Done! Didn't stand a chance!" Belle finally removes the lock on the cage freeing the Chao.

"Thank you! Now then charge!" Pinkie exclaimed as the Chao flew out and attack the Badniks. As they do this, Cream runs to the side of Gemerl who claims that he must protect Cream.

The young rabbit tells him that he did not have to be perfect because she would be there to help, and they will both do their best to protect each other. Hearing this, Gemerl thanks Cream. Amy wishes to take a breather from fighting the Snowy, only for several Chao to step in and hold the Badnik back. Gemerl flies in and holds down one of the Snowy's arms, allowing Amy to jump into the air and smash its processing core in its head with her hammer. With the threat neutralized, Amy says that she had not done that much cardio in a while, due to her being stuck behind a desk. Cream congratulates all the Chao for their work.

Suddenly, Rouge and Tails burst through the roof.

"What in tarnation?" Applejack asked.

"Sorry to drop in unannounced but.." Rouge started.

"Grab those E-100 series parts quick-- People are in danger!" Tails finished warning everyone about the avalanche.

Outside

"I'm usually running away from these things not trying to stop them!" Sonic arrived. "How am I gonna handle this?"

"It's a good thing you're not alone!" Rainbow and Shadow caught with up him.

"You guys showed!"

"Consider this a debt repaid... for Sunset City," Shadow said.

"You got an idea?" Rainbow asked.

"You bet, follow my lead!"

The hedgehogs knock down several trees with their Spin Attacks, which Rainbow buck them all fall into the path of the avalanche. The avalanche crashes into the trees, seemingly stopped, but it instead breaks the trees and rushes right past. Sonic, Rainbow, and Shadow chase after it.

Back at the chateau

"An avalanche is headed toward us, you need to get all the guests to safety," Twilight warns Omochao about the incoming avalanche

"In the event of an emergency, we have an official warning system in place, If something were wrong I'm sure-"

"Get these people and the ponies to the exit," Applejack came in. "Or I'll make some with hooves, capiche?"

"In that case... Attention everyone! We have just received a warning of impending danger to the chateau. Please proceed to the exits and concrete in the safe zone."

"Give them a little encouragement," Rouge suggested.

"Ackonwoledge: Rasing volume. Run pitiful tourists or face certain doom!" Omega shouted making everyone pick up the pace.

"We should get going too," Rarity suggested.

"No..." Starline blocked them. "You're not going anywhere. It's been a long day, so make it simple, all I need is Miss Sparkle and Mr. Prowler there. Hand her over and let you go. Deal?"

"Dream on, asshole!" Amy and Pinkie exclaimed.

"You're not taking our friends, you ruffian!" Rarity exclaimed.

"I'm not pleased with your shenanigans, bucko!" Applejack added as charged right at him.

"Who is that guy?" Belle asked as Pinkie hoofed punching him and Rarity followed with a Magic blast.

"Dr. Starline, an Eggman wannabe," Twilight said as Amy hit him with her hammer.

"That doesn't look like a wannabe to me."

"Trust me, when Applejack made up her mind, nothing can stop her!" Flurry Heart exclaimed.

"You're going to have a lot of time to think about what you did, in prison!" Applejack bucked him in the ribs and the girls kept up the pressure.

"Fine!" Starline uses Tricore's speed mode to run away from them and directly at Twilight and pull her tail. "Time to go, princess."

"I don't think so, Starline!" Twilight smirked as she used her magic to pull Belle's tail to trigger her quick kick.

"What in the world..." As Starline got kicked by Belle's foot. "Oh, come on what's even was that?! Wait, what is that sound?"

"Everyone run!" Pinkie exclaimed as her Pinkie Sense went off.

"Oh, son of a...." Starline was too slow to react and was consumed by the avalanche.

Much Later...

"No sign of the boys or Rainbow Dash!" Rouge said getting a bird's eye view.

"Relax, Rouge, they'll show up eventually," Pinkie said as if on cue Sonic, Rainbow, and Shadow popped out of the ground.

"Well, I'll be damned."

"Needless to say, I knew that would happen," Pinkie said.

"Is everything okay?" Rainbow as Fluttershy hugged her tight.

"It's okay! the guest got out in time!" Twilight said.

"So we wasted our time," Shadow said.

"Starline got hit, at least. That help."

"What do you know, the puppetry girl stuck around," Sonic saw Belle along with Gemerl.

"She did marvelously!" Rarity exclaimed, "She got the last hit on vile brute, and helped save the Chao."

"Not bad," Sonic was impressed. "Thanks for helping out! Sorry I was kind of rough on you before..."

"Speaking of, Twilight and I could use some help at my workshop if you would... what do you think?"

"Yes! Absuoulety!"

Back at the workshop, while Cream, Fluttershy, and Pinkie spend time with the free Chao, Tails, and Belle put the finishing touches on Omega's repaired body. Tails suggest that the robot take a "test drive" by sparring with a repaired Gemerl. Omega accepts this suggestion but says that he cannot guarantee Gemerl's welfare after completing the test. Gemerl replies that while he is designed as a learning robot, he is also capable of teaching Omega a lesson. Vanilla arrives at the workshop to pick up Cream and asks how the trip was. Cream tells her that it was amazing, revealing all that had happened over the few days. Vanilla smirks at Amy and Rouge, saying that it sounded very exciting. Amy states that it was exciting but safe, and states that it was Rouge's plan. However, Amy soon realizes that Rouge had left, causing her to scream out her name.

"I had enough excitement for one day," Rainbow as her pet tortoise Tank and Rainbow-style Chao were on her back.

"Things didn't go as planned, but that's not what matters. Thanks for the help Shadow."

"Don't mention it," Shadow replied.

"For sure, dude."

In Ponyville, Twilight, Spike, Rarity, Starlight, and Applejack are in the Ponyville spa. The mares were getting hooficures, while Spike was getting a massage not done by Bulk Biceps.

"After all this, I need some downtime," Rarity said.

"We all do, but I still wonder about Belle?" Twilight said.

"What in Equestria makes you say that?" Applejack asked.

"Well, the whole reason why me, Rainbow, and Pinkie came along with Sonic and Tails was to a cipher so Tails could decode the files. But for what reason, Belle was able to read it word for word, only Eggman and creations that he made like Orbot could read it. I'm not mad with her I just wish she is a bit more honest with us."

"I hear ya," Applejack agreed. "But if Eggman didn't create her, who did?"

"And more importantly, why would Starline want you and Tails, and what's his next plan?" Starlight wondered.

Far away at Starline's base.

"What a disaster, would it hurt them to go along with the plan for once?" said a stressed Starline. "It will take weeks for my bill to go back to normal although I suppose it's all for naught."

"The complete specimen would be nice, but this should do nicely," Starline got ahold of Tails' fur and Twilight's hair.

Next time Tangle and Lyra make their return as the villains prepares for a Test Run.
