"Huh? What's that?" Adagio asked look at the screen seeing a Pokémon using Flare Blitz.

"Amazing, it appears to be Blaziken's Mega Evolution," James said.

"Mega Evolution? It look mega super strong!" Aria exclaimed.

"To refresh our collective minds, our plan is to make Meowth Mega Evolve and then catch Pikachu."

"Woobuffet!"

"Yeah, but is that even possible?" Meowth asked.

"I agree," Sonata and Duke chimed as well.

"But luckily, I've discovered that Professor Sycamore is the leading expert," Clyde said. "So, all we do is we steal his data and program said data into our database."

"Dig, now I understand why brought that monstrosity with us," Meowth asked seeing something cloaked over.

"Mega Evolution makes the Mega Meowth. Mega Meowth makes the Mega Team Rocket. Mega Team Rocket makes the Mega work it's own!" James ranted.

"Come again?" Sonata asked.

"No need! It's Mega-mania!"

"So you're all traveling together now. eh?" Sycamore asked. "Sounds like a great plan."

"Thanks," Ash replied.

"Pika!"

"Professor, here," Serena showed him a basket. "I baked delicious macarons for everyone."

"Did someone said macarons!? I love them!" said a voice who appeared out of nowhere making everyone jumped back at the sight of a girl with frizzy hair popping out from one of the lockers. As she spoke in a really fast and excited voice.

The pink girl gasped loud and long before shaking everyone's hand. " Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie, party planer master!"

"Nice to meet you!" Zane said feeling a little freaked out.

"Apart from that," Rarity refocused the conservation. "I say let have some tea with it."

"I still have a lot of work to do so I'll have mine a bit later," Sycamore said.

"Will let us see what your working on?" Twilight asked.

"Of course," Sycamore replied. "Make yourself at home."

Very Much Later

"Everyone, tea is ready," Starlight asked.

"Okay, everybody let's dig in!" Serena said.

"What happen to the macarons?" Twilight asked as they disappeared.

"They were just a moment ago," Serena stated.

Pinkie's Pokéball pooped a Sandile who then used used Rock Blast on a Pokémon who had the sandwich cookies.

"Chespin!" Starlight exclaimed. "Not this again, sneaking outside so you can eat!"

"So that's Chespin?" Twilight asked.

"Yep," Starlight repiled.

"Like, Froakie and Fennekin, Chespin is Grass-Type Pokémon for new trainers," Zane explains.

"So it's a Grass Type," Twilight pulled her Pokédex.

Chespin, The Spiny Nut Pokemon. Chespin can flex the soft spikes on its head making so stiff and sharp they can even pierce through stone.

"Pierce through stone!?" Twilight exclaimed.

"Pika!"

"Che!"

"It's so cute," Bonnie said.

"If wanted some you could have just said so," Clemont approached it. "Why do you share?"

Chespin poke Clemont's hand then left with literally a mouthful of macrons.

"Sorry about that," Starlight apologized. "That one is bit of a prankster."

"I got an idea," Serena said. "Sunset, Bonnie, Rarity let's go see what the professor up to!"

"Yeah! Let's go!" Bonnie agree.

Just outside, Team Rocket's van pulled up.

"Target confirmed." James said looking at the professor. "Adagio, Aria are you in position?"

"We're ready!" Adagio said.

"How's everyone doing today?" Sycamore asked the Pokémon.

"Okay Mewoth," Aria said as she grabbed Croagunk's Pokéball and Adagio's armed Staraptor's Pokéball. "Are you ready to go through with this?"

"I ready to rock," Mewoth repiled.

"Then let's," James back the truck into the greenhouse. Making everyone jumped up.

"Well, if isn't the good professor," Aria said.

"What are you doing here?" The Professor asked.

"See, Team Rocket needs to borrow you for a bit if you don't mind," Meowth said.

"Your that talking Meowth!"

"And your toast!" Adagio said. "Use Steel Wing!

"Brick Break!" Aria shouted.

Both Croagunk and Staraptor attacks hit the professor allowing Duke to tie him up.

"What is this all about? You keep your hands off the Pokémon!"

"Please, your the one we got!" Duke said.

"In you go!" Aria and Mewoth said. "James, we got the doc, let's move it!"

As Meowth, Aria. Adagio, and Duke got in the truck, Sunset. Rarity, Serena and Bonnie saw them and follow them.

"What was that!?" Clemont asked, surprised.

Twilight, Jaden and Rainbow got up as they ran the greenhouse.

"I'm going to a take a look!" Twilight called.

"Us too!" Rainbow and Jaden pitch in!

As, they ran to the greenhouse , they saw truck with R shape sign leaving.

"It's Team Rocket!" Jaden said.

Just then Jaden's Lilligant came out tugged his hand as she pointed to at the back!

"What is it?" Jaden asked Lilligant then gasped. "Serena!? Bonnie!? Sunset!? Rarity!? We got to after them!"

"Good idea," Twilight said. "Flygon, come on out!"

"Swellow, you too!" Rainbow said.

Both Swellow and Flygon appeered.

"We need you guys to follow that truck!" As Twilight and Rainbow got on Flygon's back. "Swellow, let the others know what happen."

"Swell!"

Flygon flew after them.

Chespin saw the truck and ran after them but tripped.

"Chespin!" Ash called running to it!

"Where is everyone?" Applejack asked.

"Swell!" Swellow appeared along with Jaden,

"Jaden!" Fluttershy said. "What happened?"

"Team Rocket happened!" Jaden explained. "They grab the professor, Serena and the others tried to save him but the back of the truck shut itself, Twilight and Rainbow have gone after it!"

"Them varmints again" Applejack groaned. "Don't they every learned."

"They never do," Jaden stated.

Later...

Both Twilight and Rainbow managed to follow Team Rocket an abandoned building.

"Thank you, now get some rest," Twilight called back her Flygon.

"Back so soon," Clyde saw them along with the others. "I assuming you got the professor."

"No muss, no fuss!" James sneered as Rainbow and Twilight sneak up from behind.

Adagio and Duke open the doors only see the Professor, Serena, Bonnie, Rarity and Sunset in the back.

"How did they get in here!?" Adagio snapped.

"This isn't your truck!" Duke scowled.

Then Serena and Bonnie mock Team's Rocket motto but Aria was very ticked off.

"Twerp thieves!" Aria threw out Simisear's Pokéball. "Use, Fire Punch!"

Simisear knocked the girls out cold with a fiery fist allowing Jessie and James to tie them up quickly.

"Well they are right about one thing," Twilight said.

"What's that?" Rainbow asked.

"This a pain..." Twilight grumbled.

Once the girls came out, Meowth joined the others.

"Look pal, all we want is your Mega Evolution secret! Spill the beans and we'll let you guys go!" Meowth said.

"And if we were to say no," Sunset asked.

"What to be a dope and say no..." Meowth and the others grinned as pulled out a piece of glass and to started to scratch it making a terrible noise. "So start quacking!"

The terrible reached everyone's ears as Rainbow and Twilight covered their ears.

"We got no choice," Rainbow said as she got Jolteon's Pokéball. "Come out, and use Thunderbolt!"

Jolteon prepared to Thunderbolt just as the Professor gave up.

"Stop! Alright, you win!" The screeching came to a stop. "The data is in my pocket!"

"In here-Owie!" Sonata started then got shocked by the Thunderbolt.

"What was that!?" Duke exclaimed. "Could that be Pikachu?"

"Nope!" Sonata said. "That pack quite a punch, but normally it's hit me right here." She pointed to her lower back!"

"If it's not the Twerp's Pikachu!" Aria thought about it. "It must be Rainbow-hair Twerpette or Bashful one!"

"Aria's right," James agreed. "They might be planning a sneak attack so keep your eyes peeled!"

"Roger!" Jessie agreed as Sonata continued to dig through the coat pocket and found something.

"Oh goody, I found a memory card!" Sonata giggled.

Moments Later, Team Rocket took their captives into the building, and Ash and the others arrived.

"What the heck took you guys so long?" Rainbow snapped.

"Sorry, for the holdup," Ash whispered. "Is this where Team Rocket hiding out."

"Look like it," Applejack said looking through what they were up to.

Inside...

"What are you doing!?" Bonnie snapped at them.

"Cork with the whining until our mission is complete!" Adagio scolded her.

Unknown to the gang, Chespin grinned as it saw the macron basket.

"What do you think they're doing now?" Bonnie asked the Professor.

"They're probably going to use the data, for no good," He guessed.

"Then would let those ruffians take the memory card?' Rarity asked.

"I preferred not to but keeping you come first!" Sycamore answered.

"And in." Clyde chuckled as he inserted the memory card.

"After all that, do you think this will work?" Aria asked.

"Of course! We simply the Mega Evolve data in the weapons program and then we'll be ready to go! Downloading!"

"This gig is pumping me up big time!" Meowth smirked.

"We've got to get them all out of there!" Ash exclaimed.

"Pika!"

"Wait! We can rush in there!" Clemont said. "We need a plan!"

Meanwhile, Chespin climbs up to the macaron box only to crash into empty cans.

"It's Chespin!" The girls and the Professor called out.

Chespin chuckled as Jaden. Twilight and Rainbow facepalmed.

"So much for a subtle approached," Applejack groaned.

"Now that I think of it, rushing them out of there is a good idea!" Clemont agreed.

"Right!" Applejack said.

"We're going get you out of here!" Zane yelled.

"Well well!" Adagio sneered. "Why go chasing after you when you're chasing us!"

"Let our friends go, you jerks!" Pinkie demanded.

"Prepare for your trouble half right,"

"That is our name but your friends are stuck tight,"

"To protect the world from devastation,"

"To untie all people within our nation,"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love,"

"To extend to the stars above,"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare for a one Mega Evolve fight!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

"That's how it's done," James smirked.

"Serena? Sunset? Rarity? are you okay?" Ash asked.

The bad guys turned in surprise that their motto was completely ignored!

"We're fine..." The ladies assured.

"Did Team Rocket hurt you?" Clemont asked

"I'm fine! Don't worry!" Bonnie assured.

"Could unite you me too?" Sycamore asked.

"Sure thing, Professor!" Applejack as she began to untie.

While they doing this, Team Rocket was outraged at this.

"We give our totally awesome motto and you guys use the brush off!" Sonata complains about being frustrated.

"Okay! Let's all get out of here!" Ash called freeing them.

"That's NOT going to happen!" Aria shrieked angrily. starling the group then the laptop ding.

"The mega software is ready to roll, folks!" Meowth reminded.

"Sweet!" Clyde slid over ad got to work! "Now will catch Pokémon modern Mega Evolution way! Ready Meowth?"

"Thought you never ask!" Meowth sneered as ran to the hidden machine then it started to glow!

"What's that?" Jaden asked.

"You see very soon, With the data secret weapon, it's Mega Evolution X2!" James declared.

"Or, I call it the Mega Mega Meowth machine!" Clyde was present as made the finishing touches. "Activating program!"

"What kind of machine is it?" Clemont asked.

The tarp flew off, revealing a machine that look like Meowth but ten times bigger!

"Rock and Roll!" Meowth said in the cockpit as the robot started to move.

"Oh, my marvelous!" Sycamore complimented.

"Impressive," Twilight did the same.

"I know they're the enemy but that is a super cool invention!" Clemont starstrucked.

"Not the best time for you three to be impressed!" Jaden exclaimed.

"My bad," The three of them sighed.

"Let's get out of here!" Serena shouted.

"Come on guys!" Ash called. With that everyone ran outside the building as the robot rumbled after them, as they run, Chespin and Sandile tripped.

"Chespin, no!" Clemont yelled.

"Don't worry, I'm coming!" Pinkie yelled.

Both ran toward and dives towards them getting the Pokémon out of danger then hid behind a concrete wall.

"Talk about a close call!" Pinkie exclaimed. "Are you two okay?"

"Sand!"

"Pin!"

"Good, We gotta help them!" Clemont said.

Meanwhile, Twilight, Jaden, and Zane got out their Pokémon and joined Pikachu, and faced down the Mewoth Bot!

"Operation Pokémon steal is a go!" Meowth cackled.

"Alright, Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

"Liiligant, Solar Blade!"

"Espeon, Psybeam!"

"Totodile, Ice Fang!"

Both Pikachu and Espeon send their attack as it was suddenly absorbed by the charm and sent right back at them!

"Pikachu!" Ash gritted his teeth.

"Espeon!" Twilight gasped.

But Lilligant's Solar Blade and Totodile's Ice Fang made contact but it still standing!

"This machine not only deflects your attack and sends them back with full power it can withstand physical attacks as well not even move as Giga Impact can dent it!" Clyde explained.

"Giving us the upper hand!" Aria grinned.

"No way!" Clemont exclaimed. "There gotta be something we can do."

Chespin remembered something and urged Pinkie and Clemont to follow him. The Spiny nut Pokémon show them a cable on the back of the robot!

"Please you guys hang in there!" Fluttershy said being concerned for the two.

"Now let's make not catching Pikachu by hand a thing in the past!" James declared.

"Talk about a Mega-Mega blast!" Duke exclaimed.

"This one for the boss! We'll hand the powerful Pikachu of all time!" Meowth cackled.

The robot prepared to grab them but it stop completely.

"Now what's wrong?" Then the power went out. "Where's the juice?"

"Could be a blackout?" Jessie asked.

"Look that way!" Adagio agreed.

"Look like we pulled the plug you hunk of junk!" Pinkie grabbed everyone's attention.

Everyone turned to see Pinkie, Clemont, and the Pokémon holding the electric plug that the robot powered.

The robot's mouth opens up with Meowth in the cockpit.

"How do I fix this thing!" Meowth exclaimed.

"Connecting it to the core!" Clyde ran over and told him,

"10-4! Back up power your on! Linking to the main engine now!"

The robot was back online!

"I'll say one thing! They came prepared!" Clemont said.

"Don't worry we can do this!" Pinkie reassured. "Now Sandile use Rock Blast!"

"Right, Pinkie. Chespin, Pin Missile!"

Both Pokémon fired their attacks but the robot was still standing.

"No use, it's not working!" Zane said.

"Use Bite!"

"Tackle!"

Both Chespin and Sandile got up close and personal.

"It's too strong," Rarity exclaimed.

"Don't be so sure!" Pinkie said.

Despite it, Both Chespin and Sandile continued to attack it.

"Pika!"

"Lil!"

"Dile!"

"Good idea! All four of you!" Ash called.

"Pikachu, Quick Attack!

"Lilligant, Solar Blade!"

"Totodile, Ice Fang!"

All four Pokémon attack the robot again but to no avail.

"Keep it Twerp Pokémon!" Meowth laugh then out of now A Flare Blitz did massive damage. "What the heck!"

"No way that Blazkin's Mega Evolve form!" Zane exclaimed.

"Oy vey!" Meowth worried as Team Rocket stammered in fear!

"Use Flamethrower!" The Man in the Blazkien Mask shouted.

Mega Blaziken use a Flamethrower and scorched it!

"It's getting warm here!"

The robot was completely burned covered in black soot and the core exposed.

"It's been charbroiled!" Jessie exclaimed.

"What happened!?" Aria asked.

"Both sides were Mega Evolve but the machine got roasted in one shot!" James exclaimed.

"Now, Pikachu, Electro Ball!"

"I'm sure your Pin Missie will work now!"

Both the Electro Ball and the Pin Missie hit the core and then glowed red.

"Uh, James why is it glowing?" Duke asked,

"The Mega-Mega Meowth Power Core took a direct hit! Is that the sound of impending doom!?" James explained.

"If so, that you know what coming..." Sonata sheepishly said then the machine exploded and send Team Rocket flying.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket disappeared out of sight!

"And don't come back!" Jaden shouted.

Very Much Later...

"Thank you so much for your help today," Sycamore thanked them. "Because of you I'm free again."

"Yeah but still, your research lab's messed up again," Twilight pointed out.

"Not to worry, I'll have it all fixed by the time you visit again,"

"Uh, big brother," Bonnie tugged Clemont's shoulder.

"Yeah, is something wrong?" Clemomt asked.

"Those two have been watching us," Bonnie pointed to Chespin and a Cottonee.

"Clemont, I think that those two want to come along," Rarity implied. "Is that right?"

Both of them nodded.

"Are you okay with it Professor?" Rarity asked.

"Sure I'm okay with it," Sycamore assured. "It's what they want."

Clemont grabbed Chespin's Pokéball and Rarity used a Quick Pokéball and Cottonnee was caught.

"Well that was simple," Serena said. "Don't you have to battle it?"

"Normally yes but sometimes all have to do is ask," Twilight asked.

"Now, off to Cyllage City!" Ash exclaimed as everyone started to run with Clemont trying to keep up.
