"Here we are. they already, Fennekin," Serena said to her Pokémon.

"Ooh, what you got there?" Pinkie asked as she, Ash, and Sunset walked over.

"These are traditional Pokémon sweet treats they're called PokéPuffs," Serena replied.

"PokéPuffs. huh?" Ash asked.

"Pika!"

"Do you want one, Pikachu?"

"Pika Pika!"

Then Serena handed two PokéPuffs to Pikachu and Fennekin.

"Here you go."

"Can people eat them too, right?" Ash asked before eating one.

"Uh, are you okay?" Pinkie asked as the rest of the group showed up.

"They're great! That's the yummiest thing I've ever eaten in my life!"

"For a minute I was about to have a heart attack," Rarity sighed as Zane's Totodile started to drool.

"I'm guessing you want one, right, Totodile?" Zane asked then tried to hand it one before being carried by a Psychic that was in the possession of a Medicham.

"What?" All of them were baffled.

The Medicham use Psychic on the PokéPuffs that Ash had and ate the PokePuff

"That was unexpected," Jaden said then scan it.

Medicham. Meditate Pokémon. It elegantly avoids attacks with dance-like steps, then launches a devastating blow in the same motion.

"So that means it's a Psychic Type?" Applejack asked with Roggernola by her side.

"Sorry about that," Two trainers ran over to them. "Medicharm has always been a sucker for sweets."

"It's okay. who are you two?" Ash asked.

"I'm Lyra."

"I'm Sweetie Drops but everyone calls me Bon-Bon. And what're your names?"

"I'm Ash and this Pikachu."

"Pika!"

"Jaden."

"Serena and this is Fennekin."

"Zane."

"Bonnie and this is Dedenne as well as my brother."

"I'm Clemont nice to meet you."

"Twilight."

"Rainbow."

"Applejack."

"Sunset."

"Rarity."

"Fluttershy."

"Nice... Sorry, if Lyra's Medicham ate some of your PokéPufs. how would you like to some of my?" Bon-Bon asked.

"Yes, please. I want one."

"I do, too." Bonnie came in.

"Thanks, but I'll pass."

"Here you go," She handed them her PokéPuffs.

"Pika!"

"Dedenne!"

"Totodile!"

"I want to try that," Pinkie said grabbing the red PokéPuff and then eating it.

"Wait that's a..."

"AHH!" Pinkie burst into flames. "My mouth's on fire!"

"That was meant for Fire-Types. They are some PokéPuff that are not for people."

"Now you tell me," Pinkie said while having a burnt tongue.

"Hate to say, it's true, all PokéPuffs are baked with particular Pokémon in mind."

"I make them like that too."

"Of course, it is the basics of PokéPuffs."

Both Serena and Bon-Bon glared at each other.

"Calm down, you too," Clemont separate them. "There's no reason to be mad."

"I got an idea, why not have a bake-off?" Rainbow asked. "There's a PokéPuff contest. The First Round is today and the final round is tomorrow."

"That's a great idea!" Twilight like it.

"Esp!"

"That's a first for me about a PokéPuff contest," Jaden admitted.

"That's the reason Lyra and I came here in the first place. I'm competing."

"So am I, we'll see who's the better chef," Serena said.

"It sounds fun, count me in!" Pinkie said.

Moments later...

Now the preliminary round of the PokéPuff is under is getting underway. Contestants will compete using their original PokéPuff recipes. I can hardly wait to see all the PokéPuffs.

Serena, Bon-Bon, and Pinkie Pie were hard at work making their recipes including a disguise Team Rocket.

"Ta-da! The Poképuff base layers are done," Pinkie told her Pokémon. "Now we can add the frosting. Wigglytuff?"

"Wigglytuff!"

Wigglytuff covers the first row with chocolate and the second row with vanilla.

With Serena...

"And for the final touch," Serena said as she and Fennekin place the toppings. "Ta-da! A PokéPuff topped with a small twig for Fennekin."

"Fenne!"

Alright, ladies and gentlemen, we're now halfway through the preliminary round's allotted time and all of them are feverishly baking away. I'm seeing quite an amazing array of PokéPuffs. There's a lot of skill on display year.

Then the Emcee saw Team Rocket's oven burst out in smoke.

Of course, there's always an exception or two.

"This ain't gonna end well," Aria said while she, Adagio, Sonata, and Clyde watch from the stands.

It's time to announce the contestants who will move on to the final round.

"Knocked out of the race, at the starting gate," Meowth said in defeat.

"In my defense, cooking Poké Puffs was still new to me," Duke said.

"And what's even sourer, we can't even execute our brilliant plan to catch every Pokémon within the area after winning the grand prize," James said.

"Yeah, we blew it, but good," Duke added.

"To think I was the Queen. The top Poké Puff chef for all of Team Rocket."

"Uh, Jess, what the heck are you talking about?"

"Beats the hat off of me."

"I'm clueless as you two."

"When it came to Poké Puffs, I was undefeated! The title of Poké Puff will be mine forever!"

"I pretty good idea where this going."

"Wobbuffet!" Woobuffet handed Jessie a Poké Puff.

"If I can't make my Poké Puffs, no one can."

"Do you have any berries left?" Serena asked the shopkeep.

"Sorry, I'm completely sold out."

"What will I do?"

"I'm afraid you'll have to go to another shop."

"How can I bake Poké Puffs if I can't find the right ingredients? "

Much later...

"This is nuts, almost every stand is out of berries," Rainbow said.

"I wonder if this was done on purpose," Sunset thought

"Maybe, the forest has berries," Bonnie suggested.

"Great idea, Bonnie, some good ol' berry hunting never fails," Applejack agreed.

"Let's all go to the forest and look," Ash said.

"Pikachu!"

"I don't see any," Ash said.

"How can that be?" Lyra asked as Sunset picked up a twig.

"Whatever happen here, this wasn't caused by natural causes," Sunset said.

"Are you sure?" Fluttershy asked.

"She's right, someone's sabotaging the contest," Zane said.

"Who would do such a bad thing?" Bonnie pouted.

"Dednne!"

"I wonder..."

"I'll go see can find something." Serena and Fennekin headed deep into the forest.

"So any idea, on how to find some berries?" Rainbow asked.

"Unless any of us, have a Slurpuff, due to the fact they keen sense of smell then I got nothing," Zane said then the group heard Serena screaming. "That's not good."

Meanwhile, Serena and Fennekin were cornered by a group of Swirlix.

"Come on! What do you want?"

"Fenn!"

"Please. Stay away!"

The wild Swirlix uses String Shot and tries to tie her up.

"Fennekin, use Scratch, quick!"

Just before Fennekin could anything, one of the Swirlix used String Shot and wrapped Fennken up then at that moment the others.

"Quick, Sneasel, use Ice Beam!" Jaden said.

Sneasel fired an icy-cold beam of energy at the Swirix forcing them to leave.

"Are you okay?" Jaden asked as the rest of them ran to her.

"Yeah, I'm fine!"

"What were they?" Ash asked as more of them showed up.

"Those were Swirlix, they only eat anything sweet."

"How dare they attack us like that? Fennekin! Use Flamethrower!

Fennekin let out an intense blast of fire at them, making the rest leave.

"Why did they attack you?" Rarity asked. "Maybe the Swirlix ate the berries?"

"I don't think so," Fluttershy shook her head. "Maybe they were mad about something else."

Then Treecko came out of Applejack's Pokéball.

"Treecko, what got you hopping about?"

"Tree!" The Wood Gecko Pokémon urged them to follow it.

"Maybe Treecko knows why the Pokémon attacked Serena," Twilight said then the group follows them to a mountain.

"It's a dead end," Rainbow said.

"How are we going to get over that?" Bonnie ask.

"I have an idea, Clemont, called Chespin out" Sunset spoke up.

"Okay. Chespin come on out!"

"Chespin!"

"And Medicham can help as well."

"Okay, Medicham."

Medicham used Psychic on Chespin and put it at the very top of the mountain.

"Okay, Chespin, use Vine Whip and lift us all there."

"Chespin!"

Chespin used Vine Whip and lifted Pikachu up.

"Pikachu!"

"Alright, it worked.

Sometime later...

"Great idea, Sunset," Rainbow said.

"You were a great help, thanks Chespin," Clemont said, returning it to its Pokéball.

"Wow, look at that," Bonnie exclaimed.

"Yeah, lots of berry trees," Bon-Bon said.

"There must be millions," Zane wondered.

"I'll make amazing Poké Puffs with these," Serena said.

"They're delicious," Ash said while eating one.

"Pika!"

"They are!?"

"Espeon!" Espeon felt something and went on ahead.

"Is something wrong?" Twilight asked.

Then from deep in the forest, a group of Swirlix along with a Drillbur were running away from something then a big machine with not-so-friendly faces showed up.

"You!" Rainbow saw Team Rocket.

"Prepare for trouble, who else would it be?"

"Make it double, the same goes for me."

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of bad cuisine."

"To extend our reach to the big berry scene!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Adagio!"

"Aria!"

"Sonata!"

"and Clyde!"

"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare for a frantic food fight!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

"Team Rocket,"

"We're taking over the berry business," Jessie said. "It's all ours as the eye can see."

"Which means your baking days are over," James said.

"And while we're at it, we'll grab all of your Pokémon and leave with a big windbag full of air," Duke said.

"Why I oughta..." Rainbow growled.

"No wonder we couldn't find a berry anywhere," Lyra said.

"And why the Swirlix were angry," Sunset added.

"Well the truth always hurts," Clyde said.

"Show them a thing or three!"

"Leave it to me!" Sonata said as pulled the lever. "Check out the Robo-Baby Buggy Berry-Robbin Swipe the Sweets and make our own Octillery Mark Three!"

"That's a bit of a mouthful," Zane said.

"On the Pokémon side thing, we'll those two first."

The bot used its vacuum and tried to suck Pikachu and Espeon.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

"Sorry, once again we are prepared for any and all of Twerp ideas."

"And for the rest,"

"Let's crank this bad boy to eleven!"

The suction became more powerful and sucked the Pokémon along with a few berries."

"Now this what I call sweet!"

"Swiming in steams of success! Yes!"

"Murkrow!"

"Hey, Clemont does their machine have any weak spots?" Applejack asked.

"Weak spot? Let's see."

"Hurry up please!" Rarity said.

"Okay. First off, it's a giant vacuum. It has to suck in air to function. I've got it, seal their suction tube. That will stop the airflow."

"Great idea! I'm going in!" Rainbow said then ran on ahead.

"Stop the twerpette in her tracks!" Jessie exclaimed

"We're cleaning up."

"You can't stop me," Rainbow jumped right at the suction tube.

"Are you crazy?!"

"Hang on! I promised to get all of you out of there!" Rainbow promised.

"She's brave," Bon-Bon said.

The machine blew out and Pokémon stop spinning.

"Now your chance, bail!"

"What happened?"

"The engine over-heated, we should attack now!"

"Good idea!" Sunset then called out Quilava. "Quilava, Fire Blast!"

"And Gardevoir used, Hyper Beam!"

Quilava and Gardevoir fired both their attacks at the engine which overheated.

"This could be a little problem."

"Little? We're going to explode!"

"Cut the small talk and do something!"

"Switching to exhaust!" The robot not only lets Rainbow go but also frees the Pokémon.

"Are you guys okay?" Fluttershy asked the Pokémon to wit they nodded.

"Great, we need your help to stop that hunk of junk!" Pinkie said.

The Swirlix agreed and use String Shot to stop Team Rocket in their tracks and the Drillbur destroyed the engine with Metal Claw."

"That's awesome."

"Why don't we help them out, Grotle," Bon-Bon called it out.

"Grotle!"

"Fennekin, Flamethrower!"

"Pikachu, use Thuderbolt!"

"Espeon, Psybeam!"

"Sneasel, Ice Beam!"

"Grotle, Enegry Ball!"

All six Pokémon fired their attacks at the bot which exploded and Team Rocket was flying.

"I still bake the best," Jessie exclaimed.

"Our goose is cooked," Sonata sighed.

"Time to cool off," Meowth added.

"THERE'S NOTHING SWEET ABOUT BLASTING OFF!"

"And..."

"...doing it..."

"Again!"

"Woobuffet!"

"Krow!"

"See you never!" Rainbow said as they cheered.

The Next Day it was the finals of Poké Puff Contest

And now we'll announce the winner of the Poké Puff Contest, presenting our head judge, Sweet Treat. Take it away.

"The Berry Buck Kids incorpted extoic flavors in their Poké Puff creating a delicacy that is comforting and innovative," He examined their table then head over to Serena's table.

"Using, a Passho Berry for her Poké Puff topping, Sereba has created a delight with flavor and a hint of heat."

Then head over to Pinkie's Table then Bon-Bon's.

"Pinkie's Poké Puff shows of how Poké Puff should be able enjoyable to both People and Pokémon and for Bon-Bon's is made with cotton candy and whipped cream and topped with Tamato Berry that will sure to please both Electic-type and Fariy-Type Pokémon are certain to love this presentation.

And the winner is...

"I'm happy to announce... it's a tie between Pinkie and Berry Buck Kids!"

"What!?" Bon-Bon and Serena gasped.

"I did it!" Pinkie cheered while her Sandile was snoring in her hair.

"I'm sorry that Serena and Bon-Bon didn't win it," Bonnie said.

"There's always next time," Jaden said then noticed something with Fluttershy. "Uh, Fluttershy, why is that Drillbur on your head."

"Oh, just yesterday, Drillbur followed me, and I caught with a Poké Ball and now Drillbur's coming with us."

"Drill!"
