"So that's the place we're going?" Rainbow asked as they look at the castle. "What is it?"

"The Battle Chateau," Serena explained.

"Battle Chateau?" Ash asked.

"I never heard of it before," Zane admitted.

"You guys are going to love it when you have a battle at battle Chauteu, the winning Trainer earns something, though I'm sure just what," Serena said.

"Now, that sound so cool," Twilight exclaimed.

"Maybe it gives you a badge," Ash thought

"Or maybe even a cake!" Bonnie chimed in. "I love cake!"

"The answer is obviously a noble Tittle, good people!" Two Trainers appeared one with Umbreon and Fletchinder.

"Umb!"

"Flec!"

"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash asked as he scanned with his Pokédex.

Fletchinder. The Ember Pokémon and the evolved form of Flecthwing. Fletchinder flies faster and faster the flames sacs in the stomach gradually heat up!

"Wait a minute the evolved form of Flecthwing."

"Seriously, a Pokédex, uh personal space."

"Sorry, about that, so what a noble title?"

"Pikachu!"

"You're not from around here, are you... Well, look drag in the cat Twilight Sparkle."

"Twilight, you know them?" Rainbow asked.

"Unfortuley yes, everyone this is Trixie," Twilight sighed. "And her assistant Harold."

"Pleasure to meet you all," Trixie said.

"So, noble title?" Ash refocused the conservation.

"Why, bother explaining it, when we can show you."

"Awesome, let's all go together it will be the perfect warm-up before I challenge the Cyallege Gym," Ash exclaimed.

"A warm-up, I wouldn't be sure of it. It may be tougher than you think."

"You'll have floor mopped."

"By the way, Ash and this is my partner Pikachu!"

"Pikachu!"

"I'm Clemont, it's a pleasure to meet you two."

"I'm Rainbow Dash."

"Zane."

"Sunset Shimmer."

"Rarity."

"Applejack."

"I'm Trixie and my partner is Umbreon."

"I'm Harlod, and mine is Flecthider."

"So, Harlod is this your first time challenging the Battle Chateau?" Sunset asked as the group arrived and entered.

"Yep, first time doing it."

"The Battle Chateau welcomes you with open arms." A maid and a butler greet them.

"So, how does it work?" Rainbow asked.

"First and foremost, the Battle Chateau refers to trainers as knights," The butler answered.

"Knights, what an appropriate title for trainers battling in a castle," Clemont chimed.

"True, then each of every knight has a noble title bestowed upon them for every victory at the Chateau, I wish you the best of luck, young Harlod in earning your noble title."

"Allow me, to show the Battle Chateau sitting room. Each time you visit you have the honor of choosing a battling adversary."

As she opens the doors, the room revealed several trainers.

"So everyone here is a knight?" Rarity asked.

"Yep, a great place to hang out, trade stories, and look for opponents."

"So you can battle who you want?" Rainbow asked.

"Not exactly," Trixie said. "You have the same noble title."

Then Swellow pecks her shoulder.

"What's up, pal?" Rainbow asked as Swellow pointed to someone climbing the walls. "What's the guy doing up there?"

"And who is he?" Applejack asked.

"Oh, yeah, his name is Axl, he always climbs walls."

"Any challenger willing to take me on," Trixie offered until a white glove touched her.

"I shall accept your challenge Lady Trixie, my name is Lady Fleu, how do you do?"

"The honor's all mine."

"I look forward to our battle."

"May Trixie and Fleu proceed to battle, all others may watch from the outside terrace."

As everyone gathers, the door opens up to be Viola which Axl, waved at her, with her waving back.

"Wait a minute that's Ash and the others," She saw them.

"This quite the atmosphere," Jaden said looking at the battlefield.

"Check out the capes, they look dashing," Rarity exclaimed as Cottnee was on her head. "Nice to see you, dear."

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, both Trixie and Fleu had their Pokéballs made contact as stand on their respective ends.

"To a good battle."

The battle of Lady Trixie and Lady Fleu is about to begin. May both battle under the code of Chivalry.

"Swanna, center stage."

"Dusknoir, out!"

"Both of them are so cute!" Bonnie exclaimed.

"A Dusknoir and a Swannna." As Applejack and Fluttershy scanned their Pokédexs with Fluttershy's having butterflies and being green.

Swanna. The White Bird Pokémon and the evolved form of Ducklett. When one of them starts to dance it alerts the others to follow suit.

Dusknoir. The Gripper Pokémon. Dusknoir it said to travel between the human and spirit worlds.

"Who you think going to win?" Zane asked Twilight.

"Not sure, but this Trixie, and knowing her, she always has a trick or two in her sleeve," Twilight replied. "Strange she didn't go with Umbreon since a Dark-Type Pokémon is effective against Ghost Pokémon."

"Now use, Aqua Jet!"

"Use, Thunder Punch!"

Swanna came right at Dusknoir at serious speed, but Dusknoir counter with an electric punch that made contact.

"What just happen?" Serena asked.

"The power of Ghost Pokémon," Rainbow said. "There always tricky being able to appear and disappear."

"Not to mention, Thunder Punch is super effective to Swanna who is Water and Flying Type," Clemont said.

But Swanna regains her surroundings and delivers the Aqua Jet to Dusknoir.

"That Aqua Jet was powerful," Pinkie exclaimed then Viola tapped on Sunset's shoulder.

"Yoohoo."

"Oh, Viola."

"Hey there, who would thought I would run in with you and the others."

"What are you doing here?"

"I love the Chateau, actually I have the noble title of Duchess. It's the female equivalent of Duke."

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Dusknoir fainted while Swanna squealed in enjoyment.

Dusknoir cannot battle, the victor is Lady Trixie and Swanna.

"Call it," Twilight said as Axl fell down. "What the what!?"

"Not again," Viola groaned.

"Note to self, never applause while climbing," Axl sleepily said. "But I couldn't help myself, it was to show my respect for a fine battle."

"But, Axl, if you felt that why didn't you come down first?"

"Because the wall refuses to let me go, the walls here are smooth. they draw me to them, you do see the delicate beauty of Chaetau's walls don't you."

"Talk about their beauty all you want, I never understand the appeal of walls."

"So you know this guy, Viola?" Twilight asked.

"His name is Axl, he's never seen a wall around he didn't love. also, he's strong." Making Ash and Pikachu intrigued.

"If not any problem, I like to battle you please," Ash requested. "So, what's your title?"

"Pika!"

"My noble title is Duke."

"Here, here, let us proceed to debut battle involving the two knights who have come here for the first time today."

"New knights?"

"Yeah, he's talking about us," Harold exclaimed.

Please give our two young knights a round of applause for their first battle.

Everyone clapped for Ash and Harold.

"So, Viola, I heard you battle against Ash."

"He's is a gutsy trainer, but so he's Pokémon. They're quite amazing. Once you see his passion and drive, I'm sure you'll agree."

Ash and Harold, whoever wins this battle will be awarded the noble title of Baron.

"Right!" Both replied.

Then let;s get underway.

"To a good battle!" Both of them said as touched their Pokéball and then went to the corner.

"Ready, Pikachu, get in there!" As his best buddy leaped into action.

"Hold up, what was in his Pokéball?" Trixie asked.

"That's Pikachu's Pokéball," Twilight explained. "He doesn't like being inside it, so it stays out."

"This is our first battle here and I want to win it you."

"Pikachu Pika!"

"And here's mine!" Harold threw out his Pokéball revealing a Torkoal

"Tor!"

"So, he's a Fire-Type user! No matter, we got this!"

"Don't count your chickens before they hatch."

Then Battle Begin

Ash vs Harold 1v1 Single Battle

"Okay, you Thunderbolt!"

"Hide in your shell, and dodge it!"

As Pikachu fired the Thunderbolt, Torkoal retracted into his shell and slid across the battlefield to avoid it.

"You're getting off that easy, Iron Tail!"

Pikachu slam the shell with Iron Tail making him spin out of control but quickly recover.

"As usual, Ash likes to start off strong and fast," Twilight mentioned.

"Now, use Shell Smash!"

Torkoal shouted as he exhausted smoke from his shell.

"What's Shell Smash?" Bonnie asked.

"It's a move that breaks Defense, but in return make his Attack go up," Rainbow said. "Not wasting any time, I see."

"Now, Flamethrower!"

Torkoal fired a blast of fire at Pikachu.

"Quick dodge, then Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu dodges the Flamethrower and used Thunderbolt which scored a direct hit.

"Impressive! But now use Blast Burn!"

"Before he has a chance. Electro Ball!"

As Coal Pokémon prepare to use Blast Burn, Pikachu fired Electro Ball that scored a direct hit, which him to fall down and fainted.

Battle over, Pikachu wins!

"Not bad Torkoal, now take a good rest," Harold return it to his Pokéball.

"Thank you, very much," Both bowed to each other.

"Bummer that I lost, but congrats."

Both of them shook hands for the excellent battle.

"A picture to mark your first victory, here," As Viola prepare to take a picture of Ash and the others without realizing the white glove was on her shoulder.

"A white glove," Pinkie gasped. "That only means someone wants to challenge you."

"I was wondering when you were going to ask? Hi, Axl."

"Duchess Viola, I like to challenge you to a battle."

"And I accept."

Very much later

"Too a good battle," Both said as they tap their Pokéballs.

"Everybody, out!" Ash and the others called further their Pokémon

"Everyone, let's cheer for Viola!"

The Chateau Pokémon Battle between Duchess Viola and Duke Axl will now commence, both only need one more victory, so whoever wins this battle will ascend to become Grand Duke or Duchess. The Highest title is possible.

"Alright, Sunskrit let's go!"

"Surskit!"

"It's Surskit!" Fluttershy exclaimed.

"Lairon, you're on!"

"Laio!" It roared proudly.

"It's huge!" Bonnie exclaimed.

"Lairon, it's Steel and Rock Type!" Rainbow said.

"It's amazing," Serena scanned it.

Lairon. The Iron Armor Pokémon. It habitually shows off its strength with the size of sparks it creates by ramming its steel body into boulders.

Begin

Duchess Viola vs Duke Axl 1vs1 Single Battle

"Now, Surskit, use Ice Beam!

Surskit froze on the battlefield and begin to skate.

"I thought you use your strategy, speed is your specialty, but I'll stop you in your tracks! Use, Rock Tomb!"

"My Surskit, won't be stopped that easily!"

Lairon created several boulders and surround the battlefield.

"What's going with that Rock Tomb?" Ash asked.

"It's controlling the boulders," Trixie said.

"Axl must train it to do that," Harold added.

"Something tells me, that Axl is no ordinary trainer," Rainbow said.

"Surskit, Bubble Beam!"

Surskit blasted the boulders and skated away but the Rock Tomb had it trapped.

"Protect!"

It created a shield avoiding the attack shocking both Lairon and Axl.

"You dodge it well."

"Now use Signal Beam!"

Surskit fired Signal Beam at Lairon.

"Use Water Pulse!"

Lairon counted with Water Pulse resulting in a standoff.

"Now get closer!"

As Surksit got closer, Lairon got faster as well.

"It getting faster!"

"Lairon is out mauvering Surskit!!"

"Your power and speed have improved."

"Your too kind."

"Ice Beam!"

Surskit fired Ice Beam as Lairon's legs stopped in it tracks.

"Jump!"

Lairon jumped above Surskit breaking free of the ice.

"What a jump!" Applejack exclaimed.

"Now Rock Tomb!"

Lairon fired Rock Tomb and completely trapped Surskit.

"It's over, Flash Cannon!"

Lairon fired Flash Cannon which scored a direct hit and after the smoke clears, Surskit was downed.

Lairon wins.

"You really well, Surskit," Viola returned it to its Pokéball. "You battle well, Axl, and your a Grand Duke now,"

"All because of Lairon's hard work. You earn it buddy."

"Impressive," Zane exclaimed. "That Rock Tomb was epic."

"Not to mention strong," Bonnie said.

"There in a league of their own," Fluttershy said.

...

"Axl?" Ash approached him.

"Yes."

"That battle was the best ever, I want to raise my tittle just I can battle you some day."

"It is a tough climb, but I'll here... So I been told that you been challenge serval gyms.

"Yeah."

"Then it's more than likely we will be battling again real soon."

"Come again?"

"I just realize, Axl is the Cyallge Gym Leader," Rainbow exclaimed making everyone gasped.

"Of course, using a Lairon means you run a Rock-Type Gym!" Clemont exclaimed.

"Uh, yeah, your excalty right and Ash I'll be looking forward to out battle."

"I can't wait."
