"Here we are guys the place I grew up," Jaden said as Ash and Pikachu looked the window. "The Kalos Region."

"Ash," An older woman named Alexa said. "You and Pikachu must be excited!"

"You have no idea," Twilight said while sighing. "He and Pikachu are like this 24/7."

"Can't you blame us?" Ash said. "We're starting a brand new adventure! Nothing is exciting to a Pokémon Trainer!"

"Pikachu!" The Electric Pokémon agreed.

"Your right about that," Jaden started to laugh a bit.

The plane landed and Ash walked out of the plane with Pikachu climbing his shoulder.

"Hey Kalos Region," Ash shouted. "Ash from Pallet Town is finally here!"

"Pikachu!" It screamed happily.

"What's with the screaming?" Jaden asked.

"Saying hi to Kalos Region," Ash explained. "And as soon as I walk down these steps, we'll finally be here!"

"Pika!" Then two Spritzee appeared flying happily.

"Wow," Ash shrieked. "Never seen those Pokémon before!"

Then he fell down the stairs. Which caused the others to run down to see if he was okay.

"Are you alright," Both Twilight and Alexa said in concern.

"Pika Pi!" his pal wondered the same thing.

"Yeah," Ash groaned. "I'm okay. Who those are Pokémon?"

"Those two are Spritzee!" Jaden said. "They're quite common around here."

"Awesome!" Ash said as he got up.

Unknown to Ash and the others, the evil organization from Kanto, Team Rocket, Jessie, James, Meowth, Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, Duke, Sonata Dusk, and Clyde were here as well.

"Typical," Adagio Dazzle said. "Twerp-like entrance."

"And with Pikachu, too!" Jessie says then she and Adagio Pokémon, Wobbuffet and Houndour came out of their Pokeballs.

"Then it's all in place," Duke added.

"Let's get to work," Clyde said then Team Rocket left.

"Wobbuffet! Houndour!" Both agreed.

Back to Ash and the others...

"First thing I wanna do is a have gym battle!" Ash said.

"Just a minute!" Alexa stopped him. "So where do you plan to go for a gym battle?"

"Oh, that easy," Ash explained. "Your younger sister's a gym leader, right? At her gym."

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but," Alexa said. "Her gym isn't here in Lumiose City. It's located in Santalune City."

"What do I do now?" Both Ash and Pikachu sighed.

"Hold on, I'll go and give her a call right away," Alexa said. "I'll see you in the lobby."

"Wait up," Jaden said. "I'm coming too."

Jaden and Sneasel caught up with Alexa, leaving the Kanto girl and the Sinnoh girl alone with each other's company.

"You know," He turns to Twilight. "I wanna see any other Pokémon around."

Ash and Twilight saw a Pokémon's shadow then turn around look up to see Pokémon up top. The Pokémon jumped from the building landed his foot on the ground and jump up at high altitude.

"Hey Pikachu, Twilight did you see that?" Ash asked.

"Yeah!" Twilight responded and Pikachu nodded.

"Oh yeah!" Ash screamed happily.

In the lobby, Jaden was waiting while Sneasel and Heilopilte were playing around than the three saw Ash and Twilight.

"Hey guys," Jaden greeted. "What's new?"

"Jaden, we just saw the coolest thing ever!" Ash said happily as he and Twilight stopped. "Where did Alexa go?"

"She's at the phone station," Jaden said.

Then the three went to her.

"Alexa!" Ash shouted.

"What's with all the excitement?" She asked.

"We just saw an amazing Pokémon!" Ash explained.

"It's was so amazing!" Twilight agreed.

"I see," Alexa said. "I guarantee you're going to meet lots of Pokémon."

"So cool," Ash smiled. "I'm just glad we're finally in this Kalos Region. I can't wait for that gym battle."

"Uh," Alexa stammered a bit. "You see, I managed to get through to that sister of mine... and she let me know she's away from her gym right now."

"She's away?" Ash shrieked. "So when is she going to be back?"

"Once my sister goes on a trip." Alexa added, "She's usually away quite a while."

"Oh, man," Twilight gave it some thought.

"Wait a sec," Jaden gasped. "Why don't to go to the gym in Lumoise City?"

"So, there a gym in this city?" Ash asked him.

"Yeah," Jaden answered while looking at his map. "At the very center, located at the Prism Tower."

"We'll just have our first battle here in Lumoise City," Ash said happily.

"Are you gonna be all right?" Alexa asked.

"Yeah, we'll be just fine," Ash replied. "Catch you later."

With that, Ash, Twilight, and Jaden say goodbyes and made their way to Prism Tower.

Moments Later...

"Here we are guys," Jaden said as they made it. "Prism Tower."

"Great let's get this show on the road," Ash said as they made it inside without realizing that three people came by.

Inside the gym,

"Oh boy, oh boy," Ash was excited. "I'm psyched."

"Is there anybody here?" Twilight wondered then a screen lit up.

Welcome to the Lumiose Gym.

"My name is Ash," Says his name. "I've come from Pallet Town in the Kanto region. I wanna have gym battle please."

"Pika," Pikachu agreed with him.

How many badges do you have?

"Badges?" Ash asked. "This is the first gym I'm challenging here, so I don't have any."

You have none!? Not a single badge!? To challenge the Lumiose Gym, you must have at least four badges. Then two electric rods appeared.

"PIka!"

"Snes!"

"Esp!"

"Hey give me a break, wait minute," Ash said while being concerned for the rods.

Please leave at once.

Without warning Ash, Twilight, Jaden, and the Pokémon got shocked then fell through the door and the group of the three saw them falling.

"Oh, no,"

"No!"

"My goodness,"

"I'm going to try to catch them,"

"I'll get Pikachu,"

"I got others," The pale yellow girl threw out a Pokeball showing a Lunatone. "Use, Psychic!"

The boy threw his backpack and popped out a massive airbag which Ash, Twilight, and Jaden landed while the little girl catch the Pikachu and fell on the airbag, and Lunatone used its Psychic Power to slowed the Sneasal and Espeon.

"Are you all right?" The boy asked them.

"Yeah, I'm okay," Ash replied.

"Thanks," Twilight added then the little girl got up.

"Take a look at this, Clemont and Fluttershy," The little girl joyfully said while holding Pikachu. "A Pikachu and what a cutie."

The little one hugged Pikachu making him uncomfortable which made him do an electric attack shocking all of them.

"Bonnie, no!" Clemont said in concern. "Are you okay?"

"Of course," Bonnie said getting up.

"I'm sorry about my sister," Clemomt said while apologizing.

"Don't worry about it," Jaden reassured him.

"Bonnie you apologize too," Clemont glared at his sister.

"I just wanted to give Pikachu a hug because it was so cute," Bonnie pouted.

"But did Pikachu like it," Clemont asked her.

"All right, I'm sorry, Pikachu," Bonnie apologized.

"Everything's okay now," Ash reassured her. "Pikachu was just a little surprised."

"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said happily.

"But I still have thanked you yet, I appreciate that you saved Pikachu."

"Pika Pika,"

"You're very welcome," Bonnie said cheerfully.

"Yeah," Jaden chimed. "That is one of the weirdest gyms I saw, sorry if I forget that you need four gym badges, Ash."

"You got kicked out, right?" Fluttershy asked.

"Right," Twilight came in. "And after coming from all this way. Some gym leader he turns out to be."

"The gym leader is really strong," Fluttershy explained. "So they asked you how many badges you have, right?"

"That's right," Ash replied. "But when I told him I didn't have. All three of us got zapped bad!"

"You don't have any badges!?" Bonnie shrieked.

"To be honest, we just arrived in the Kalos region. This first gym I've been to."

"Pardon me, but where are you guys from?" Clemont asked.

"I'm from Pallet Town in Kanto," Ash said.

"Twinleaf Town in Sinnoh," Twilight said.

"I live here in Fluerr City," Jaden said.

"And now it's time for us to introduce ourselves," Clemont started.

"My name's Clemont and this is my little sister Bonnie and this our friend Fluttershy."

"Nice to meet you," Fluttershy said.

"Nice to meet all of you," Ash said. "Clemont, Bonnie, Fluttershy."

"You and your Pikachu look like such good friends," Fluttershy mentioned.

"If you weren't Pikachu wouldn't be sitting on your shoulder like that," Bonnie mentioned.

"Well, we've known each other for a long time."

"Pikachu!"

"Pikachu was the very first pokemon I ever got!"

"Pika Pika!"

"So how, met Twilight, Jaden," Fluttershy asked.

"I met Ash during Hearthome City Tag Battle," Twilight said.

"He and battle in the second round of the Junior Cup when I went to Unova," Jaden said. "So what are you three up to?"

"Will be doing something family-friendly in the future," Bonnie answered.

"A family adventure sounds great," Ash came in. "After all, I don't have any brothers or sisters..."

"I do have a brother," Twilight mentioned. "Who's married to my former babysitter."

"But you got Pikachu, who's your special friend," Bonnie brought up.

"Bonnie's a bit too young to understand Pokémon," Clemont said. "So she's impressed when meets someone who does."

"I know just what it's like." Ash agreed. "I could hardly wait to grow up and become a Trainer."

"Believe me," Twilight added. "I've been there."

"Same here," Jaden came along.

"You guys totally understand how I feel!" Bonnie said.

"So what kind of Pokémon do you and Fluttershy have?" Jaden asked.

"Okay, here's a Pokémon that I caught recently," Clemont showing a Pokeball.

"Here's mine," Fluttershy brings out three Pokémon, a Pangoro, a Bellossom, and Lunatone. "How about you guys? "

Jaden brings out his Lilligant, Marshtomp, Magmar, and Golurk. And Twilight brings out Espeon, Flygon, and Corsola.

"What assortment," Fluttershy gasped.

"If it's problem Clemont. can I see it and then let's battle!"

Pikachu jumped off of Ash's shoulder and headed to the battlefield.

"Battle for real?" Clemont asked.

"Yeah," Ash explained. "If I can't have a Gym battle. I'd like to have my first battle in the Kalos Region with you. What do you say Clemont?"

"Let's do it," Bonnie agreed. "It'll be a great test of strength!"

"Okay," Clemont agreed. "You're on!"

Moments later both Ash and Clemont were on opposite sides of the battle with Bonnie acting Referee and Jaden, Fluttershy, and Twilight were watching.

"All right, Bunnelby, come on out, and let's have a battle." Clemont throws his Pokeball revealing Bunnebly.

"Bunnebly!"

"Awesome," Ash was starstrucked. "Never seen that Pokémon before! Pikachu let's give it our all!'

"Lots of luck to both teams!" Bonnie shouted starting the battle.

Ash vs Clemont 1v1

"Now Bunnelby," Clemont requested. "This will be our first battle! Just relax and you do great."

"Kay, Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

"Use your ears to stir up the sand."

"Pikachu unleashed a massive Thunderbolt while Bunnnebly used its ears to make a dust cloud that caught the Thunderbolt surprising Ash and Pikachu, even Twilight.

"How that even possible," Twilight asked.

"Yes," Clemony started to explain. "Bunnelby is a Normal Type but more than capable to handle Electric-type moves."

"Rule of thumb, Normal-Types are very strong," Jaden mentioned.

"Now it's our turn, Bunnelby, Dig,"

Bunnelby went underground.

"Take off don't let them know where you are,"

Pikachu started to run.

"Trying to use speed to confuse us, well it won't work, now go!"

Bunnebly popped out the ground and land a successful hit on Pikachu.

"Doesn't Ash remember that Ground-Type moves are super effective against Electric Type Pokémon?" Twilight wondered.

"Pikachu are you okay?"

"Pika Pika,"

"Yeah that's the spirit, use Quick Attack."

Pikachu charged at the Normal Type with serious speed giving massive impact. But Bunnebly recovered from the blow.

"Now, Double Slap."

Bunnbely used its ears and gave Pikachu major damage."

"Look, at Bunnebly's ears," Ash mentioned. "They're just like hands!"

"Pretty neat, huh? Bunnebly ears can-do sort of things,"

"You still fine aren't you buddy?"

"Pika Pika,"

"That's the spirit, now use Iron Tail."

Pikachu was airborne and its tail glowed in pure white.

"Look at that Pikachu can do a Steel-Type move," Bonnie gasped.

"Use your ears and catch it.

Bunnebly braced for impact and caught the Iron Tail.

"Yeah, it's was good that you caught it. It's too bad you can't use your ears!"

Clemont, Bonnie, Fluttershy, and their Pokémon gasped to realized that Bunnebly can't move.

"Your strong alright, but you can't move anymore. Electro Ball!"

Pikachu's tail charged it with a ball of electricity and since it was close-ranged it caused Bunnebly serious damage.

"Impressive, using Iron Tail only for Bunnebly to catch it but left it open to the Electro Ball," Twilight said. "Amazing."

"Whoa," Fluttershy gasped. "Ash and Pikachu are pretty strong."

"By battling him, I understand him even better. ". Clemont thoughted to himself.

"Use Quick Attack,"

"Heads up,"

Pikachu came charging in at Bunnebly, then out of nowhere some sort of a Net came out at Pikachu who stop to avoid it which made everyone gasp.

"Are you okay, Pikachu?" Ash asked his partner.

"Pika," Pikachu responded that he was okay.

"All right why would you do such a thing?" Ash exclaimed angrily looking at some not-so-friendly faces.

"That was dangerous," Clemont shouted.

"Who are you?" both Bonnie and Fluttershy asked.

"Prepare for trouble, our middle name,"

"And make it double, it's a high stakes game."

"To protect, the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truths and love!"

"To extend our reach to the skies above,"

"Jessie"

"Adagio"

"Sonata"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or get ready to fight,"

"Meowth that's right!"

"Wobbuffet,"

"Murkow!"

"Houndour!"

"Team Rocket," Twilight growled. "Should have known you have the nerves to follow us."

"Wait you know them?" Bonnie asked her.

"I've never seen talking Meowth before, that's incredible," Clemont said as he walked to them but stopped by Jaden.

"Wait, those are a group of bad guys that always take other people's Pokémon and steal stuff that isn't there's," Jaden told them.

"Excuse me twerp," Adagio spoke up. "But you're selling us short."

"Catching Pikachu is but one of numerous yet glorious goals," Jessie added.

"The rest of them the confiscation of all the strong and rare Pokémon in Kalos," Aria came in.

"Forming a formidable Pokémon army is inevitable!" James chimed.

"But catching Pikachu is job one!" Duke pointed out.

"There's a better way for us to begin our Kalos kingdom!" Clyde mentioned.

"And we'll take the one with the ears!" Sonata said looking at Bunnebly.

"Like that going to happen," Ash said.

"And goes double for me," Jaden came in.

"I will not sit idly by and let you steal other's People's Pokémon!" Clemont added.

"That's right," Twilight and Bonnie agreed.

"And who do think you are, being mean to Pokémon," said Fluttershy.

"Team Rocket, that's who!" All of them said proudly.

"All right Pikachu, Use Thunderbolt!" Ash screamed.

Pikachu launched a massive charge at them.

"Wobbuffet, time to shine!" Jessie called out her Pokémon.

The Patient Pokémon jumped in and used Mirror Coat absorbed the attack and send it back to Pikachu suffering serious damage but Ash did a diving catch and caught him.

"Nice one," Aria praised. "I give it an 11!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"We better retreat!" Clemont suggested. "Using Mirror Coat reflect Special Attack with double the power! We can't withstand that kind of strength..."

"We've always stood up them before," Ash reassured him. "And we always will! As long if Pikachu is okay, long as Pikachu doesn't give up, I'll be here batting to the end."

"All you'll end up with are reruns," Jessie said with a smirk.

"Now Pikachu, Electro Ball,"

Pikachu blasted an orb of pure electricity."

"Time for us to lend a hand," Jaden said.

"Marshtomp, Use Water Gun!"

"Flygon, Hyper beam!"

"Bunnerbly Mud Shot!"

The three Pokemon fired their attacks at them.

"You're on! Woobuffet," Jessie declared.

Woobbuffet jumped up and dodged the attacks and absorbed the Electro Ball sending them the attack back.

"No way," Fluttershy gasped.

Just as about as the Electro Ball was to made contact a Pokémon took the attack instead which everyone was surprised.

"What's that?" Jessie asked.

"A Pokémon?" Aria asked also.

The Pokémon winced due to the damage from the Electro Ball then glared at Team Rocket.

"No way it's a Froakie," Clemont exclaimed while he and others ran to Ash,

"Froakie?" Ash asked.

"It's water-type that available for first-time Pokémon Trainers in Kalos. " Jaden explained. "So that Electro Ball must have done lots of damage."

"Are you okay?" Twilight asked the Bubble Frog Pokemon. "So where is its trainer."

Then Froakie approached them.

"Where Froakie's going," Bonnie asked.

"Froakie, Fro."

"What's with all the yapping?" Adagio asked.

"I think that Froakie wants to help us," Fluttershy said.

"Froak!"

"Uh, Froakie saying bad guys rub it the wrong way!" Meowth said in concern.

"You can't take them on," Ash said in concern. "You've been hurt, stop!"

But Froakie didn't listen and threw a sticky-like substance at them.

"It used it Frubbles!" Jaden screamed.

"Big whoop," Jessie motioned Wobbuffet to use Mirror Coat. "We send them right back!"

Wobbuffet used Mirror Coat but it failed and Team was covered in the Frubbles.

"What is this stuff?" Duke asked.

"I can't get this gunk off!" Both Meowth and Adagio shouted.

"How come it didn't bounce back?" Twilight asked.

"Of course," Clemont realzied. "Froakie's gummy Frubbles is not a move, so Wobbuffet's Mirror Coat was completely ineffective."

"Nice job, Froakie," Jaden said. "Let us take from here."

"We'll lend a hand, too!" Clemont joined in.

"Don't forget about us," Bonnie said as she, Twilight, and Fluttershy run from behind.

"Now Bunnebly, use dig," Clemont orderd.

Bunneebly went underground.

"Uh, oh!" Sonata said in a worried tone.

Due to the Digging Pokemon using Dig the ground crumble and Team Rocket was in the air.

"Nice job, Bunnebly," Clemont thanked him.

"Let's wrap this up," Ash said.

"Right," Twilight, Jaden, and Fluttershy agreed.

"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"

"Flygon, time Dragon Pulse!"

"Marshtomp, Ice Beam!"

"Pangoro, Rock Tomb!"

Froakie joined in and used Water Pulse and all five of the five attacks came directly at Team Rocket.

"We blasting off again!" All of them screamed as they disappeared out of sight.

"Wow," Bonnie was amazed. "Awesome Power."

The Pokemon jumped for joy but Froakie collapsed and fell to the ground.

"Froakie!" Ash said in concern. "Something's wrong!"

"Froa..." Froakie weakly said.

"Froakie needs help right away," Fluttershy said.

"Is there a Pokemon Center?" Twilight asked.

"I think it is a lot quicker if we brought Froakie to the professor's lab instead," Bonnie brought up.

"The professor?" Ash asked.

"Yeah," Jaden said. "Professor Sycamore's Research Lab. There's no doubt he'll know to help Froakie!"

Clemont, Twilight, Jaden, and Fluttershy return all of their Pokemon in their Pokeballs.

"Come on, Ash!" Bonnie motioned him. "This way!"

"I'm coming Bonnie," Ash followed her with Froakie in his arms. "Don't worry, you're going to feel better real soon!"
