Chapter Six

We are here in Beehive, Mane. This is the not so secret headquarters of the infamous Wizard of truth is homed. Along with the group of rebels and high command. There is also a training ground and a base a few trots from here. Money bought all the safety she needed and payed many off and employ. From cooks to assassins are scattered all around. This base is not impenetrable just like Canterlot. But there will be significant losses on both sides if one decides to invade. This is well known to both factions so the race was on to claim and influence as many people possible. Here we learn about the Wizard of truth.

"My commander, we received news from our spy Rarity."

"What is it Lt. Spike?"

"It seems a PP attack on the town she is stationed is very evident. She claims death of a conspirator to kill the princess with a cupcake at the banquet at the town was murdered."

"Well, it seems we are going to have to make a move. Send a reply with a few thousand bits to aid her in the relief of the town. Also ask for any unusual changes in the ponies like new faces or strange flight patterns."

"Yes my commander."

'Dear Princess I mean Diary,

     It has been showed to me that the PP will do nothing to stop those who try to stop the princess. You know the plan I was talking about, my General F-SHIE said it could work if we are a little more quiet. But honestly, being loud is the only way to get attention. Good or bad attention, it's attention."

We come to view of what a wizard our savior is. To take matter in her own hooves to simply just get attention which is what the cause so far has tried not to attract.

"My commander," Spy Rarity has replied.

She states an old face has come to town, but I havent seen him since the investigation of the sugar cube corner incident. He went and wandered off with somepony I was told. But it's someone you are going to have to meet. A surprise it must remain because it would endanger him if I spoke word of him."

"Spike, prepare a transport ready for I wish to have him delivered to me."

Then a group of mercenaries left with weapons and guides and a carriage. This transport was of high importance. The clearance level Luna. The group sent out and was only a few hours from the location since they all could fly there. These were the top guns of the air. They specialized in protecting high value targets in the air. Lead by the famous Soarin'. They travel for a few then

"A yo, Soarin' I'm picking something up in the radar."

"Talk to me Goose."

"It seams to be another pegasus, shall we intercept?"

"Sure why the hell not?! Fire away boys!"

They fired and suddenly the air was filled with burning paper and letter looking things. The group continued on there way an then they encountered a RBD ACE squad. The fight was on the group of fighter ponies attack the RBD squad and they returned fire. Lasers and body parts were everywhere. But the group beat the four RBD soldiers. They regrouped and took role.

"Status report role call!"

"Goose?"

"Here"

"Foxtrot"

"I'm still up"

"Kahn. Kahn, Kahn, you better have your tongue cut!"

All that was left was his cutiemark.

"Kaaaaaaahn!"

They regrouped, Soarin' knew that a death of pilot is a glorious especially in combat. So the loss wasn't too bad. But the carriage was now a little more heaver with on less pony to pull.  

Now they were just out side the LZ and were making preparations then.

Chapter Eight

"Commander, Transport Flight 93 is down. We are trying to reconnect but to no avail"

"Shoot! That was one of, no, the best group of fighters we ever had."

"What are my orders?"

"You little thing just get the black box and find what you can!"

"Geez Twilight..."

"Oh shoot! I command you! I just lost my best crew and your going to give a stupid response!"

"Sorry commander, my apologies, I'll prepare for the recovery."

Spike heads to the rec room.

"Alright I need five volunteers.

No takers, ok, Pierce, Gat, Shaundi, King, and Lilly. Get into Transport Carrier 101 cargo bay 17."

So Spike told them to go and they did and as they were mid flight Spike gave them their mission.

"You are to recover the black box of Transport Flight 93, which we all no who were in there. No tears, no fears."

They arrive in the LZ to find it scorched. It appears there wasn't a crash because there is no impact creator. They scanned the zone and found a hit on the black box. This is only thing that is dense enough to survive anything. They examine the area one more time to find parts or ponies. They return to Beehive in an hour or so. Spike was debriefing Twilight.

"Commander, we went through hours of tape and found this."

Spike puts it on an audio enhancing device.

Chapter Nine

This is the recording...

"Alright we are about twelve or thirteen (interrupted)" - Soarin'

"A yo, Sorin' I'm picking something up in the radar." - Goose

"Talk to me goose." - Sorin'

"It seams to be another pegasus shall we intercept?" - Goose

"Sure why the hell not?! Fire away boys!"

(indistinct sounds of fire)

(unaudible shouting) "My muffins and bag"

"You missed, all of you." - Soarin'

"We knew you were joking when you wanted us to attack civilian targets."

18 min 23 seconds passed by.

"Soarin' are you seein what I am?" - Kahn

"You bet your four wings I do!" - Sorin'

(Indestinct battle sounds)

"Ok... Lets take... Erg roll." -Soarin'

"Status report role call!" - Soarin'

"Goose?" - Soarin'

"It looks like, a colorful streak of light." Soarin'

"Wait, is that Rai(explosive shock)" Unknown

"So some pony is alive? Well that's great I guess. Who is it?" Twilight said anxiously

"Well there was too much in the background to hear the audio comparison." Spike answered in fear " And my analysis also states that now we have a bigger problem."

Spike explains what he feels how the event is going to have an effect on operations. He also know more than he let's on to commander Twilight.
