Chapter 1: Crocodiles are Delicious
Load Full Story Next ChapterMorgana was slinking through the grass during battle training, preparing a spell as a captured minion walked into view, but before she could do anything else a large creature jumped on the minion and literally ate his face off. Morgana sighed as her kill was stolen once again by her companion. "Cho'Gath, you should really consider things before you jump on something and eat it." Morgana walked up to the minion, who was screaming in pain as it slowly bled to death. She looked at Cho'Gath, who was just slurping up the remnants of the poor minion's face. slurp The creature known as Cho'Gath looked around and spotted Morgana.
"I was getting hungry." Morgana raised her palm to her forehead, and Cho'Gath surveyed the area wondering if there was anymore food in the proximity. Morgana took another second to look over Cho'Gath. His legs seemed fine, the spike like appendages sprouting from his back were alright and waving in the wind. His face still bear the long scar from the incident. It had happened about a year or two ago, when Morgana had been chasing Lux, an enemy Champion, she had fallen into a river and was stumbling around. Morgana looked at her with pity, noting the terror in Lux's eyes. She loved seeing that. Terror, pain, misery, but most of all, sadness. She looked down on Lux, who had fallen after being snared by one of Morgana's spells. Just as she closed in for the kill, she smelled blood. A lot of blood to be exact, and that was when she realized the pain in her back. She spun around and saw that another Champion, a large crocodile with an even larger semi-circle blade and glowing red eyes. It stood on two legs and had an immense jaw that looked as if it could snap her in half. She recognized the crocodile instantly as Renekton. It spoke in a harsh voice.
"Lux, go back to base for a heal, I'll deal with her." Lux nodded, and she teleported away, leaving Morgana to her fate with Renekton. He closed in and pushed her onto the ground, and a shot of pain flew up her back. Morgana wondered if this was truly death, if she would be killed by Renekton. The one she had always been able to avoid. Morgana started to slowly crawl backwards and for once, she felt fear. Renekton walked up to her and spoke again, "Your head will be a good piece to show to the rest of my team." He walked closer and raised his blade. A green fluid dripped onto his long jaw. He lowered his weapon and swiped a little of the liquid on his finger and smelled it. He recoiled in disgust, and then the green fluid was coming down on him in a small drizzle. The crocodile reluctantly looked up, and the last thing he saw was a pair of glowing green eyes staring down and then the pain as teeth cut into his rib cage. Morgana looked up and saw a large creature looming over her, chewing on the body of the crocodile that had almost ended her life.
It swallowed the rest whole, and she swore that it grew a few inches. It finished and looked down at her with penetrating eyes, that seemed to stare into her soul. It was the first to break the silence. Although what it said wasn't exactly something that would put fear in Morgana's heart, "Om Nom NOM NOM NOM!!!" She giggled slightly at the creature, as the rest of her fear vanished quickly. It moved closer to her and held out a claw, as if to help her up. She grabbed it and the creature pulled her up, and almost off the ground. When she was back on solid ground, she groaned as the pain in her back grew. She looked toward the sky, as if expecting something to happen.
"Summoner, I could use some help here!" As she finished the sentence, a green glow enveloped her and everything in a small radius, and the gash on her back sealed up and stopped bleeding. "That is a lot better." Morgana stretched a little and then looked up at the creature, holding out her hand. "Morgana, what be you name, creature?" The beast looked down and shook her hand with his claw, and responded.
"I am known as Cho'Gath in the Void." Morgana thought that over for a second, thinking that she had heard about someplace called the Void before. She would ask him later, after destroying the enemy's Nexus. A beam of light burst through the air, cutting Cho'Gath on his mouth, and Morgana's dream evaporated. She was standing in the grotto alone, "Cho'Gath must have left for the Nexus" Morgana thought to herself for a little bit. Suddenly, she heard a large explosion, which signified that they had destroyed the enemy Nexus and won. She ran toward the sound and saw that it was not the Nexus that had exploded.

Cho'Gath stood, facing the woman who had just attacked his friend, Rengar. He recognized her as the Light Knight, Lux. A small team of four fallowed Lux out of the forest as the beam of light had exploded at Rengar's feet, sending him flying through the air. Cho'Gath snarled and ran after Lux, who was distracted by Rengar at the moment. He barreled into her and they both fell onto the ground as they engaged a brawl, in which Cho'Gath had the upper hand. Or spikes that is. He pulled back one of his spike appendages and stuck it into her shoulder, which started spouting blood on impact. Standing up, he lifted Lux up and dug the second spike into her torso. She grabbed the on in her chest and started crying from the pain. Blood leaked through her armor and she dropped her staff. Pulling out the one in Lux's shoulder, Cho'Gath threw her aside and ran up to one of her allies, Nautilus, who looked like a giant machine with glowing orange eyes. He noticed Cho'Gath coming and threw out his hand in a punch, Cho'Gath quickly ducked and stomped the ground. Nautilus was thrown into the air and spikes sprouted from the ground where he once stood. He fell onto the spikes, and stopped moving. Confident with the kill, Cho'Gath turned back to Lux, who was picking her staff back up. She raised it at Cho'Gath and a rainbow colored ball slammed into his chest, stunning him for a moment. As he prepared to charge after her again, he was thrown onto the ground by a a familiar looking Knight enveloped in light. Leona of the sun, Cho'Gath's worst enemy. Leona brought the sword down on Cho'Gath and he swung up his tail to deflect the blow. clang Sparks flew as the sword connected with Cho'Gath's tail, he lifted up and swiped with it. The diamond shape on the end of his tail cut Leona's cheek.
She stumbled backwards and looked up. Cho'Gath stood before her, drooling over a meal too long delayed. As he closed in for the kill a pillar rose from the ground between him and Leona. It started dripping ooze that slowed Cho'Gath's movement. As he slowly progress through the muck, the rest of his team showed up. First Morgana, Next Graves, then one of his best friends, Kog'Maw. Morgana helped Rengar up and he walked up to Lux, who was squirming on the ground from the pain. He reached down and picked her up by the throat. The rest of Lux's team took an offensive position. They out from their hiding positions. Cho'Gath recognized them, first was Leona, next was Ryze, and finally Trundle. Ryze and Trundle took in the scene before them. Nautilus lay dead and Lux was in the hands of the enemy. Not good. Cho'Gath walked over to Rengar, and took Lux out of his hands. She stared into his eyes, and she was nearing her final breath. Cho'Gath never lets food spoil. He threw her up into the air and chomped down, blood trickled down his face as the headless body of Lux hit the ground. thud The enemy team's morale was crushed. There was only three of them left, and all five of Cho'Gath's team were present. In a desperate attempt to run, Ryze started casting a prototype spell he had read from the large scroll on his back. Morgana saw him casting and readied her most powerful spell, she was going to send him into the Void. Ryze fired his spell at the now charging Cho'Gath, and Morgana fired at Ryze. Cho'Gath jumped on top of Ryze, throwing him to the ground. Both spells hit Cho'Gath and he felt his organs bubble. He bit at Ryze and ended up tearing off the scroll on his back. Ryze stared at what was left of the scroll, a bubble of magical energy started expanding from it, and Cho'Gath blacked out. The last thing he remembered was Ryze yelling at him.
"You're Doomed!"

Twilight Sparkle stared out the window of her library. It had been a slow day. It was nighttime now and Luna had just brought out the moon. Twilight looked up into the night sky, and the stars looked off. "That's odd." Twilight studied the stars a little bit more, but the more she looked at them, the more her eyes seemed to hurt. That is when she realized they were in a certain pattern. When she looked at them from an angle they showed a large beast standing next to a portal. Why would Luna make the stars take that pattern? It was a very curious ordeal. Spike sat sleeping next to her bed, and he started to stir. burp Spike sat up and looked down at the scroll in his lap. 'Twilight must not have noticed.' Spike thought to himself before opening the scroll.
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
It has come to my attention that there is a disturbance in the Everfree forest, near the old castle where you defeated Nightmare Moon. I wish for you to gather you friends and search the area for anything suspicious. Careful, the magical energy emitting from there shows high risk and the situation must be handled carefully. If anything goes wrong you are to report back to me immediately.
Your Faithful Teacher,
Princess Celestia
Spike looked the scroll over and over. Finally he stood up, walked up to Twilight, and poked her in the side. "Twilight, the Princess sent a letter to you." Twilight looked down and took the scroll in her magic, quickly read over it, and put it down on the nightstand nearby.
"Well I'll go gather the girls then. While I'm gone you take charge, Spike." Spike just shrugged and walked back over to his bed, content on going back to sleep. Twilight packed her saddlebag with a few books on magical energy and walked out the door. After she had gotten all the Elements of Harmony together, they headed into the Everfree.

Cho'Gath had that sinking feeling as he fell through the portal. He observed everything he saw inside the portal, and it looked like his home. The Void. Although he didn't stop there, the portal threw him through a different dimension. He sped through and felt like he was being crushed, if he didn't get out soon he would be Cho'Gath soup. Just then, he saw a light ahead. He ran toward it, and it led out a stone castle of some sort. Cho'Gath looked around for his friends, which he could not find. His stomach growled at him, telling him that he required a meal soon. He observed the place he was now in. Stone walls, wooden doors, and about four inches of dust on everything. Cho'Gath looked out a window and saw that it was nighttime. He suddenly felt his fatigue run out and he collapsed on the stone floor. He shut his eyes and went to sleep. When he woke up, the smell of food was caught on his nose. He walked up to what looked like the entrance, and broke the door open, he saw some odd looking creature that looked like the mix between a lion, a scorpion, and a bat. The only thing he noticed after that was all the blood that leaked from its body when he took a bite out of his head. Part of its brain fell out of the creatures head, and hit the ground. splut Cho'Gath enjoyed the juicy meal, and looked around. He was in a small clearing in front of the castle. Trees were all around, making a canopy over the entrance, and then stopping at a clearing where Cho'Gath saw what looked like a broken rope bridge. Looking past the bridge, he saw a rapid river that seemed to stretch through most of the forest. For now it looked as if he were trapped at this castle, since the trees around the castle were very close together. 'I would have to eat a million minions to grow big enough to clear the trees.' Cho'Gath thought to himself. He then heard something like hooves hitting the ground. Instinct taking over, he jumped into a nearby bush. He poked part of his head out and was bewildered by what he saw.

Twilight ran ahead of the others as they neared the remains of the old castle. The sea serpent from the river had been happy to talk to Rarity again, and lowered the river for them to walk across. Now stood the problem of getting across the ravine that was in front of the castle. She saw the remains of the old bridge that Rainbow Dash had held up for the five other ponies. Twilight heard Fluttershy cry out, as if in shock. She looked toward Fluttershy and followed her eyes. Across the gorge lay a dead manticore, half of its brain lay on the ground while part of its head had been chewed off by something. When Pinkie Pie saw it her mane fell down and went straight, Fluttershy fainted, Applejack pulled down her hat, Twilight just looked at it in disgust, Rarity screamed, and Rainbow Dash tried to hold her composer but puked into a nearby bush. Applejack was the first to speak up, "That is just disgustin'." Twilight focus on the bridge again, trying to push the picture of the manticore from her mind.
"Ok girls, to get over the ravine, Rarity and I will hold up the bridge with our magic while everypony crosses." Twilight addressed her friends in a serious voice, and after talking to Rainbow Dash about carrying Fluttershy over, Twilight and Rarity raised the bridge. Pinkie and Applejack walked over it, followed by Rainbow Dash who was carrying Fluttershy, and then Twilight walked across the bridge followed by Rarity. When they got to the other side, Twilight and Rarity just let the bridge drop. Twilight walked up to the manticore for closer inspection, it smell horrid. She wondered why kind of creature they were dealing with, and if it had been smart for the princess to send the girls out here. She shook her head, it wasn't right to doubt the princess. She had sent the six out here for a reason. Twilight looked up and saw the door had been smashed open, from the inside. Pieces of wood lay nearby and some of the stones had fallen from the arch of the doorway. Whatever they were dealing with was really big. The team started to observe things, and Fluttershy woke up. She looked around, avoiding a look at the manticore, and started to search the area. She saw a nearby bush rustle and, thinking it was a rabbit or a squirrel, walked up to it. She looked at the bush, and noticed something with red skin in it. Before she could part the bushes, she felt something sticky in her mane. Pulling up a hoof, she wiped some off and looked at it. It was a green goo of some kind. In a few seconds her mane was a green sticky mess. She looked up and say two glowing green eyes staring down. The creature addressed her with a name that she didn't want to be called, "Food!" Next Chapter: I Do Not Live Under A Bed Estimated time remaining: 53 Minutes
