Ben slammed his fist on a crate in the storage room, effectively splintering the area of impact. He just stared at the ground and shook his head. Rainbow Dash never loved him in the first place. She let him sleep with her so he would be motivated to save a world he had no idea existed. In his own mind, he thought as it was a sin. But Rainbow Dash said that she had fallen in love with Ben in the process.

"Probably just a coverup.", Ben snarled at the empty space in front of him.

"Ragh! I can't believe that she did this to me!", Ben's wings shot out and tore the crate to pieces. The human backed away.

"Benjamin. Listen to me, if you keep following up your emotions like this, then I believe you will never mend your relationship with the pegasus.", Safeguard hummed in his mind.

"What do you know about love?", Ben shifted his position and crossed his arms in the empty void that was the cargo bay.

"I know nothing, but I know what is right for your life."

Ben ignored Safeguard and walked up the stairs. It wasn't long until he got to the upper deck. He saw the remaining Elements of Harmony on the top level, as the exception of Rainbow Dash and Twilight. Ben approached Shining Armor. Immediately, Shining Armor could tell that Ben was not in a good mood, so he turned his head around to face the front of the ship, and just wait for Ben to ask whatever was on his mind to him.

"How long until we arrive at Canterlot.", Ben said with a blank expression. It was not a question, but a demand due to the tone in his voice.

"We will descend from this cloud bank and arrive at Canterlot within a few minutes or so.", Shining Armor informed. Before he could ask what was on Ben's mind, he just walked away, as if he had heard nothing. Ben looked over the side of the airship as they descended from the cloud back and rested his eyes on the massive castle resting on top of the mountain overlooking Ponyville. Nothing seemed to be smoking or battered to pieces, so he gathered that Eclipse has not arrived. But he swore at the speed he saw him traveling that he would have beaten them there.

"Ben, we've arrived. Mind if you gather everypony so we can dock?", Shining Armor asked as politely as possible. Ben grunted and walked down to the lower levels to alert everypony that it was time to come home.

"My lord, I estimate with your current power, we- I apoligise- you shall reach Canterlot within mere minutes.", Corrosive stated as Eclipse and the dragon-hybrid rocketed across the sky.

"In time Corrosive. In time...", Eclipse muttered. The alicorn looked down at the two amulets around his neck. One of his niece who so failed in battle, and the other being Celestia's student. Eclipse could really feel more and more power coursing through his once dead veins, but he needed more...

"Corrosive, I will reshape Equestria..."

Then, behind Eclipse was a massive flock of winged Needle Teeth, Dragoons (Not Dragons), Demons, and many other unnamed and even more deadly creatures.

"...and anything that stands in my way..."

The massive air force gave a shrill and terrifying roar and screech.

"...shall be eradicated."

The Zeppelin touched down as Princess Celestia had expected. The propellers halted their movement and various guards lined up and stood at attention when the bridge lowered. Princess Celestia breathed a sigh as she saw Benjamin come down first. Then she saw Shining Armor, Righteous Light, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash...with badgaes over herself, and Pinkie Pie. Celestia narrowed her eyes at three fillies that were sneaking away from the group. She dismissed the idea that they actually came from the warship, but she would have to order some guard to take them home.

Then, nopony else came down from the ship.

"What? But I thought there were more guards. And...where's Twilight Sparkle?"

Shining Armor walked up to her and put a hoof on her shoulder.

"The guards didn't make it. They're dead. As for Twilight..."

Princess Celestia began to grow tears in her eyes. She began to shake her head.

"No. No! Don't you tell me that Twilight Sparkle died!", Princess Celestia screamed.

"She didn't die your highness. She was captured by Eclipse."

"Oh no. This is even worse. At least she isn't dead."

Shining Armor looked back and found some other guards motioning for Shining Armor to assist them in loading up a ballista to the castle wall defenses. Shining Armor said his farewells, and hoped to Celestia that they would rescue Twilight and stop Eclipse, and strode away.

Princess Celestia lowered her head and tried to clear her mind.She looked up and found Benjamin approaching her. She tried to smile at his approach, but he did not slow down. Instead, when he got to the Princess of the sun, his wings burst out of his back as glared at Celestia.

"I know what's going on."

Celestia began to shift her eyes to opposite sides of the throne room.

"What do you mean?"

"Don't play this fucking game. I know what you made Rainbow Dash do."

"I still have no idea what you're going on about."

"For the love of mother fucking god! She staged everything! She was supposed to fall in love with me?! Bullshit! How could you fucking do that to me?! You sick minded and twisted so called 'Princess'!"

Princess Celestia grabbed Benjamin by the stomach and pinned him against the the solid marble wall. Celestia growled in anger.

"You have the nerve to address me like that?! Do you know what has just happened to me?! I have lost three of my best men, and my student is in the hands of Eclipse! Do you know how that feels to have something precious ripped away from you?!"

"Yes...my entire life was that experience. I have lost every single family member that I know of in front of my eyes, and when I thought somebody actually cared about me, IT WAS A FRAUD!"

Celestia slammed Ben harder into the marble, but he still went on.

"Why does it have to be me anyways?! Why out of 7 billion humans and even more possible species out in the universe would a lonely and struggling human be chosen?! Anything would be a better candidate that the worthless piece of crap that I am."

Princess Celestia was about to slam Benjamin harder into the wall, until she saw a speck of water flow down from Ben's eye.

"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DO THIS TO ME?!", Benjamin screamed through his tears.

Princess Celestia looked at Benjamin, who was still in her grasp. She widened her eyes and released Benjamin.

"What am I doing?", Princess Celestia looked at her hoof. Ben landed on his stomach and got to his feet.

"If I save Equestria, send me home, and make everypony watch."

Ben walked away from Celestia, who had heard him well, but was still looking at her hoof.

"What have I done...?"

Suddenly, a thunderous roar screeched across Canterlot as the battle horn signaled that Eclipse was drawing near. Celestia and Luna were to stay in Canterlot withg the remaining Elements of Harmony and Shining Armor, while Ben was to lead the frontal defense against Eclipse's invasion.

Celestia prayed to the gods to Benjamin would strive to do his best...

...even after what she had done to him.

Ben touched down at the soft grasslands battlefield and began to order around everypony to set up as much artillery as possible. The unicorns were to lead the first charge against the enemy, and the pegasi were ordered to stay back and fire their crossbows at the advance.

Ben just could not shake the fact that Rainbow Dash never loved him in the first place. But, he shook his head and did his best to lock away the memory when he heard a unicorn shouted that Eclipse's forces were spotted a few miles away. Ben activated his wings and flew upwards. Sure enough, he saw multiple columns of marching black dots carrying various weapons advance across the grass lands. Ben magnified on his targeting eyepiece and found that they were not Needle Teeth, but some sort of demon creations. Then, Ben realized something.

They were humans.

And they were dressed in all sorts of armor.

Greek, Roman, Saxon, English...the list goes on.

Ben shook his head and magnified closer. No, they were not human. They had multiple horns jutting from their heads, and their eyes were deathly crimson. Ben looked at the front lines. He saw Revolutionary War era British foot soldier marching in perfect form. Ben looked around more and saw true demons marching around, axes and swords in hand.

Ben flew backwards and strained to reach the front lines in time. He landed and ordered one of the pegasi to immediately send a message to Canterlot informing about the enemy. The pegasus nodded and took off for the castle in the distance.

Minutes seemed like hours. And more time meant more stress for Princess Celestia's forces. Then, Ben found a familiar unicorn walking up to him.

"Shining Armor, what the hell are you doing here?", Ben asked while at the same time keeping an eye on the front lines.

"Princess Celestia sent me down to gather information about the enemy."

"There is something you must know. These enemies are even more dangerous than the demons that Eclipse created."

Shining Armor took one step back.

"What-what do you mean?"

"They're humans."

"Humans?! Why would that be a greater threat?"

"Because humans were created for war and adaptiveness, and these humans are sporting gear of the most powerful armies in history."

"Oh dear Celestia, how will we manage to hold them off?"

"I have these."

Ben sprouted out his wings, causing the surrounding soldiers to stare in awe at his wings. Shining Armor still felt down and Ben knew exactly what it was.

"Don't worry, I won't stop tearing through the enemy until I get your sister back. And when I do, I'll maul that army some more."

Shining Armor chuckled.

Ben then saw several guards run past with long weapons of some kind. It didn't take long to recognize what they were.

"Are those muskets?"

"Sure are. Imported from the Griffon Kingdom."

"Griffons, oh yeah, I've studied about them a little bit. But, you're going to need something better that just muskets of what you're going up against."

"Enemies spotted! Three miles!", a unicorn shouted as the first volley of artillery rocketed towards the enemy.

"Shining Armor, I will lead the first charge against the enemy."

"Good luck Benjamin."

Benjamin just nodded and took to the skies. A massive wave of pegasi followed him and unicorns on the ground rushed to keep up. Ben began to scan the skies for signs of flying enemies, and found them way in the back, out of danger each of the main charging force. Ben stopped in midair and ordered the pegasi to open fire from above. The pegasi drew their muskets and began to pepper the enemy position with deadly .50 lead spheres. Numerous enemies fell from the first volley, and Ben took advantage of the reload of the pegasi and open fired with his Buster Rifles. White beams streaked the enemy positions and humans were sent flying from the blasts. Suddenly, farther back,he saw the unicorns charging for the enemy with their weapons drawn. Before Ben could react, the British soldier drew their firearms and the front row knelt down and fired. The back row fired another volley over their heads and unicorns began to fall from the musket blasts. The rest of the unicorns raised their shields, which surprisingly stopped the balls from piecing through. After firing another volley with insufficient results, the British began fitting spike-like blades to the end of their rifles in response to the rapidly approaching unicorns. Bayonets. With a battle cry, the British charged, with all sorts of warriors of Greece behind them.

Ben, on the other hand was unable to attack due to his Gatling cannons reloading and his Buster Rifles have overheated and need to recharge. then, he remembered his missiles.

"Oh yeah, forgot about those."

Ben's wings straightened and the missiles unloaded into the wings.

"Fire HE missiles."

"Acknowledged, firing High Explosive."

Smoke filled the area around Ben as smoke trails sailed out and began streaking and spiraling towards the enemy with a deadly screech. Explosions enveloped the frontal columns and destroyed most of the enemy foot soldiers. Suddenly, numerous contacts in the sky appeared. Ben looked closer and he immediately gasped in horror.

They were P-51 Mustangs, the deadliest fighters in World War II. Ben shot backwards to avoid the deadly bullets and fired his Gatling guns in response after reloading. The planes began to dive and climb to avoid the rounds, but many were torn to pieces in the cross fire. The Mustangs that had dodged came up and down to attack Ben. Bullets rained all over Ben from opposite directions as his wings did the best they could to stop the rounds. He looked down and found that more unicorns had added to the frontal columns, and were fighting skirmishes with Roman legionaries. But, due to the sheer amount of Mustangs swarming around him and gunning to effect, Ben could not assist them below. Suddenly, in the corner of his eye, Ben saw a brown blur latch onto one of the Mustangs and tear open the cockpit. More and more brown specks latched onto more and more Mustangs and rip the pilots out. The pilots pulled their parachutes, but the blurs torn through them, making sure that there were no survivors. Then, one of the brown specks came closer to Ben. Then, he realized it was a griffon. The griffon was holding two swords of some kind and it approached Ben and stopped in front of him.

"We have responded to your letters, human. We are here to assist."

"Heh, I knew some griffons got my messages."

"Lilienfeld, enemies are over running the unicorns, they are pushing towards Canterlot."

"Go assist the unicorns. I'll hit them from the back."

"Yes sir."

The griffon flew off as Ben flew around all of the massive advances of humans and in no time, he was at the back. A wicked grin  came across his face as he began unloading missiles, Gatling cannon rounds, and Buster Rifle beams on the enemies. They all turned around and tried to attack Ben with muskets, crossbows, and even javelins. Ben just kep unloading rounds until a massive force hit his back and sent him hurtling in the air. He looked at where the ram had come from, and picked up a winged lizard, smaller than a dragon, with sections of blades on its back. More and more started to appear.

"Dragoons..."

The dragoons seemed to glide on the air as they switched their direction and turned their back to Ben. The blades on their backs linked together and they speed towards Ben. He now knew their method of attack. They planned on gutting him by running him with the blades on their backs. Ben open fired with his Buster Rifles and began dropping them one by one. But, he felt a massive pain on his back as one dragoon sliced through it. Ben screamed as he tried to find the dragoon that sliced his back. He found the last dragoon with red on its back blades, which Ben immediately shot down with a burst from his rifle.

Ben ordered Safeguard what he could do about the wound on his back, and he said he would get right to work. Ben looked down and the unicorns were barely holding off the invaders. Ben reared downwards and began spraying more lead into the human attackers. This gave the unicorns, pegasi, and the griffons some breathing space, and they strained to push back.

Eclipse casually flew through the air, unknown to anypony down below. The humans were doing a very good job at keeping the ponies and griffons at bay. Now, Eclipse had to reach Canterlot, over power the resistance, and use his sister's magic to unleash his true form. Eclipse pressed onwards towards Canterlot. Then, Corrosive appeared next to Eclipse.

"I am glad that the diversion army was a success."

"Yes, I myself could easily overpower Equestria, but I must reach my true form."

"Yes, my lord."

"There is one thing that still ponders my mind."

"What is that, my lord?"

"The prophecy of my return spoke of a hero, descending from the sky to put me to an end. We cannot take any risks. I order you to kill the human."

"Gladly, my lord."

Rainbow Dash managed to get over her wounds from the airship and snuck out of the castle. She had to take one look at the battlefield in order to feel dizzy. Thousands of bodies littered the grasslands and the once green land was stained with a sickly red. Rainbow Dash resisted the urge to vomit as she tried to find Ben in the sky.

Just to make sure that he was okay...

"Hello, Benjamin.", Corrosive muttered to him after finding the human.

"You.", Ben growled.

"I know what has happened. It is a shame that she never loved you in the first place."

Ben felt every ounce of pure anger and hatred building up in him.

"This is it then."

"I will have her. And nothing will stop me."

BENJAMIN VS. CORROSIVE

COMMENCE EPIC BATTLE MUSIC!

Ben gritted his teeth and charged forward. It was obvious that Corrosive intended to end Benjamin. Ben suddenly threw himself backwards and locked onto Corrosive with every anti-air missile that was stored in his wings. Ben fired and missiles streaked out in all directions. Ben kept a close eye on Corrosive, who did not turn away from the incoming projectiles. Instead, he allowed them to collide with him, creating a massive explosion to erupt in the sky. Then, out of the smoke, Corrosive emerged and kept charging forwards.

"What in the name of-"

Ben's question was abruptly cut as Corrosive slammed himself into Ben. In midair, he drew a sword and began to slash away. Ben countered with his wings, and blocked every attack. Then, Corrosive spewed forth massive amounts of pure fire from his mouth and seared Ben's left arm. He screamed as Corrosive found and opening. He slashed across Ben's chest creating a large gash to appear in it. Ben cringed as he recovered and he slashed with his wings. He caught Corrosive on his right foreleg and he screeched with pain. Ben suddenly activated his Gatling cannons and sprayed in front of him. Corrosive barely dodged as the tracer rounds streaked around him.

"You cannot kill me. Rainbow Dash never loved you."

Ben gritted his teeth harder and slashed as hard as he could with his wings. Corrosive backed away and smashed Ben with his steel-hard hoof. All oxygen was expelled from his lungs as Ben fell downwards towards Equestria. Unknown to him, Rainbow dash was watching all of this, and screamed at Ben's falling body. Then, Ben straightened out and flew upwards and slashed again. Corrosive dodged and firmly landed another blow onto ben's stomach. Every time Corrosive hit Ben in the gut, it weakened him and caused him to give into fatigue.

"She played you Benjamin."

"Shut up!"

Rainbow Dash could only watch as Ben and Corrosive exchanged blades with one another. She couldn't bring herself to help Ben, not after what she did to him...

In Canterlot, it was the same, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and the remaining Elements of Harmony watched as Ben tried to strike down Corrosive.

Eclipse on the other hand had breached Canterlot's defenses and was heading up the stairwell towards Princess Celestia's throne room.

Corrosive slashed as fast as his hoof would allow and Ben dodged as best as his wings could.

"You corrupted her. She would never love you. You are a demon."

Ben stopped cold. He thought about what he had done in the cabin. When he saw Rainbow Dash break down into tears...

Corrosive seized this opportunity and struck.

Everypony saw the horrifying moment that followed.

Corrosive skewered Ben with his sword.

Corrosive smiled menacingly as he twisted the blade.

The only other pony that had seen this was Rainbow Dash.

(Stop Music)

She screamed as Ben was kicked down towards Equestria. Corrosive just left as ben hurtled towards the ground.

Rainbow Dash flew as fast as she could to catch Ben. She had tears in her eyes as she strained to reach the falling human. She knew she truly loved him, no matter what she was told otherwise. The rainbow maned pegasus approached the falling human.

Just closer...

closer...

closer...

She reached out with her hooves to catch Benjamin, but...

...she missed.

Missed.

That was all that appeared in her mind as Ben continued to sail downwards towards Equestria. A "Thunk" was heard as Ben impacted. Rainbow Dash cringed as she dived to inspect the crash site. It was horrible. Ben was found in a crater, blood pouring out of his chest, and his right wing was torn off, crackling energy. Rainbow Dash touched down outside of the crater and looked at Ben. He was lying there. He seemed at peace.

Rainbow Dash lost him. She lost Benjamin.

It was over.

Then, Ben's fingers twitched. Rainbow Dash looked back and found Ben turning his head towards the cyan mare. The pegasus slowly floated down inside the crater. She gently touched down next to him and her magenta eyes met his hazel eyes.

"Ben..."

"Rainbow Dash. What are you doing here...?"

"I..."

"You have to get back to your friends. They're in great danger."

"I'm not going to leave you!", she shouted with tears growing in her eyes.

"Eclipse is in Canterlot. Please Rainbow Dash...go..."

"You don't understand. I let you sleep with me because I truly loved you, not because it was staged. Nothing was staged Ben.", Rainbow Dash spoke softly.

"Then, why did you say it was staged, and Princess Celestia admitted to it."

"No, Ben. T-that's not true."

"Rainbow Dash. I want you to go and protect your friends. You can't save me."

"I can't, but I won't leave your side.

"Please Rainbow Dash...just leave."

"I can't. And this is why."

Then, Rainbow Dash lowered her head and kissed Ben. She closed her eyes and Ben closed his. The human managed to gather enough strength to stroke Rainbow Dash's mane. It flowed in the moon light. Rainbow Dash turned her head, and Ben returned the gesture. Rainbow Dash collapsed on top of Ben as she kept kissing him and Ben embraced her warm fur. Her mane brushed against Ben's face and Ben began to lower down. From lowering down, Ben broke away from Rainbow Dash and he turned his head to the side. Rainbow dash opened her eyes and rested her eyes on ben, who was lying motionless on the dirt in the crater.

"Ben...?"

No response came from the human.

"Ben?", Rainbow Dash nudged Ben with her nose.

"No...no-no-no-no!", she screamed. She cried over Ben's lifeless body.

Why did it end like this?

"You said you would never leave me..."

(Keep Playing Music)

Eclipse kept climbing the stairs towards Celestia's throne room. Every guard the stood in his way was now a lifeless corpse that was completely stripped of all life. Eclipse never felt so powerful in his life...and he was about to feel even more. He smiled as he reached the top steps of the throne room. He slowly opened the door, and found the remaining Elements, and the Princesses conversing. Eclipse shot out a beam of energy from his horn and sent everypony flying in an opposite direction. While they were in mid air, he encased the Elements of Harmony in spheres of magic, and turned them into the very same amulets of which were around his neck. The guard pony that sported blue and white hair was utterly absorbed into the same spheres adding more power.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna recovered. Luna was the first to fire a magic sphere at Eclipse. Due to the fact that he was off guard by absorbing the Elements, the sphere struck him squarely in the mask, and made it burst into pieces. Bits of the mask tumbled to the floor as Eclipse raise his head and his face underneath was reviled to his sisters.

His face was completely burnt off, making scabs and blood fill his face. His eyes were blood-red. His mouth was completely torn along his lip line. This did not shock the princesses.

"Why did you do this to me?"

"Enough, stand down Eclipse."

"But I am more powerful than what you would have ever imagined.", he said as he once again, caught the princesses off guard and absorbed them. They put up a huge fight, but it was inevitable. They were absorbed into his body and he grew larger and his horn and wings were fully repaired. Then, he heard the beat of wings outside. it was Corrosive.

"My lord, the human is slain."

"Very good Corrosive."

"Do you have all of your power yet?"

"Never mind that, there is still one thing you must do.", Eclipse said while staring off into the sky.

"What is that, my lord?"

Eclipse suddenly whirled around, produced his katar, and jabbed Corrosive straight through his stomach. He gasped as the blade entered and he screamed as Eclipse twisted the katar. The blood that flowed out crept along the blade and it flowed back into Eclipse's body.

"My lord. What is the meaning of this?! We had a pact!"

"No, you were the key to my true form. Without your gift, I would never be able to transform.", Eclipse continued as more blood flowed into Eclipse's body.

"You have failed in your life-long quest to protect your sister, and you will endeavor the consequences.", Eclipse began to grow scales along his body. Corrosive was released from the katar and he stumbled backwards.

"You...deceived me..."

"Did you really trust the bearer of the Element of Betrayal? Your downfall will cost your sisters life."

"No..."

Eclipse pulled the blade from Corrosive's body.

Corrosive stumbled backwards and collapsed on the marble floor.

"Rainbow Dash shall join you in death."

Corrosive died.

(End Music)
