Ben wiped the black blood off of his face as he sprayed the last Needle Tooth's face with lead. It fell off of the Zeppelin and Ben turned around to see Shining Armor stab down another Needle Tooth.

"Phew, that's the last of them."

"Okay Shining Armor, should we keep our course for Canterlot."

"Actually, Canterlot is only a few miles away."

Ben was rather bewildered at the speed of the seemingly massive vessel. He looked onwards and found a small white speck resting on a mountain. He suddenly though about the battle that was surely going to take place after he arrived and spoke:

"This is impossible."

"Don't worry Rainbow Dash, I'll take good care of you.", Fluttershy whispered while trying her best to smile amidst the situation. Fluttershy came back across the room with a sort of greenish liquid. She trudged over to Rainbow Dash's bed and brought up the liquid.

"Here, if you drink this, you'll feel much less pain.", Fluttershy said while Rainbow Dash took a hold of the open bottle with her teeth. She knocked her head back and the liquid flowed down Rainbow Dash's throat. Right when the liquid was completely swallowed, she recoiled in disgust.

"Blahg! That was the worst thing that I ever tasted Fluttershy! Ugh, the aftertaste!", Rainbow Dash pouted.

"Oh, well...I'm sorry about that. But look, your attitude is back, so I think you're feeling better."

"Huh, I guess your right. Uh, sorry and thank you Fluttershy."

Fluttershy guessed that this was pretty much what her life was meant for and she squealed with joy, she leaped onto Rainbow Dash, giving her a bear hug.

"Wha- I just said I'm sorry and thank you!"

Fluttershy opened her eyes and felt rather sheepish.

"Oops, sorry.", she said as she hovered off of Rainbow Dash. Then, a knock came on the door, and hearing where it was centered, the pony must have been a little less than 6 feet tall. Rainbow Dash motioned for Fluttershy to exit. She didn't guess why Rainbow Dash would want her to leave all of the sudden, then she remembered what Pinkie Pie said about the Rainbow Dash and Ben.

"Really Pinkie Pie? Is that true?", Fluttershy asked while she had a milkshake in her hooves.

"Of course it is! I mean, don't you see the two so happy with each other?", Pinkie Pie answered while she handed a bag of blueberry muffins to a grey mare with crossed eyes.

"Just a minute Fluttershy. You're welcome Ditzy Do!", Pinkie Pie shifted to who she was talking to.

"Mmmfph mmmpf mpf."

"You too! Bye-bye!", Pinkie Pie waved a hoof while Ditzy trotted for the exit looking as cheerful as always.

"So, where was I...oh yeah! So I was saying, don't you see them so happy together?"

"Well, I guess so..."

"Wait, what are you two talking about? Is it about Ben?", Ditzy asked after hearing over and setting down her bag of  muffins.

"Oh yeah! Did you know that Ben and Rainbow Dash are totally in love with each other?", Pinkie giggled.

"Really?! But, Ben is so different!", one of Ditzy's eyes moved off center.

"Oh, but they always look so happy together! And, I know for a fact that Rainbow Dash has a crush on him!"

"How do you think Ben has a crush on her?", Fluttershy asked timidly.

"Don't you remember on nightmare night? I saw them playing in some hay with each other! They were laughing and throwing hay at each other, and at one point, they were staring into each other's eyes, and had the perfect time to kiss!", Pinkie Pie squealed while she hopped up and down.

"Wow, I didn't know that Ben and Rainbow Dash actually did that. How did you know they played in some hay like that?"

"Because, I always knew that they had something for each other!"

"I never would have guess that Ben liked Rainbow Dash like that.", Ditzy said before looking at her mail list.

"Oops! I'm running late! See ya all later!", Ditzy flew out of the Sugar Cube Corner and nearly got hit by the flying ice cream truck.

"Bye Pinkie Pie. And, uh...thanks for all the information.", Fluttershy whispered.

Fluttershy snapped back to reality.

"Oh, okay Rainbow Dash.", she whispered with a blush on her face.

"Huh? No! That's not what I meant!", Rainbow Dash noticed the blush on her face. Before she could say anything else, Fluttershy had exited. When Fluttershy had gone out the door, Ben spoke to her quickly.

"Thank you Fluttershy. For all that you've done."

"Oh, you don't have to thank me Benjamin. That is, if its okay with you..."

"It's fine."

Ben stepped around Fluttershy and he trudged into the wooden cabin. He found Rainbow Dash on the very same bed where he had dropped her off. Ben closed the door and he walked over to Rainbow Dash. She appeared to be knocked out.

Ben approached her and he knelled down. He began to stroke her mane. But, much to Ben's surprise, she swatted away his hand.

Rainbow Dash tensed up a bit and she slunk beneath the covers.

"Rainbow Dash? What's wrong?"

"I..."

Rainbow Dash just had to let it out.

"I...I...", she started.

"I just don't want anypony to find out about us!", Rainbow Dash suddenly burst out, which made Ben stumble backwards.

"You just had to look at me that way when we were on the deck! IN FRONT OF EVERYPONY!", she screamed.

"Dashie-"

"Don't Dashie me! If anypony finds out about what's going on between you and me, MY LIFE IS RUINED! It's enough that you tried to kiss me on the bridge!", she began to get tears in her eyes. Ben tightened his glare on her.

"You were acting so different before. When I took you into here."

He got up and turned his back.

"Can you just leave? This wasn't my idea in the first place anyways.", Rainbow Dash sulked.

Ben suddenly stopped and spoke without turning around.

"Wasn't your idea in the first place...?", Ben lowered his head and gritted his teeth,"What do you mean, wasn't your idea...?"

"I-I didn't say that Ben. I think you're-"

"What is going on?!", Ben turned around and gritted his teeth.

"No, Ben, I didn't-"

"Tell me. What's this all about? Now."

"I...I'm not telling you anything."

"You're the Element of Loyalty! What are you hiding from me?!", Ben shouted.

"It's all faked!"

Ben stopped.

"It's all faked! You were supposed to fall in love with me! Otherwise, you would have no purpose to save Equestria!"

"Rainbow Dash...what the fuck are you talking about?"

"Okay...Princess Celestia had told me that a creature was going to descend from the sky and he needed to have a reason to save us all. I think she meant that she had sensed Eclipse's return, and had to call forth a hero in order for him or her to save Equestria. Out of all of the beings she could have pulled from space and time, she chose you. She told us all about you, and I was of course the one that was suspicious about you."

Rainbow Dash took a moment to rest, then continued.

"I was told by the Princess herself to give you a reason to stay and grow to defend Equestria from Eclipse. Without you, Equestria has no chance at survival. So, Celestia asked from to befriend you, but Twilight said that wouldn't be enough. She...she said I had to make you fall in love with me. And...it worked. But then...I-"

Ben was staring at the ground, speechless, until he decided to open his mouth.

"Let me fucking guess, you fell in love with me in the process."

"If you want the truth. Yes Ben."

"Fuck, whenever something good comes into my life, it is taken away."

Ben got up and put his arms to the sides of Rainbow Dash. He lowered his head and he opened his mouth in front of her face.

"DO YOU HEAR ME?! WHEN EVER SOMETHING GOOD COMES INTO MY LIFE, IT IS TAKEN AWAY!!! My whole life has been a waste! My brother was shot to peices, my mom died and I hardly ever got to see her face, my dad abused me like an ugly dog, I came to Equestria after I died, and the mare that I thought loved me, turned out to be AN ACTRESS! No wonder you let me sleep with you! THIS WAS ALL A FRAUD!"

Rainbow Dash was crying as Ben continued to yell in random directions.

"But Ben-"

"SHUT UP!"

Ben turned around and shouted with all of his might.

Rainbow Dash stumbled backwards and dug up the covers of the bed over her body to prevent feeling vulnerable.

"TELL ME! WHERE THE FUCK IS THE AUDIENCE?! This is all fake! Where is the god damn crowd to start throwing you roses, because you faked this so well?!"

"Ben...please stop...", Rainbow Dash sobbed.

"For some innocent and colorful ponies, you sure have a sick sense of mind.", Ben snarled.

"Wait, this doesn't mean that you'll-", Rainbow Dash was cut off by Ben.

"It's tempting, but no. I won't abandon saving this world...", Ben stood up and he walked towards the door.

"...but if I succeed, I'm going home to Earth. One way or another."

Ben ducked his head as he walked through the door.

"Ben wait...!"

It was too late. The human had exited and the pegasus was just sitting upright on the bed. Rainbow Dash flopped down and for once, because she knew that Ben was going to leave her...

...she cried.
