“Hay gears can we talk?” Scootaloo said nervously.

“a-ah, yeah” Gears said with the same nervousness.

The two walked to the corner of the room and started to chat. “I don’t know how to ask this, but I’m just going to come out with it. Why do you hide how you really look?” Scootaloo said

“Oh, well, I don’t want to get into it, but all am going to say is everyone prefers this.” Gears said gesturing to himself.

“Ok, if you don’t want to talk now it's fine, but if you ever do, I’m here.” Scootaloo said

Gears only blushed and walked to his crippled friend. Scootaloo thought she might have embarrassed him when in truth Gears was flustered on her offer. “If a mare takes interested, that means they like you, right?” Gears asked rainbow.

“Of course, you're just overthinking it, just be cool and be yourself she will fall for you yet.” Rainbow said

“Gears sorry if I overstepped.” Scootaloo said.

“Oh, no you didn’t, it's ok.” Gears said.

“Really?” Scootaloo question

Yeah, it's fine and thanks, few others ask me about that.” Gears said nervously

“Now that you filles are done being sappy, let's get to it.” Rainbow joked.

“Ok, three months later we went after the scientist that had a link to celesta.” Rainbow said

Rainbow dash, Gilda, and Garble
0500 hour, January 1, 1971

The helicopter dropped everyone off aside from one, Gears decided to be an eye in the sky and provide covering fire when needed. As the helicopter hovered overhead, Rainbow, Gilda, and Grable walked to the boat near the dock. Once they got there, they were about ten men with the latest weapons that bets can get. As the men were waiting for the trio to pick a vehicle. Once they made their decision, they got into a boat.

“Listen up thanks to the defector we got info on Celesta's weapons but we need one egghead alive now keep your head’s down and we will go home safe.” Rainbow said

Everyone yelled a battle cry and got on their respective boats, as Rainbow was going to the steering wheel then garble appeared next to her.

“mogu ya sest' za rul' (may I take the wheel)” Garble said

“Gilda!” Rainbow said

“He wants to drive.” Gilda said

“Fine, go nuts.” Rainbow said

As she walked out the cockpit, she got on the turret that was mounted on the left, Gilda was on the right of the boat and with the same guns. As they got moving, there was a little chat.

“kuda my idem (where are going)” garble said

“We're going to hoof point, it's northwest of here,” Gilda said

“eti idioty ne znayut, zachem nam deystvitel'no nuzhen etot uchenyy. (these morons don't know why we really want this scientist.)” Garble said

“Yeah, wait till they see.” Gilda said.

“See what?” Rainbow said abet suspicions.

“See how awesome we're going to be.” Gilda lied.

As the boat started to move, everyone had a mixture of excitement and dread. This will require them to leave no evidence of their actions this day as ordered by princess Twilight herself they can’t afford to mess things up. As the boat got away from the dock, there were Celestas’ defenses coming in as they started to shoot at the boats. Rainbow was the first to retaliate She started firing the mounted MG-42 at the defenses. She saw five enemy boats with a sun cutie mark on them. She shot one with the MG she was using and barely managed to destroy it. Gilda on the other claw was shooting at the another boat.

“The sun paint is making this really easy.” Gilda said

“Don’t underestimate your enemy, Gilda.” Rainbow said

“Whatever thesis losers can’t beat us.” Gilda said

As the two were fighting a boat that blindsided them, pushed up against them and men started boarding the boat. As they got on, Rainbow got off the turret, lifted her M1 garand, and fired on the boarding party. There were six men on that board, they were focusing fire on the cockpit. Rainbow capitalized on their lack of focus and fired a round into one of their heads as that occurred and the remaining five charged her. Rainbow dodged the first swing and countered it by bucking the pony’s head that dared to attack her. The four men continued their attack on Rainbow, she once again countered. She pulled out a combat knife and stabbed the dragon combatant in the head, killing him instantly. “Three left!” Rainbow said. She saw them pointing guns at her. She picked up the dragon’s corpse and used it as a shield as they riddled the body with bullets trying to kill the pegasus behind it. She pulled the pin on a grenade that was on the corpse and kicked the corpse to the three soldiers and said, “he’s your friend, not mine.” as she did that the grenade went off killing all three men in one move.

She was walking back to the turret but before she got there, the pony she knocked out earlier tackled her to the ground and was about to kill her, but just then a gun was fired and the pony had a hole in his eye. He fell on Rainbow, which she promptly threw the body to the side and looked up at Gilda, who fired the round.

“Why didn’t you help me when six guys bored are boat?” Rainbow question.

“I was busy taking out the PT boats.” Gilda answered

“gde zdes' (were here)” garble said.

“He said were here.” Gilda said

“I can see that. Ok let's get the fuck egghead and get out of here.” Rainbow said

As they made their way to the lighthouse, they traded carefully once they got to the lighthouse. They saw a friendly helicopter above with a familiar looking purple stallion with a Kar98k. The weapon's muzzle was smoking due to it being fired recently. The group found out why extremely quickly they saw the other men, along with at least twenty corpses on the ground. A soldier walked up to the three of them and addressed rainbow.

“Commander, we have secured the outside and are waiting on your go.” the soldier said

“We're going in, Garble you take point.” Rainbow order.

As the trio entered the lighthouse, they noticed a lack of resistance. But they continued to move, though the home as they got to the only room in the entire place. As they entered the room, they saw a stallion in a lab coat holding his hoofs up as garble was walking to the stallion.

“gotovy postavit' drakonov naverkhu.(ready to put the dragonlands on top.)” Garble said.

“Yes, I am.” the stallion said with eagerness.

“Gilda.” Rainbow asked.

“He asked are you ready to help.” Gilda said.

“Ok time to get out of here.” Rainbow said.
