Scootaloo, and Gears

Scootaloo was in shock. How does Gears know this old mare? What is she to him? Why do I care so much about this? Scootaloo had a lot of questions.

“Hay Scootaloo you still with us.” Gears asked in concern.

Yeah, Yeah just confused. How do you know her again? Scootaloo asked.

“She’s a friend. We fought during the war.” Gears said.

“Wait, you fought during the war, how?” Scootaloo question.

“He’s older than he looks kid, you know you should tell your mare friend your age, Gears.” Rainbow dash said.

“Mare friend! We not- I mean it not that I don’t- it just- I’ll shut up now,” Gears said with a beat, red blush on his face.

Scootaloo with a similar shade of red on her face said, “no me and him aren't a thing. Look we need information on Gilda the griffon that’s what Gears said you know a lot about.”

“Yeah, I got what you need.” Rainbow dash said

“Ok, can we get that intel, mainly how she got to this point.” Scootaloo said.

“Yeah sure, Gears you fill in the blanks on some of this.” Rainbow said.

0600 hours, October 4, 1970

Rainbow dash got out of the Jeep and walked up to the griffon’s home as she was about to enter she heard a voice. She turned around and saw a stallion with a dark purple coat and a faded pink mane.

“Gears is that you?” rainbow asked

“Yes, it is me, ma'am.” he said

“You look a lot less scaly than usual,” she said

“Yeah, I just made a spell that can hide things that aren't too appealing to others.” Gears said.

“You know you need to stop caring about what everyone thinks and just be yourself,” Rainbow dash told him

“fine” Gears said

As that conversation was over, rainbow knocked on the door and after a few minutes Gilda opened the door. As she led them inside, Rainbow committed that she hadn't been inside her home.

“Ok, so mission is, get a sergeant that has intel on celestial’s secret weapons, and grab a document on a scientist.” Gilda said

“Why do we need intel on a scientist?” Gears asked.

“Command didn’t tell us why they just said to do it.” Gilda said ,

Gilda is right, we got to do this Gears no matter the reason.

“I don't like it.” Gears said

“We're supposed to get shit done, nothing else.” Rainbow said

“Yes, ma'am” Gears said begrudgingly

“How about some rum Dash.” Gilda said

“Yeah, pass that shit.” Rainbow said

Gloom Forest

1250hours, October 4, 1970

The three were dropped at the entrance of the forest, then the three started walking through the forest doing their best not to get caught. As the three got to the base camp, they saw a lot of celestial’s soldiers. They all went and got better positions, Gears got to a hill to snipe with his kar98k while Rainbow got to the far left side of the camp with her M1918 B.A.R and wait for the signal, Gilda was going to the far right to give the signal. As Gilda gave the signal rainbow started her attack, she fired her gun at the guards. She shot through the two of the guards and killed them as that was happening. Gears were shooting his rifle, covering rainbow’s six. He shot a soldier that was charging at Rainbow dash. Rainbow was fighting but then she heard a shot near her head she ducked and then she looked behind her, she saw a stallion with a round in his head.

“That's a clean shot.” Rainbow Dash committed before continuing to fight.

Gilda was fighting her way through the camp. She saw the Solar soldiers going to leave the camp; she saw a red barrel near the entrance. As the Solar soldier's vehicle was leaving, Gilda time it as they got close to the exit she shot the barrel causing an explosion blowing up the truck and killing everyone inside it. As the numbers of the enemy soldiers dwindle, they all Fought harder, as rainbow dash and Gilda meet up in the middle.

“So you seem to be as crafty as ever.” Dash told Gilda.

“You know me rainbow, I’m a fuckin beast,” Gilda said

As the two kept fighting, Gears was taking shots at everyone who was getting in the way of the objective. As rainbow and Gilda were at the target building. As they entered the building, they saw an assortment of bodies as they went to the end of the building they saw the HVI. The sergeant shot the two guards he had with him, as the sergeant walked to Gilda. Rainbow was eyeing him intently trying to see what he will do.

“Rad videt' tebya, Gil'da,” the sergeant said

“What did he say?” Rainbow asked.

“He said we should get moving,” Gilda said

“Ok, what's his name?” Rainbow question.

“Menya zovut Garbl” the sergeant said.

“Gilda translation.” Rainbow said.

“His name is Grable,” Gilda said.

“Ok, well ask can he speak equestrian?” Rainbow ordered.

“YA mogu, no ne pozvolyayu yey ob etom znat'.” Garble said.

“No, he can’t.” Gilda said.

“Shit, ok let's move.” Rainbow said

As the three walked out, Gears was walking towards them then Gears said. “Ok we're clear, let's move before more yellows show up.”

“Net der'ma, ty, blyad', idiot!” Garble said.

“zatknis', pytalis' pomoch'” Gears said angrily

“Wait, you can speak dragon Gears.” Rainbow said shocked.

“Well, looks like you don’t have to translate anymore, Gilda.” Rainbow said

“Ah yeah, lucky me.” Gilda said, sarcastically.

“What, I thought griffins don’t like unnecessary risk.” Gears said.

“That right, you're an unnecessary risk. How do we know you can even understand everything he says?” Gilda said ,

“My father was a dragon, and equestrian is my second language. I had to learn it.” Gears said.

“That Good enough for me.” Rainbow said.

“Fine, let's just get a move on.” Gilda said.

“Well, that was interesting, but not what we need. Can you tell us more about Gilda and Garble.” Scootaloo said.

“Yeah, but can you get me some water I'm thirsty?” Rainbow dash said.

“I got.” Gears said

As he left the room rainbow told Scootaloo, “can you help him, he still using that fucking spell and he didn’t look comfortable when I mention it. So please, not for my sake but for his.”

“I’ll try but no promises.” Scootaloo said.

“Thanks kid.” Rainbow said.

Gears entered the room with a glass of water and handed it to Rainbow. As she got it she drank from it before saying “ok where was I.”
