There are three miniature engines on the island of Sodor.Theres Rex the green engine with Applebloom,Bert the blue engine with Sweetie Belle,And Theres Mike the red engine with Scootaloo.He can be rather grumpy sometimes and Mike doesn’t like taking passengers.Scootaloo like taking passengers with Mike.But,She doesn’t like getting into trouble.One day,Mr.Duncan came to see Mike and Scootaloo.

“Mike,Scootaloo,With Rex being repaired at the sheds,You will take his passengers.”He said.

“Ugh...But,Sir,You know i only take goods trains.”Said Mike.

“Oh,Come on,Mike.This’ll be fun.”Said Scootaloo.But,Mike was still grumpy after they picked up the passengers.Just then,There was a hissing noise from Mikes boiler.

“Huh?”Said Mike confused.”What was that?”

“I don’t know?”Said Scootaloo.”But,We must carry on.”On the way to the next station,There where signs for engines to whistle in order let everyone know they are coming.But,Mike whistled at everything.When they reached the station,Scootaloo inspected Mike to see what was that hissing noise.“Hmm.I doesn’t make sense.Everything looks ok.”

“Oh please!Its just nothing.Now,Let’s get this job over with!”Groaned Mike.But,On the way back,Scootaloo heard a clanging sound.

“That’s weird.”She said.Suddenly,They saw cow was on the line.“Oh come on!I hate things getting in our way!”

“Me,Too!”Whistled Mike as he puffed forward slowly.”Shoo!Shoo!”But,Still,The cow didn’t move.This made Mike and Scootaloo very cross.

“Right!This is the last straw!Get out of our way,You silly animal!”Scolded Scootaloo.

“MOVE IT!!!”Shouted Mike.Then,There was trouble.Mike got so cross and he whistled so hard,His whistle cap shot right off and into the air like a rocket!The cow was scared and ran off the track as the cap landed in a field.

“Haha!So,Thats what was loose.”Laughed Scootaloo.Mike felt embarrassed.Scootaloo tried to find the cap.But,It was no use.Luckily,She had a hand whistle.But,On the rest of the way,Mike was still sad what he had done.Back at the yards,Rex and Bert laughed.So did a Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.

“That was funny!Your whistle as a rocket!”Laughed Sweetie Belle.Mike felt embarrassed of himself.He knew if he hadn’t been so cross,He wouldn’t have lost his whistle.

“Don’t worry.”Said Scootaloo.”We’ll get you a new whistle tomorrow.”That made Mike feel better.
