Canterlot Castle

This was the moment that the two Royal Sisters that never thought had come so soon. Their very last Summer Sun Celebration.

Celestia couldn't believe that after 1,000 years, she and her sister would pass on the throne of Equestria to the next princess, on by the name of Twilight Sparkle. But before they were to hand over the throne, they wanted one last year as the rulers, so they could be alongside their subjects once more.

As they sat at the dining table, enjoying their breakfast, Luna started a discussion with her older sister. "Oh, dearest sister! I cannot believe that our glorious reign has come to an end! This is our final Summer Sun Celebration! What do you plan on having occur at our very last Summer Sun Celebration?"

"Have patience, Luna. I know whatever has been though up by the Royal Event Planner will be as big as his talent and the event needed for an appropriate royal sendoff,"

"You mean an event bigger than the Equestria Games?"

"Yes, Luna,"

"And Nightmare Night?!"

"Yes. Luna,"

"Bigger than Hearts and Hooves Day, Hearth's Warming Eve and Hearth's Warming Day???!!!"

"Oh, this is going to be bigger than all of those combined! It is only fitting for us, and our final year as rulers of Equestria,"

"This is making me even more excited for the day! I can't wait to see what ideas he has for us!"

It was at this point that the Royal Guard at the entrance to the dining hall opened up the door and announced, "Your Highness! I present, the Royal Event Planner,"

The guard then stepped aside, to reveal the Royal Event Planner. A white coated unicorn stallion with a light blue mane entered the room. However, there was something off about him. As he walked towards the table, he staggered with every step he took and on occasion, he would let out a hiccup.

He was obviously drunk.

As he staggered towards the table, the Princess of the Night just stared at him in disbelief. This was the Royal Event Planner? Was he usually this drunk? And how many drink had he just had? In order not to disrespect him in any way, she just turned to her older sister and whispered, "He is the Royal Event Planner, sister?"

"Of course he is! Why do you ask?"

"It's just... well... He does appear to be a bit... how should I put this? Intoxicated,"

"Oh, hush! It can't be that bad! And I'm sure that he has plenty of ideas in that mind of his for our final big celebration!" And with that, both of the princesses turned to the stallion who was now doing the closest thing to a bow that his drunken state allowed him to do.

"You may be seated," Celestia told him, and he set down in his seat. In the light of this, the dicussion that would change many things began. "Good afternoon, dearest friend," Celestia began, as the stallion slumped down in the chair, a goofy smile plastered on his face, "I hope you have been enjoying your night. And I'm sorry about having to call you in during your time with your friends, but it is of the utmost importance,"

"Awwww, there is... *hic* nothing to be sorry... *hic* for! B-being... *hic* the Royal Event Planner is what... *hic* I live for, your Highness!"

"Before our sister asks what ideas that you have for our last celebration, we must ask; How many drinks has thou had before you came here?"

"Ooooohhhh, I don't know, princess. Probably about... *hic* seven?"

"O... kay, then," Luna replied. She had a feeling that he had had more than just seven drinks.

"Getting back to the topic at hoof, we are in need of your services once again. As you should know, the very last Summer Sun Celebration in our reign is coming up soon and me and Luna have been thinking. Since it is our last celebration as the Princesses of Equestria, we want our last celebration to be the biggest of all! And I am thinking that we need a big event to occur at the celebration. So, we came to ideas,"

The Event Planner just nodded.

"So. Do you have any ideas for the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration?"

"I, uhh... *hic* only have oooone idea. But I'm... *hic* pretty sure that this event will be something that will... *hic* trump any other ideas that I have. Also, I'm going to have to... *hic* keeps most of the... *hic* information about it secret, as it shall be a... *hic* surpise,"

"Oooh, how lovely! I really love surprises! Well, that leaves me with only a few questions to ask. Will this event attract big crowds?"

"Yessss, your Highness! Big crowds. HUGE crowds, even! It is going to be an event that Equestrians will never forget! Yes, creatures from... *hic* all over Equestria will never forget your last Summer Sun... *hic* Celebration,"

"How about attraction? Will there be anything for everycreature that attends?"

"Of course *hic*! In fact, the extra events come... *hic* free of charge in this event I have planned! Things like 'go-karts', 'food stalls' and many other wondrous things that anycreature of... *hic* any age should enjoy!"

"Excellent! Food? With a massive crowd of creatures all over Equestria will require a large amount of different types of food that only certain species can stomach,"

"Yes, I have that... *hic* thought out as well! These... *hic* magnificent mobile food stalls called 'food trucks' will be there, as will be our own food stalls. According to my estimates, businesses in Ponyville will get a massive income boost with this event, so everypony will be a winner!"

"Perfect! And the final test; Will there be cake?" When Celestia asked this question, Luna rolled her eyes, without her older sister seeing.

"As if you had to... *hic* had to ask! Not only will Sugarcube Corner be open, but I will do what I can to get as many mobile bakeries to be in Ponyville during the event. There will be plenty of cake for you and others to eat!"

"Even more perfect! Is there anything else that I shall need to know?"

"One other thing *hic*. Well, this event is native to the planet of Earth. I'll need to go over there to organize the event with the humans in order to get it here,"

To Celestia, while a big shock, it wasn't a problem she couldn't deal with. She knew of the portals that lead to Earth, and that the human world and Equestria had a friendship ever since the portals first appeared. However, the stallion had something massive planned for the big day, and she wanted to see it through.

Also, the promise of all-you-can-eat cake made his idea all the more enticing.

So, without a further thought, Celestia then finished the planning. "Well then. It appears that we have make up our minds on what the big event shall be. Come tomorrow, you shall go to the human world, and bring this event to Ponyville for the Summer Sun Celebration! But as of now, you must go get some sleep and get ready for the next day. You are going on a trip to Earth!"

And after getting up from his seat, the stallion performed another clumsy-looking bow and staggered away.

After he had left the room, Luna called out to one of her guards. "Guard, please escort the Royal Event Planner up to his room. Just to be sure he doesn't hurt himself," The guard she called for bowed and trotted after the drunk stallion.

And while Celestia got back to her dinner, and Luna started her breakfast, she wondered what possible idea that the Royal Event Planner had in store for her and Luna...
