A year passed after Raindrop's birth, and Scootaloo was now living peacefully and happily with her younger sister and her parents. But these past few months Scootaloo was starting to think about something else. Her biological father. Of course she was very happy to have Soarin as her stepfather, but she still wanted to know a little more about her real father.

Scootaloo came home after a day of school and went into the living room and sat on a couch near her parents.

"Hi Scoots how was your day at school?" Soarin asked

"It was great, I think"

"Is this serious Squirt? Are you sure there's nothing else bothering you?" Rainbow Dash said

Scootaloo sighed deeply and decided to open up with her parents.

"If I say will you be mad at me?"

Rainbow Dash and Soarin shook their heads.

"But of course not Scootaloo, you know you can tell us anything," Soarin said.

"Ok..." Scootaloo took a deep breath again and started talking

"Well I've only been thinking lately and ... What happened to my real father? I mean, not that I'm complaining about Soarin as my father but ... I just wanted to clear my doubts."

Rainbow Dash didn't know what to say at that moment. That question really took her by surprise, and it was obvious that she didn't want to talk too much about it, because she didn't know what Soarin's reaction would be. But she knew he wouldn't be mad.

"Scootaloo.... I ..."

"Please tell me, I just want to know who my father was, I promise I'll never touch this subject again if you tell me"

Rainbow Dash took a deep breath and then looked at Soarin who gave her a nod of approval.

"Scootaloo your father ... He was the first pony I had, we dated for a year and a half and well ... Soon after we had you"

"Only that?" Rainbow Dash took a deep breath again

"Right after you were born he ... He started to get violent, he drank a lot and sometimes even hit me and you when you were a baby, so I left him. Soon after I never knew him. His parents said he disappeared into the world, I really don't know what happened to him ... "

Scootaloo didn't know what to say now, the room was silent for a long time until finally she decided to say something.

"Do you think I'll ever meet him?"

"I do not know..."

"Oh ..."

"Well girls what do you guys think of us hanging out together? It's been a long time since we did that" Soarin said trying to brighten the mood a bit

"That sounds great Soar" Dash said

Soon after they heard a baby cry from one of the bedrooms. Dash was about to get up but Soarin stopped her.

"Don't worry Dashie, I'll see what happened to Raindrop. You stay here with Scootaloo in the meantime," he said as he kissed her cheek.

"Okay then"

Soarin then entered the room leaving his wife and daughter alone in the room.

After a while they heard a knock on the door.

"I open the door!" Scootaloo said as ela ran to the door and opened it.

"Hello, Rainbow Dash is home? I'd like to talk to her" a male pony said

"Ok alright I'll tell her you're here, just wait a minute" Scootaloo said approaching her mother in the room.

"Mom has a stud wanting to talk to you at the door"

"Really? I wasn't expecting anyone," Rainbow Dash said suspiciously as she approached the door and when she realized who it was, she stopped for a moment.

"Hello Rainbow, it's been a long time since the last time we met," said the stallion, his skin was dark orange, his mane was dark purple and his eyes were blue.

It was Feather Fire. Rainbow Dash's old boyfriend, and Scootaloo's biological father.

"F-Feather Fire? What are you doing here?" Rainbow Dash said nervously

"Is that any way to welcome someone very important from your past Dash?"

"After what you did to me, I think so"

"Oh come on Dash, I came to win back what I lost in the past"

"Mom who is this stud?" Scootaloo asked a little confused by everything that was going on.

"Scootaloo ... This is Feather Fire, your biological father" Rainbow Dash said

Didn't Scootaloo believe what she just heard, after so long was her biological father finally in front of her? She didn't know how to react, but one part of herself was pretty happy about it and another part was a little in shock.

Feather Fire looked at the door next to Rainbow Dash and smiled.

"Finally this moment has come, I've waited years for it. Just to review the face of this beautiful little filly, you're Scootaloo right?" Feather said

"Y-Yes I am ... Are you Feather Fire, my mother's first boyfriend and my father?" Scootaloo said

"Yes it's me little one, and I'm very glad to see you again" he then looked at Rainbow Dash

"I'm also very happy to see your mother again, now we can be the family we always dreamed of," Feather said.

"Feather I'm sorry to inform you of this but ... I'm now married and already have a new family with this stud I married," Rainbow Dash said firmly, Feather Fire then raised an eyebrow at her.

"Dashie you won't believe it, Raindrop said another word and-" Soarin was cut off when she noticed the stallion in the room with his wife and stepdaughter.

"Sorry I'm disturbing anything?" Soarin said as he held Raindrop in his hooves.

"No I don't think so ..." Dash said nervously

"Oh so you're the current Rainbow Dash's husband right?" Feather Fire said, Soarin then raised an eyebrow at the stallion.

"Yes I am Soarin the Rainbow Dash's husband, and who are you?"

"I'm Feather Fire, Rainbow Dash's old boyfriend"

Soarin was not believing that. His wife's old boyfriend and his stepdaughter's biological father was standing right there in the middle of his office.

"Well I think we should sit down and talk some more what you think?" Feather Fire suggested

Rainbow Dash and Soarin seemed a little disapproving of that, but they wouldn't deny Scootaloo's chance to finally meet her biological father.
