A year passed after Raindrop's birth, and Scootaloo was now living peacefully and happily with her younger sister and her parents. But these past few months Scootaloo was starting to think about something else. Her biological father. Of course she was very happy to have Soarin as her stepfather, but she still wanted to know a little more about her real father.

Scootaloo came home after a day of school and went into the living room and sat on a couch near her parents.

"Hi Scoots how was your day at school?" Soarin asked

"It was great, I think"

"Is this serious Squirt? Are you sure there's nothing else bothering you?" Rainbow Dash said

Scootaloo sighed deeply and decided to open up with her parents.

After a while they heard a knock on the door.

"I open the door!" Scootaloo said as ela ran to the door and opened it.

"Hello, Rainbow Dash is home? I'd like to talk to her" a male pony said

"Ok alright I'll tell her you're here, just wait a minute" Scootaloo said approaching her mother in the room.

"Mom has a stud wanting to talk to you at the door"

"Really? I wasn't expecting anyone," Rainbow Dash said suspiciously as she approached the door and when she realized who it was, she stopped for a moment.

"Hello Rainbow, it's been a long time since the last time we met," said the stallion, his skin was dark orange, his mane was dark purple and his eyes were blue.

It was Feather Fire. Rainbow Dash's old boyfriend, and Scootaloo's biological father.

"F-Feather Fire? What are you doing here?" Rainbow Dash said nervously

"Is that any way to welcome someone very important from your past Dash?"

"Oh come on Dash, I came to win back what I lost in the past"

"Mom who is this stud?" Scootaloo asked a little confused by everything that was going on.

Didn't Scootaloo believe what she just heard, after so long was her biological father finally in front of her? She didn't know how to react, but one part of herself was pretty happy about it and another part was a little in shock.

Feather Fire looked at the door next to Rainbow Dash and smiled.

"Finally this moment has come, I've waited years for it. Just to review the face of this beautiful little filly, you're Scootaloo right?" Feather said

"Y-Yes I am ... Are you Feather Fire, my mother's first boyfriend and my father?" Scootaloo said

"I'm Feather Fire, Rainbow Dash's old boyfriend"

Soarin was not believing that. His wife's old boyfriend and his stepdaughter's biological father was standing right there in the middle of his office.

"Well I think we should sit down and talk some more what you think?" Feather Fire suggested

Rainbow Dash and Soarin seemed a little disapproving of that, but they wouldn't deny Scootaloo's chance to finally meet her biological father.

The four ponies sat in the living room on separate sofas. Rainbow Dash was sitting with Soarin, and Raindrop was in their midst, Scootaloo was sitting with Feather Fire.
Rainbow Dash was that she was not happy about the return of her old boyfriend.

"You know Scootaloo, I always dreamed of having a daughter like you, and my dream finally came true," Feather said.

She was lying on her bed while holding Raindrop on her hooves.

"Rainbow Dash are you okay?" Soarin said as he approached his wife on the bed, which looked worse than ever.

"S-Soarin do you think she will be with him forever?" Dash said as she let some tears fall from her eyes.

"No sweetie, this is only temporary"

"But what if she wants to live with him forever? What if she doesn't want to see me anymore?"

"Dashie, this will never happen, Scootaloo loves you. And you were the best thing that ever happened in her life, she won't give up on you that easy. And I'm sure you won't give up on her either"

"Of course not Soarin, she is my daughter and I would never give up on any of my daughters"

"I know" Soarin said as he placed a wing on Dash's back.

"Soarin I can't be without her anymore, I need to be with her somehow. And I think the way I can be close to her is going to be-"

"Living with her at Feather's house?"

Dash's eyes widened at first but soon after she nodded slowly

"Soarin I don't see any other option, I just can't leave her with that pony she barely knows. But don't worry it will be for a little while, at least until the day of the next court hearing"

The room was quiet for a while afterwards, Soarin leaned over and kissed Dash's cheek and then gave her a loving and understandable smile.

"Dashie, I understand if you make that decision, but know that I will always be here if you need to"

"Thank you for understanding me Soar"

They then leaned over and placed a sweet, soft kiss on each other's lips.

"But you intend to take Raindrop with you," Soarin said pointing to his one-year-old daughter who was among them.

"I don't think so, I don't want her to be around Feather like Scootaloo"

"Ok then"

The next day Rainbow Dash was preparing her bags for her temporary move. Soarin approached her and placed a hoof on her shoulder.

"Are you sure Dashie will be okay?"

"Yes Soarin to be honest I don't want to go, but I need to stay with Scootaloo during this process"

"Okay, but if you need anything you know you can count on me" Dash smiled and kissed Soarin on the cheek

"Yes Soarin I know" She said, right after she approached the sofa where Raindrop who was sitting on the sofa playing with her toys. She then took the filly in her hooves and hugged her.

"You be a good girl while I'm gone. Mommy loves you very much. Your daddy will take good care of you," Dash said and then kissed her filly on the forehead. She then approached Soarin again and placed Raindrop on his hooves.

"I love you, I will be back soon" She said

"We love you too, Dashie" Soarin said

Dash smiled and soon after she was about to leave, when Soarin put a hoof on her shoulder again

"Look if Feather tries anything with you, you will let me know right away ok?"

Dash smiled and placed a soft kiss on Soarin's lips

"Don't worry Soar, I'll be fine"

The three ponies were gathered at the table for dinner, Feather had ordered the pizza that Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo loved.

"Wow, this pizza is delicious, Dad. How did you know I liked this pizza?" Scootaloo said

"Well this is your mother's favorite pizza, I know that because when we were still a couple she always craved this pizza" Feather said looking at Dash who tried to do her best not to make eye contact with him.

"You know Scootaloo, I'm very happy that we are gathered here as a family, the family we always dreamed of"

"Feather we are not a family, and we never will be. My family is just Scootaloo, Soarin and my baby daughter Raindrop" Dash said

Feather then pulled her tightly closer to him for his lips to touch. Rainbow Dash's eyes widened, she tried to break free of him but failed. Feather was still kissing her with brute force.

He pulled away from her and looked her in the eye.

"Am I interrupting something?" A stallion said standing at the door

Rainbow Dash turned to see who it was and saw Soarin with an astonished look at the door.

"You what Dash? Do you finally want to assume that you still love your old boyfriend? So I suggest you do what your heart tells you to do and stop wasting your time with me!" Soarin said in a nervous tone. He then approached Feather and punched him in the face.

"What was that guy?!" Feather said

"I loved her! How can you do that? You knew perfectly well that she was a married mare!"

"I am not to blame if she loves me more, in fact I think she never forgot me"

"Enough you two!" Rainbow Dash said as she flew away

"What's going on here? And why was Mommy crying?" Scootaloo said as she entered the room

"It was nothing Scootaloo, your mother just needs time for her" Soarin said while looking at Feather with a dark look

Rainbow Dash was isolating herself from the world after the incident with Feather. She was worried about everything, but what left her the most was the fact that Soarin didn't love her anymore because of that kiss that Feather stole from her.

She was no longer able to stay away from Soarin. She really needed to talk to him.

She got up from the bed and flew home.

She landed in front of the door and knocked on her for an answer.

The door slowly opened to reveal Soarin with a somber look.

"What do you want Rainbow Dash?"

"Soarin I need to talk to you"

"Say what? There is nothing that can be said"

"Soarin my love, please nothing happened between Feather and me, he kissed me I didn't kiss him back"

"You could have got rid of him"

"I tried! He was too strong for me!" Soarin sighed

"Goodbye Rainbow Dash" He said as he closed the door

"Soarin ... Please ..." She then started to cry a lot at the door with the tears of her life that was being destroyed.

"Hello little sister!" Scootaloo said

"Well now that we're all together again, how about we do something cool tonight?" Soarin suggested

"That looks great sweetheart" Dash said

"My life is complete again ..." Scootaloo thought
