Luna was sitting next to Solaire and Moonclaw, Luna smiled “How have things been going in your Kingdom?”

Solaire smiled “All good, especially since my little sister is back isn’t that right Moony.”

Moonclaw pouted “I don’t like it when you call me that.”

Luna sighed “You will miss it if ever leaves.”

Her mind drifted off for a moment as she thought back to long ago “Hey Lulu.”

Luna pouted “Don’t call me that.”

Luna felt tears in her eyes, Solaire looked at Luna “Are you okay?”

Luna dried her tears “Just thinking about my sister, I miss her so much. She screwed up and now we are both suffering for it, maybe I am hurting more than she is. She at least gets a fresh start while I have to deal with politics and shit in addition to her absence.”

Solaire frowned “She got off light in my opinion, if I did that to the Griffons I would expect Moonclaw to kill me for my actions. We griffons as quite as peaceful as you ponies because of our history and nature the death penalty still exists in our kingdom for heinous crimes.”

Twilight nodded as she entered alongside Sunset Twilight having her axe strapped to her back and Sunset having a sword on her “Glad we agree on something, we don’t have many law but the ones we do have are strictly enforced and the punishments are severe.”

Luna frowned “True, honestly I have been considering removing the Council of Canterlot. All they do is bicker endlessly about nothing!”

Solaire frowned “I have advisors, not a council. They give me advice but in the end it’s up to me to listen to what they say or to ignore them.”

Sunset sighed “Even now we are dealing with Celestia’s problems, what didn’t she screw up?”

Twilight frowned “That brings me to something important have any of you heard of the the Essence Machine?”

Luna frowned ‘”No, I haven’t had much use for rumours why do you ask?”

Twilight shook her head “Well from what I can tell those rumours are true, someone is killing unicorns to make Rainbows in Equestria. Even you and your sister were on their potential kill list, they have been running Equestria from behind the scenes and anyone who opposed them would be killed.”

Luna shouted “What that’s impossible!”

Solaire frowned ‘That would explain why you rainbows look better than the one we make in the rainbow pools.”

Before another they could say anything further a messenger flew in “We have confirmation of a dead unicorn that fell from Cloudsdale, we wish for your assistance?”

Twilight grimaced “Well let’s sign this paper saying we will help each other and then figure out who is responsible for before it gets any worse.” After a quick discussion of a few rules between them they all signed the paper and headed to Ponyville on the double.

Meanwhile in Ponyville Cloudy Skies and Applejack followed Pinkamena , Applejack frowned “What are you?”

Pinkamena giggled evily “I am Pinkie’s madness you could say, I am kept in check by Pinkie only.”

They arrived at Sugarcube Corner, they were lead into Pinkie’s room where Pinkamena pressed a button next to a bookshelf which sunk into the floor revealing an elevator. The three of them entered the elevator, Cloudy Days grimaced as she looked at the two bodies “Where are we going?”

Pinkamena smiled “You’ll see.”

The door opened, as they got out they saw a high tech facility with tons of computers with ponies operating them, they saw a rainbow maned mare with a lab coat on standing there with a frown. The mare turned around “Go and make your cupcakes somewhere else Pinkamena, I need speak to them.”

Pinkamena nodded as she dragged the bodies away into a small kitchen, Applejack grimaced “Rainbow Dash why are you down here?”

Rainbow sighed “There is a legacy of rainbow pegasi, we have an ancient titan sealed within us known as Tartaran, the Rainbow Factory has been stealing magic to fuel his release and bring our world to it’s end.”

Cloudy Skies frowned “How can we help you stop them?”

Rainbow frowned “I don’t know but here you are safe from them. No-one knows you were here.”

Cloudy Skies looked at the floor for a few moments “Maybe my sister and former student can help?”

Rainbow blinked “Sister, student… oh I see now you’re Celestia aren’t you?”

Applejack eyes widened before she scowled “Get away from me you monster!”

Cloudy began to sob on the floor, Rainbow put a wing over her “It will be alright you made mistake but with time it will be forgiven.”

Cloudy dried her tears “If there is anyway I can help you then I will.”

Rainbow smiled “Welcome to the Rainbow Warriors, Equestria’s greatest guardians and those who have been doing their best to end the Rainbow Factory.” Cloudy smiled not realising that the final battle for Equestria’s peace would end with her actions.
