Twilight and Spike appeared in the meeting room, Celestia sighed “It’s a bit late for diplomacy but would join me for dinner.”

Twilight glared “I would like to discuss some personal things with you, so yes.”

Spike frowned “Should I be here?”

Twilight smiled as she lifted him up “You don’t have to be, you could go to the kitchen.”

Spike shook his head “I will stay, I want to prevent you two form murdering each other.”

Twilight’s smile became slightly more forced “Very well.”

Celestia frowned “How does feel to be running a Kingdom?”

Twilight forced a smile “Quite well, I think you’d like to know I found Sunset and she succeeded, it was a very impressive feat if I do say so myself.”

Celestia gritted her teeth “She didn’t, she couldn’t have…”

Twilight nodded as she extended her wings “Unlike me she wasn’t chosen to ascend instead she managed to break into the realm of ascension and ascend that way, quite a remarkable feat one I thought previously to be impossible.”

Celestia growled “The realm of ascension is sacred, to break into it is a…”

Twilight’s voice boomed “You have no right to judge her, how many times have you abandoned those who needed you, three times and how many more times will it be before you learn!”

Before Twilight could say another word, Blueblood walked in with a grin “Hello Twilight.”

Twilight gritted her teeth “Now he’s here.” She spat “What do you want Blueblood?!”

Blueblood grinned as he took a seat “Now now Twilight there is no need for violence, we can handle this peacefully.”

Twilight burst into laughter before she grinned at him “I am not the same merciful pony I was before and I suggest you get out of here before I decide to make you a mare.”

Twilight’s horn glowed as she quipped “Well from now on you’re a Princess of Equestria, enjoy your day.”

Blueblood shrieked as she felt her body changing ran out of the room, Celestia frowned “That was uncalled for.”

Twilight screamed “Are you kidding me, your brat of a nephew has been treating mares like shit since he was old enough to sleep with them! You act like you’re so high and mighty but while you sit on your throne ponies like him are treating other ponies like dirt!”

Spike grimaced “Enough fighting you two, it’s getting late I’m going to take a nap in the corner.” Twilight nodded at him with a smile as he fell asleep.

Before Celestia could say anything Luna flew in “I could hear your arguing from the roof. Sister I believe you are not handling this with properly, I’ll take care of this.”

Celestia huffed as she left room, Luna frowned “Sorry about my sister, she’s been under a lot of pressure of late.”

Twilight raised an eyebrow “What do you mean pressure?”

Luna frowned “To put it bluntly Equestria has lost faith in her ability to protect them, in truth they have even considered removing her, appointing me as sole ruler of Equestria.”

Twilight’s jaw dropped in shock “You’re joking right!”

Luna shook her head “Hardly, the only reason the counsel didn’t go through with it was because I forbade it. There is even a new group of Moonlight Empire Supremists going around attacking statues of my sister, and burning efficacies of her on pyres, I have my night guard trying to bring them down but their numbers are increasing.”

Twilight frowned “I will gladly provide some of my forces to help take down these cultists, that is unacceptable.”

Luna nodded “I agree but enough of that “ Luna smiled “I’m glad your safe Twilight, I was so worried when you left.”

Twilight sighed “I am not the same mare I was, I have a lot of blood on my hooves.”

Luna frowned “I understand completely, I have fought countless battles. It gets easier to cope with, you start to enjoy after a while.”

Twilight nodded looking away “I got that feeling once, I haven’t honestly had a fight like that thought since before Stature died.”

Luna frowned “You cared for him, you loved him too I imagine.”

Twilight nodded grimly “I imagined we would get married one day until died at the hands of Storm King possessed by Sombra.”

Luna frowned “Cadence told us you spared him, why?”

Twilight frowned “He wasn’t evil, he just lost control of his dark magic and I had to free him from the curse.”

Luna smiled “You’re a good mare, maybe a scarred one but a good one. Now come on there’s a guest room prepared for you.” Twilight nodded levitating Spike onto her back, she then headed to a spare room they had for her to rest her head for the matters of diplomacy they would have to handle the following day.
