Twilight was smiling as her subjects were giving the Umbrum the warmest of welcomes, she even saw a few Umbrum kissing, one with a pony, another with a changeling. Sombra, Radiant Hope and Tempest had followed Twilight into her castle.

Sunset galloped over to her giving her a hug “You’re back, I was expecting you to be gone longer.”

Sombra blinked in confusion “Are Alicorns this common in this era?”

Twilight shook her head “There are five now, anyway come with me.”

Hope frowned “What do you have to help us find Princess Amore.”

Sunset blinked “Who are these two?”

Twilight sighed as they headed to the Throne Room “That is Sombra and his marefriend Radiant Hope, turners out all the bad things he’s done are because he didn’t know how to control his magic.” They entered the throne room, Twilight frowned “There is a door here holding a bunch of stuff I took from the Storm King” she opened the door and pointed to a statue of a unicorn, I saw pictures Princess Amore in the castle and this looked a lot like her.”

Sombra blinked as he scanned it “Almost all the shards are here, we just need to find the last few.”

Twilight frowned “There is a good chance Equestria has the remaining ones, the Storm King was very through. He had searched pretty much everywhere for them, the only place he never went was Equestria.”

Sombra grimaced “I’d rather not go there.”

Twilight and Sunset frowned as they said in complete sync “I don’t blame you.”

Hope frowned “I’m guessing bad memories.” They both nodded, Hope sighed “Great, now what?”

Twilight frowned “I should have done this ages ago.” Twilight quickly wrote a letter, then summoned her dark magic sending off with a burst with a burst of magical dark flame “I hope it works.”

Applejack was alone sitting at the table after completing her daily chores, she slammed her hoof on the table “Why did Ah fucking treat my friend like dirt, she needed mah trust and I turned mah back on her!:

Big Mac frowned as he looked at her “Applejack.”

Applejack snapped “What do you fucking want?!”

Big Mac grimaced “Ya need to take better care of yaself, all ya’ve done after ya chores is sit in that chair.”

Applejack scowled “Leave me alone, Ah need to get some air!” Big Mac sighed as she sat at the table wondering how to help his sister.

In Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie Pie was laughing maniacally as she was cutting her legs with a kitchen knife. The Cakes hearing the laughing sighed yet despite nothing they said could help the mare that once brought joy to everywhere she went.

Fluttershy was frail and sickly, while she kept up taking care of her animals she barely ate or slept. She simply spent the days weeping in front of picture of her friend, Angel was watched her full of sorrow as Fluttershy continued to waste away.

Rarity while able to continue to do work has lost a great deal of inspiration, only working when she got a job. Sweetie Belle had begun sowing developing quite a talent for both dressmaking and business as she took up a large amount of the work Rarity had to do during the day while also finding time to go on Crusades with her friends.

Rainbow Dash meanwhile was preparing to do her signature move, she reared up before flying forward tears in her eyes as she accelerated towards the ground before a rainbow fired around her as she slammed into the ground. She whispered as she closed her eyes “I’m sorry Twilight.”

Fluttershy saw the explosion and dropped Twilight’s picture on the couch as she flew out of her cottage at blistering speed. Fluttershy flew to the crater only to see Rainbow’s Dash’s bloody body, Fluttershy gasped “Rainbow! She landed hefting the dying mare onto her back “I won’t let you die, I already failed one friend I will not fail another!”

She burst off at speed most ponies would think impossible for the usually timid mare. She stormed into the Hospital, “I have an emergency!”

The receptionist looked up and and shouted “Nurses get out here now, we have a emergency!” Within seconds a whole bunch of nurses ran out and put Rainbow Dash on a stretcher. The receptionist frowned “I need you to fill out this from so we now who brought her in.”

Fluttershy frowned as she signed it, she then told the Receptionist “I’ll be back, Rainbow Dash needs her friends.”

Fluttershy flew over to Rarity's house, and banged on the door “Rarity!” After getting no response she smashed the door down and galloped up the stairs “Rarity!”

Rarity frowned “Why are you here?”

Fluttershy scowled “Rainbow Dash tried to kill herself, she is in the Hospital now go!” Before Rarity could even blink Fluttershy had already flown out the doorway, heading off to Sugarcube Corner.

She took a deep breath as she looked at Mr and Mrs Cake, then frowned “Where is Pinkie Pie?”

Mrs Cake sighed “She’s upstairs, we have heard nothing but she’s laughing in her room alone for weeks.”

Fluttershy growled “Well not anymore!”

Fluttershy stormed upstairs and knocked on the door “Pinkie Pie come out on the count of three, one, two, three.”

Fluttershy knocked down the door only to see her bleeding “Hello Shy wish to join me?!”

Fluttershy shouted “Rainbow Dash is dying in the Hospital and she needs all of us.” Pinkie’s madness left her quickly, as she burst out of the door heading to the Hospital. Fluttershy sighed “It seems her concern for Rainbow Dash exceeds her guilt for Twilight’s disappearance.”

Fluttershy than took off for the farm, she shouted “Applejack get you flank over here!”

Applejack grimaced as she trotted over “Rainbow Dash why are you..?” Fluttershy flew up to her face, Applejack blinked “Fluttershy why are you here?”

Fluttershy grimaced “Rainbow did a rainboom into the ground, she’s in the hospital I just hope she makes it.” Fluttershy and Applejack headed to the Hospital not realising that an old friend was returning soon.
