Twilight took a deep breath as she was listening to a petition of a stallion and mare who wanted lands to build a mansion, she frowned “Lord and Lady Bigwig we don’t allow anyone to build massive mansions, it takes up space that could be used for other things that need to be built.”

Lord and Lady Big Wig stormed out angry that their petition was not approved , Twilight grimaced at the long line which oddly enough was mainly filled with ponies “Do any of you wish to build huge structures or make yourselves filthy rich because I am not doing that.” Twilight sighed as the crowd all left, Twilight grumbled “Stupid ponies, spoilt by Celestia’s overly generous nature I see.”

Chrysalis wearing a pair of glasses as she looked over some notes before looking up as she entered, Twilight frowned “Please tell me you’ve brought good news because I’ve had a rough day.”

Chrysalis nodded with a small smile “Yes your Highness we..”

Twilight frowned “You’ve been doing good work for the last year, call me Twilight.”

Chrysalis smiled meekly “I was unsure of this whole thing when you gave me your proposition but what changed was when I saw ponies treating my kind with respect for the first time, they always saw us as monsters.”

Twilight nodded “That doesn’t apply here, I see everyone regardless of species as equals, even have a few Timberwolves, Manticores and Hydras living here now” Twilight then smiled ‘To be honest you seem meeker and less forceful than were at the wedding.”

Chrysalis blushed “Well, I acted like that because it was how my mother expected me to act and how most Changelings expected, now we are all in service to you I get to be my own ling for once.”

Twilight smiled “I have held this back from you for some time but you have proved yourself worthy.” Twilight’s horn glowed green as she placed it on Chrysalis’ forehead.

Chrysalis blinked as she heard Twilight’s voice in her head (Welcome to the Hive Mind, you are now one of my most trusted advisors.)

Tempest laughed (You’re finally in, I was wondering when Twilight would bring you in here. Twilight can’t command us as we exist to advise her and help her if she doesn’t think she needs it.)

Crystal grinned (Well said Tempest)

Chrysalis blinked as two loud voice shouted (Woohoo miss buggy finally got in here!)

Twilight scowled (Quiet!) she then turned to Chrysalis with a smile (Anyway, Chrysalis was what you needed to tell me?)

Chrysalis nodded (We found the tower, it is currently 10 kilometres north-east of Klugetown. We finally managed to triangulate it's location, damn dissapearing tower.)

Twilight smiled (Tempest rally our camp troop, we need to move out.) Within an hour Twilight and a small part of her army were setting up a camp outside of the tower, Twilight commanded as she flared out her wings “I wish for you to stay out here, I need to enter alone.”

Twilight frowned as stepped into the tall clear crystal tower, she trotted onto the Crystal Floor of grand tower Stature’s axe strapped to her back. She saw huge clear crystal pillars holding the flat crystal roof up, the crystal wall were also completely flat as if they were walls.

Twilight climbed up several sets of crystal stairs, she grimaced as she heard a harrowing wail echo through the crystal hallways, one that would stop any lesser creature running away. She decided to explore where she heard the wailing, she blinked as she saw an orange alicorn with a red and yellow striped mane wailing. Twilight galloped after her only for her to dissapear, Twilight rolled her eyes as her horn glowed sending a wave of magic.

Twilight then turned to see a door “An illusion clever, most unicorns powerful enough to pierce that veil would not have the mental fortitude to withstand the fear this place gives off or would even care to come here.”

Twilight pushed the door opened with her magic to see an orange mare wailing in the centre of the room, the mare scurried back “Stay away from me, I am not going back to Equestria. I can’t face her again.”

Twilight chuckled as she looked over the Alicorn, she was slightly bigger than Luna “Sunset I am not here to take you back to Canterlot, I am just here so you don’t stay here alone and unloved.”

Sunset frowned “Don’t lie to me Twilight, you were her pet, she cared for you like a daughter.”

Twilight scowled “If I was her pet what am I doing all the way out here in a dusty tower she would have had no idea about and she would have no idea that ascended would she. This tower kept your magical signal hidden from the world so if I was looking for you because of Celestia I wouldn’t be here” Twilight flared out her wings “I’m here because I heard the rumours and I ascended albeit the normal way.”

Sunset slowly approached her “Fine but why are you out here?”

Twilight sighed “I ran away because my friends and family, even Princess Celestia turned on me. I learned how to fight and even kill, I am now ruler of my own kingdom devoted to spreading friendship.” Twilight then spoke with incredible conviction “I will do anything to protect it even if it mean I must commit genocide!”

Sunset blinked “Wow, you have done some really impressive things.”

Twilight smiled “Yep, still I’m impressed you were able to ascend without doing it the normal way. I would have never even tried that, you truly have strong ambitions.”

Sunset blinked “I kind of had to use dark magic in order to bridge the gap, it took me a lot of work and study.”

Twilight’s eyes glowed green as purple trails flowed out them “I have studied dark magic as well, I must admit I wish I could use it on Blueblood. He was a massive flirt.”

Sunset laughed “Sweet Celestia yes, he was always a terrible flirt, he tried to date me several times until I set him on fire.”

Twilight chuckled “Really, that’s bloody fucking fantastic!”

Sunset blinked “You swore.”

Twilight raised an eyebrow “Of course I fucking swore, you don’t.”

Sunset frowned “No I do bloody swear, I just didn't expect a fucking princess to swear and I thought it would be rude to do so.”

Twilight shook her head “I’m a Queen not a Princess now let’s fucking get out of here, now put your formal no swearing pants when we confront my troops.”

Sunset frowned “Are you sure you want me to come with you?”

Twilight smiled “Of course I fucking do come on. "

As the two mares trotted out of the crystal tower to meet with the troops, Tempest frowned “Twilight, who is this?”

Twilight smiled “This is Sunset Shimmer and she is coming back with us to the Capital.”

Twilight smiled as the group packed up their stuff as Sunset’s horn glowed causing the tower to crumble behind them, Sunset shrugged as they all looked at her “It was temporary residence, there was nothing in there except my bed which I never used.” Everyone else nodded as they returned to the Capital of the Friendship Kingdom.
