A sweet welcoming voice spoke “I am Mystica, welcome to the realm of ascension.” Twilight turned to see an Alicorn with a shining white coat similar to Celestia and a dark blue starry mane similar to Luna.

Twilight blinked “Why am I here?”

Mystica smiled “You are here to ascend beyond the limits of mortality to be like me, an Alicorn.”

Twilight frowned as she turned away “If that’s the case, I need check something” she trotted away as Mystica followed her.

Mystica frowned “What do you need to check?”

Twilight smiled as she saw a closed door with an orange and yellow, ying and yang sun symbol on it. Twilight smiled “You crazy mare Sunset, you went and bloody fucking did it” Twilight frowned “but that means she is living in a dusty tower alone with no-one to help her, I have to find that tower.”

Twilight frowned “Where is your Cutie mark?”

Mystica laughed “I don’t have one, I am a completely harmonic being, someone else gave them to ponies that was not me.”

Twilight shouted “What!

Mystica smiled “Never mind that. Now there are a few things I want to go through with you before you leave here but first I believe you need to meet with someone.”

Twilight turned around to see massive red minotaur with a dark blue mane, she cried forgetting her questions as she knocked him over “Stature I missed you so much!”

Stature smiled as he gave her a hug “As have I.”

Twilight chirped “Are you happy?”

Stature sighed “Valhalla is a fantastic place but often I wake only to miss you. What hurts me more though is that you have isolated yourself Twilight, you hold onto me and won’t let anyone else fill that spot.”

Twilight cried “I can’t let someone take that spot from you, I love you too much.”

Stature gave her a kiss “Look at me nothing hurts me more than seeing you hurting, so please move on or I’ll have to take drastic action.”

Twilight eyes widened “What do you mean?”

Queen Mystica nodded gravely “I will erase all memories of him from your mind, he told me what I had to do if you refused.”

Stature nodded “Swear to me on our love that you will move on and find another partner if the right one comes along.”

Twilight cried tears flowing “I-I p-promise.”

Stature hugged her giving her a kiss with a smile “Twilight have a good life, never give up on happiness.”

His form faded away as Twilight cried, Mystica sat there for hours as Twilight cried, until Twilight she couldn’t cry anymore. Mystica nodded “Are you ready?” Twilight looked up at her and nodded as she followed Mystica, Mystica gave her a sad smile “I hope you can forgive my daughter, Celestia at some point.”

Twilight scowled “She turned on me, she didn’t listen to me!”

Mystica sighed “She always looked up to me as you used to for her. She wanted to be like me but she didn’t ever realise I am not a good role model to be following. I left them under the care of Starswirl believing this world would be safe between my daughters and the Lord of Chaos.”

Twilight gasped “Discord!”

Mystica sighed “Yes, we were born out of the universe at the same time, he was like a brother to me. My harmonic presence stabilised his chaotic one, when I left the world he slowly started to unravel unable to stabilise the chaos in himself and not long after Starswirl’s disappearance he became Entropy a fearsome creature seeking the destruction of all things and it was only thanks to my daughter’s Celestia and Luna that he is as stable as he is.”

Twilight frowned “Why share this with me?”

Mystica slumped over “You will be the new Alicorn of Harmony, you can balance him out as I did millennia ago.”

Twilight frowned “I have a lot of work to do then, I have to spread friendship throughout Astrum, locate Sunset Shimmer and free Discord.”

Mystica nodded “You should save Discord for last, you have more pressing concerns to deal with.”

Twilight nodded “I’ll think about forgiving Celestia but I’ll make no promises.”

Mystica nodded “Very well” she then smiled “Come with me” the two entered a glowing door with Twilight’s Cutie Mark.

Mystica smiled “You have done great things, helped so many.” Pictures of her exploits and actions in Equestria flew by “Furthermore even in your darkest days you never stopped being who you were, you took action to bring happiness and joy to others even if it hurt.” Pictures of her exploits outside the borders of Equestria flew past “For that the world thanks you, return to your kingdom as a changed mare.”

Twilight reappeared the crown on her head, the armour how grown and shifted to fit her new body size which was easily twice the height of Princess Celestia. She then flared out massive wings covered in armoured plate, everyone roared in unison “Hail Queen Twilight Sparkle!” Twilight sat there contemplating her next move not knowing that one big change would come right around the corner.

Celestia bolted up in her room as she felt a powerful entity emerge in the world one far more powerful than even than anything she had felt before. She shivered in fear of what it could mean for the world.
