Twilight’s airship landed on the outskirts of Mount Aria where one of the Storm King’s camps was. Tempest approached them, the largest of the Abyssinians approached “Tempest are you here to help us conquer the Hippogriffs?”

Tempest shook her head “There has been a change of plans.”

While Tempest was busy explaining the situation, Crystal frowned “When were you planning on telling us this?”

Twilight sighed “Would you have tried to stop me, tried to get me to give up this foolish idea?”

Crystal frowned “Yes I would, I would have told you this is a foolish endeavour and you should quit, now though I’d say you got a chance.”

Twilight frowned “Exactly, this was my plan and if I told you before I had a way of doing it, it would’ve failed. I made my choice and I’ll stick with it to the bitter end.”

Stature walked over “Twilight you okay?”

Twilight smiled as she gave him a peck on the cheek “I’m fine, I look forward to fighting alongside you on the battlefield.”

Stature grinned “As am I.”

Twilight frowned “Speaking of which have you discovered any interesting rumours lately?”

Stature nodded “Yes, just one there is tower that appear in the Bone Dry Desert. Anyone who enters hears someone wailing and then some have even seen an orange Alicorn crying as she wanders the empty floors of the castle.”

Twilight frowned (Could it be? She dissapeared years ago, did she do it?)

Twilight shook her head of her thoughts as she noticed Tempest trotting over, Tempest smiled “I explained the scenario, they are on board. I had a few of the ships take them back to hang with the some of the mercenaries back at our base, the ships will return soon.”

Twilight frowned “Good the easy part is over, now the difficult part.”

Tempest blinked “Difficult part, what difficult part?” Twilight pointed a hoof to the Hippogriffs city which had massive path work done to wall as well angry Hippogriffs glaring at them from the walls, Tempest frowned “Right that difficult part.”

Twilight grimaced “Come on we must handle this diplomatically.” She turned to Stature “You’re in charge of keeping those reckless fools over there in line, this must be handled with care that’s why me and Tempest are going understood.”

Stature saluted before running off to give orders to the mercenaries and Abyssinians. Twilight and Tempest meanwhile trotted towards the home of the Hippogriffs. Twilight looked up at the guards at the top of the gate “I wish to speak with your leader, I have a proposition for her.”

One of the Hippogriffs scowled “Why should we trust you when you have one of the Storm King’s lackies beside you as well as part of his army behind you!”

Twilight frowned “It can’t cause that much harm if only the two of us enter and are not allowed to be anywhere without a military escort of you own troops.”

The Sergeant of the Hippogriffs frowned “I wish you to inform the Queen, she will tell us what to do next.” Tempest was standing behind Twilight silently while Twilight glared at the Hippogriff Sergeant in defiance.

They continued their deadly glaring contest until a tall light gray Hippogriff with a mix of brilliant fuchsia and strong mulberry mane, the Sergeant bowed “You Highness Queen Novo I didn’t mean to disturb you but...”

Queen Novo frowned “I will hear out their proposition as long as you keep a guard around them during the meeting.”

The sergeant nodded as he gave out the orders to open the gates and as soon as Twilight and Tempest entered a contingent of Hippogriff guards surrounded them. Queen Novo ordered “Take them to the Castle and we will discuss our terms.”

Twilight and Tempest were escorted into the large spire like castle. They found themselves at the castle’s meeting room with Queen Novo glaring at them “Who are you and what is this proposition of yours?”

Twilight smiled “My name is Twilight Sparkle, I want to take over the Storm King’s Empire and bring friendship to this land for of hate and tyranny, I wish for you to aid in this endeavour and become our allies.”

Queen Novo frowned “Why should I trust you?”

Twilight shrugged “No reason, to be honest you help is a benefit but not a requirement I can take out the Storm King with or without you the question is are you willing to support us.”

Queen Novo grimaced “Fine I’ll accept your proposal for now, I will supply you one small contingent of my forces and if you prove yourself dedicated enough then I will provide more.”

Twilight bowed “Thank you, Queen Novo. I wish you a long and prosperous reign.”

A pale gray sapphire blue Hippogriff flies over to her with a frown as the guards escorted them out of the kingdom “Why did you trust them, they could be our enemies?!”

Queen Novo turned to him “Sky Beak I sense her magic and it was powerful more powerful than anything I’d ever sensed, even when I met Princess Celestia for the first time. In fact Princess Celestia who moves the sun and moon might I add would have been a drop in the ocean compared to the power of felt from that mare, if she wanted to she could pull the sun into the planet or even bend the very fabric of reality around her. If she wanted us gone she could have wiped us out simply by deciding she didn’t want us to exist and then we would no longer.” Sky Beak’s jaw dropped as Queen Novo contemplated the future of her people.
