Well, more like three, since the fourth one is new and doing nothing yet, but...

Yeah.

Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and now Twilight Sparkle.

Celestia and Luna mandate the day and night respectively.

Celestia raises the sun while Luna raises the moon.

They reside in Canterlot.

Cadence is the princess of love, and rules over the Crystal Empire.

Twilight Sparkle seems to be the princess of Friendship...

But she doesn't really know what to do.

Twilight now bears the cross of being a princess...

It isn't easy for her to just accept the new responsibility, she's inexperienced!

Well...

Anyway.

She was stopping by the Crystal Empire with all of her friends.

Her friends consist of Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie.

Also, her dragon Spike.

Would you call that a child or a friend? Is she his parent?

She was going for her first Princess Summit.

Well, it wasn't happening yet.

What's happening now?

Everyone is sleeping.

Except the night guard, who was watching the halls with an illumination spell.

Twilight and Spike were now in a room just for them to sleep in.

It was nearly time to wake up...

In another two hours or so.

Twilight had rested her crown on the drawer next to her bed, while Spike slept in a dog bed.

So is it reasonable to call him a pet?

However, in the halls of the Crystal Castle...

A stranger lurked around.

Shadowy, elusive...

And cloaked.

The pony managed to get past the night guard.

They seemed to be making way for Twilight's room...

Well, this pony used cyan magic to open the door to her room, and entered it...

The pony sneaked past Spike's bed, and made it to the drawer.

He or she took Twilight's crown with her magic, and...

Knocked the lamp over!

They blew it, they ble- Oh.

They caught it with their magic in the nick of time...

The lamp was gently placed on the drawer, making barely any sound.

The pony put the crown in her robe...

Then pulled out a fake crown.

They replaced the real one, putting it in it's place.

The real one was put into their robe...

It was the perfect heist!

Now to get the hell out of there!

They started walking away, until Spike dragged his tail across the floor in his sleep...

The pony tripped over it, and fell, making a loud...

CRASH!

Spike woke up...

"Huh? What?" He asked.

As the pony tried standing up, Twilight woke up with a yawn...

Then she noticed her crown within the pony's robe, and-

"My crown! She's got my crown!" Twilight yelled.

Oh, it's a she.

Well, the pony blew her cover, so she ran!

Twilight and Spike quickly gave chase, getting into the hall.

"Stop! Thief!" She yelled.

That got her other friends up...

And they poked their heads out their doors.

Oh, hey, they look like the people on Earth!

They're just horses.

Twilight ran after her again.

"She's stolen my crown!" She yelled.

Her friends all gasped!

Twilight tried teleported in front of the hooded pony!

She got in her way.

"Stop!" Twilight said.

...But the other pony teleported herself.

Leaving her cloak.

The cloak flew into Twilight's face to blind her momentarily.

The pony teleported behind her...

Revealing some bacon mane and tail, yellow fur and blue eyes.

She had a saddlebag with the crown inside...

Then she started running again.

She noticed that Twilight and her friends were right on her tail...

Eventually, Twilight managed to ram herself into the mysterious pony, and they smashed into a room.

The crown flew out from her saddle bag and flew everywhere!

It bounced off the walls!

Clink, clink, clink!

Then it flew right into a mirror.

...Huh?

Everyone but this bacon pony gasped.

In fact, she smirked.

"What did you do to my crown!?" Twilight asked.

"Sorry it had to be this way!" The pony said, teleporting to the mirror.

Then she sent Twilight off with a hoof gesture.

"Princess." She said, jumping into the mirror.

Le gasp!

Let's cut to now, where it's Wednesday again, and it's 7:55.

Students are outside, hanging out and stuff.

Gohan and Fluttershy were sitting and leaning on the side of the Wondercolts Statue.

Gohan had his lunch in his locker, so it's not with him.

"I genuinely thought you snapped Harry's neck." Gohan said.

"Of course not! It's just how he likes his massages..." Fluttershy said.

"Well, you learn something new everyday..." Gohan said.

"Yeah... Um... Gohan...?" Fluttershy asked.

"What's up?" Gohan asked.

"The Fall Formal's coming up soon... Are you going with anyone?" Fluttershy asked.

"No. I don't think I'll be going at all." Gohan said.

"O-Oh... I was just wondering if... Um..." Fluttershy said, rubbing her thumbs together.

She was a little nervous.

But before she could ask...

"Wait a minute..." Gohan said.

"What's wrong?" Fluttershy asked.

"...I think I forgot something." Gohan said.

"What did you forget...?" Fluttershy asked.

"Ah, my Flying Nim- I mean... My Kinto'un!" Gohan said, standing up.

"Your what?" Fluttershy asked.

"I forgot it on the roof, oh no!" Gohan said.

Well, he hoped his plan had worked...

A plan devised in like, one second.

He started slowly running away from the school.

"I'll be right back!" He yelled.

Fluttershy just looked in confusion.

"What's a Kinto'un...?" She asked herself.

Success! The choice of words confused her!

Gohan was just running very slowly through the sidewalk.

'Ugh! I could make it in time if I just didn't have to run so slowly!' He thought.

Apparently he left his Flying Nimbus on the roof of some random building.

He forgot to send it flying away...

Let's cut back to Fluttershy.

She was just chilling there.

'Aw... Well, there's always later... I just think it'd be nice to go to the Fall Formal with him... Wait, what?' Fluttershy thought.

'We would just go as friends, right? I mean, that's if he says yes... It can't be that we coul-'

Then a crown slammed into the back of her head.

"Ow!" She yelped.

She rubbed the back of her head in pain...

"Ooh... What is this...?" She asked, picking it up.

'Where did it come from...? I should probably bring this to Principal Celestia...' She thought.

She stood up and walked towards the entrance.

In the throne room of the Crystal Empire, Celestia was explaining.

"Sunset Shimmer... A former student of mine. She began her studies with me not long before Twilight. But when she did not get what she wanted as quickly as she liked, she turned cruel and dishonest. I tried to help her, but she eventually decided to abandon her studies and pursue her own path. One that has sadly led to her stealing your crown." Celestia said.

"She replaced Twilight's with this one!" Spike said, pulling out the replica.

Celestia examined it, and-

"I suppose Sunset Shimmer thought you wouldn't notice right away that this was not yours. And by the time you did, it would be too late to go after your crown and Element of Harmony." Celestia said, walking away.

Everyone followed her.

"But I don't understand. Where did she go? Where did she take the crown?" Twilight asked.

"You'll soon know more about this place than even I do." Celestia said.

Back to that magical mirror.

"This is no ordinary mirror. It is a gateway to another world. A gateway that opens once every thirty moons." Luna said.

Pinkie Pie decided to put her hoof on the thing.

"Sparkly!" She said.

It did sparkle, yes.

Luna had to move her hoof away with her royal blue magic...

"It has always been kept in the throne room of Canterlot Castle. But when Princess Cadance took over the Crystal Empire, we sent it here for her to watch over." Luna said.

Celestia sighed.

"I had always hoped that Sunset Shimmer would someday use it to return, to come back to Equestria seeking my guidance. Obviously, this is not what has happened." She said.

"Twilight." Cadence said.

"You must use the mirror to go into this other world and retrieve your crown. Without it, the other Elements of Harmony have no power and Equestria is left without one of its most important means of defense." She said.

Twilight stepped towards the portal...

"Your crown does not belong in the place Sunset Shimmer now calls home." Luna said.

"And in her possession, your Element of Harmony will no doubt be used to bring harm to the inhabitants of this other realm. They will not have the power to defend themselves." Luna said.

...You sure?

"You understand the importance of your task?" Celestia asked, putting Twilight's saddlebags on her with her magic.

"Of course." Twilight said.

"Good, you must go at once!" Celestia said.

Twilight sighed.

...But Rainbow Dash and all her friends conveniently stepped in front of the portal.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! She's going, we're going with her." Rainbow Dash said.

"Right, girls?" She asked.

Pinkie squealed.

"I'm so nervicited!" She said.

"...You do realize that isn't a real word, right?" Applejack asked.

Twilight was touched...

"I'm afraid I can't let you go." Celestia said.

"What!? Why not!?" Rainbow Dash asked, slamming her hoof on the ground.

"Sending all of you could upset the balance of this alternate world, creating havoc that would make it impossible for Twilight to get the crown back from Sunset Shimmer. This is something Princess Twilight must do alone." Celestia said.

"Time is of the essence." Luna said.

She made a projection of the moon.

"On the third day, when the moon reaches its peak in the night sky, the gateway will close. And once it does, it will be another thirty moons before you will be able to use it to return." She said.

The projection moon did just that, turning into a full moon.

"Oh well..." Rainbow Dash said.

"Good luck, Twilight!" They all said.

Twilight sighed yet again.

She put her hoof on the portal...

It sparkled a bit, and she pulled her hoof back...

'Okay, just do it... Just... Do it.' Twilight thought.

Then she jumped in without hesitation!

Aw...

...

...Then Spike dashed in after her.

The other ponies tried grabbing him physically but they missed.

"Spike, NO!" Everyone yelled.

Too late.

He ran into the portal.

Gohan finally got back to the top of the building he left the Nimbus on.

"Phew..." He said, patting it twice.

Then the Nimbus flew off.

"Okay, I don't know how much time I have left... Better hurry!" Gohan muttered to himself.

Now to journey back to the school!

Let's cut to Twilight again.

She was groaning as she managed to wake up...

"Ugh..."

Then she noticed Spike.

"Uh... Twilight?" Spike asked.

"Huh? Spike! You're not supposed to- Spike? Are you a... dog?" Twilight asked.

"I... think so. But I have no idea what you are!" Spike said.

Twilight noticed her hands now...

"Wha...?" She asked.

Then she screamed!

You know, the-

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

But then she covered her mouth because that is not good.

She started inspecting these weird nubs on her hand...

Also known as fingers.

She desperately tried to get them off by shaking them!

...But nothing happened.

She pulled them, and that did nothing...

Spike was just looking at the insanity.

Then she noticed her leg, and she started hyperventilating again.

"Twilight, you have to get it together!" Spike said.

Twilight took a deep breath...

...

"...What does the rest of me look like!?" She asked, getting on all fours.

"Um, like you. Only not you. Your muzzle's really small." Spike said.

"My muzzle!?" Twilight asked, touching her tiny nose.

She started hyperventilating again.

Spike covered her mouth with two paws.

"Are you gonna scream again?" He asked.

Twilight shook her head.

"Where are we?" Spike asked, taking his paws away.

Well, this is obviously what is known as a town.

There's a street behind her, with cars driving around.

There are sidewalks around the streets that other people are walking on.

Then there's the school right in front of her.

Fluttershy sat in homeroom, waiting for Gohan to come...

It was 8:08, so she began to worry.

'I hope he gets here on time... I want to get it over with!...Huh. I never expected myself to be best friends with a boy... It feels weird to be so attached.' She thought.

It was taking a while...

...

The bell rang.

'He's late... Oh well.' Fluttershy thought.

"That must serve as the gateway back to Equestria..." Twilight said, touching the portal once more.

She put her hand in and her hoof was inside the portal.

But she pulled it out instantly.

She sat up...

"We need to find my crown as soon as possible and get back there. I suggest we start searching the castle first." She said, referring to the school in front of her.

"What castle?"

Twilight screamed for a moment as she looked over her shoulder.

Jesus Christ! Where the f**k did you come from!?"

It was Gohan.

A little surprised that she screamed, but...

"Uh... Sorry for scaring you there..." Gohan said.

He automatically assumed that she was a student...

"What are you still doing here? Classes should start soon." Gohan said.

Twilight just stared at Gohan quizically...

She's confused as to what the heck he is and what he's taking about.

'Classes? For what?' Twilight thought.

Then, he looked at the clock over the entrance, and-

"Uh oh! Sorry, I have to go, I'm late!" Gohan said, slowly running towards the school.

Twilight just glared at him...

Jumping over 6 steps at once...

Then he just entered the door.

"Bizarre... Bipedal motion? What kind of creature am I, a monkey!?" She asked Spike.

'Do I also have increased agility?' She thought.

"Well... I don't think monkeys wear clothes like that. Also... I think they're more hairy than that..." Spike said.

"Whatever... Let me try doing... Whoa!" Twilight said, trying to stand up.

She stumbled and tumbled...

Her legs were shaking...

She swung her arms around to try and keep balance.

"Okay...! I think I got it...!" She said.

"Then try walking." Spike said, moving forward effortlessly.

Twilight tried taking a step...

But ended up taking this gigantic one, and barely managed to stay standing.

She repeated the same movement until she got to the stairs...

She grabbed the handrail to prevent herself from falling...

"You are terrible at this..." Spike said.

"Ugh! I've never tried this before...! Now come on, Spike, I don't want to stay here longer than I have to...!" Twilight said, pulling herself up the stairs.

Spike was already at the top.

"Well, look on the bright side. You don't have those pesky wings to worry about anymore." He said.

Yeah, Twilight made that visually clear that that didn't help her at all.

She managed to step to the doors...

"Dang use of an opposable thumb..." She muttered.

She waved her head around before slamming herself into the door...

"What?" She asked.

It was confusing, why didn't it just open for her?

She didn't move, yet strained really, REALLY hard...!

Then she gasped, realizing that-

"My magic! It isn't working!" She said.

"Makes sense. You don't exactly have your horn..." Spike said.

"WHAT!?" Twilight asked, grabbing her hair.

She's going to stress out again.

Spike sighed.

"Just do what the other... Thing did." He said.

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked.

Spike pushed the door open.

"We really need to find you a mirror." He said.

The two entered and saw the halls.

A CHS banner and stairs...

It was relatively empty. Nobody else was there.

Instantly, Spike and Twilight went to the trophy collection...

Twilight scanned that thing...

"What do ya think, Spike? Other artifacts she's stolen from Equestria?" She asked.

Then she realized that she could see a translucent reflection of herself through the glass.

"Huh!? What am I!?" She asked.

She looked at her hair, her hips, her teeth...!

...Then the bell rang.

Now the halls were crowded again.

Twilight held Spike in her arms so they wouldn't get separated...

But she kept bumping into everyone!

Someone slammed their phone into her face...

Now she was on the floor, trying to dodge water bottles and basketballs.

She tried crawling out from the belly of the beast...

As she managed to get to the lockers, on the outer side, her foot was still stuck in the crowd.

So she and Spike tried pulling the damn thing out, with him pulling her bag.

Twilight put a little too much strength into it...

She got it out, but she rolled backwards.

She smashed into someone's leg...

It was Flash Sentry, closing his locker.

"Whoa! You okay?" He asked, holding a hand out.

Twilight tried to hold his hand, but balled her hand up into his hand.

She opened it up afterwards so he could pull her up to her feet.

Twilight silently nodded.

Flash walked away now.

Twilight couldn't help but look at him.

"I don't think this is a castle..." Spike said.

And hey! The door right by his locker swung open!

"Next time, you'll receive JUG. Understand?"

Twilight heard that familiar voice...

'Princess Luna!?' She thought.

Gohan was stepping out from the office...

"Yes ma'am..." He said.

Then the door closed.

Gohan turned around to see-

"Oh, it's you again." He said.

"Huh?" Twilight asked.

"I should be getting to class. See you." Gohan said, beginning to walk away.

...But then he suddenly stopped in his tracks.

Both he and Twilight happened to hear a very faint and familiar voice...

"Oh, I'm really sorry. I-I just found it, and-and I thought I should give it to her.

'Fluttershy?' Gohan thought.

They both walked to where they heard the voice...

Gohan hadn't noticed Twilight trailing behind him.

Now they heard the same voice a little louder...

"I didn't know you had dropped it."

Both Gohan and Twilight peeked into another part of the hallway...

There was a bacon haired girl talking to...

Fluttershy?

The girl was Sunset Shimmer...

A total bitch...

"Well, I did! And I was about to get it before you swooped in and ruined everything! You shouldn't pick up things that don't belong to you." She said.

Then, Fluttershy mumbled something under her breath...

"It... doesn't really belong to you, either."

Then Sunset slammed her arms against the lockers behind Fluttershy!

"Excuse me!?" She yelled.

Fluttershy whimpered and slowly slid down to the floor.

"N-N-Nothing...!" She whispered.

Gohan was a little angry...

So was Twilight.

He clenched his fist...

"That's what I thought. It's as good as mine, and you know it. You really are pathetic! It's no wonder your best friends are all stray animals." Sunset said.

That was it for Gohan.

"How dare you speak to her that way!" He yelled, pointing a finger at Sunset Shimmer.

Now he was being seen clear as day.

Sunset angrily turned around...

"What did you say?" She asked.

'Oh thank goodness...' Fluttershy thought.

The surrounding students around them all cowered and slid away...

But a few just had to watch.

"He said, how dare you speak to her that way!" Twilight yelled, aiding him.

She stepped to his side.

The two walked towards Sunset while she walked towards them.

They stopped about a few feet away from each other...

A standoff...

"What you just said was mean and completely untrue! Take it back!" Gohan yelled.

...Then Sunset kinda smirked...?

"You must be new here." She said.

"That has no bearing on the current issue." Gohan said.

"What does it have to do with you being a complete jerk!?" Twilight asked.

...Then Sunset just flicked Twilight's head.

She started walking away...

"I can speak to anyone any way I want." She said.

There was a boy with dark brown hair, a fedora, grey pants/shoes and a red vest in her sight.

She merely glared at him and he...

Stuck himself inside his own locker...

Makes sense.

Then she stormed off.

'What was her deal? Fluttershy's practically harmless, there isn't a need to yell at her.' Gohan thought.

"I can't believe you did that!" Fluttershy said, standing up again.

"We couldn't just stand there like that..." Twilight said.

"Why can't you believe it?" Gohan asked.

"Oh... You're new, Gohan... It's just that nobody ever stands up to Sunset Shimmer." Fluttershy said.

"Sunset Shimmer?" Twilight asked, as if she had already heard of her.

"You've heard of her?" Fluttershy asked.

"I didn't even know she existed." Gohan said.

"Sort of..." Twilight said.

"I don't think I've seen you around before. Did you just transfer to Canterlot High from another school?" Fluttershy asked.

"Um... yes! Another... heh, school! My name's Twilight." Twilight said, stomping her foot slightly...

"Oh, okay. I'm Son Gohan, but call me Gohan." Gohan said with a smile.

...

Then Fluttershy tried introducing herself again...

"I'm... Fluttershy..."

'Not this again...' Gohan thought.

"Sorry, what was that?" Twilight asked.

"It's Fluttershy!"

"It sounds like you're saying Fluttershy... But how can that...?" Twilight asked.

Then Fluttershy noticed Twilight's dog, Spike...

"Oh my goodness!" She said in a normal voice and very excitedly.

She dashed forward and rushed up to Spike...

...But bumped into Twilight without realizing it.

She nearly fell.

"Who's this sweet little guy!?" She asked.

Twilight managed to stand tall again...

"That's Spike! My, uh... dog!" She said.

"I don't think I've ever seen a breed like that... Or maybe I'm uneducated." Gohan said.

'Do dogs have ears like that? I'm probably rusty...' He thought.

Fluttershy grabbed Spike's face...

"Oh, he's so cute!" She said.

Then she reached into her yellow bag and pulled out a dog treat...

"Come on, eat up little pup!" She said, holding it out to him.

Spike hesitantly took a small bite...

But he enjoyed it so much that he ate the entire thing.

"Oh, wouldn't you just give anything to know what they're really thinking?" Fluttershy asked.

"He usually just tells me." Twilight said.

"W-What do you mean?" Fluttershy asked.

Then Spike barked...

"There are some anthropomorphic animals such as dogs that can speak, but he definitely can't talk..." Gohan said.

"Oh! Uh... Nevermind!" Twilight said.

'What does anthropomorphic mean?' She thought.

But she changed the subject.

"Never mind. Sunset Shimmer said you picked something up. Something that belonged to her. It wasn't a crown, was it?" Twilight asked.

"How did you know?" Fluttershy asked.

"Uh... Lucky guess? Do you still have it?" Twilight asked.

Fluttershy shook her head no.

"Mm-hmm. This morning, I was just hanging out with Gohan..." She said.

Flashback to that moment again...

Back to the statue.

"Ah, my Flying Nim- I mean, my Kinto'un!" Gohan said, standing up.

"Your what?" Fluttershy asked.

"I forgot it on the roof, oh no!" Gohan said.

He started slowly running away from the school.

"I'll be right back!" He yelled.

Fluttershy just looked in confusion.

"What's a Kinto'un...?" She asked herself.

Then she looked back to the school...

She was just chilling there.

Waiting for 8:00 to come so she'd go to homeroom...

...

Then a crown slammed into the back of her head.

"Ow!" She yelped.

She rubbed the back of her head in pain...

"I have no idea how it got there. But I didn't want anything to happen to it, so I decided to give it to Principal Celestia." Fluttershy said.

"Principal Celestia? She's the ruler here?" Twilight asked.

"That's an... odd choice of words, but it's technically correct." Gohan said.

"Technically, I guess she and Vice Principal Luna do make the rules." Fluttershy said.

"Where is she now?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, she's in her office. Third door on the left." Gohan said, pointing to the exact door.

"Thank you!" Twilight said, running towards that office.

Spike quickly followed.

"Oh, wait!" Fluttershy said, making them stop briefly.

They slid for a moment before looking back.

"You're not really supposed to have pets on school grounds. Might wanna tuck him into your backpack. That's what I do." She said, opening her bag for a moment.

A cat, a bunny, a bird-

They burst out of the bag.

Fluttershy sat down with the bunny and the cat to hug them both.

The bird got on her head.

"They just get so lonely when I'm in school all day." She said.

"Oh, okay! Thank you!" Twilight said.

Then the bell rang.

"Oh no! I'm late for class!" Fluttershy said.

"Oh no, I don't want to get a JUG from Vice Principal Luna this time... My mother would kill me." Gohan said, scared for his life.

Fluttershy expertly swung her bag around to get the animals in there and started running to class.

Gohan slowly followed.

"Okay, Spike, we're on our own!" Twilight said, picking him up.

Spike happened to run across her arm, get on her shoulder, unzip her bag, jump inside, and zip it back up.

He's a natural.

Well, this is a special turnout.

Sunset Shimmer wants the crown for unimaginable power!

Will she get it?

Or will Twilight get the crown first?

Do you really not know what's going to come?
