Trunks came down to Gohan's side.

"I thought you weren't coming." Gohan said.

"My mother doesn't speak for me!...But she will murder me again when I get home, but this is totally worth it! Three dragons!" Trunks said.

"Who is this?" Twilight asked.

"Do you guys just have your moms as weaknesses?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"...I guess." Gohan said.

"I'm Trunks." Trunks said.

"This is perfect. You stay back here and defend them until they can counterattack. I'll fight up front, and maybe take them down." Gohan said.

"Uh... Okay." Trunks said, a little saddened.

"You'll probably get hurt worse, sorry. You can still attack from here, you know?" Gohan said.

"I guess." Trunks said.

"They'll probably finish this, though. They need to rest up, so keep them protected." Gohan said.

"Right!" Trunks said.

"I can go all out without worrying... Alright. Break!" Gohan yelled, making his aura flare again.

He flew off the mountain and at the sirens!

Trunks remained behind...

"...What does he mean by you guys finishing this?" He asked, looking behind his shoulder.

"...We're going to need to talk about that." Rainbow Dash said, not willing to comply.

Gohan flew up and stopped to be on eye level with the sirens.

They were about 5x his size...

He looked down at the audience, who were still just staring.

Stuck in their trance...

Finally, Gohan had a bit of rage, and made his aura flare to ascend.

Sparks flew everywhere.

The siren Adagio spoke up...

"What is this? How are you flying!?" She yelled.

"Too long, can't explain. I'm going to-"

The siren Sonata charged at him before he could finish...

Gohan aimed his arms at her and fired multiple yellow ki blasts every second!

Each blast exploded into smoke on contact, and they actually pushed the siren back.

While this was happening, the other sirens took the opportunity to fly beside the blasts.

The two were on opposing sides and charged while singing.

That sent an invisible shockwave, but Gohan could still sense it.

Caught off guard, Gohan's ki blast barrage was halted as he was bashed in the chest and the stomach by the invisible attacks.

Then he was sent flying away.

Sonata flew out from the smoke, very slightly scathed.

Gohan ended up being upside down before halting himself.

He made his aura flare...

Then he bolted towards the sirens with his fists forward.

He actually glowed insanely bright, to the point you could only see a dark yellow silhouette of his body within the aura.

The sirens looked confused as a yellow blur charged at them.

Gohan slammed his body into Sonata, spinning her around, but he didn't stop.

He directed his body back to the sirens.

He left a small trail of yellow, like a comet would.

The three of them sang their "AAAH" attacks at Gohan.

He changed course and flew around the shockwaves, dodging the invisible attacks...

Then he bolted for the sirens, letting them aim at him properly...

Sonata decided to stop singing and fire a giant red blast from her mouth!

...Then she started singing again.

Gohan narrowly dodged the blast, but he didn't realize that it was hurling itself at Trunks and his friends.

Trunks was on guard, and was ready to take this on!

He used both hands to fire a barrage of yellow ki blasts at it, but that didn't really help.

Each blast disintegrated at the touch of the red blast.

Trunks panicked and the immense magical blast came dangerously close.

He started to hold it back with his own hands.

He held it still while grunting loudly, since this was pretty hard...

His feet were being dragged away...

He made his yellow aura flare desperately.

The girls and dog just looked in shock, hoping he wouldn't fail them...

"Grr.... Hragh!" Trunks yelled, arching back and sending the blast that way.

The blast traveled into the sky and never came back...

Trunks was just catching his breath, letting his aura die.

The others just sat silently...

Back to Gohan.

He was still flying around the singing and having that body slam aura around him.

Eventually, he changed direction and flew beneath the three shockwaves, but the sirens couldn't notice that.

He was darting towards that gem on Adagio's chest, and...

WHAM!

Gohan slammed himself into the gem!

The siren coughed...

The other sirens were surprised and stopped singing.

Then, he was just pushing Adagio very far away now...

Into the horizon...

They were distracted by this...

"Now's my chance!" Trunks said excitedly, aiming both of his hands at the two sirens.

He fired two individual yellow blasts from each hand.

They flew, hit the two sirens, and...

...Did nothing whatsoever.

They didn't notice shit.

"...Didn't do crap." Rainbow Dash said.

"Thanks, Mrs. Holmes." Trunks sneered.

Back to the Dazzlings...

"What the heck!?" Aria asked.

"How is he that strong!?" Sonata asked.

"You morons! Help me!" Adagio yelled.

The two sirens followed Gohan and Adagio, leaving this place.

"Well, they're gone." Pinkie said.

"What are we waiting on from you exactly?" Trunks asked.

"Rainbow Dash, please." Sunset said.

"No! Not after what you did!" Rainbow Dash yelled, referring to the fact Sunset ruined their other performance.

"I don't even know any of your names, just tell me what the problem is!" Trunks said, turning his back to the sirens.

"We need her to play music with us..." Fluttershy said, gesturing towards Sunset.

"Because with her we can most likely take them down." Twilight said.

"...But Rainbow Dash ain't willing to compromise." Applejack said.

"...I don't know how that's going to work, but if he trusts you, then..." Trunks said.

"It'll be just this once!" Rarity said.

"No! Just let him handle it!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Are you seriously putting all the burden on him?" Trunks asked.

"He can't just beat three of them! With his power, he can take on only one of them!" He said.

"What!?" Fluttershy asked.

"B-But he can just do that double Saiyan thing, right?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"What do you think he's using right now...?" Trunks asked.

Yeah, what is he doing right now?

In another hilly place, Gohan finally stopped pushing Adagio, letting his aura die down...

He actually made a very small crack in the gem in her chest...

Her power slightly dwindled.

Gohan noticed a grave weakness...

"That gem in your chest is the source of your power!" He yelled.

The siren shrieked in anger...

REEEEEEEE!

Yeah, that really got to Gohan's ears.

He had to close them with his hands, but that barely helped.

It was so loud that he didn't notice the two other sirens behind him.

Aria snuck up behind him and slammed her giant head down on him!

BAM!

Gohan was sent down like a meteor...

BAKOOM!

He crash landed and a bunch of dirt flew everywhere...

He groaned as he got to his feet...

He also noticed more of the "AHHH" singing coming his way.

So he jumped out of the way as the shockwaves decimated the ground.

He flew around as they aimed at him again, still singing.

He pointed a finger as he maneuvered around the three voices.

Nobody could notice the small blue sparkle shot out from his finger...

It traveled and looped around before finally reaching the gem of Sonata...

Then...

The "AHH"s were cut short.

BAKOOM!

There was a huge explosion, and Sonata was immensely damaged.

The other two sirens stopped in surprise.

Over to where the Dazzlings were protected, she actually fell to the ground on her knees, holding her gem...

It was only cracked a little more than Adagio.

Back to the main fight...

Gohan took the bold move of closing in and using his fists to attack.

However, the siren Aria blasted him with a red blast and some "AHHH!"

Gohan was surprised and his assault was cut short.

BOOM!

He was sent flying away, and Adagio flew right behind him.

She opened her mouth wide, trying to get him in her mouth!

But...

Gohan just vanished before he even got close.

Adagio chomped down, and...

'What?' She thought, looking around.

He was just gone.

Sonata finally recovered and flew back to be right next to Aria.

Their opponent just disappeared...

...Or so they thought.

All of a sudden, hundreds of Gohans appeared around the three of them...

This was the afterimage technique...

Back to where the Dazzlings were...

"What is going on!? There's hundreds of them!" Adagio yelled.

And to the battlefield.

The hundreds of Gohans all chuckled, and that sounded like shit.

"You don't know what you're in for!" They all said all distorted.

Sonata fired a red blast from her mouth at a few of them...

It phased through them, surprisingly.

"You can't harm me." One Gohan said.

"Unless..." Another said.

"You..." Another said.

"Find!"

"The!"

"Right!"

"ME!"

WHAM!

They could never see Gohan dropkicking Aria in the gem coming...

In that instant, all the afterimages disappeared.

Gohan hopped off Aria's also slightly cracked gem as she fell...

She stopped herself and flew again, but she was visibly angry.

Now the sirens had Gohan in a pincer attack...

They had him now!

The three of them all charged red blasts in their mouths...

"AHHH!"

Fired at him from all directions.

Gohan made his aura flare intensely and threw his arms out in a T pose.

"HRAAAGH!"

Three blasts fired from his aura, and they all collided with each blast...

Gohan grunted very loudly...

This really took a lot out of him...

"Gr...G-Gragh...!"

The sirens just added even MORE noise to the singing, and...

The blasts got much closer to Gohan...

Gohan just realized how screwed he was, shown by his expression before the blasts-

BAKOOM!

Okay, let's just cut back to the group.

"Rainbow Dash, we can't be arguing like this back and forth!" Fluttershy pleaded.

"What if she ruins this chance too!? No way!" Rainbow Dash yelled.

Trunks just decided to isolate himself from the conversation because-

'I can't take this anymore. How does he deal with that...?' He asked, sitting on the hillside.

But, he noticed that the Dazzlings were open...?

"There's my chance!" Trunks said gleefully, standing up.

He held one hand over the other over his head...

This was a familiar move.

He made sure to charge it this time.

The girls noticed Trunks's attack, and-

"-don't know why you're acting super gay, but!" Pinkie yelled, before stopping to look at Trunks.

...

"...What did that have to do with anything we were talking about?" Sunset asked.

"I dunno!" Pinkie said gleefully.

Trunks made his yellow aura flare, putting some power into it...

"What is he doing...?" Rarity asked.

"Masenko!"

Trunks fired the huge yellow blast from his palms right at the Dazzlings!

He let it go on it's own, so he put his hands down.

...It got closer, closer, and...

It just collided with the red barrier and disintegrated.

"...I don't even know why I try." Trunks said.

"...Don't beat yourself up like that..." Twilight said.

"Ugh... Anyway, you guys really need to hurry up with your music thing." Trunks said.

"Well, we already know that." Sunset said, looking to Rainbow Dash.

"No, I mean, right now." Trunks said.

"Why?" Rainbow Dash asked.

BAKOOOOM!

Gohan had been hurled into a hill and slid into the ground.

He slowly sat himself up...

Then he struggled to get to his feet.

"Damn..." He muttered.

He was panting and tired.

He had scratches everywhere, especially from the blows he got.

The left part of his orange shirt was gone, showing some of the blue shirt.

Three opponents who are each on par with Sunset Shimmer's demon form...

This is pretty hard.

The sirens were also back, and they all fired a giant combined red blast at Gohan, forcing him to keep moving while he was tired.

He jumped high into the sky, looking down at his friends.

They aren't doing jack shit.

'Come on! I'm running out of stamina here!' He thought.

BAKOOM!

That hill is gone.

'At this point, buying more time will get me killed... What the heck are they doing?' Gohan thought.

The sirens were ready to charge once more, but Gohan had to act while they were grouped together.

He vanished from sight, only to reappear in front of the siren Adagio as a surprise.

She kinda flew back in shock.

...But he immediately disappeared again.

The sirens all looked around, looking for him.

There was a small glimpse of orange that dashed from one place to the next before vanishing...

Then that orange reappeared, becoming more discernable.

Gohan's head and arms were more visible.

...Then he disappeared again.

Then he reappeared, disappeared, and so forth in many spots.

The sirens kept shifting their point of view to keep up.

Adagio fired a red blast from her mouth...

...But that just completely missed.

Then Sonata joined her...

Missed.

Now the three of them are just blasting everywhere.

Missing.

The others just watched the light show in confusion.

"...Why is he doing this?" Twilight asked Trunks.

"I can't even figure out his fighting style, how would I know?" Trunks asked.

It seems like a really dumb idea to be spinning them around.

But... This was all according to plan.

While his constant dipping in reality was happening, and the sirens were spinning and firing, he abruptly stopped the cycle, and remained vanished from sight.

The sirens were slightly dizzy, but tried finding him again.

They stopped firing...

Then, from below...

"HEY!"

Gohan had his back facing his friends...

His hands were in front of his face, all fingers aimed at his face.

He wasn't facing his comrades, so this obviously wouldn't affect them too badly.

The sirens all looked at him in surprise...

"SOLAR FLARE!"

The immensely blinding light was sent their way!

They all shrieked in siren, and that sounded like shit.

Gohan really hated that noise.

They tried covering their eyes with those hoof things...

Whatever they are.

His comrades were not affected that drastically, since he was facing the other way.

They still had to avert their eyes...

This was the sole reason he spun them around.

Really dumb, but he couldn't take any chances.

The Dazzlings all groaned and covered their eyes with the sirens.

"Urgh...How...!?" Adagio yelled.

"I saw my whole life flash before my eyes...!" Sonata whined.

Once he finished with that, he immediately fell down to where his friends were, and...

Got on one knee and one hand while panting.

"Gohan...!" Trunks said.

Fluttershy immediately rushed to his side, wiping off a small piece of dirt on him.

"What... the heck... is taking you... so long...?" He asked.

"Are you okay...?" Fluttershy asked.

"I really can't keep this up. Three Sunset Shimmers at once is a lot harder than it seems." Gohan said.

...Now it looks like Rainbow Dash realized how much she fucked up.

"Rainbow Dash won't budge and let Sunset play." Pinkie said.

"Why would...? That... Huh?" Gohan asked.

"You need to hurry, we really don't have much time. The blindness only lasts for so long." He said.

"...Give her the mic." Rainbow Dash said, having a sudden change of mind.

"W-What?" Twilight asked.

"Give her the mic, Twilight." Rainbow Dash said.

"Or share it, I really don't care." She added.

"This is a sudden change for you..." Twilight said.

"Nobody cares, you can all yell at me later. Do it now." Rainbow Dash said sternly.

Twilight decided to hand the microphone over to Sunset, but she wouldn't hog the spotlight forever.

Sunset gestured for sharing by pointing back and forth, so they obviously got on board.

Rainbow Dash shredded on her guitar once, proving it was still of use.

"Get ready, girls!" She yelled.

She gave the thumbs up to the DJ behind her.

The DJ promptly gave a thumbs up back.

Gohan stood up in surprise.

The girls ran back together, into formation.

With one addition.

The sirens were about to break out from the pain of the light...

"I'll get you a little more time. Trunks, I'll need your help on this one." Gohan said.

"...But I can't even damage them." Trunks said.

"Who said we were doing that?" Gohan asked with a smile.

"...I'm helping?" Trunks asked.

"Can't do it without you." Gohan said

"...Alright." Trunks said, smiling.

He was finally going to do something useful.

Gohan faced the Dazzlings, and Trunks rushed to his side.

"HRAAAGH!"

They made their yellow auras flare!

Of course, Trunks isn't a Super Saiyan... yet.

His is slightly smaller, and his hair flew up.

The sirens could see again, and looked down at the two Saiyans.

The Dazzlings conversed...

"Okay... I've had enough of this." Adagio said angrily.

"They're just chipping us away... We still have the advantage..." Aria said.

"I want chips!" Sonata said.

"That's not what we-... Ugh." Adagio groaned.

"You're a moron." Aria said.

Back to that hill...

"Ready?" Gohan asked.

"Ready." Trunks said.

The two Saiyans nodded to each other...

Then they leaped off the hill, with serious faces.

This was their last chance.

WOW, this took much longer than it should've taken.

I keep giving you the same of excuse that I'm busy, and I really am, but it's been like two months. That's bullshit. Two months is too long.

You can go ahead and tear me a new asshole for taking so long. It'll make the expression 'like father like son' even more true. Hint hint.

This chapter doesn't feel amazing to me, but the original was actually about 1.2k words. Very lacking in detail, and I still feel off about it right now.

I won't take another month or two to post again, I can promise that, but maybe a week or two or maybe even earlier. Depends on time.
