Chapter 4: Chapter 3: Takeoff for Equestria

Previous Chapter

Jedi Temple, Coruscant, West Hangar Bay.

Ryujakki stood in front of his ship, the Xanius I. As he overlooked everything being loaded up, he sensed the team he had assembled approaching from behind.

"You all arrived three seconds off of when I expected you to arrive," he said to them. "Guess my calculations need work."

"And I thought you were the smartest of us," Anakin joked.

"Careful, Skywalker," Ryujakki warned. "You don't wanna end up being sent back to the Ha Shi, do you?"

"It was horrible," Anakin replied, thinking back to when he, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, and another Jedi got in trouble with him.

In the flashback, Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, and the other Jedi snuck in through a secret entrance. They all looked like little children because of one of Wat Tambor's experiments going wrong.

"What's our status, Liquo?" Anakin asked the other Jedi.

"No detectable movement," Liquo replied.

"Alright, fall in slowly," Anakin commanded.

They slowly slipped in. Ahsoka accidentally slammed the entrance shut, causing the other four to shush her.

"We need to be quiet, or we'll wake up Master Amidala, and I'd rather not face him," Anakin told her.

"Yeah, I don't want to go back to the Ha Shi," Obi-Wan said.

"Master, the only reason we're ever down there is because of you!" Anakin softly shouted.

Everyone began shushing everyone, hoping not to wake up the smartest Jedi.

"Well, you don't worry about me dragging you down anymore," Obi-Wan stated.

"What does that mean?" Ahsoka asked.

"It means I'm out of here the first chance I get," Obi-Wan replied.

"You can't!" Ahsoka said softly. "What about our visit to Sol 3 so we can make our Christmas album?"

The shushing match began again. But this time, Liquo interrupted and spoke loudly.

"Guys," he said aloud, sensing Ryujakki behind them. "We've got a bogey."

A light suddenly shone from behind them. Standing behind them was Master Amidala holding a flashlight as the quartet stood frozen. Suddenly, he used his Force Judgement on Anakin, knocking him down.

"What are you all doing up?!" he demanded. He then blasted Obi-Wan who attempted to escape. "What happened?!"

"Uh, I forgot to check my Holocron Generator, ahhh!" Liquo lied, trying to get away, only to be blasted.

Ryujakki then turned to Ahsoka, who was trying to escape by acting like she was sleep walking.

"Uh, Ahsoka was only sleep walking," she lied. "She's totally asleep. Ahsoka's totally innocent."

However, Ryujakki saw past the act and blasted her.

"Are you sure none of you wish to tell me where you all went?" Ryujakki asked.

The adults-turned-children just stared back at him. They weren't talking.

"Fine," Ryujakki decided. "If that's how it's going to be. To the Ha Shi!"

The three Jedi and Padawan all groaned in annoyance. This was going to be a very long night for them.

Later, Ryujakki walks in on the three Jedi and Padawan in the Ha Shi. Anakin is doing a handstand with weights on his ankles. Obi-Wan is on a hoverboard knitting a scarf. Liquo is on a balance board while balancing eggs with two spoons in his hands and an egg on top of his head. Ahsoka is hanging upside down, holding a chair in her hands.

"Eleven hours in the Ha Shi, and none of you want to talk," he said in his own menacing way. Beware his fury.

"This is embarrassing," Obi-Wan said to himself in anger.

"Be that as it may, I want answers children," Ryujakki replied.

"I'm not breaking if Liquo isn't breaking," Obi-Wan said. "Liquo?"

"I'm feeling a little nervous and like I'm about to lose balance, but definitely not breaking," Liquo replied.

Ryujakki use his Force Judgement to somewhat destabilize their balance. He then turned to Ahsoka, smirking in his mind.

"Guys, I totally got this," Ahsoka said. "Nothing can totally break me right now."

Ahsoka had spoke too soon. For in that moment, Ryujakki tossed down a Dex's Diner pizza box. He knew every child's weakness for pizza and, and he has just exploited it.

"Starting to crack," Ahsoka said as her arms shook.

"You have all had the common Cheese Lover's Pizza," Ryujakki said. "But this... Cheese mongers have speculated it's existence for centuries. And now, Dex has perfected it. I present to you DaVinci's original masterpiece."

He opened the pizza box to reveal the rarest cheese pizza of all time.

"Novantanove Formaggio!" he continued. "The legendary 99-Cheese Pizza!"

Ahsoka stared in awe as the other three realized that this was a trap designed to trick Ahsoka into talking.

"It's not possible," Ahsoka gasped in awe.

"Ahsoka, it's a trap!" Liquo shouted at her. "A pizza with that variety of cheese is a culinary impossibility!"

"Shall I start listing the ingredients?" Ryujakki asked. He picked up a slice of the pizza and slowly started walking towards Ahsoka, his smirk finally appearing. "Cheddar... Provolone..."

"Ahsoka, don't you do it!" Anakin warned.

"Asiago..." Ryujakki continued, his smirk clearly growing as he continued towards her.

"Keep it together!" Liquo told her.

"Taleggio..." Ryujakki continued.

"I don't even know what that is," Ahsoka admitted.

"Mozzarella, of course..." Ryujakki finished.

At this, Ahsoka finally broke.

"Okay, okay, okay!" Ahsoka said. "We were investigating the murder of the Senator from Corellia, and we discovered he was well connected to Padme! So Padme began her own investigation but we took care of it!"

Ryujakki looked down in horror and fear. He had known his niece would try something like this, and he also knew she wouldn't stop just because a Jedi told her to.

"Oh no, it is as I feared," he said to himself.

"It's alright, Master, Liquo already erased the evidence she found," Anakin assured.

"It's not that I'm worried about, it's the fact that she's investigating the case without supervision," Ryujakki replied. He held out his hand to give Ahsoka the pizza. "Find her! Bring her here!"

Ryujakki gave Ahsoka the pizza. He then looked at her as she ate quickly. She just looked back at him.

"Whar?" she asked through a full mouth.

"It haunts us to this day," Ahsoka said.

"Wait just a moment, Snips, I remember you selling us out," Anakin replied.

"I hold no regrets over that," Ahsoka said.

"Sir, your ship is ready for launch," a clone said.

"Very well, then," Ryujakki said. "All aboard."

As they began getting on, a speaker over the PA system on the ship came up.

"All who are boarding the Xanius I, ship leaves in ten minutes," the speaker said.

The final members of the boarding party got on the ship. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Barriss, Rex, and Cody all placed their packed items in their quarters. Ryujakki went to the bridge to oversee take off.

"All systems are operational, sir," one of the technicians said.

"Everyone aboard?" he asked.

"Yes sir," the technician replied.

"Good," Ryujakki replied. "Begin takeoff sequence."

The ship takes off and heads into space. The pilot prepares to enter hyperspace.

"Entering hyperspace, in T-minus 10 minutes," he said over the intercoms. "Lock down your belongings, and fasten your seatbelts."

Everyone begin doing just that.

"T-minus 5 minutes to hyperspace," the technician said.

Back in their own quarters, the team buckled up tightly after locking down their belongings.

"T-minus 3 minutes to hyperspace," the technician said.

Ryujakki used his Force Judgement to tether himself to the ground, ceiling, and railing. He had been to Sol 3 and didn't like the idea of a captain's chair, as it made him feel like it was much more of a throne. He didn't view himself above others.

"T-Minus 1 minute and counting," the technician said.

Some troopers held onto a handlebar on the ceiling whenever they couldn't find a chair. Ryujakki's ship had a kink that still needed to be worked out.

"T-Minus 30 seconds," the technician said.

Here comes the fun part, Ryujakki thought to himself.

"10."

Finally, the ship took off into hyperspace. Heading for Equestria.

Elsewhere, on Dooku's home world.

Ventress, Clovis, and Cad Bane began to prepare for takeoff. In a few minutes, a new world would be theirs. But it all depended on if they got there first. The race had begun. Game on.
