Author's Notes:

This is a bit of an experiment, to be honest. Part of me wanted to try something in this series, but I don't know how well this can do. Either way, hope you like it, and tell me what you think

It was another typical morning at CHS. The Dazzlings still enjoyed their time, the Rainbooms were still hated. All in all, nothing really was different today, it seemed like it was going to be another calm and peaceful day.

Trixie closed her locker shut, standing next to Octavia.

"Where is Adagio? Its not like her to not show up today." Trixie said, sounding concerned.

"I'm sure she's just running behind. Everyone has off days, you know."

"I know, its just... I don't know, what could be holding her?"

Octavia felt her phone buzzing in her pocket. Pulling it out,she could see a text message.

"Oh, its Adagio. She says, 'don't panic, we got stuck in traffic. A few accidents happened in the streets as we tried to leave. We should be in a few minutes.'"

Trixie sighed. "Oh, that's good."

Octavia nodded. "Why are you even panicking, luv? We've got 20 minutes before classes even happen. They won't be late."

"I know its just... I... I don't know." Trixie said, leaning her head against the locker. Octavia blankly looked at her geeky friend.

"Are you alright? Is there something on your mind?"

Trixie sighed. "I guess you can say that. I think its--"

"Hey girls!"

"Adagio, hey! Whoa, nice outfit!"

"What do you mean, nice--AAAA..." Trixie stuttered as she turned around.

Adagio was walking down the hallway, moving towards them but the outfit she had on... oh my. She still wore the same heeled boots and the same purple leggings, but what she wore over them? She wore a purple siren's outfit that hugged her body tightly. Not only that, but looking at her with a second glance, she could see Adagio's eyes sparkle and glitter. Her clean and woven hung over her back, just as the same as before but only even more beautiful than ever. And that smile? Oh that smile...

"... xie? Trixie?"

Trixie slapped her own face, snapping out of her trance.

"Dah, ah, I wasn't dreaming! Wha... what happened?"

"You were spacing out, weren't you?" Octavia asked, her hand holding her face.

"Its alright, Octavia."

Trixie blinked, trying to make sure she was still awake. Was this really what Adagio was looking like right now? This gorgeous woman that just appeared out of the blue?

"A-Adagio, um... are... are you wearing that siren's outfit you saw when we were at that geek shop?"

Adagio held her head. "As much as I said I wouldn't... yes."

"Well... why are you then?" Trixie chuckled, sounding nervous.

"I had a little mishap when I was handling my clothes in the laundry room. Lets just say the material on some of my clothes do not do so well when the machine is set on heavy. So I had to buy this just for the time being."

Octavia tilted her head, observing Adagio's skin-tight clothing. "Is that uncomfortable? Its hugging you really tight, it could squeeze you like jelly."

"Its fine, really. I'll admit, I didn't like it when I first put it on but... I'll admit," Adagio looked at her reflection in the mirror, looking at her own back going down, "this looks rather risque, wouldn't you agree?"

"I suppose so, but I don't think I'd ever be comfortable wearing that." Octavia shrugged.

"Eh, fair enough." Adagio shrugged. She looked back at Trixie who was back into her trance. She waved a hand in front of her, checking if she was awake. "Trixie, wake up!"

"I'm not looking!" Trixie said quickly. "I mean, uh... what are we talking about?"

Adagio gave a sly smirk at Trixie. "I don't know. What are you talking about?"

"Uh... nothing! Lets go!"

Trixie scampered away, leaving Adagio and Octavia alone.

"What's got her in a rush?"

Adagio giggled. "I think I may have an idea..."

After the first few classes, the students were now set on their half hour break time. Usually it'd be reserved for catching up with others, maybe finishing assignments that were due soon, or even finishing up a test. But the students mostly used it as time to goof off before having to go back to class.

Adagio and a few of her friends stepped out of their classroom, smiles all around.

"Girls, I told you time and time again, the Decepticons have better troops on their side, that's why they always win." Adagio replied, continuing off on their conversation.

"Then why do the Autobots have so many allies? I mean seriously, they have an entire army!" Aria complained.

"Probably not worth the time trying to figure out."

For a brief moment, Adagio heard her stomach grumbling. And Trixie's as well.

"I think I'll take a quick stop at the vending machine, get a little bit of sugar. Anyone need anything?" Adagio asked.

"I'm good." Aria replied.

"Same here." Bon Bon answered.

"I'll come with. I've got a hankering for a Bon Mot peanut butter praline crunch bar," Trixie replied.

Adagio blinked. "How do you remember a name like that?"

"I don't know. How does one remember everything in several science lessons for an exam?"

"Touche."

Trixie followed close behind Adagio, following her straight to the vending machine. But as they walked, she couldn't help but stare behind her. She didn't know what, but it was just something about Adagio today that just made her look so... sexy. Was it her beauty that she only noticed now? Or was it something more?

Adagio stood in front of the vending machine, holding a hand on her left hip as she took a look. Her eyes tried to see through, but it was hard. The lighting from the hallway made it a little hard to see. Bending over slightly, she moved her face closer to try and look inside the machine.

Trixie leaned against the locker, waiting for when she would make her purchase. But it wasn't long until she caught her eye paying attention to Adagio's outfit again. Glancing up from the bit of her neckline, going down her back and all the way down to those perfect legs.

Adagio's eyes squinted as she looked through the glass on the vending machine. But for a brief second, she could see Trixie in the reflection. Her face had this stunned gaze, like she had no idea how to react. And she already knew where she was looking.

Adagio's head turned slightly, an alluring smirk crept on her face. "Enjoying the view?"

Trixie's cheeks turned a harsh red, making Adagio giggle.

"S-Sorry..."

"What for?"

"Well, its just... well, you're..."

Adagio raised a brow, still keeping that sexy smirk. Was Trixie checking her out? Was she liking what she was seeing? Only one way to find out. Intentionally, she swayed her hips slightly, making Trixie blush even more.

"Yes???"

"Uh..." Trixie's face was now turning into a tomato at this point. "I'll be right back!"

She vanished in a flash, disappearing before Adagio could even say anything. She stood straight again, looking down the hall that Trixie ran away in.

"Hmm..."

Trixie ran into the restroom, her face practically on fire. Looking up, she saw her cheeks were more red than ever. She turned on the faucet, splashing some water into her face. She wasn't thinking straight. She couldn't have been. She never found herself of that kind to just check people out. She never do that!

"Get a grip on yourself Trixie, you're just having an off day. Just like Octavia said, we all have off days."

Unsure of how to handle her situation, Trixie tried her best to just keep her head together. She dedicated herself to not look at Adagio anywhere except for her face. Nowhere else! But that task was a lot harder than she thought. She had Adagio in almost every class, and they always walked to class together. She'd be seeing her no matter what!

She tried to think about things she liked, stories she was catching up on, shows to anticipate for... but all she really saw was Adagio in that skin-tight outfit. She couldn't help it! But wait; what would their friends say? Would Adagio tell them about her checking her out? Would they have something to say? Well, maybe she'd have to talk to them.

Thankfully, lunch was arriving and she knew Adagio and her sisters just ordered their food or packed them. So once they were all away, she'd talk.

The group settled on a table, thankfully claiming it just in time before anyone else could.

"We'll go get our food, you girls go on ahead and eat." Adagio said, walking past them.

"Kay!"

But before Adagio left, a thought ran in her head. She was right in front of Trixie. Was she going to be checking her out again like back at the vending machine? Only one way for her to find out. She slowly walked towards the set of doors leading back into the hallway. Intentionally, she swayed her hips side to side, entrancing Trixie again.

She looked over her shoulder back at her bespectacled friend and gave a single wink, with an alluring grin on her face. Trixie's face went red again, watching her leave. She slumped in her seat, praying her friends didn't notice. Unfortunately for her, they did.

"Trixie, are you alright?" Vinyl asked.

"I-I-I'm fine, w-why you ask?" Trixie stammered.

"Well your face is red. You're not burning up with a fever are you?" Vinyl said, feeling the top of her head.

"No, Vinyl, I'm fine. I don't have a fever."

Vinyl stopped for a moment, but a thought crossed her mind. "Did you run into a cute guy?"

Trixie turned her gaze away, feeling ashamed.

"Well? Did you?" Lyra asked.

"Well... Okay, I need to talk."

"We're listening--"

"--But you can't tell the Dazzlings!"

Everyone nearly jumped back.

"Wait, why not?"

"Its... its embarrassing, okay? Promise you won't tell them?" Trixie pleaded.

"We promise. Now talk, what's going on with you?" Amethyst asked, taking a bite into her sandwich.

Trixie took a moment to take a deep breath to calm herself. Now was the time to come clean.

"Alright, um... I... I'm not sure but... I think I may have a crush on someone."

"Aww, really?" Vinyl asked.

Trixie sheepishly nodded.

"Well, who's the guy?" Bon Bon asked.

Trixie turned her eyes away, not looking back at anyone. She felt a heavy weight of shame drop upon her, realizing the truth she would have to face them with. After a few seconds of silence, Octavia spoke up next.

"Or girl, doesn't matter!" Octavia said really fast. "We're all friends here, no need to be ashamed."

Trixie sighed. "Alright, I... I think I might have a crush on Adagio."

Vinyl's eyes went wide and she did a spit take, her drink launching over Lyra's head and landing on the table across from them. Thankfully no one was there to get drenched.

"I'm sorry... what!?"

"I know, its wrong and--"

"No, no, no, I'm not discriminating you I'm just... may I ask why specifically Adagio?"

Trixie found the courage in her to look back up at everyone, and spoke.

"I don't know. Ever since she wore that siren's outfit, I haven't been able to keep my eyes off her. She just looks so... attractive. But it's not just the outfit, I... I think it goes back to the first day she arrived. I always liked her from the start. Whenever I was with her, I always felt happy, I always felt like I was safe with her. Whenever we talked, she would always listen to me and not make fun of me, and... she didn't find me weird or ridiculous for the things I liked... Oh gosh, what's wrong with me?" Trixie covered her face.

"No, sweetheart, nothing's wrong with you." Vinyl patted her shoulder.

"I just... I don't know what to do! Adagio probably knows I like her by now but she probably won't like me the same way! I don't want to get hurt but... I don't want her to think I'm some creepy woman..." Trixie's eyes started to water up.

"Hey now, don't cry." Octavia handed her a tissue, letting her wipe her tears. "Sweetheart, I sincerely doubt Adagio would ever think that about you. She's sensible, she'll understand. Besides... maybe she might like you back."

"Y-You really think so?"

"I'm not saying she is, but it could be a possibility." Octavia replied.

"But... what do I do?"

"How about this. If you really like like her like that, you'll tell her the truth. You should be honest up and front with her. If she likes you back that way, I say you're probably a lucky gal. If not, that's okay, I'm sure she'll understand."

"But how do I approach her?" Trixie asked.

"I'm afraid that's something you'll have to figure out on your own Trix. But don't worry, we'll support you all the way." Amethyst smiled, patting her shoulder.

Everyone gave confirming nods, friendly faces all around. Trixie's face turned its frown upside down. At least her friends still had her back.

"T-Thanks girls. Really, thank you."

"Its not a problem. In fact, if you need anything, please, talk to us. We'll listen."

Trixie nodded, comprehending what Octavia said.

"So, are you going to tell her?"

"I will... but probably not today. Maybe another day I'll tell her. I need to do this right."

"We understand sweetheart."

Trixie had never felt more safe than ever before. She was scared of confronting her fears and the truths behind them. But she was glad that her friends were more accepting of what she told. It only made her more thankful and appreciate of the company she had surrounded herself in. And it was something she was always going to treasure from here on out.
