“Do you either of you remember this place?” Asked Vergil as he lead his siblings into an old park.

“Yeah, I remember coming here.” Replied Dante.

“Wasn’t it mom that used to bring us here?” Questioned Sunset Shimmer also known as Kamen Rider Symbol.

“Correct.” Replied Vergil.

“Tell us everything.” Ordered Dante as the three siblings walked towards a set of swings.

“Somethings have always been. There have always been angels and there has always been demons. They have always been at war.” They walked past a wall that displayed an army of angels attacking a horde of demons. “Nine millennium ago one demon rose through the ranks to take power over the demonic hordes. The strongest and cruelest of them all: Mundus.”

Sunset sat down on one of the swings and Dante leaned against the bar as Vergil continued his tale. “But Mundus did not rise alone, at his right hand was his most trusted lieutenant, his blood brother.”

“Sparda?” Asked Dante.

Vergil nodded. “But Sparda betrayed him. He fell in love with an angel: Eva.” The wall behind the swings showed an demonic man kissing an angelic woman. “The union between angel and demon was inconceivable.” Explained Vergil as he sat down on a bench. “But it happened and with it came new life. Twin boys, you and I.” He nodded at Dante. “A hybrid of the warring angel and demon races.”

“And me?” Asked Sunset.

Vergil hesitated. “I don’t know anymore of what you are or where you came from than you do. For what it’s worth I am sorry.”

Symbol sighed. “It’s ok, I’m just disappointed that I was so close and now I’m so far again.” She looked to Vergil. “Continue b-b-b-bro.”

Vergil chuckled. “You don’t have to acknowledge the sibling bond just yet.” He continued his tale. “When Mundus’ learned of Sparda’s betrayal his fury knew no limit. He hunted the lovers down.”

“I can see where this is going.” Muttered Sunset sadly. “Mundus was that bald man I remember fighting, wasn’t he?”

Vergil nodded, then his head whipped back to the Kamen Rider so fast that she and Dante heard something go crack. “You fought Mundus and lived?!”

“Yeah, but I could barely scratch him.”

Vergil stared at his sister for a few seconds before snapping himself out of it. “Anyway, Eva was murdered by his own hand, as for Sparda he demanded a more brutal fate. Endless punishment and pain.” The wall showed a purple man with his head split open crushing a bleeding red haired lady and a black man screaming in pain as he was wrapped in chains.

Vergil got up off the bench and started walking with Dante and Sunset following.

“But even as Eva was destroyed and Sparda was imprisoned for eternity, each knew that the seeds for their revenge had already been sown.” He stopped and turned to his family. “Because according to legend the only beings that can slay a demon king are Nephilim. A hybrid of angel and demon as well as a Kamen Rider. Which is an armoured shape shifting being.”

Dante eyes and Sunset’s lenses widened.

“Those hybrids and Kamen Rider now exist, the three of us.” The wall to the left displayed a red background that had black demons and light blue background that had white angels. In the centre was a black and white being with one angel wing and one demon wing: A Nephilim.

Vergil took them into a tunnel. “Mundus believed that only a single child had been born and that the Kamen Rider was destroyed. But he was wrong, for there were two Nephilim and the Kamen Rider was simply lost. Each of the Nephilims had been hidden well and there was no way for him to find the Kamen Rider. Sparda armed his sons. The Rebellion for Dante and the Yamato for Vergil.”

“At least we know what your sword’s called now.” Commented Sunset.

“Rebellion turned into an axe and a scythe, does Yamato do that?” Asked Dante.

“No.” Chuckled Vergil. “Yamato is more of a simple and deliberate weapon than the flashy Rebellion. Changing the energy in it just changes how I fight with it.”

"Cool!" Sunset had stars in her lenses.

“So Mundus killed our mom and imprisoned our dad?” Asked Dante.

“Yes.” Replied Vergil.

“And we’re the offspring of an angel and a demon?”

“Angel mother and a demon father?” Added Symbol.

“That is correct.” Replied Vergil. “We are Nephilim. We are the only ones that can slay the demon king.”

“Good, how?” Asked Dante.

Vergil opened his mouth but was cut off by a moaning voice:

“Daaaaaaaannnnnnnttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUBBBBBBBBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Two head and one helmet whipped towards the source of the voice. A man was staggering down the alley, his eyes were completely black and black blood leaked out of them.

“A spotter!” Snarled Vergil. “Fucking demon collaborators!” He pulled out a throwing knife and buried it into the man’s forehead.

Symbol jumped away from the wall like it was on fire as it started to shift.

Vergil turned back to his siblings. “Your both being dragged into Limbo! I’ll find Kat, she’ll get you out! Stand strong!”

Dante cracked his neck as Vergil ran off.

A pair of Shielded Bathos appeared and Dante opened fire on them with Ebony and Ivory, only for the bullets to bounce off the shields.

“Dante! We’ve already figured out that bullet’s don’t work on shields!” Yelled Sunset she was forced to block several of the bullet with the Active Blade as they bounced around randomly.

“Sorry! Demon pull! Angel lift!” He robbed the demon of its shield with the demonic grapple and got level to the Bathos with its angelic counterpart. “Hanger!” Before slashing at the demon several times with Osiris. “Drop!” Switching Osiris for Arbiter Dante plummeted down smashing the demon into the ground with the axe blade. It struggled to get up “Hacker!” Only to be cut into bits by Rebellion.

The bind and ice rings appeared on the ring and index fingers of the driver’s hand author in flashes of orange and ice blue, Sunset pressed the right shift lever, making the driver’s hand author turn to the right, the bind ring flowed with orange light and the ice ring shined with ice blue light.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: ICE BIND PLEASE!]

The bind and ice glyphs appeared to Symbol’s right transforming her into the active ice bind style as light bell chimes, followed by the sound of a chain rattling came from the driver. Symbol robbed the Shielded Bathos of its shield with a bind chain. Then she fired several shots from the Active Rifle and changed forms.

The boost and defend rings appeared on the index and rings fingers of the driver’s hand author in flashes of purple and silver. Sunset pressed the right shift lever, making the boost ring glow with purple light and the defend ring shine with grey light.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: BOOST DEFEND PLEASE!]

The boost and defend glyphs unfolded to Sunset’s right, they passed through her as springing sounds, followed by a shield going bong came from the driver. Leaping up at the demon, Sunset twisted around in mid-air and kicked it down to the ground.

“Here we go! Falling strike!” Sunset pulled the boost and defend rings from the driver’s hand author. She pulled open the Active Blade’s hand author and slide the rings onto its index and ring fingers respectively.

The Active Blade was engulfed in torrent purple and grey energy that took the shape of the Defend Guard as Symbol fell from the sky and stabbed the blade into the demon causing it to explode. Getting up from her kneeling stance the Kamen Rider saw a Death Knight approaching.

The burst ring vanished from the middle finger of the driver’s hand author in a flash of purple. Which became a flash of green as the giga ring took its place, Sunset pressed the left shift lever making the hand author turn to the left.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: GIGA PLEASE: BREAK THROUGH!]

The giga glyph appeared under Sunset’s feet, it moved up through her as the sound of a heavy metal solo came from the driver. She slammed the Giga axe into the demon’s shield. “Giga embodyment!” Pressing down on the left shift lever three times.

[MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL: GIGA: A RANK SPELL!]

And blocked a blow with her forearm which turned to metal.

The active, bind and ice rings appeared, Sunset pressed the left shift lever, making the hand author turn to the left, making the active ring shine.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: ACTIVE PLEASE: LETS GO!]

The active glyph appeared to her left and moved through Symbol as a triumphant rock melody came from the driver. Then she pressed the right shift lever.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: ICE BIND PLEASE!]

The Kamen Rider shot out a bind chain and wrapped it around the Death Knight’s shield before pulling, causing the demon to stumble as it lost it balance.

The giga ring replaced the active ring, Sunset pressed the left shift lever and the hand author turned to the left.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: GIGA PLEASE: BREAK THROUGH!]

She pulled open the Giga Spear’s hand author, and slipped the giga ring onto its middle finger.

[COME ON AND STAB SHAKE HANDS: GIGA: STAB STRIKE!]

Sunset charged aura into her Giga Spear until it was glowing green. “Piercing giga!” Sunset thrust it forwards sending a lance of green aura at the Death Knight which was sent flying ass over tea kettle.

Dante jumped into the air and transformed Rebellion into Arbiter. “Drop!” He plummeted down slamming the demonic axe into the Death Knight doing some major damage. “Demon pull! Trinity smash!” The Nephilim yanked on the Death Knight’s shield with the demonic grappling hook, forcing it to lose balance then slammed the demonic axe into its body three times. “Tremor!” He slammed the demonic weapon into the ground and the wave of demon energy threw the Death Knight into the air. “Angel lift!” Dante caught up with it thanks to the angelic grappling hook, and switched to Osiris. “Double up!” He spun the blade around hooking the demon with it and flinging it higher into the air, using the scythe’s momentum to go after it. “Roulette!” He spun around slashing the demon several times with Rebellion and using the momentum to deliver a hard upward slash.

Sunset slammed the Giga Axe down. “Giga smash!” The green aura covered weapon destroying the Death Knight’s shield. “Enough of this! Giga’s wrath!” She pressed the left shift lever four times, making the giga ring shine.

[MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL: VERY NICE: GIGA: S RANK SPELL: THE BEST!]

Green aura blazed around Symbol’s right hand as she clenched it into the fist and threw it forwards smashing the demon’s chest to bits and causing the rest to explode.

“Please don’t let there be anymore!” Muttered the Kamen Rider.

“And you jinxed us.” Complained Dante as a chainsaw was heard and a wall was ripped down to reveal a demon that looked like a Lesser Stygian only with more armour and a chainsaw for an arm.

“I’m calling that the Ravager.”

“Die!” Dante ran at the demon with Rebellion drawn.

Only for the demon to set itself on fire and run at him, knocking the sword to the side and ramming the chainsaw through his chest!

“DANTE!” Shrieked Sunset as her brother was thrown to the side. “Why you! Destruction of giga!” Sunset pressed the left shift lever four times.

Then pulled open the Giga Axe’s hand author, before slipping the giga ring onto its middle finger.

[COME ON AND SMASH SHAKE HANDS: GIGA: SMASH STRIKE!]

Green aura gather around the Giga Axe and around her gloves before getting sucked into the axe as a maelstrom of green aura burst into being around her body. “This hurts!” Hissed Symbol as she struggled to control that amount of power. “Take this!” The Kamen Rider charged forwards and slammed her axe down on the demon, forcing it to block with its chainsaw. To Symbol’s shock it started to break through her attack! “WHAT THE-?” The chainsaw finished forcing its way through the aura and cut through the blade of the Giga Axe and the Ravager drew it across Sunset’s chestplate, drawing sparks like blood and sending her flying back.

Thankfully the chainsaw had used most of its power cutting through Sunset’s attack and since she was in her most armoured style it only left a thin scratch. Symbol slammed painfully into a wall. She shook off her dazed and hauled herself to her feet, just in time to see Dante try and attack the Ravager with Arbiter only to be sent flying by the blunt side of the chainsaw. “We can’t beat this thing.” Muttered Sunset, suddenly, the giga ring replaced the burst ring, it was pulsing purple, Symbol gave the rider equivalent of a smile. “Good timing.” She pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: BURST PLEASE: CAST THE SPELL!]

Changing into her burst style as downbeat rock music came from the driver, a new pair of rings appeared on the index and ring fingers of the driver’s hand author. The index ring was coloured purple with a brown gem in the centre of it, while the ring finger ring was coloured purple and had a silver mirror shaped gem in the centre of it that had black outlines.

“Lets give this a go!” Sunset pressed down on the right shift lever, making the and author turn to the right, the rings glowed in their respective colours.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: DUST MIRROR PLEASE!]

A sweeping sound followed by the sound of a mirror cracking came from the driver as the new glyphs appeared. The first was a brown dust logo, inside a brown diamond, inside a brown eight pointed star, that was inside a brown two layered diamond which had runic text between its layers. The second glyph was identical to the first, except it was coloured silver and had a mirror logo in the centre of it.

Sunset’s gloves gained silver mirror like armour on the back of her hands and knuckles, while brown armour covered her hips and upper arms. Her knee armour gained a reflective sheen and a silver mirror like shield appeared on the back of her right forearm.

Symbol looked at the shield like weapon. “A shield against a chainsaw? This is either gonna be really good or end really badly.” The Ravager set itself on fire and charged. “Lets hope this works!” She pressed the right shift lever twice, making the mirror ring shine with white light.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: MIRROR MAGIC PLEASE!]

The Mirror Reflector emitted a silver aura that formed into a wall of aura, the Ravager crashed into it. After a few seconds cracks started to show. “Nuts!” Sunset dove out of the way and slashed at the demon’s side as it ran past.

“That shield lasted longer than a S ranked smash strike! Lets try this!” She pressed the right shift lever the dust ring glowed with brown light.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: DUST MAGIC PLEASE!]

Aura gathered in Sunset’s hand forming into a cube, with a glowing ball in the middle of it. Symbol threw it forwards and the cube surrounded the demon. The ball exploded, completely obliterate the monster with the cube containing the explosion.

“That was quick.” Sunset ran over to Dante. “You ok?”

“Yeah I’m, fine.” The two of them ran out of the circle they were in and at the end of a street was Kat, finishing up a magic circle.

“Dante, Sunset! The gateway’s ready! Come on!”

“Couldn’t you have put it closer?!” Shouted Symbol.

“Why?”

Limbo suddenly caused the road to rear up and then drop away, leaving a large gap that was too big to jump and had no lock on points for a bind chain, the Demon pull or the Angel lift.

“Woah!” Muttered Dante.

“THATS WHY!”

“Sorry! Can you get across?”

“WHAT DO YOU THINK?!”

“We’ll have to find another way around!” Called Dante as he and his sister ran back into the circle. Suddenly, it started to shift, pillars of black demon goo burst from the ground and froze, two massive stone slabs started floating around an island in the centre, spinning as they did so.

Sunset ran forwards, slashing down one Lesser Stygian with the Active Blade before blocking a blow from another with the Mirror Reflector. The active, slasher and aqua rings appeared on their respective fingers. Sunset the left shift lever, making the hand author flip to the left.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: ACTIVE PLEASE: LETS GO!]

The active glyph appeared to her left and passed over her, as Sunset hit the right shift lever, making the hand author turn to the right.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: SLASHER AQUA PLEASE!]

As the slasher and aqua glyph passed over her, Sunset pressed the right shift lever, making the slasher ring glow.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: SLASHER MAGIC PLEASE!]

All six Slasher Tidal Claws were covered in red lightning. “Lightning claws!” Symbol used them to tear the Lesser Stygian to bits. Crossing her claws over her head Sunset blocked another blow and kicked the Lesser Stygian back, before ramming the Slasher Tidal Claws into its waist to throw it at another Lesser Stygian.

Sunset pressed the left shift three times, making both the slasher and aqua rings glow with their own colours.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: SLASHER AQUA MAGIC PLEASE!]

“Spinning claws!” Sunset jumped forwards spinning while holding her claws out to the side, the already injured Lesser Stygian exploded and the other one was badly damaged.

Sunset swapped the active ring for its burst counterpart and pressed down on the left shift lever, making the hand author flip to the left.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: BURST PLEASE: CAST THE SPELL!]

Symbol pulled open the burst wand’s hand author and scanned the burst ring. “Burst beam!” Sunset pulled open the Burst Wand’s hand author and slipped the burst ring onto its middle finger from the driver.

[COME ON AND CAST SHAKE HANDS: BURST: CASTING STRIKE!]

A ball of energy appeared on the tip of the Burst Wand and Symbol fired it at the demon.

*BOOM!*

It violently exploded destroying said demon.

Dante slammed Arbiter into the ground. “Tremor!” The wave of demonic energy catapulted the Lesser Stygian into the air. “Double up!” Twirling Osiris around he hooked the second Lesser Stygian with the blade and flung it into the air, using the momentum to pulling himself after it. “Hanger! Aerial rave!” The Nephilim slashed at the Lesser Stygian with several wide sweeps before swapping Osiris then switched to Rebellion and slashed at the demon with the blade. “Helm breaker!” He sent the demon plummeting back down to the ground with an overhead swing. Landing back on the ground he parried an attack with Rebellion and buried several of Ebony’s bullets into the Lesser Stygian that he had sent into the air with Arbiter earlier killing it. “Ricoshot!” Dante charged energy into Ebony and Ivory, pulling the trigger she sent two bullets at the Lesser Stygian that bounced to another demon. “Overdrive!” Dante fired three energy waves and killed one Lesser Stygian, damaging another.

“Angel lift! Death coil!” Pulling himself over to the damaged Lesser Stygian Dante gave it several spinning slashing, using the momentum to deliver a powerful upwards slash and killing it with a two handed downwards slash. “Stinger! Trillion stabs!” He stabbed the last Lesser Stygian with Rebellion and then did so again multiple times. “High time!” Then cut the demon in half with an upwards swing.

Then a Ravager pulled itself from the ground. “I’ll take care of this! Cover me! Reflect wall!” The demon set itself on fire and charged as Symbol cast her spell, the dust and mirror rings appeared on their respective fingers of the driver’s hand author, she pressed the right shift lever once.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: DUST MIRROR PLEASE!]

The pressed the right shift lever twice more.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: MIRROR MAGIC PLEASE!]

The aura wall sprang up in front of the demon and held briefly before collapsing. But Sunset was able to duck to the side and slash at the demon’s side with the edge of the Mirror Reflector.

“Overdrive!” Dante fired three energy waves from Rebellion and they exploded against the demon drawing sparks like blood from it.

[COME ON AND CAST SHAKE HANDS: DUST MIRROR: CASTING STRIKE!]

A beam of silver and brown aura shot from the burst wand. “Refraction dust beam!” Smashing into the demon’s back as it ran past. It gave a scream of rage as it spun around with its chainsaw ready. “Yip!” Sunset flung up the Mirror Reflector blocking the attack but was slowly being forced back as her boots tried to get a grip.

“Ricoshot!” Two bullets spiralling around each other like a drill smashed into the demon’s back forcing it to collapse to its knees.

Sunset pressed the right shift lever four times.

“Dust reflection blast!” The Ravager looked up just in time to see a beam of pure brown aura that was covered in silver aura slam into its face with so much force that it exploded. “Thanks for the assistance!”

“Your welcome! Angel lift!”

“Wait for me!” The active, boost and defend rings appeared in flashes of red, purple and grey. Sunset pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: ACTIVE PLEASE: LETS GO!]

Then she pressed the right shift lever.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: BOOST DEFEND PLEASE!]

Dante Angel lifted up to a walkway with Symbol jumping after him. They ran along it until they were blocked by another Ravager.

“Sunset, try and fight outside your active defend style this time!” Ordered Dante.

“What?! Why?!”

“Because if you just fight certain demons in certain forms then it’ll get predictable, which is bad if we run into a demon that is smart!”

“Good point!” The swift ring appeared on the middle finger of the driver’s hand author in a flash of yellow. Sunset pressed the left shift lever, making the hand author flip to the left.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: SWIFT PLEASE: DASH AWAY!]

The swift glyph appeared and fell through Symbol as a short upbeat jazz tune came from the driver.

The demon set itself on fire and charged.

“Drive!” Dante swung Rebellion forwards and sent a wave of energy at the demon, forcing it to stop its charge. Sunset pressed the left shift lever twice, making the swift ring shine.

[MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL: SWIFT: B RANK SPELL!]

Sunset blurred appearing all around the demon as she fired bullets from the Swift Blaster at the Ravager. “Swift move!” It gave a loud roar as it tried to swat at her, completely missing Dante’s approach.

“Prop shredder!” Dante spun Osiris like a vertical propeller sending the demon into the air before spinning it in the other direction as the demon fell back on the weapon. Symbol pressed the left shift lever three times, the swift ring glowed with yellow light.

“Swift punches!” Sunset punched the demon several times so fast her hand blurred.

The giga ring materialized on the left middle finger of the driver’s hand author in a flash of green, Symbol pressed the left shift lever, making the giga ring glow emerald.

She pressed the left shift lever twice as the giga glyph rose up through her, transforming Sunset into the giga style.

[MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL: GIGA: B RANK SPELL!]

Symbol covered both her hands in green aura. “Seismic smash!” She thrust them forwards slamming a double palm strike into the demon’s torso.

The Ravager was sent flying right at Dante. “Judgment!” Who slammed Arbiter down cutting the chainsaw wielding demon in half.

“This way!” They both ran up a small ramp. “Angel lift!” Dante used the angelic grappling hook three times to get to another ledge. The active, boost and defend rings appeared in flashes of red, purple and grey. Sunset pressed the left shift lever, making the active ring shine.

Then she pressed the right shift lever, making the hand author flip to the right, the boost and defend rings shined with purple and grey light.

Jumped after her brother, using the rocks that he had hooked onto as launch pads.

The ice and bind rings replaced the boost and defend rings. Sunset pressed the right shift lever, making both rings emit light of their own colours.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: ICE BIND PLEASE!]

The Kamen Rider launched a bind chain from the Grapple Gauntlet and pulled another ledge from a wall.

“Good job.” The two of them jumped up two floating platforms and saw something on the island in the centre of the circle. “Another blue rose?” Questioned Dante. He jumped to one of the platforms that was orbiting the island, only to time his jump wrong and land on it just as the thing was turning over! “Shit!”

Sunset transformed and jumped at her brother, yanking him from the platform and onto the island. “Watch it knucklehead!”

“Sorry!” Dante grabbed the blue rose and they were back in the mindscape again.

As they appeared Dante felt new knowledge of the Angel boost appear in his mind. Meanwhile a pair of new rings appeared on the index and ring fingers of her driver’s hand author, between them on the middle finger the swift ring appeared. The new index ring was coloured yellow, and had a silver wing shaped gem in the centre of it that had red outlines. The other ring was coloured yellow and had a blue gem in the centre of it that resembled a rifle and had black outlines.

Symbol pressed down on the left shift lever, making the swift ring glow yellow.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: SWIFT PLEASE: DASH AWAY!]

Then pressed down on the right shift lever, turning the hand author to the right and causing it to scan the new rings.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: WINGS SNIPER PLEASE!]

The swift glyph along with the new glyphs appeared above her.

The first was a silver wing logo, in the centre of a silver inverted triangle, inside a silver eight pointed star, inside a silver inverted triangle that had two layers, between which was runic text. The second glyph was coloured dark blue, in the centre of it was a rifle symbol, it was within an inverted triangle within an eight pointed star, within a second inverted triangle that had two layers between which was runic text. They fell through her as the sound of wings flapping followed by a rifle being fired and reloaded came from the driver.

The triangle in the centre of Sunset’s chestplate turned into a silver wing symbol and a dark blue rifle logo. Symbol’s shoulder armour turned into a pair of silver domes in front of each was a silver jet wing with red outlines. Out of Sunset’s backplate a pair of glowing white / yellow angel wings emerged that gave a gentle flap. Her right arm gained a dark blue firing gauntlet and the bracelet turned into what looked like an ammo belt. A rifle appeared in each of her hands, they were longer than the Swift Blaster, but shorter than the Active Rifle. They were dark blue with a black ammo magazine, handle and barrel. Over each shoulder and attached to each hip was an identical rifle but much bigger.

“Nice form.” They ran along the platform that looked to be part of a road that was cracked then splintered and reached a gap that was too big to cross, with no hook on points for the Angel lift or the Demon pull. That left one option, Dante jumped before spreading his arms to the side and seemingly kicking the air. “Angel boost!” He was propelled forwards trailing blue air behind himself.

“Nice!” Sunset jumped after him, her Flight Wings giving a single strong flap propelling her over the gap. The two of them landed on another platform that looked like it was once part of a road with a tree off to the right. “Let’s keep up the pace!”

“Angel boost!” Another boost and a flap took them to an island that was the side of a building which they ran along. “Angel boost!” Boosting to another platform that looked like part of a road with a tree to the left. “Angel boost!” Another jump and flap took the two of them to the top of a building that had been shaped into some kind of modern artwork. They ran down part of it. “Angel boost!” And boosted down to another island that looked like a dark green floor with red circles painted into it and a piece of a wall to the right. The siblings ran up a flight of stairs and through a doorway. “Angel lift!” Dante hooked the grapple line onto a rock above them and pulled himself up. “Shit to short! Please let this work! Angel boost!” He boosted forwards and landed on the other side of the gap.

“This is gonna be harder for me!” Muttered Sunset. The active, boost and defend rings appeared in flashes of red, purple and grey. Sunset pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: ACTIVE PLEASE: LETS GO!]

The active glyph appeared to her right and passed over her as a triumphant rock melody came from the driver. Sunset pressed the right shift lever, making the hand author flip to the right as spring sounds, followed by a bong came from the driver.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: BOOST DEFEND PLEASE!]

The boost and defend glyph appeared to her right and swept over her. Sunset leapt up to the rock that Dante had hooked the Angel lift onto and jump from it.

The swift, sniper and wings rings appeared in flashes of yellow, silver and blue. Sunset pressed the left shift lever, making the hand author turn to the left and the driver play a short upbeat jazz tune.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: SWIFT PLEASE: DASH AWAY!]

The swift glyph fell through her as Sunset pressed the right shift lever, flipping the hand author to the right and making the wing and sniper rings shine in their own colours.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: WINGS SNIPER PLEASE!]

The sound of wings flapping and a sniper rifle being fired and reloaded came from the driver as the two glyph appeared and fell through the Kamen Rider. Her Flight Wings let her glide so she landed beside her brother. “Lets go!”

“Go it! Angel lift!” Dante used the angelic grapple line to get up to a rock. “Angel boost!” Then boosted so that he was in reach of the next rock. “Angel lift!” Hooking on he pulled himself the rest of the way. “Angel boost!” And the Nephilim boosted once more so that he was above the stairs. “Getting the hang of this!”

Sunset was about to follow him, which would involve several carefully timed switches between swift wing sniper style and active boost defend style, one mistake meaning certain death. When she stopped, looking down at the water, then at the rocks, one lense twitched. “Why didn’t I think of this sooner?! Aura warp!” She swapped the swift ring for the burst ring and pressed down on the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: BURST PLEASE: CAST THE SPELL!]

The burst glyph appeared behind her and passed over Symbol as the driver played a downbeat rock tune. She pressed down on the left shift lever four times.

[MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL: VERY NICE: S RANK SPELL: THE BEST!]

Symbol vanished in a flash of purple and reappeared next to Dante.

“Woah!” Shouted Dante as he nearly drew his guns. “Warn me next time!”

“Wouldn’t be much of a teleportation if I telegraphed where I was gonna pop up.” Snipped back Sunset as they ran up a flight of stairs and through a door.

“Angel boost!” Dante jumped boosting about halfway across the gap. “Demon pull!” And yanked a floating platform so that it was under his feet as he dropped down.

“Saved me some work.” Muttered Symbol. The swift, sniper and wings rings appeared in flashes of yellow, silver and blue. Sunset pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: SWIFT PLEASE: DASH AWAY!]

The swift glyph fell through her as the driver played an upbeat jazz tune. Then Sunset pressed the right shift lever, making the hand author turn to the right and the other two rings glow.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: WINGS SNIPER PLEASE!]

The two glyphs fell through her and she jumped to the platform, her Flight Wings letting her glide onto it.

“Angel boost!” Dante jumped to the next island that looked like a flight of stairs and Symbol followed with a wing flap. They ran up a flight of stairs to the rock holding the chain. “Trinity smash!” Which Dante smashed to fragments with three blows from Arbiter. “What are you hiding in there?” Muttered Dante as the statue’s head turned towards them, the light emitting from its eyes blinding them.

The two of them appeared on the island in Limbo. Several Bathos like demons appeared, only they were armed with a crossbow instead of bombs.

“Flying rats?”

That caused Sunset to burst out laughing. Once she had gotten it under control minus a few giggles she said: “I’ll take care of the ‘flying rats’ you deal with the ground forces.”

Dante sighed. “I’m never gonna live that down? Am I?”

“Nope!”

“I need to watch what I say around you!” Growled the Nephilim as he jumped down and his sister took to the air.

“Here we go!” Sunset flew at the Pathos slashing it with the Swift Dagger. She quickly backed off allowing several crossbow bolts to miss. Zooming towards the second Pathos she barrel rolled to dodge more crossbow bolts. “Lets try this!! Cyclone sky!” Symbol pressed the right shift lever, making the wing ring shine.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: WING MAGIC PLEASE!]

She wrapped her wings around herself like a cocoon and increased her speed slamming into the demon and tearing right through it, the two halves exploded. Spinning around Sunset pressed down on the right shift lever and scanned the wing ring. “Time to end this! Wing blades!” The wing ring glowed a brilliant silver.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: WING MAGIC PLEASE!]

Silver light ran along the edges of her wings making them as sharp as a laser. Symbol blurred forwards her right wing cutting the demon in half both of which exploded.

Dante Angel lifted down to a Lesser Stygian. “Hacker! Death coil!” Which was killed via three quick slashes, several spinning slashes, a hard momentum powered downwards slash and a two handed upwards diagonal slash. He jumped into the air. “Demon pull!” Yanking a Lesser Stygian into the air, the Nephilim pulled out Arbiter. “Aerial flush!” Firing an energy image of the axe’s head at the demon. “GAH!” He was hit from behind by a Lesser Stygian. “Why you! Prop shredder!” He spun the angelic scythe like a propeller then reversed its direction and let the demon fall back on it. “Stinger! Trillion stabs!” He stabbed the demon once with Rebellion then did so again several times.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: VERY NICE: WING SNIPER MAGIC: THE BEST!]

“Sky high rider kick!” Dante looked up just in time to see Sunset shooting down from the sky, both of her boots covered in yellow aura that also covered her in a cone of aura. She slammed both feet into the chest of a Lesser Stygian, the demon was sent flying back and exploded from the sheer force of the blow. Symbol jumped away and rolled pulling out the Swift Dagger as she did so.

Pulling open its hand author she slipped the wing ring onto its index finger and the sniper ring onto its ring finger.

[COME ON AND HIT SHAKE HANDS: WING SNIPER: DAGGER STRIKE!]

Symbol slashed out with the weapon. “Wing crescent!” Forming a crescent of blue and silver aura that spun and cut into the Lesser Stygian repeatedly.

The active ring appeared on the middle finger of the driver’s hand author in a flash of red, she pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: ACTIVE PLEASE: LETS GO!]

The active glyph appeared to her left and swept over her as the driver played a triumphant rock melody. Sunset pressed the left shift lever three times, making the active ring shine with red light.

[MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL: ACTIVE: A RANK SPELL!]

“Lightning impact!” The demon had no time to do anything as a fist covered in red lightning slammed into its jaw resulting in it exploding.

“Trinity smash!” Dante slammed Arbiter into a Death Knight, shattering its shield. “Tremor!” He slammed the axe into the ground and the energy wave flung the demon into the air. “Angel lift!” He caught up with it. “Hanger!” He slashed at the Death Knight with several wide sweeps from Osiris. “Demon pull!” He yanked it back into the air. “Roulette!” Before slashing it with several spinning slash from Rebellion and finishing the demon off with a upwards slash that had all of the built up momentum behind it.

Sunset ran at one Ravager, the burst, dust and mirror rings appeared on the middle, index and ring fingers of the driver’s hand author in flashes of purple, brown and silver. Symbol pressed the left shift lever, making the driver play a downbeat rock melody as the burst ring shined.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: BURST PLEASE: CAST THE SPELL!]

The burst glyph appeared and swept over her as Sunset pressed the right shift lever, making the hand author switch to the right and the two rings glow with their own colours.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: DUST MIRROR PLEASE!]

The two glyph appeared behind her and sweat over her transforming Sunset into her burst dust mirror style she forced the chainsaw to the side and delivered two quick aura blasts and backed off from the retaliatory swipe.

She pulled open the Burst Wand’s hand author then slipped the dust ring onto its index finger and the mirror ring onto its ring finger.

[COME ON AND CAST SHAKE HANDS: DUST MIRROR: CASTING STRIKE!]

“Refraction dust beam!” She fired a beam of brown and silver aura from the Burst Wand. The blast slammed into the Ravager making it scream in pain. Jumping back Sunset fired a second blast.

It slammed into the demon’s gut, tearing it in half.

“DANTE SMASH! Tremor!” The Ravager was thrown into the air by the demonic energy wave. “Demon pull!” Then slammed back into the ground by the demonic grappling hook. It set itself on fire and charged, only for Dante to dodge. “Karma!” He slashed at the demon’s back with Osiris and switched to Ebony and Ivory. “Inverted Rainstorm!” He spun while jumping into the air and firing his guns. “Rake!” Dante used the scythe to pulled the Ravager into the air. “Drop!” And smashed it back into the ground with Arbiter. “Time to end this!” Jumping back he flipped Rebellion into the reversed grip and charged energy into it. The Ravager got up, set itself on fire and charged, just as Rebellion finished charging. “Overdrive!” The demon had no time to do anything other than widen what it had for eyes as three energy waves smashed into it, turning it to dust. “Kat, we’re on our way!”

The two of them ran out of the circle. “Angel boost!” Dante jumped to a ledge and then onto the circle.

The swift, sniper and wings rings appeared in flashes of yellow, silver and blue. Sunset pressed the left shift lever, making the driver play a short upbeat jazz tune as the swift ring glowed.

The sound of a sniper rifle being fired and reloaded played from the driver after the sound of wings flapping came from it. The Flight Wings snapped open, letting Sunset glide across the gap.

A screen displayed a large spiral like building. “Silver Stacks Towers.” Explained Vergil. “The world’s most powerful investment bank. And who runs it?” He pressed a button and the screen displayed a bald man in a business suit.

Sunset snorted. “Sorry.” Vergil and Dante looked at her. “He’s bald.”

“That’s very funny.” Deadpanned Vergil. “He’s the CEO Kyle Ryder. A human vessel; the physical manifestation of Mundus the demon king.” Another image came up. “Through debt, he controls everything.” Vergil looked more and more disgusted as he explained. “To Mundus, the world is a factory farm for human souls. He likes to keep his animals monitored and docile.” The image of security cameras came up. “The monitoring is done by the Raptor News Corporation. A global network of CCTV cameras, satellites and spies.” An image of a news man and a tower appeared on the screen.

Dante seemed to recognize the news man.

“You know him?” Asked Symbol.

“He’s called Bob Barbas and has bashed me every single day on his TV show.” Hissed out Dante.

“Can’t wait for him to meet my friend: Active Blade!” Hissed out Sunset.

“You two done?” Asked Vergil.

“Yeah / Sorry.” Came the replies.

Vergil continued with his explanation. “The way he keeps us docile is a little more insidious.”

“What is it?” Asked Dante as he took a sip from a drink can. Suddenly, it was knocked out of his hand. “SUNSET! What the hell?!”

“Sorry, but that thing just screams wrong!” Came the defensive reply.

“Sunset’s right. The way Mundus keeps us docile was just in your hand.” Explained Vergil. At the confused looks he continued. “Planet earth’s most popular soft drink; Virility. The demons have spike it.”

Dante spit into a trash can.

Vergil chuckled. “Don’t worry, it has no effect on us, only humans.”

Dante still kicked the can into the same trash can he had spit into.

“It’s lobotomy in a can.”

“So what’s the plan?” Asked Dante.

Vergil brought up an image of a giant man and several smaller people. Above which was a spiral that sent energy into the large man. “That’s the hell gate. It’s a conduit from which Mundus draw his power. While he’s connected to the hell gate, he’s immortal.”

“I’m not liking the sound of this.” Muttered a pale Sunset.

“It’s how he beat Sparda and Eva, without it either could have taken him in their sleep. But if we get him away from the hell gate, our swords will do the rest.”

“So how do we do that?” Asked Dante.

“We get his attention. Mundus is petty, he’s impulsive. If we hit him where it hurts, let his anger rule him, I believe we can draw him out.”

“So we have to get a being that could kill the strongest archangel and banished the most powerful demon mad at us? How is that a good plan?!” Demanded Symbol.

“If you have a better idea, then I would love to hear it.”

Dante stopped the fight before it could break out by speaking up. “Ok, so to drag Mundus away from the hell gate we need to draw him out. We do that by pissing him off.”

“Yes.” Replied Vergil.

“And we piss him off by taking out the Raptor News Network and Virility?”

“Not how I’d put it but roughly speaking that's it.”

“So which one do you want to do first?”
