It was a dark and stormy night, a perfect time to be eating a fishstick.

A silver coated stallion was walking around Canterlot castle, seeming to have lost his way again.

"Why can't I ever find my room? It is always in the same place, or is it? Nah it has to be. Isn't it?"

The stallion saw some gaurds pattroling the corridors. "I really don't remember this inn having gaurds, or even be this big, I think I teleported to the wrong place, never have mastered my magic yet. At least I have great looks and a genius brain with no sense of direction.

The stallion walked on for a bit, then started to rant.

" But that isn't good enough for her, she doesn't like me that way, well I'll eventually get something I want, even if I might get killed though...." The silver stallion froze in fear as a gaurd called at him.

The stallion didn't know what to do so he bolted from the gaurd at high speeds. When he reached the front of the castle, there were guards waiting for him.

"Do you gaurds have telepathy? Because it's near impossible for you to have been alerted this easliy..."

"Shut it!" Yelled the gaurd in front, "You have been sneaking through the castle corriders at night, bolted from a gaurd, and was saying something about getting killed in a process which is probably illegal, how do you plead?"

"SHERMAN HELP ME!!" The silver stallion yelled. Then, out of nowhere, came a dancing, pony sized waffle wearing a top hat. All the gaurds looked at it in disbelief as the silver unicorn teleported away, with the waffle.

The gaurds started muttering something, one of them saying " We should make wanted posters of a silver unicorn stallion with a bronze mane and tail with a muffin cutie mark."

"Yeah, that should stick out like a pie surrounded by cakes."

"Wierd rellation, but true."

Twilight was stretching from her sleep. She dreamt she lived in a library and had a hard time waking Spike up.
When Twilight opened her eyes she remembered it wasn't a dream.

"Spike, i have some rubies that look real tasty for you." Spike stayed asleep.

"Did i forget to mention that Rarity got these for you out of love?" Twilight said with a slightly devilish grin. Spikes eyes rushed open and jumped of bed, but slipped and landed on the hard floor. "Oh wait, i forgot you did that to her a long time ago. Sorry, my mistake."

"You know I hate it when you lie to me about Rarity doing something out of love to me." Spike said getting up.

"I only do it for two reasons. Reason number one, it's to wake you up, and reason number two is that it's fun." Twilight remarked.

"Doesn't mean you can say it anytime you want, have you tried slaping me to wake me up? Or pour hot water on my face?"

"It doesn't matter now, just that today we should be getting some more books then we could do what we want."

"Alright just let get some coffee first."

"Why?" Twilght asked

"Because knowing you it would help me stay awake longer." Spike answered with a smile.

After a while, Spike fell asleep. Deciding not to wake him up, she went into town and saw a familliar looking stallion. He had a silver coat, a bronze mane, and a cutie mark in the shape of a bunch wierd, rectangular things. "Silver Jet? Is that you?" Twilight called out. The stallion looked at Twilight and smiled. "Twilight! It's so good to see you again! How've you been doing?"

"I've been doing great! How about you?

"I've been good, looking for a place to work and stay in Ponyville right now."

"That's wonderful! Mabye we should catch up sometime?"

"I would really enjoy that. Thank you."

"No problem, it was nice seeing you again."

"It's been a pleasure, see you later."

"See you later." And with that, Twilight continued her daily duties, still having Silver stuck in her mind.

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were flying through Ponyville for lunch when they saw Twilight, so they dropped in to say hello. "Hey Twilight, how's it going?"

"Hello, Twilight,.how are you doing?"

"I'm doing good guys, how's your romance flourishing?"

"It's working out well Twilight, we were just about to grab some grub,and you seem to be in an extra happy mood, what's up? Did the new copy of Daring Do come out?"

"Sadly, no. I'm just catching up with an old friend later, and heading down to Rarity's to say hi and whatnot."

"And you're not going to pick up a cute dress while your there?"

Twilight hesitated at Rainbows response. She was indeed going to put on something cute, but not a dress.

"No Rainbow, I'm not going to get a cute dress, and why did you ask anyway?"

"It's just because you haven't seen him in years, right? And you're obviously attracted to his looks."

"And how would you know all this?" Asked Twilight, irratated.

"It's because I saw you talking with him when I was doing my weather duties and you looked like you just saw something beautiful, though not as beautiful as my Fluttershy." And Rainbow kissed Fluttershy on the cheek.

Twilight blushed at the thought of her and Silver together. It's just too unreal. "It's nothing like that, Dash, were just two old friends catching up while having some coffee."

"That's called a date, Twi."

"A friend date. Just two friends catching up." Twilight's voice was a little threatening, but not enough to terrify the two.

"All right, whatever you say Twi, but it's still a date." And with that Rainbow was off.

"She's right, Twilight, you can't hide it's a date, see you later." Fluttershy's final comment put a smile on Twilights face when she left. Twilight then continued to Rarity's, where she'll get a cute hat or something.

When Twilight entered the Carousel Boutique, Rarity was all over her about what the stallion looks like and what his name is.

"Who is it darling, please spill!"

"First off, how do you know I have a date?"

"Dash told me on her way to pick up Fluttershy for lunch, so now tell!" Rarity asked extremely interested.

"Alright fine, he's a unicorn pony named Silver Jet, he has a silver coat and bronze mane. His cutie mark is a bunch of rectangular things."

"What are they?"

"I don't know, he hasn't told me what his special talent is yet. Anyway, I need something cute, not a dress, but something not too obvious that I well, kinda have a crush on him."

"Of course darling, I have just what you need. Wait here." Twilight obeyed and found some books to read, fashion books, yes, but books. After ten minutes or so, Rarity came out with a cute little green hat. It had a butterfly on a flower on it. Twilight looked at it thoughtfully and finally agreed that it was perfect.

"Thank you Rarity, see you later."

"No problem, darling, anytime."
