"Couldn't you just tell me it tomorrow instead of now? I'm excited now." Gohan said.

"Nope!" Twilight said.

"Then what was the point of announcing it to me now!?" Gohan asked.

"Suspense!" Twilight said.

"Wh-... Ugh... Alright, let's see it tomorrow." Gohan said, defeated.

"What happened over there?" Twilight asked.

"I took Sunset to see my dad participate in the Other World Tournament." Gohan said.

"Don't you mean 'Sunny?'" Twilight asked with a smirk.

"That was out of rage, and- How did you know?" Gohan asked.

"I have a journal with Sunset too, you know." Twilight said.

"Oh." Gohan responded.

"I recommend you call her that, she actually wants you to do it." Twilight said.

"Oh. Thanks..." Gohan said.

He's kinda contemplating his life choices because he's getting dating advice from a unicorn and an alicorn princess.

"Did Goku win?" Twilight asked.

"He won, unsurprisingly." Gohan said.

"Congratulations, Goku!" Twilight said, poking her hoof at the necklace.

'Stop it! You're shaking this void of a place! Ah!' Goku said.

"He wants you to stop, the place is shaking for him." Gohan said.

"Sorry." Twilight said.

"...Can you at least give me a hint?" Gohan asked.

As you can guess, Twilight did not give him a hint.

So he left the castle in defeat and excitement.

Twilight promised it would be huge.

So...

Anyway.

Gohan approached his shared home to see-

"What the...!?" He asked.

Goten and the Cutie Mark Crusaders...

Well, in short, the CMC were trying to hit Goten with the enchanted and heavy sword.

So the three of them kept throwing the sword at Goten, who kept dodging.

They were having fun, as if playing fucking tag with it.

Well, Gohan couldn't obviously see it that way after this.

The trio weakly threw the sword at Goten with their hooves while laughing.

Goten punched the sword playfully back at the trio.

...But then realized how much of a grave mistake that was.

And so did our innocent, powerless trio that stood completely still because they're petrified.

The sword was pretty much spinning back at them.

Gohan instantly appeared to the side of the sword and uppercutted it.

It spun upwards as it flew upwards.

He then flew behind it to grab it.

"What are you doing!?" He yelled.

"Uh..." Was all the four could say.

Gohan flew down to the ground.

"You could've gotten seriously hurt!" He said.

"I-I'm sorry..." Goten said, looking down at the ground.

"Why did you even use my sword? Why were you throwing it around, you could've cut yourselves!" Gohan said.

"We're sorry." The trio said, looking sad.

Gohan felt like a parent here, scolding children.

"It's fine, please don't do it again..." He said.

'Tell him that his dad won the tournament!' Goku said.

'Not now.' Gohan said.

"Hey, can we use it tomorrow?" Goten asked.

"Wha- No!" Gohan said.

"It's fun! We'll just use the... What's that again?" Scootaloo asked.

"The holder?" Applebloom asked.

"The sheath." Sweetie Belle said.

"Right, the sheath!" Scootaloo said.

Gohan sighed.

"I promise that we won't throw it around like that, they'll just try to slash at me like they did before!" Goten said, as if that was completely normal.

'I really wish Piccolo was here for this...' Gohan thought.

"Goten, we're going to Princess Celestia's birthday party tomorrow, so you won't be able to play with them..." Gohan said.

"We're comin'!" Applebloom said.

"We're plus ones again!" Sweetie Belle said.

Oh god, nonononononono-

"We're plus ones~! We're plus ones~!"

Damn it.

Gohan couldn't help but smile at that.

"Ooh! Let me try! We're plus ones~!" Goten sang.

'Is he even a plus one...?' Gohan thought to himself.

'Where's my plus one, come on!' Goku joked.

Gohan chuckled.

"You can bring the sword, just don't play with it in a public place." He said.

"YAY!" The four said, giggling and chatting afterwards.

'Wow! I don't remember having that much fun as a kid. Wait, I know Chi Chi and I had a really fun date... We fought the entire time! It was awesome!' Goku said.

'...I heard you tried to punch her and you put a huge hole in a tree.' Gohan said.

'Eh. She liked it, so it's good.' Goku said.

"All right, y'all. I'm heading home! I think AJ's gonna get all excited again." Applebloom said.

"You're telling me, my sister does all the dresses." Sweetie Belle said.

"Rainbow Dash doesn't do that, she's too cool for that!" Scootaloo said.

"Don't you live with your aunt?" Applebloom asked.

"Well, I'm staying at Rainbow Dash's." Scootaloo said.

"Ohh." Everyone but Gohan said.

"Okay, bye!" Goten said.

And with that, our trio walked away.

...

"So..." Gohan said.

"Yeah?" Goten asked.

"I grew a little bit." Gohan said.

"Really!? I haven't been able to grow at all!" Goten said.

"Same here, until today." Gohan said.

'Come on, tell him already!' Goku said.

"Oh, dad won the tournament, Goten." Gohan said.

"Really? Cool! Dad, you're so cool!" Goten said.

'I'm not just cool, I'm really strong, too!' Goku said.

Goten didn't hear that.

"Now I feel bad for playing with them instead of going with you." He said.

"It's all right, Sunset wanted it to be just us, anyway." Gohan said.

"Oh, okay! I know how you're a pushover when it comes to that, so it's good!" Goten said.

"What?" Gohan asked.

"Oh, right, Nevermind." He said.

He IS pretty much a pushover.

At least Sunset isn't making him do some-

Let's not get into that.

"Anyway, we should prepare for tomorrow. It's going to be a great day!" Gohan said.

...

Beerus is coming for that Super Saiyan God.

"Okay! But first, you're forgetting something!" Goten said.

"What?" Gohan asked.

...

Goten threw a punch at Gohan's chest!

Knocking him back a few feet.

"Ow! So you wanna train again!?" Gohan asked.

"Fighting is so much fun!" Goten said, turning Super Saiyan.

...

Gohan dropped his sword.

"All right." He said, cracking his neck.

"Let's go!" He said.

"Are you sure this is gonna work, Twilight?" Spike asked.

They were in the library.

"Don't judge me, I know what I'm doing!" Twilight said.

"If my calculations are correct, this potted plant's power level is a mere 0.00092!" She said.

"...And WHY did we need to do that math?" Spike asked.

"This!" Twilight said, using her magic to choke the life out of the plant.

Spike jumped back in surprise.

"What the heck!? Twilight, I think this studying got to you!" Spike said.

The plant turned into a tiny black shrub.

It's dead.

Why did Twilight kill it...?
