Season 4 was just great.

Starting with the Power Ponies.

The Mane 6, Spike and Gohan were all sucked into the comic book!

Spike woke up, in an outfit, surprisingly.

He was atop a building, in Maretropolis!

It was also nighttime, and it was not a full moon.

The ponies were walking all over the streets, the businesses were as busy as ever, and oddly enough, this is a fictional world in a fictional world.

Brain hurt yet?

"Somepony want to tell me what the hay is going on?" Applejack asked.

"Me too! Why do I have these clothes?" Gohan asked.

Spike turned around to see the changed Mane 6 and Gohan!

Twilight was the Masked Matter-Horn!

Pinkie Pie was Fili-Second!

Rainbow Dash was Zapp!

Rarity was Radiance!

Applejack was Mistress Mare-velous!

Fluttershy was Saddle Rager!

Gohan was... He was Kid Goku. He even had the Power Pole on his back, and a tail. But his hairstyle did not change.

Spike named everyone except Gohan.

"Uh... What even changed about you?" Spike asked.

"I don't have my weighted clothes, I have kung fu shoes, my tail, and for some reason, my dad's Power Pole." Gohan said, wiggling his tail.

The Mane 6 all snickered.

"T-The Power Pole? What's it do?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"If I tell it to extend, it extends very far. Watch. Power Pole extend!" Gohan exclaimed.

The Power Pole extended all the way to the moon.

Now the Mane 6 burst out in laughter.

"What's so funny?" Gohan asked, oblivious to what the Power Pole could be.

"I-Its nothing... Hahahah!" Rainbow Dash said.

Gohan told the Power Pole to retract.

"Alright, so what's going on here?" Gohan asked.

"You six are the Power Ponies!" Spike exclaimed.

Suddenly, an explosion could be heard.

Everyone looked from atop the building to see another building be exploded.

From it, emerged many giant green hairs.

Then there was a very dark blue pony.

"Power Ponies!" She said before cackling. "How kind of you to join us!" She added, holding an orb in her hands.

The Mane 6 all looked at each other with confused looks.

This blue pony was the Mane-iac!

She cackled madly.

"Did she just call us the Power Ponies?" Applejack asked.

"Y-You're the superheroes from my comic book! It somehow zapped us all in here!" Spike said.

"Then somepony find a way out!" Rainbow Dash said.

"My comic book... It said to get back where we started we have to defeat the Mane-iac!" Spike said.

"So why don't we just have Gohan do it?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Why don't YOU guys with your newfound powers give it a shot?" Gohan retorted, pointing a finger at each of the Mane 6.

"Time for the MANE event!" The Mane-iac said, using her very elongated mane to grab a pretzel stand and throw it at the eight.

She missed, but startled the ponies.

She then grabbed a mailbox and threw it at Pinkie Pie.

It seemingly crushed her!

"Pinkie! Where'd she go!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"WHEEE!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, running super fast all over the buildings of Maretropolis.

"She could be miles away from here by now! She's Fili-Second! Fastest pony in all of Maretropolis!" Spike explained.

Applejack used her new lasso in an attempt to wrangle Mane-iac, but instead traps it around a lamppost.

She tried pulling it back, but got pulled towards the lamppost and suddenly trapped herself.

Applejack tried in vain to get out.

The Mane-iac cackled in response.

"Twilight! Freeze her mane!" Spike exclaimed.

"Do what?" Twilight asked.

"You're the Masked Matter-Horn! You can shoot all kinds of crazy things with your horn!" Spike exclaimed.

Twilight tried to blast ice, but it only created a tiny snowflake. Which melted.

"You know, I'm beginning to enjoy this!" Mane-iac exclaimed, cackling.

The Power Ponies gasped as a fire hydrant was being sent their way.

"Dash! Quick! You're Zapp, you can control the mighty forces of nature!" Spike exclaimed.

"Unholster the lightning bolt!" Spike exclaimed.

Rainbow Dash flew up and away, and held her lightning necklace up towards the sky!

The clouds began to appear closer to Rainbow Dash, creating lightning.

It created a tornado on top of the building.

"LIGHTNING, NOT A TORNADO!" Spike exclaimed.

The remaining Power Ponies were sucked into the tornado. Even Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, who hilariously brought a tray of cupcakes.

The Mane-iac used her mane to seat herself.

"Fluttershy! You're Saddle Ranger! Lose your temper and become a super strong monster!" Spike exclaimed.

"Oh gosh! That wouldn't be very polite!" Fluttershy exclaimed.

"Rarity, use your diamonds to create an attack construct!" Spike said.

"What is an attack construct!?" Rarity asked.

"You can create anything! Your bracelet makes it appear!" Spike exclaimed.

Rarity pointed her hoof and created a teapot and cups.

Which were sequentially sent flying at Spike.

"SOMETHING USEFUL!" Spike exclaimed.

Spike was eventually flung at a wall.

Spike noticed what the Mane-iac held in her mane.

It was the Electro Orb!

"Well! This has been quite a MANE raising experience, but I really must be going!" Mane-iac said before laughing.

Spike attempted to steal the Electro Orb while she was distracted, but he tripped and made a loud noise.

The Mane-iac picked up the Electro Orb with her mane.

"Thank you, Hum Drum!" The Mane-iac yelled before taking off and cackling while she did.

Spike inspected his new outfit. "I'm Hum Drum...?" He asked.

The tornado sucked Spike back in again.

"Applejack! You need to stop the tornado from destroying the city!" Spike exclaimed.

"I would, but every time I move this lasso gets tighter!" Applejack exclaimed, and the lasso did get tighter.

"You're psychically connected to it! Use it to go wherever you want it to go! And it will obey you!" Spike exclaimed.

Applejack loosened the grip, releasing herself.

She used her psychic lasso to lasso the tornado shut, making it explode and disappear.

"That was fantastic!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

All who were sucked into the tornado landed gently.

Gohan flew down from the building and landed gently.

"Wow, that went great." He said sarcastically.

"Shut it, Gohan!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Let me get this straight, we've been sucked into some sort of comic book world?" Applejack asked.

"Technically, it's called Maretropolis. And if we want to get back to Ponyville, we have to stop the Mane-iac from using her doomsday device and destroy it!" Spike exclaimed.

During all that, Rainbow Dash attempted to strike Gohan with lightning, which he dodged comedically.

"No biggie. I was already awesome, and now we've got superpowers!" Rainbow Dash said.

Spike sighed. "Almost all of us have superpowers." He muttered.

"But you must have some sort of power, your character is wearing a cape!" Rarity said, lifting Spike's cape with a staff she constructed.

"Yeah, for absolutely no reason. He's pretty much useless." Spike said.

"Good thing you're not really Hum-Drum, then." Twilight reassured.

"Yeah, good thing!" Spike said.

Rainbow Dash stopped trying to zap Gohan with her lightning and landed on the ground.

"So the six of us Power Ponies will take care of Mane-iac and it will get us back to Ponyville!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Why don't we just have Gohan trail her? He's clearly a lot stronger than all of us combined. He wasn't fazed by a tornado!" Twilight said.

"Why don't the superheroes take the Mane-iac on? Clearly she's your arch nemesis." Gohan said.

"Yeah, plus it's more AWESOME that way!" Rainbow Dash said.

"So, Spike. Where is the Mane-iac building her doomsday device?" Twilight asked.

"Her top secret headquarters! But you better get there quick, the glowing orb she just stole is going to be used to power it up!" Spike said.

"Alright, but Gohan's helping no matter what!" Rarity said.

"Alright." Gohan said.

"Lead the way, Spike!" Applejack said.

"Then leave the rest to us!" Rainbow Dash said.

Spike still didn't feel good being a powerless sidekick.

The Power Ponies and the two others arrived at Mane-iac's Shampoo Factory.

"Alright Power Ponies, here's the plan. Rarity, you-" "COME ON OUT MANE-IAC!" Rainbow Dash interrupted Twilight.

Rainbow Dash was in front of a sign with a pony cleaning her hair.

"Or the Power Ponies are coming in!" Rainbow Dash yelled.

She then summoned lightning to destroy the sign.

"So much for element of surprise." Twilight said.

The Power Ponies trotted towards the entrance of the building.

Spike seemed insecure, and Gohan noticed.

"Spike, is something wrong?" He asked.

"I don't want to be the sidekick, I want to be a hero!" Spike exclaimed.

"All heroes need a sidekick. If not, they'll be doomed without them!" Gohan reassured.

"Yeah, right." Spike said, walking towards the building with the Power Ponies.

Gohan followed.

Rainbow Dash was still zapping the sign.

"Maybe nobody's home. We'll just come back later." Fluttershy said.

Then cackling could be heard.

"She's home." Rarity said.

The building opened with a horde of stallions ready to fight.

"Time to Power Pony-" Applejack said before Gohan sequentially blasted them all with a shockwave from his palm, knocking them out.

"Oh come on! Let us use our powers for ONCE!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Sorry! Sorry! I just acted on instinct, I'll let you guys handle the next ones!" Gohan said.

"Well, that makes it easier, I guess. Alright Power Ponies, let's take care of the Mane-iac!" Twilight said.

The Mane-iac suddenly appeared.

"I don't know about that! I have a city to destroy! And I'm not about to let the Power Ponies stop me! NOT THIS TIME!" The Mane-iac exclaimed.

"Just you watch!" Rainbow Dash said, charging at the Mane-iac.

The Mane-iac pulled out a giant hair spray can.

"The hair spray ray of doom! It stops you in your tracks and renders your powers useless!" Spike exclaimed.

The Mane-iac sprayed the incoming Rainbow Dash, completely stopping her.

She even landed without moving an inch.

"We'll just see about that!" Rarity said.

Rarity, Applejack, Twilight and Pinkie Pie all charged at the Mane-iac.

Twilight shot a freeze blast, but to no avail.

The Mane-iac sprayed the four of them, stopping them.

Fluttershy hid behind a mailbox, while Spike was actually inside it.

The Mane-iac sprayed her and took her with her mutated mane.

"D-Don't spray me!" Spike said.

The Mane-iac cackled. "Oh when would I ever use the hair spray of of doom on you, Hum Drum?" She asked.

More of the Mane-iac's henchmen appeared and attempted to drag the Power Ponies inside the facility.

Until Gohan stepped in.

He blasted them all with ki blasts, knocking them out.

"Alright, that's enough!" Gohan shouted.

"And what's monkey going to do about it!?" The Mane-iac shouted, spraying Gohan with the spray.

She cackled.

Gohan had a ki barrier around him so he wouldn't be affected by it.

"And what was that supposed to do?" He asked.

The Mane-iac was shocked as the spray didn't work.

Gohan immediately kicked the Mane-iac square in the face.

"Impossible! You shouldn't posses such power!" The Mane-iac screamed.

Then, Gohan had a great idea to boost Spike.

"Spike, I need your help on this one!" Gohan shouted.

"What?" Spike asked.

"I need you to help me defeat the Mane-iac!" He shouted.

"What is it?" Spike asked, rushing to Gohan's side.

"You may not know, Mane-iac, but Hum Drum has super strength!" Gohan exclaimed.

Spike was confused himself.

"What!? He does not!" The Mane-iac shouted.

"Oh yeah?" Gohan asked.

Gohan put his hand on Spike's back, and gave him a HUGE cup of temporary ki.

Spike was shocked as to the immense energy he felt! He actually felt like a superhero!

"Why doesn't he hit you himself?" Gohan asked.

"Oh yes, please hit me! I'm wide open!" The Mane-iac said, cackling.

Spike ran up to her, jumped and punched her square in the chest.

The Mane-iac was pushed back, actually.

"W-What!? Impossible! How could he attain such strength!?" The Mane-iac asked.

Gohan was fast enough to put Spike behind the Mane-iac's head, on her back, and put himself in front of her.

"ATTACK!" He yelled, throwing barrages of punches and kicks at the Mane-iac.

Spike's punches and kicks ACTUALLY did damage, and prevented the Mane-iac from potentially escaping the duo's combination!

Still, the attacks were mediocre, but they did something.

The ground began to rise from the sheer power of the attacks.

"Spike! Grab on to her back!" Gohan yelled.

Spike stopped his assault and hung on to her back.

Gohan grabbed the Mane-iac by her chest, and flew up with the other two.

He then began to fall back down to the ground with the Mane-iac, spinning while they did so.

Spike became dead weight in order to increase the damage dealt.

As the Mane-iac's head was smashed into the street, she was able to stay on the ground.

She stood up, but couldn't even move properly.

Gohan put Spike on his back.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Ready!" Spike exclaimed.

Gohan immediately went up to the Mane-iac's stomach and began to pummel her at blinding speeds.

He finished with a heavy roundhouse axe kick which smashed the Mane-iac away while smashing the ground too.

He jumped up and unleashed a Kamehameha wave on her!

"TOGETHER!" He screamed.

"HA!" Gohan and Spike yelled, with Gohan blasting the Mane-iac and her mane to oblivion.

"NOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo......." The Mane-iac screamed as she died.

Spike's power boost wore off.

"That... Was... SO COOL!" Spike exclaimed.

Gohan chuckled. "I take it that you liked being the hero for once?" He asked.

"I was still the sidekick, but you gave me all those powers, and I was able to beat her up with you! That was so awesome!" Spike exclaimed.

"Hold on, one more thing." Gohan said.

Gohan destroyed the building with a powerful blast.

"The day has been saved by-" Spike said, before he, Gohan and the Power Ponies were sucked into the sky.

The Mane 6, Spike and Gohan no longer had their new features.

Gohan even lost his tail!

(Don't worry, It'll be back.)

The Mane 6 were able to move again.

"That was awesome! Gohan and Spike, they were like 'bamabamabam!' And the Mane-iac lost like 'NOOOOOOOO'" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"Well, I couldn't have stoped Mane-iac without him. He did keep her from escaping." Gohan said, looking down at Spike.

Spike chuckled. "Yeah, I felt like I had superpowers!" He said.

And then Rainbow Dash received training from Gohan.

"Come on, I really want to become faster than you!" Rainbow Dash begged.

The two were at Gohan's shack.

"But you're requesting the EXACT same training I had originally received, and that's WAY too harsh. I'll tone it down for you, because you won't be able to survive." Gohan said.

"Whatever! I'll take what I can get!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"Just no fighting me AT ALL. Not again!" Gohan said.

"Aw... Really? I really wanted to test my skills after a while!" Rainbow Dash whined.

"You got put in the hospital afterwards! Unless I sense extreme power brimming from you, you cannot battle me." Gohan said.

"Ugh. Fine. Just tell me what I have to do." Rainbow Dash said.

"For now, exercise. I will need to study on martial arts for ponies. However, we sill still endure rigorous training." Gohan stated firmly.

"Alright, I'm game!" Rainbow Dash said.

Gohan had Rainbow Dash pick up her saddlebags.

"So, any particular reason why we need these?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yep. We will amp things up as time passes, but for now these will be your weights." Gohan said, putting a few moderate sized rocks in her saddlebags.

It did make her sweat, but she could walk normally and do everything she normally could.

It was just twice as hard.

"A-Alright, I think I can handle it." She said.

"So today will be just a warmup. We're going to do plenty of push-ups and running to boost the strength and speed of your hooves." Gohan explained.

"Okay, think I can handle that. Anything with these babies?" Rainbow Dash asked, fluttering her wings.

"Possibly. You may need them. But, if you do that on your own time, then keep doing that there." Gohan said.

So they did push-ups and running for about an hour before Rainbow Dash decided to call it a day.

"Alright, I'll look up pony martial arts for tomorrow." Gohan said.

"See you!" Rainbow Dash said, flying away.

"Okay, I gathered as much as I could from the library. Apparently nobody has used these in a very long time. Plenty of centuries have passed since ponies have mastered martial arts, mainly because of it's difficulty. It will be easier for you, because you're a pegasus." Gohan said.

"Alright, so what do I have to do?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"You need to stand only on your backhooves. Like I stand on my two feet." Gohan said.

"Um... That's really hard." Rainbow Dash said.

"Use your wings. It's a lot easier for you, since you can use your wings just the right amount to keep half your body in the air, yet not enough to lift your whole body." Gohan said.

"Well, that makes it easier!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Great. Your stance is perfect for evading low attacks, but we need to master movement. For now, we will power up every one of your hooves by running on all fours. When you master this stance, with or without your wings, we will power up your forehooves with plenty of push-ups, while powering up your backhooves with plenty of squats." Gohan said.

"Sounds good." Rainbow Dash said.

Gohan began to train Rainbow Dash in martial arts once she could master movement in her stance.

She could even jump!

But she wasn't able to keep her stance without her wings.

"For your first lesson, I will show you the common mistakes fighters make. Now, tell me what's wrong with this strike?" Gohan asked, swinging his fist with plenty of strength, but it was heavy so he took a lot more time before he could guard again.

"Uh... I don't see it." Rainbow Dash said.

"I punched the air with too much force. When I do that, I'm really open to attacks. So, you shouldn't swing at your opponents with full force at all times. Using your Sonic Rainboom is an example of what you really shouldn't do in a fight, despite how much damage it can do." Gohan said.

"Alright. So how do I show my awesome moves without getting jumped?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Swift, but not too forceful strikes are key. You need to attack, yet have the ability to guard, attack again or dodge as quickly as possible." Gohan said.

"For example, look at this." Gohan said.

Gohan punched the air, but instantly pulled his fist back.

He did it pretty slowly, but it was visible enough for Rainbow Dash to understand.

"I was able to react to any incoming attack in that interval because of how swift my attack was. However, you can't be too weak in delivering the attacks." Gohan said.

"When can I really dish out all of my strength?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"If your opponent happens to be huge, or incredibly slow, then that's a good start. However, against an enemy like an average pony, you have to somehow immobilize them, or strike when their own attacks create gaping openings." Gohan said.

"So... Unleash my full power when they're really open?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Not full power, but a good amount. Going full power would exhaust you much faster than you weakening the opponent with weaker strikes over time. It's all about patience." Gohan said.

They spent a long time on training, as Rainbow Dash had a lot to learn.

Discord did help Gohan train, hilariously.

"GIVE ME BACK MY FATHER'S GI!" Gohan shouted.

They were at Fluttershy's cottage, and Discord decided to change Gohan's attire.

It was Piccolo's attire.

"Discord, be nice and give Gohan his gi back." Fluttershy said.

"Oh, but doesn't it bring back so many memories, Gohan?" Discord asked, slithering around Gohan.

"Yes. Horrible, horrible memories." Gohan said, angrily.

"Why?" Fluttershy asked.

"The person who wore this threw me at a plateau for my first lesson! A freaking plateau!" Gohan said. "Give me back my gi!" He shouted.

Discord appeared extremely smaller on top of Gohan's shoulder.

"You're no fun." He said, reverting his gi back to it's original.

"If you're so good at changing clothes, can you make mine heavier?" Gohan asked as Discord flew off his shoulder and went back to his normal size.

"I suppose, how much heavier?" Discord asked.

"Make it ten." Gohan said.

"Over four thousand, huh?" Discord asked.

"D-Don't go overboard, Gohan!" Fluttershy exclaimed.

"Don't worry, I need to get a lot stronger. I've already handled 100x normal gravity." Gohan said.

"Consider it done." Discord said, snapping his fingers.

Gohan's gi was now 4300 kilos!

"Alright, thanks! That makes up for you changing my gi." Gohan sneered.

"Oh, that works out." Discord said.

Then Flutterbat did not last long.

"That isn't Fluttershy, that's Flutterbat!" Rarity exclaimed.

The Mane 6, Spike and Gohan were at Sweet Apple Acres.

Apparently, the fruit bats were consuming Applejack's apples during harvest season.

The fruit bats were relieved of their appetite for apples, but resulted in Fluttershy being a mutated bat herself. She feasted on the apples.

Nobody knew who devoured the apples.

She just transformed again, and now the truth was revealed.

Flutterbat attempted to fly away.

...But Gohan flew up and delivered a chop to her neck, knocking her out.

The tryouts for the Equestria Games had a little drama, but Ponyville pulled through in the end.

Gohan was selected to be part of Ponyville's relay team, much to his dismay.

Fluttershy was going to drag him over there no matter what! She was in front of his shack.

"Why did Rainbow Dash have to pick me!? Come on!" Gohan whined.

"Now Gohan, she wants you to join us since you're her instructor." Fluttershy said.

"Ugh. Do I really have to go?" Gohan whined.

"Yes. Wouldn't you please, please, PLEASE come?" Fluttershy asked with puppy dog eyes.

"....Alright, I'll come." Gohan said.

"Yay." Fluttershy said.

Now Gohan, Fluttershy, Angel and Rainbow Dash were in a secluded location just outside Ponyville.

"Alright pony and person! Listen up!" Rainbow Dash commanded.

"We're all ears. Right Gohan?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yes ma'am." Gohan said, straight at attention, with a smile.

"I don't like your attitude!" Rainbow Dash said.

Gohan gave Rainbow Dash a death stare.

"Uh... Nevermind. Anyway, it's going to take a lot to get us to the Equestria Games! We are the aerial relay team, and it's up to us to make sure we qualify at the tryouts. And do I need to remind you how much I- I mean, Ponyville wants to qualify and make it into the games?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I remember! I really, really want to qualify for you, and Ponyville." Fluttershy said.

"I want to qualify for everyone in Ponyville!" Gohan beamed.

"Give me an E for Ponyville!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, suddenly appeared in a cheerleaders outfit.

She pulled out a megaphone.

"YAAAAAY PONYVIIIIILE!" Pinkie Pie screamed, startling Fluttershy.

"E!" Gohan screamed, actually knocking Pinkie Pie away.

"Thanks Pinkie Pie! That was a scary- I mean, big cheer!" Fluttershy said.

"Just make sure you have what it takes when we QUALIFY for the aerial relay." Rainbow Dash said.

"With a gold medal, I presume?" Gohan asked.

"Not so fast!" Applejack said, pulling a cart.

"You're gonna be good? You're gonna be better with my Apple Brown Bettys in ya!" Applejack said.

"They're perfect!" Applejack said.

Gohan rushed to the cart. "Can I have one!?" He asked, holding up a finger.

"Yes you can! Come on Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash!" Applejack said.

Gohan wolfed one down in an instant.

Then Pinkie Pie appeared inside the cart, shouting: "P IS PERFECT!"

Applejack and Fluttershy were snacking on one as well, while Rainbow Dash facehoofed.

"Alright team!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

This put Gohan and Fluttershy at attention.

"Show me what ya got!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Put some bend into those knees!" Rainbow Dash commanded.

Fluttershy and Gohan bent their knees.

"Flap those wings!" Rainbow Dash commanded.

Fluttershy flapped her wings.

"And I want to see all four hooves off the ground on the count of three! ........ONETWOTHREE!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

Fluttershy and Gohan hovered over the ground.

"Alright!" Rainbow Dash said.

Now the Mane 6, Spike and Gohan were on a train to Rainbow Falls.

"It was nice of you to be part of the team without the strongest flyers." Twilight said.

"Nothing nice about it! I can pick up the slack for anypony. Put me on the team, and we'll qualify. I'm sure of it." Rainbow Dash bragged.

"Ponyville's lucky to have you. And Gohan." Twilight said.

"Yeah, I'm awesome." Rainbow Dash said.

"I am so proud to representing Ponyville. It's such an honor to even try out for the games! I just hope I don't let anypony down." Fluttershy said.

"Don't worry. You're a good flyer, especially after the training I put you through." Gohan said, referring to the group tornado.

"You'll make everyone proud." He added.

"P IS FOR PROUD!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"WE'RE GOING TO BE THE BEST STAND THAT ANYPONY HAS EVER SEEN!" Pinkie Pie shouted.

"I can't wait to see what everypony else is wearing. Even though I'm sure they WON'T be better than the Ponyville uniform for the Equestria Games..." Rarity said.

"I'm not wearing it, am I?" Gohan asked.

"Oh heavens, no. It will take me extra weeks to figure that out." Rarity said.

"Alright, good." Gohan said.

"And we WILL make it to the games after everyone snacks on my Apple Brown Bettys!" Applejack said, holding out an Apple Brown Betty.

Gohan wolfed it down immediately, causing everyone else to laugh.

"I CAN'T WAIT!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

They were finally at Rainbow Falls, where there were waterfalls of rainbows.

The team, along with Ponyville's spectators were walking by the training area.

Rainbow Dash received some attention.

"That's Rainbow Dash! She's an awesome flyer!" A stallion pointed out.

"I heard she's flying the second third of the relay!" A mare said.

As Gohan set up the Ponyville station, the Wonderbolts flew overhead.

"The Wonderbolts!" A stallion pointed out.

"I hear they're flying for Cloudsdale!" A mare said.

"Then Cloudsdale will definitely qualify. They're the best flyers EVER!" A mare said.

The Wonderbolts landed beside the Ponyville team.

"And the game is on!" Spitfire said.

"Huh, nice to see there's some real competition here!" Soarin said, moving his goggles away from his eyes to reveal his green eyes.

"Two more days of practice, and we'll see you in the air, Rainbow Dash!" Fleetfoot said.

"If you're lucky." She added.

"Oh, we are. We have me, and Gohan." Rainbow Dash bragged, pointing her hoof at Gohan, who was doing one arm push-ups for lack of training today.

"That's the same kid who spectated at the academy, right?" Spitfire asked.

"Yep!" Rainbow Dash said, then inching towards Spitfire's ear.

"Between you and me, he's wearing 4300 kilos, and he's still faster than me." Rainbow Dash whispered.

"I told you not to tell anyone!" Gohan exclaimed, much to Rainbow Dash's surprise.

"Wow, seems like you have quite the team!" Spitefire said.

"See you later." She added, and the Wonderbolts trotted away.

Twilight trotted up to beside Rainbow Dash.

"The Wonderbolts know a winner when they see one. And we'll be winners as soon as we practice!" Rainbow Dash bragged.

"Right team!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Right." Fluttershy said.

"Already on it!" Gohan said, continuing to count. He was on 760.

"HOORAY!" Pinkie Pie yelled, blowing into a party favor.

"And, um... I'm with her! Hooray!" Twilight said.

Then, there were the cheerleaders for Cloudsdale.

Pinkie Pie gasped. "WHERE CAN I GET POM POMS LIKE THOSES!?" She asked.

"So, do I need to remind you what our goal is here?" Rainbow Dash asked, flying.

"To win the Equestria Games?" Gohan asked.

"That, and we WANT to qualify! We need to be one of the four teams to cross the finish line." Rainbow Dash said.

"B-But what if one of us are injured?" Fluttershy asked.

"I came prepared! Senzu beans! Got 8 right here." Gohan said, patting his little baggie.

"Alright, Fluttershy, you're up first! Let me see you flap!" Rainbow Dash said.

Fluttershy flew in the air, and began to pick up speed.

Until Applejack tossed an Apple Brown Betty at her.

"Sorry! Got the idea from them!" Applejack said, pointing a hoof at the Cloudsdale chefs.

They were using contraptions to toss their foods into the air for the Wonderbolts. And they did a fine job.

"It looks like they got better aim." Applejack said.

"...Okay, anyway! The passing of the baton needs to be as quick as possible! You shouldn't miss a wingbeat, or drop a hair in attitude! And whatever you do, don't let go of it!" Rainbow Dash said, putting the horseshoe baton on Fluttershy's hoof.

"10,000! Alright, now..." Gohan said, flying up to Fluttershy.

"Are you sure you can take it? I want to be really, really sure that you're ready." Fluttershy said.

"Yes." Gohan said.

Fluttershy held her hoof out, and Gohan grabbed the horseshoe.

"Alright, seems good enough. Hey, Rainbow, think fast!" Gohan said, lightly tossing the horseshoe to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash caught it. "Was that a joke?" She asked.

"It was your reflexes." Gohan said.

"Watch, the Wonderbolts are the best flyers there are!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"And my personal heroes." Rainbow Dash said.

"SO! Maybe you can learn something!" Rainbow Dash said.

"My personal hero is my dad." Gohan said.

Now they looked upwards at the flyer, Soarin.

"Come on, Soarin! Pick up the pace! You can do better than that!" Fleetfoot exclaimed.

"Sure hope so." Spitfire said, who was getting a hoof massage.

Soarin got a little too ahead of himself, and hit his wing on a hoop!

He was about to crash land at high speeds, he'd certainly die!

Rainbow Dash came to the rescue, carrying him on her back.

"Gotcha!" She said.

They landed, and Soarin's wing was really busted.

Everyone cheered for Rainbow Dash.

"That was awesome!" Fleetfoot said.

"As good as any Wonderbolt." Spitfire said.

"Oh, Rainbow Dash, I'm so proud of you! You scooped Soarin out of the sky, and brought him down to the ground! Now, now he's okay. At least, I hope he's okay. Are you okay?" Fluttershy asked.

"Ah, well my wing hurts!" Soarin said.

The other two Wonderbolts were not happy to hear this.

"But I'm sure it'll be okay by the competition." Soarin said.

But, the paramedics came, taking Soarin.

"You're the best, Rainbow Dash." Soarin said.

"Aw, it was nothing." Rainbow Dash said.

"But if you want to keep talking about how great I am, don't let me stop you!" She added as the paramedics took Soarin away.

"Tough break that they took a teammate before the tryouts." Rainbow Dash said.

Spitfire and Fleetfoot looked at each other, and got the same idea.

"You know..." Fleetfoot said, putting her sunglasses on. "You grew up in Cloudsdale." She added.

"So that means you can fly with us." Spitfire said.

"Fly?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Gohan heard it all. 'Oh come on, Rainbow. Don't do it.' He thought.

"We mean practice. You can practice with us until Soarin's better." Fleetfoot said.

"What'dya say? Want to be our third?" Spitfire asked.

"Uh... I don't know. My team will need the to be our best in order to qualify." Rainbow Dash said.

"Don't want to be too worn out by the time the race comes around." She added.

"We put you through plenty of intense workouts at the Wonderbolts Academy, and you went through those just fine." Spitfire said.

"I did kick some major tail at the academy. But I don't know how my team will feel if I practice with the competition." Rainbow Dash said.

"Who says they need to know?" Fleetfoot asked. She grabbed Rainbow Dash's face. "Think about it, Rainbow Dash. This is your chance to fly with the winners." She added.

Rainbow Dash looked back at Gohan and Fluttershy.

Gohan was doing sit-ups while Fluttershy was cheering him on.

"...Alright, I'll do it." Rainbow Dash said.

'Come on, Rainbow!' Gohan thought as he did sit-ups.

"Wise decision, Rainbow Dash." Spitfire said.

Rainbow Dash practiced with the Wonderbolts more than she did with her own team.

Despite Gohan's excellence, Fluttershy was almost a lost cause.

She couldn't do her wing-ups.

But, Gohan was helping her.

"You keep doing your wing-ups, I'm going to get some water." Rainbow Dash said, flying away.

That was only one instance of her backing out.

Then, when eating for break, she even went off without eating a single Apple Brown Betty, while Gohan was devouring them all.

Rainbow Dash went to fly with the Wonderbolts again.

She got her hooves shined, she even got a uniform!

...While Gohan and Fluttershy were playing dress up with Rarity.

Gohan was actually having fun dressing as a princess, or so he called it.

Don't get the wrong idea, he's not becoming that.

Rainbow Dash took a break from practice, and went to drink some water from the lake.

"Rainbow Dash, why are you flying with the Wonderbolts?" Gohan asked.

Rainbow Dash spit her water out.

"Y-You know?" She asked.

"I know? I heard it myself!" Gohan said.

"Does anypony else know?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"No, that'd upset Fluttershy." Gohan said.

"If you see me and the other teams practicing, we're still gonna qualify." Rainbow Dash said.

"I can fly fast enough to make up the difference." She added.

"Yes, but Fluttershy needs help practicing, and I'm no wing expert!" Gohan said.

"But it's so much fun to fly with the winners than the... Well, non winners." Rainbow Dash said.

"We're not winners to you?" Gohan asked, a little hurt.

"N-No, forget I said that. Ponyville will still qualify." Rainbow Dash said.

Spitfire and Fleetfoot landed nearby.

"Rainbow Dash, you got a minute?" Spitfire asked.

'Oh no.' Gohan thought.

"Uh, sure." Rainbow Dash said, flying away.

"You're really an asset to the team, so... We want you to join the Cloudsdale team. Permanently." Fleetfoot said.

Rainbow Dash gasped in excitement.

"It looks like Soarin's wing won't heal for the tryouts, and we want you to fly with us." Spitfire said, wrapping a hoof around Rainbow Dash said.

"This does mean you can't fly for Ponyville. But let's face it, with a wingless monkey and her around, your chances of entering the game are pretty slim." Fleetfoot said.

The three watched as Fluttershy flew through the hoops rather slowly.

"So, what'll it be?" Spitfire asked.

"Well... I, uh..." Rainbow Dash stuttered.

"Take some time to think about it." Spitfire said, flying away with Fleetfoot.

Rainbow Dash flew circles around Gohan.

"They want ME to fly with THEM! It's like a dream come true!" Rainbow Dash said as she laid down.

"So, you'll fly for Cloudsdale? Leaving behind the team?" Gohan asked.

"But I really want to fly with the BEST team! What would you do if someone like THEM offered you a spot on their team?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Considering you're a fan, I'd still say no! Ugh, if you want to go join them, fine. We won't enter." Gohan said, walking away.

"You better decide soon, the race is tomorrow." He added.

Now Rainbow Dash felt bad.

Would she really abandon her friends and their work just to be with another team?

"Oh, OH WOE IS ME!" Rainbow Dash cried.

She rolled up to the training field with so many bandages, and in a wheechair!

"What happened!?" Fluttershy asked.

Gohan facepalmed.

"Oh, I've hurt my hoof!" Rainbow Dash said.

'What about the other places, huh!?' Gohan thought.

Everyone else gasped.

Spitfire inspected Rainbow Dash.

"All hooves?" Spitfire asked.

"Let's get her to the hospital, NOW!" Gohan shouted.

He still knew Rainbow Dash was bluffing.

Now Rainbow Dash was in a hospital bed, and couldn't move her hooves or wings.

Or, she just didn't.

All but one friend left Rainbow Dash after a visit.

Gohan.

"Come on, why did you fake it?" Gohan whispered.

"I couldn't decide!" Rainbow Dash whispered.

Just then, a curtain next to Rainbow Dash opened.

"You sure have nice friends. Nobody visits me." Soarin said.

"They're too busy practicing, I guess." Soarin said.

"Well, hopefully your wing will be better soon." Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh, it's fine. I'm just keeping it warm in case my team wants me back." Soarin said.

"What do you mean, wants you back? Spitfire and Fleetfoot told me you were too injured to fly." Rainbow Dash said.

"And they told me that they worried that I wouldn't be at 100% during the tryouts! So they were going with somepony else." Soarin said.

"I think we pieced it together." Gohan said.

"Yeah, that somepony else was me!" Rainbow Dash said.

"W-Well, until I got hurt, that is." Rainbow Dash corrected.

"Well, I guess we're both out of luck. Cloudsdale won't qualify without three flyers, and Ponyville won't qualify without you!" Soarin said.

"Too bad..." Soarin said.

Rainbow Dash inspected a dropped flag on the floor.

She knew what she had to do now.

"Gohan, senzu bean." Rainbow Dash said.

"Senzu bean?" Gohan asked.

"Senzu bean." Rainbow Dash said.

"Senzu bean!" Gohan shouted, seemingly throwing a senzu bean with all his might!

...But actually lightly tossing it.

Rainbow Dash unbandaged herself.

"Whoa, you're okay!" Soarin said.

"Take one too, you'll be 100% with this." Gohan said, tossing a senzu bean to Soarin.

The three were walking to the training field.

Rainbow Dash and Soarin had no bandages.

"Is that Rainbow Dash... Walking?" Twilight asked.

Spitfire and Fleetfoot noticed Rainbow Dash, with Soarin too.

"Does this mean you're feeling better?" Fleetfoot asked.

"I feel great, because of a senzu bean." Rainbow Dash said with a smirk.

"Senzu bean!" Gohan yelled, throwing a senzu bean at Rainbow Dash, who tossed it back.

"But now I know if I'll be flying with Ponyville or Cloudsdale." Rainbow Dash said.

"I know now who I should have been loyal to." She added.

"Good choice, Rainbow Dash. Always stick with the winners." Spitfire said.

"Ponyville." Rainbow Dash said, much to Spitfire and Fleetfoot's shock.

"Because it's not just where I live, but it's where my friends are. The ponies and person who care about me." Rainbow Dash said.

The Ponyville team cheered.

"...Are you sure about that?" Spitfire asked.

"You lied to me about Soarin's wing just so you could get a better flyer!" Rainbow Dash said, pointing at Soarin, who was also displeased.

"And how dare you call Gohan, who's saved your flank on numerous occasions, a wingless monkey!?" She yelled.

"SHE DID WHAT!?" Pinkie Pie asked.

Pinkie Pie was charging at Spitfire, but Gohan intervened and put her in a full nelson.

"I'M GONNA RIP HER TO SHREDS AND EVI-" "Calm down!" Gohan interrupted.

"You may be a winning team, but you're still not the kind of team I want to be a part of." Rainbow Dash said.

"...Huh. Rainbow Dash. You are something. Saw you at the academy, see you again here. We can learn a lot from a competitor like you." Spitfire said.

"Think we already have." Fleetfoot said.

The Wonderbolts on the Cloudsdale team just won a spot at the Equestria Games!

Now it was Ponyville's turn to try out.

"Gohan, go Super Saiyan, and full speed for this one!" Rainbow Dash whispered.

"Alright." Gohan said, turning Super Saiyan.

The ponies were amazed by Gohan's ability.

Now, they were flying.

Fluttershy made it through the hoops, nice and steady.

Only ten seconds later, Rainbow Dash took the horseshoe, and flew SUPER fast at Gohan.

There was thirty five seconds left.

"LET'S GO FLUTTERSHY AND RAINBOW DASH!" Pinkie Pie and Twilight screamed.

Rainbow Dash passed the horseshoe to Gohan.

Thirty seconds left.

Gohan darted at full speed, going through the rings and sequentially flying through the goal.

His yellow aura made it even cooler to watch.

The timer stopped.

"17 seconds! A new record! Ponyville qualifies!" The coach said.

Gohan stopped in mid-air.

Even the Wonderbolts couldn't help but look at Gohan's aura.

"What is he!?" Spitfire yelled.

Gohan grinned, and powered up, making his aura larger.

"I AM A SUPER SANDWICH!" He screamed, before reverting back to base form.

Everyone cheered that Ponyville made it in.

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy gave Gohan a big hug for winning.

With a new record, too!

Equestria Games, here they came!

The Rainbow Falls Traders Exchange went perfectly.

The Mane 6, Spike and Gohan all had things to exchange with!

Well, Gohan only had senzu beans and some weighted clothes.

...That were too heavy. So he didn't bring much to trade for.

"I am just so pumped for the exchange!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Why?" Gohan asked with a smile.

"Well, I can trade something for ANYTHING super cool!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Like what, some first edition Daring Do book or something?" Gohan asked.

"Actually, yes! There's a pony with a sign that says she has the first edition of Daring Do, EVER!" Rainbow Dash said, before squealing.

"I... I have no words." Gohan said.

"I have all the first editions of the Daring Do books except this one! I'm going to complete the collection!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Well... I hope you do!" Gohan said.

"Well... I hope it hasn't been traded yet. It's the only one in all of Equestria!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh no! I really hate to see you disappointed..." Fluttershy said.

She pulled a bear call out of her wing.

"I was going to trade this bear call for a bird whistle, but getting that book is so important to you. So if you need any help..." Fluttershy said.

"Normally I'd say I don't need any help, but you're right! This is very important! I've gotta get that book!" Rainbow Dash said, taking off with Fluttershy.

"I have never seen anyone else as kind as her, heh." Gohan said.

"Well, I'm off to take a gander at some of the vintage stalls." Applejack said, trotting away with a sack on her back.

"Did you say vintage?" Rarity asked before taking her saddlebag and following Applejack.

"Well... Now there's the three of us." Gohan said.

"I have to get rid of some these books. Ever since I became a princess, Princess Celestia has been sending me tons more books to read! The library's overflowing!" Twilight said, setting up her stand.

"Alright..." Gohan said.

"I'm staying here!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Well, I'm going to see if anyone wants a too heavy wristband." Gohan said, walking away.

"Have fun!" Twilight said.

Gohan was walking around for what felt like HOURS.

He couldn't find anything interesting!

Books, flowers, lamps, Daring Do stuff, Greek mythology pets, crystal chalices, nothing!

He was just about ready to walk back to Twilight's stand before he saw something interesting.

Or, somewhat interesting, at least.

A rice cooker!

The mare who ran the stand, with a purple mane and yellow coat, didn't have much either.

"Hello, ma'am?" Gohan asked.

"Would you happen to want this dumb old rice cooker?" The mare asked in a depressing tone.

"Yes." Gohan said.

The mare was surprised, then had a happy face.

"What do you have?" She asked.

"Wristbands weighing 150 kilos, shirts weighing 1000 kilos, and boots weighing 1500 kilos." Gohan said.

"Uh.... Hm... I'd trade you for... If you happen to have something else..." She said.

"Magical beans that can restore your stamina, get rid of ailments and wounds?" Gohan asked, dropping a pouch on the table.

"And how do I know they're real?" She asked.

Gohan sighed.

He broke his own arm, again!

"H-Hang on, I didn't-" She said, before Gohan ate the bean.

His arm was restored.

"Any more proof?" Gohan asked.

"Nope! Take the rice cooker, it's yours!" She said, taking the bag of senzu beans.

Gohan now had a rice cooker!

A good trade indeed!

So he was now finished and began to walk back to Twilight's bookstand.

...Just after Pinkie Pie's reckless 'sale' ended.

"You got a rice cooker...?" Twilight asked.

"It's better than standing there having to mix the rice unless you want it sticking to the pot. Oh wait, I still have to do that." Gohan said.

The Equestria Games were just great, too.

Team Ponyville was on a train to the Equestria Games!

All sorts of ponies were training in their own respective ways.

Bulk Biceps and Gohan were weightlifting, while Gohan did practice movement at the same time.

Pegasi like Fluttershy were flying or doing wing-ups.

Spike was in charge of... Well, the checklist.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders were practicing their cheerleading.

"Listen up, gang, we're almost there, and I have a few things to say." Rainbow Dash said.

"First off, who here besides me thinks this is the best Equestria Games delegation in Ponyville history!?" She asked.

Everyone cheered, saying yes.

"And no matter what your sport is, we gotta give it our best! Because we've all got a shot at Ponyville gold!" Rainbow Dash said.

Everyone cheered again.

"...With the possible exception of Bulk Biceps, Fluttershy, Gohan and me." Rainbow Dash said.

"Which means we're good and all, but we're up against the Wonderbolts in the aerial relays." Rainbow Dash said.

"I said I'd go full speed for you already." Gohan said.

"I know, but I don't want to ruin their reputation..." Rainbow Dash said.

"Don't you think that beating them would win you a spot on the Wonderbolts?" Gohan asked.

"...Yeah, that's right! Then I can finally become a Wonderbolt!" Rainbow Dash said.

"So, nevermind her saying we don't have to try." Gohan said.

"Winners or not, you can still be awesome!" Scootaloo said.

"Did ya hear that everypony? Winners or not, we still have the chance to be awesome!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

Everyone cheered.

"But, uh, let's still try to win lots of stuff, okay?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Everyone went back to training!

Well, not Gohan... He did his training at 700x normal gravity that morning, but whatever.

As long as he's doing what his father does, he doesn't care.

Long story short, Gohan won the gold medal.

For every event.

He actually entered in every event.

He actually set a new damn record for gold medals won, damn it!

Those were the parts Gohan was mostly present in.

Other than that, he just said a few words, and that would be as boring as ever.
