Gohan had a rocky life through season 2.

Although most of his days were filled with training, it was also filled with the weird events of Equestria.

When Twilight was trying to write a letter to Celestia, she couldn't come up with anything, and feared tardiness. Gohan was dragged into all that.

"You want to help me with training?" Gohan asked.

"Sure! Anything I can do for one of my best friends!" Twilight said.

"Can you create weights?" Gohan asked.

"I could just come in that room with you and help." Twilight said.

"Oh no, you shouldn't. Your bones would shatter in there." Gohan said.

"Why? I want to help!" Twilight said.

"Because that room goes up to 1000x this place's gravity! You would die at 10!" Gohan said.

"Oh. Well, I can't create weights, sorry." Twilight said.

"That's alright. I'm heading back in, see you around." Gohan said.

"Don't you need help with anything else?" Twilight asked.

"I'm alright, thanks." Gohan said as he entered the 100x gravity chamber.

"Oh... Alright." Twilight said as she trotted away.

Later.

Gohan and Twilight were supposed to be at a picnic with the rest of the Mane 6.

Twilight was trying to find a way to write Celestia a letter, and Gohan was still training.

Eventually, Celestia had arrived in Ponyville.

Her power level caused Gohan to stop training and investigate.

"Meet me at the library." Celestia said, teleporting to Twilight's Treehouse.

"I'm sorry everypony. I'm going back to magic kindergarten." Twilight said with a sad tone while trotting back home.

"Magic kindergarten!?" The rest of the Mane 6 asked.

Gohan just arrived on the scene.

"What happened?" Gohan asked.

"Twilight's going to get sent to magic kindergarten!" Fluttershy said.

"M-Magic what?" Gohan asked.

"No time for chit-chat, we gotta go!" Rainbow Dash said.

There was when Nightmare Night came yet again, and Luna arrived to fix her reputation.

"Nightmare Night? You mean when Princess Luna was that Nightmare Moon?" Gohan asked.

He was where the shops are, was talking to Twilight and Spike.

"Yep! Why don't you have a costume?" Twilight asked.

"I-I guess I just didn't know, heh." Gohan said.

"Well... Why are you here?" Twilight asked.

"To buy food." Gohan said.

"How's my outfit?" Twilight asked.

"That's a cool wizard's costume." Gohan said.

"Close enough, somepony actually got it." Twilight said.

"Welcome to the Nightmare Night festival!" Mayor Mare, who was a clown said through a microphone.

Twilight, Spike, and Gohan went to see what the hubbub was about.

"All of our little ponies, who have been out collecting sweets, should follow our friend Zecora to hear the legend of... Nightmare Moon!" Mayor Mare said before cackling.

"The voice might work better if she wasn't dressed like that." Spike said to Twilight.

Twilight giggled in return.

Mayor Mare pointed a hoof at nothing, which turned into an explosion of green dust.

Out of it, came Zecora, wearing a wig with spiders on it. She also wore a Batman cape, but let's not focus on that.

"Follow me. And very soon, you will hear the tale of Nightmare Moon!" Zecora said.

After Zecora scared the fillies and Pinkie Pie with the 'scary' tale of Nightmare Moon, Luna arrived on the scene in a carriage.

The ponies, except Gohan, were being scared by the flying carriage.

"ITS NIGHTMARE MOON! RUUUUN!" Pinkie Pie, who was in a chicken costume, yelled.

All of the ponies, even Zecora but except for Twilight, ran.

Gohan stood still.

The carriage arrived at the town, where Gohan and Twilight followed.

Luna, wearing a hood emerged from the carriage, scaring all of the ponies.

She removed it, and lightning flashed with it.

All of the ponies, except for Gohan and Twilight bowed before her.

"Princess Luna!" Twilight said happily.

Spike dragged her down to the ground as if she's bowing.

Gohan walked up to Luna, who in turn walked towards Gohan.

They stood in front of each other with mean eyes.

But Gohan's quickly turned into a cheerful face.

"Hey Princess! How are you!?" Gohan asked, holding his hand out.

"I'm very fine, Son Gohan." Luna whispered as she held her hoof out, shaking Gohan's hand.

"Alright, you have a reason for being here, right?" Gohan asked.

"Indeed." Luna whispered.

"CITIZENS OF PONYVILLE!" She called, very loudly.

Her voice alone was enough to create winds.

"WE HAVE GRACED YOUR VILLAGE WITH OUR TINY PRESENCE! SO THAT YOU MIGHT BEHOLD, THE REAL PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT!" Luna called with a smirk.

"A CREATURE OF NIGHTMARES NO LONGER, BUT INSTEAD, A PONY WHO DESIRES YOUR LOVE LOVE AND ADMIRATION! TOGETHER WE SHALL CHANGE THIS DREADFUL CELEBRATION INTO A GREAT, AND GLORIOUS FEAST!" Luna called, scaring the ponies out of their minds.

"DID YOU HEAR THAT!? NIGHTMARE MOON'S GOING TO FEAST ON US ALL!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed before running away and screaming with the children.

Gohan looked at Pinkie Pie in confusion.

This left Luna confused. "What? No children, no! You no longer have reason to fear us! Screams of delight is what your princess desires, not screams of terror!" Luna said, stomping a hoof on the ground, cracking it.

"Madam Mayor! Thy princess of the night has arrived!" Luna called, beckoning a hoof at Mayor Mare.

This only scared the ponies even more.

Luna became angry at this, and pointed her hoof at another pony, which scared her too.

"What is the matter with you!?" Luna asked, pointing her hoof at others.

This only scared them.

When Luna pointed her hoof at Gohan, he just waved and smiled like it was nothing.

"Fine then! Be that way! We won't even depart with the traditional farewell!" Luna called, beginning to trot away.

Gohan was confused now.

Spike's birthday wasn't the best either.

Gohan cracked open a boulder full of gems.

"Alright, this can be Spike's present!" Gohan said.

He filled his sack, and waiting for tomorrow.

Tomorrow, he was at Twilight's Treehouse, along with the Mane 6.

"Happy Birthday!" They all said.

All of them, except for Gohan and Twilight stacked them in Spike's arms.

Spike looked confused at the gifts.

"Don't you know that you get presents on your birthday?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Actually, this is my first birthday in Ponyville. I usually just get one present... From Twilight... Book." Spike said.

Twilight was trotting towards Spike with a book, and stopped in her tracks.

She realized her gift mistake and hid it.

"Well, don't eat it all in one place, but here you go." Gohan said, placing the sack of gems beside Spike.

Spike glanced at the sack. "Is that what I think it is?" He asked, pointing at the sack.

"You might as well open it, along with your other presents." Gohan said.

"Alright! I was right! It's gems!" Spike exclaimed.

Rarity's mouth was agape.

"Gohan dear, I want to invite you the next time we happen to go gem hunting." She said.

"Uh... Alright." Gohan said.

After the party, Spike got immensely greedy, and demanded things from other ponies.

This caused him to turn into a giant dragon.

Despite Ponyville's greatest efforts, they could not stop the ever growing Spike.

Even the Wonderbolts were not able to defeat Spike.

The huge power level and roars got Gohan to leave his gravity chamber and fly towards Ponyville.

Spike had managed to have Rarity in his stash.

"What the... A dragon!?" Gohan asked.

"Not again!" He yelled as he pummeled Spike in the stomach repeatedly.

This subdued Spike for a bit.

Gohan flew up to Spike's face and slapped it.

"Drop it." He demanded.

Spike roared at Gohan in return, who wasn't fazed.

"HELP ME!" Rarity yelled.

"Oh man, that's not good." Gohan said.

"GOHAN! ITS SPIKE!" Twilight yelled.

"Spike? Then that means..." Gohan said.

Spike had traversed up a mountain, and trapped the Wonderbolts and his stash inside a cave.

Gohan quickly followed.

"Spike, I don't know how, but you've really grown! Why are you doing this!?" Gohan yelled.

Spike tried to show that he didn't care by mimicking him.

"That's right! You have nothing to be proud of!" Rarity shouted.

"Stealing everypony's things, terrorize the town, and you dared to use me as a weapon against my own friends! Which is horrible, but I understand since you're a dragon and all! AND THIS!" Rarity yelled, removing her ruined cape.

"THIS IS A CRIME AGAINST FASHON!" Rarity shouted.

This revealed a necklace gem that Spike gave to Rarity.

After a long lecture, remembering memories and painful realizations, Spike ended up turning into a baby again.

"Spike!? You're the rampaging dragon!?" Rarity asked.

On Hearth's Warming Eve, Gohan showed a true mastery of swordsmanship, after the play. He even got a sword that night.

"A decoy? This actually looks and feels real!" Gohan said, holding a 'decoy' of Commander Hurricane's sword.

It was a sword used for plays, but it was an actual sword.

It looked very similar to Gohan's from when he trained under Piccolo.

"Yeah, they said we could use it if we want. Nopony was dangerous enough to even hold it." Rainbow Dash said.

Gohan wielded the sword majestically.

He swung it down, turned a little bit, and swung it down again with one hand in rapid succession, while balancing on one foot many times.

"Oh my! Gohan, are you a swordsman by any chance?" Rarity asked.

"I did use a sword when I was four... This looks exactly like it! Even the sheath is the same!" Gohan said.

"I think you can keep it. It looks awesome, anyway." Rainbow Dash said.

"OOH! Cut this pie into eighths!" Pinkie Pie said, throwing an apple pie into the air.

Gohan jumped up and did it instantly, with a perfect cut.

The pie landed in a plate Pinkie Pie held.

"Woo hoo! Now we each have a slice for the trip home!" Pinkie Pie said.

The Mane 6, Spike and Gohan laughed to this.

When Applejack left to work at a cherry farm, Gohan was stuck in Ponyville with a nasty cold, so he didn't follow the Mane 6.

For hearts and hooves day, Gohan didn't have a Valentine, but spent the day making cards for the whole town.

"Thanks!" Many ponies said as Gohan handed out cards.

Handing it to some of his friends was a little difficult.

In fact, a few of them thought Gohan was actually coming on to them.

Rarity thought so, and asked Gohan if he had a crush.

"No. I don't want to fall in love with a pony." Gohan said.

"Oh. I thought you and Spike were after me for a moment." Rarity chuckled nervously.

"Well... Happy hearts and hooves day." Gohan said, flying out of the Boutique.

Even Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash thought the same thing.

"Y-You don't like me in that way, do you?" Fluttershy asked.

"No! Rarity asked the same thing, but I'm not interested in loving a pony." Gohan said.

"That's a relief. I didn't want to turn you down and make you feel bad." Fluttershy chuckled.

"Alright. See you!" Gohan said before flying away.

"What? Are you coming on to me?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Gohan groaned. "Not again... No, I am not because I am not interested in loving a pony." He explained.

"Good. I had my eye on you just in case." Rainbow Dash said.

"In case what? I like a pony?" Gohan asked.

"N-None of your business!" Rainbow Dash retorted as she blushed and flew away.

Gohan chuckled in response.

When Fluttershy was taught to be assertive, she dished out the most painful insult on Gohan.

Gohan witnessed Fluttershy scream at a pony, and he ran.

He flew over to her.

"Fluttershy? What happened?" Gohan asked.

"None of your BUSINESS." Fluttershy said.

"I-I'm sorry if I eavesdropped on something personal." Gohan said.

"Why? So you could walk all over the shy pony you see? Well New Fluttershy isn't letting THAT happen. Now get out of my way!" Fluttershy yelled.

Gohan was in the air, and was NOT in Fluttershy's way.

"Uh... Are you going to be flying this way?" Gohan asked.

"No, I wanted you to BUCK OFF!" Fluttershy yelled.

Gohan was offended by the statement.

"What did I do!?" He retorted.

"I know what you're thinking. 'OOH! Poor doormat Fluttershy can't move me, I might as well get in her way!' But New Fluttershy is telling you to MOVE!" Fluttershy yelled.

"C-Can you calm down? Are you stressed or something? I don't think you're a pushover, Fluttershy!" Gohan said.

"Says the 'protector of Equestria' who's a TAILLESS MONKEY!" Fluttershy yelled.

'That's what Frieza called us.' Gohan thought.

"W-What happened to you, Fluttershy!? Why are you so mean!?" Gohan retorted.

"Iron Will taught me how to be assertive!" Fluttershy retorted.

"There's a difference between being assertive and being a HUGE jerk, Fluttershy!" Gohan retorted.

"Says the brainless fighter." Fluttershy scoffed.

"You're so dumb that you let your father die!" She said with a smirk.

That was the heavy hit.

Gohan's anger grew immensely, but it paled in comparison to the major sadness he felt.

"Y-You... Think I killed my dad?" Gohan formed. He barely said it.

"No duh! No wonder he's dead! You killed him!" Fluttershy said.

Gohan's face showed how sad he just became.

Gohan had tears rolling down his face.

"I-If you... T-Then... Fine!" Gohan retorted before flying away and crying.

"Pfft. Baby." Fluttershy said.

You can tell the depression soon followed.

You know, the extreme wailing in his shack.

They did make up after that, though.

"G-Gohan?" Fluttershy asked, knocking on the door of the gravity chamber.

Gohan was inside of it, but he wasn't training. He was trying to clear his thoughts in the gravity.

Hearing the knock, he lost his meditative state.

Gohan turned the gravity machine off and opened the door.

He showed no emotion when he saw Fluttershy, but he was definitely scared that she would keep talking about his past.

Even though Gohan never told anyone about that part.

"U-Um... Hi..." Fluttershy mumbled.

"Hello Fluttershy." Gohan said.

"I-I came and wanted to say... I-I'm sorry for... What I did earlier..." Fluttershy said, hiding her face behind her mane.

"I didn't mean any of it! I swear!" She immediately said.

"What you said really hurt, but it's for a completely different reason. But, I forgive you. I just want to know why you changed." Gohan said.

Fluttershy sighed in relief. "Good... I attended something that taught me to be a real meanie." She said.

"Well, it's great to have you back." Gohan said, gesturing for a hug.

They hugged.

Gohan had actually went with Spike so he could figure out his heritage.

It did not end well for the other dragons.

At Twilight's Treehouse...

"He just wants to learn about his heritage. I mean, I want to learn more about mine, but it's all I know." Gohan said.

"It's too dangerous!" Twilight said.

"Come on, Twilight! I need answers!" Spike said.

"And he's the perfect bodyguard in case I may get mauled!" He added.

"Twilight, trust me. He will be alright." Gohan said.

"Ugh, fine." Twilight said.

"Really!?" Spike asked.

"Okay! Pack up, Spike. I'm taking you on a trip to a place called Auschwitz!" Gohan said.

Don't take that seriously.

"Awesome!" Spike said.

Gohan flew Spike to where the dragons lived.

Gohan brought his sword, while Spike carried some essentials.

"This is it!" Gohan said, landing gently.

Spike jumped off Gohan's back. "Sweet!" He said.

Spike tried to traverse up a mountain, but quickly tripped and slid down.

"I guess I'll take you up there too." Gohan said, laughing awkwardly.

Gohan and Spike reached the top of where Spike wanted to go.

At the top, they saw many dragons. One breathed fire towards Gohan and Spike.

Gohan used his ki to keep it from coming, but Spike hid behind a rock.

"Don't worry, I'll be around." Gohan said.

Spike peeked from behind the rock to look down and find teenage dragons.

"Let's go down there!" Spike said, pointing at the teenagers.

"Okay." Gohan said, carrying Spike on his back again.

They made way for the teenagers.

The teenage dragons were all wrestling.

"Hello everyone!" Gohan said as they landed.

Spike jumped off his back to talk to the dragons.

"Uh hi. I'm Spike." Spike said.

The teenagers stopped wrestling to look at the two for a moment.

There was a weird thing they never saw and a baby dragon.

"You sure your name is Spike and not SHRIMP?" A teenage dragon asked.

They all laughed.

"Hey, hey, hey! Let's all be nice with each other." Gohan said.

"I'm Spike! I'm sure about that!" Spike retorted.

"You sure? It's more like PEEWEE to me." Another dragon said.

The other dragons laughed.

'This can't be my age group.' Gohan thought.

Gohan sensed a few presences behind him.

It was Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Twilight dresses as a terrible dragon.

"Spike, I'll be back in a second." Gohan said, flying away.

The dragons looked at Gohan in confusion. "How did your friend fly?" One asked.

"Beats me." Spike said.

"Alright guys, cough it up. What are you three doing?" Gohan asked.

"How'd you- Nevermind. We came to check on Spike." Twilight said.

"Don't worry about it, he's with me. I would leave if I were you, they don't seem to nice around here." Gohan said.

"Yeah, I'm going to go and take a nap." Rainbow Dash said.

"Just make sure Spike comes back in one piece!" Twilight said.

"You have my word." Gohan said.

"Thanks. Bye!" Twilight said before teleporting away.

'Okay, that's out of the picture.' Gohan said, flying back to Spike.

Already, they were making more fun of Spike.

"I'd say your a PART pony!" A dragon said, cornering Spike.

"That's enough!" Gohan said as he landed.

"What are YOU going to do about it, huh?" One of the dragons asked.

"You don't want to know. Really." Gohan said.

"Who's this? Your monkey friend?" A dragon asked.

"Close enough. I'm Gohan. Now, let's treat each other fairly." Gohan said.

"Let's prove that 'Spike' here's a dragon. WHOS UP FOR A BELCHING CONTEST!?" A dragon asked.

Three dragons burped, or breathed fire, and the third one had the nastiest one.

"Think you can top that?" A dragon asked Spike.

Spike tried, but ended up burping a letter out.

A dragon read the letter, and laughed. "Get this, guys! Spike's friends with a nabby pabby pony princess!" He said.

The other dragons laughed as a result.

"Let's jump off the cliff! Whoever creates the biggest splash wins!" A dragon yelled.

All the dragons jumped off, and Spike tried to as well, but belly flopped.

"He's no pony, he survived a belly flop like that!" A dragon said.

The other dragons applauded Spike.

Gohan gave his cheers as well.

Later, they held a 'ceremony' for Spike, crowning him as rookie dragon.

Then the dragons partied 'dragon style', which was eating a ton of gems.

Gohan looked on in fear. 'Spike wouldn't end up like them, would he?' He asked himself.

Eventually, they all flew to a pheonix's nest, where Spike was being pushed into getting the parents to flee while the others grabbed the eggs.

Spike was trying to avoid it.

"Seriously, you guys have no respect!" Gohan shouted.

This caused the dragons to stop talking, cheering or laughing.

"This little guy's a baby, and you're making him do things that's too much! I mean, you guys were probably in the same place as him!" Gohan shouted.

"Well, so what? We can do what we want!" A dragon yelled.

"That doesn't mean you have to bully a BABY of all dragons, into harming nature!" Gohan said.

"Why are you talking anyway? You're a shrimp like him!" A dragon said.

"I'm talking because you're not helping my friend, when all he wants to do is find out his heritage!" Gohan said.

"This is his heritage! We do pranks and stuff like this all the time!" A dragon said.

"Spike, do you really want them to take the parents' children?" Gohan asked.

"Uh... No... But it's all part of being a dragon!" Spike said.

"Spike, just because you're a dragon, doesn't mean you have to act like one. I mean, look at me! I'm a Saiyan, but I'm not looking to pick fights or conquer planets, like my race did. Why? Because it's wrong." Gohan said.

"I guess you're right." Spike said.

"Hold on! He still needs to do this!" A dragon said.

"I don't want to." Spike said.

"What did you just say?" The same dragon asked, walking slowly up to Spike.

Gohan quickly stepped in front of Spike. "He said no." He said.

"Not if I have ANYTHING to say about it!" The dragon said, swinging a fist.

Gohan caught the fist, shocking the other dragons. "Leave, before I do something bad." He said.

"Like what?" The dragon asked.

Gohan took a deep breath. He swung the dragon around and threw him back to the mountains.

The other dragons looked in shock. "How could you do that to our friend!?" They asked, all going for Gohan.

Spike cowered and ran to a bush in fear.

Gohan punched one in the stomach, broke another's arm and knocked out another with a powerful kick.

They all fell to the ground.

"H-How!?" The dragons asked.

"Go. I won't stop here if you stay." Gohan said.

The dragons quickly flew away in fear.

"Thanks Gohan." Spike said.

"Not a problem. Now let's get home, Twilight's worried sick." Gohan said, carrying Spike again.

Gohan even helped to train Fluttershy for the Rainy Season.

Fluttershy had just ran home, because of her pathetic wingpower.

"Come on, Gohan! Show them how much wingpower you have!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Uh... Okay." Gohan said.

'Just suppress yourself.' He thought.

Gohan flew fast by accident.

"A-A 52.8." Rainbow Dash said.

'Oh no.' Gohan thought.

"That was awesome!" Rainbow Dash said.

"R-Really?" Gohan asked.

"You could help us!" Rainbow Dash said.

"No, I'll be there as a last resort. I'll go check on Fluttershy." Gohan said, flying away.

"See ya! Now, let's get to training!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Fluttershy?" Gohan asked, knocking on the door to her cottage.

Fluttershy opened the door. "Hello. What brings you here?" She asked.

"Because of what happened with the wingpower. You're usually faster than that, what happened?" Gohan asked.

Fluttershy explained her problem at Cloudsdale, and how she wasn't great, and the fillies laughing at her.

"Hm... I could train you to be better." Gohan said.

"R-Really? B-But your training is too intense!" Fluttershy said.

"I'll tone it down a million notches for you, but we need to fix something before you tackle physical training." Gohan said.

"W-What?" Fluttershy asked.

"Follow me." Gohan said, flying away.

"Alright, we need to fix this mental problem. We need to push the thought of that out." Gohan said.

They were at a lake, where there were no other ponies, and the background was calming.

"H-How will we do that?" Fluttershy asked.

"We're going to try meditating, and pushing those thoughts out with thoughts that build you up." Gohan said.

"H-How will we do it?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well, with no surroundings to bother you, it can be a walk in the park. But you have to calm yourself instead of thinking." Gohan said.

"How?" Fluttershy asked.

"I'll explain as we go along." Gohan said.

"Close your eyes. Focus on your breath. Don't think of anything else, but that rhythm. Don't even judge it." He said.

Fluttershy did just that.

Eventually, she didn't realize that she couldn't think about anything but her breathing.

'Alright.' Gohan thought.

After about a half hour, Fluttershy was no longer in a meditative state.

She blinked a few times.

"Nice job. You lasted a long time for a beginner." Gohan said.

"R-Really?" Fluttershy asked.

"I want you to remember that feeling when you're feeling down, it will boost you." Gohan said.

"Yay." Fluttershy said.

"And now it's time for the real part, physical training!" Gohan said.

"Oh. Right..." Fluttershy said.

Fluttershy was doing very slow wing push ups.

"Come on! Faster! You're too slow!" Gohan pestered. He was trying to get Fluttershy to use that feeling to forget what Gohan's insults were.

It worked, and Fluttershy paid no attention to Gohan's countless insults.

She finally did 30 of the push ups.

"There you go. Take a break." Gohan said.

"Phew!... Why did you insult me?" Fluttershy asked in between pants.

"Putting your meditation to the test." Gohan said.

"Oh. It worked!" Fluttershy said.

"Yeah! You'll be flying with everyone else in no time!" Gohan said.

Gohan didn't know that the Cutie Mark Crusaders had kind of ruined his reputation with Gabby Gums until he read his column.

"Who wrote this? Gabby Gums?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah, its cool!" Rainbow Dash said.

They were in the skies.

"I've never heard of this thing, but it's hurtful! It even said something mean about the mayor!" Gohan said.

"But it's cool!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Gabby Gums wrote me down as a monkey with nothing better to do than train. I have a social life, but this Gabby Gums just made everyone think I'm antisocial!" Gohan said.

"Suck it up." Rainbow Dash said.

"You wouldn't be saying that if YOU were in the paper." Gohan said.

That was most of Season 2 anyway. Now, let's get to where Gohan and his friends are now!
