Twilight Sparkle had just arrived in Ponyville. She was a unicorn raised in Canterlot. She met a lot of ponies, five of whom followed her back to her new home.

They had just seen Nightmare Moon before she vanished into the Everfree Forest.

An explosion could be heard. A white flash of light could be seen at the center of Ponyville.

"What was that!?" Twilight asked, quickly rushing outside her treehouse library.

The baby dragon, Spike and the five other ponies quickly followed.

Many ponies gathered around this new creature. It had a hole in its stomach.

The new creature was Gohan.

"What is that... That looks awful!" One pony said.

"Get it away from my little filly!" Another pony said, shielding her filly's eyes.

"It looks hurt!" A certain yellow pegasus said.

It was Fluttershy, caretaker of animals. She approached the unconscious Gohan.

"You probably shouldn't get near that thing, Fluttershy." An orange earth pony said. It was Applejack.

"Yes, it could be hostile!" A white unicorn said.

It was Rarity, the seamstress.

"This... This is a new species..." Twilight said.

It was Twilight Sparkle, the magic prodigy.

Then, Gohan opened his eyes. Then he closed them, and instantly groaned in pain.

He held his stomach.

Everyone stepped back. Everyone except for Fluttershy, that is.

"Ow... W-Who's there?" Gohan asked, slightly opening his eyes again. He sat up as well.

Everyone was surprised that this thing just talked.

"Horses?..." Gohan asked.

"We are ponies, for your information!" Twilight scolded.

"O-Oh... Excuse me... I'm so sorry." Gohan said, cowering and tearing up.

That voice just reminded him of his mother.

The painful memory of her disowning him...

"Are you alright?" Fluttershy asked.

"N-No... I have a hole... In my stomach." Gohan said, lifting his hand to show the blood.

'And obviously something else...' He thought.

"That thing is a monster!" A pony yelled.

"W-Wha?... Shenron... You didn't..." Gohan said before tears rolled down his face.

The rest of the memories came back.

"You monster!"

"No!" Fluttershy said, breaking that thought.

"It's hurt, helpless and needs us!" She said.

Gohan looked to Fluttershy quizzically.

"Fluttershy's right... It needs help." A cyan pegasus flying overhead said.

It was Rainbow Dash, the fastest flyer in Equestria.

Then, Gohan had a little hope. Shenron may have done it.

"That thing looks disgusting!" Another pony yelled.

The memories came back...

"Stop!" Twilight yelled.

"Tell us your name, uh... What are you?" She asked.

"I-I'm Gohan... A half human, half Saiyan." Gohan said.

"There's only one way that thing's getting in the hospital! Get it to talk Nightmare Moon down!" A pony said.

"What!? Don't do that to the poor thing!" Fluttershy said.

"Nightmare... Moon?" Gohan asked.

"I'm not surprised... Nightmare Moon ponynapped Princess Celestia, the ruler of Equestria. We need to defeat her somehow..." Twilight said,

"...I'll do it..." Gohan said, standing up.

This exposed the hole in his stomach, as well as his armor.

Everyone was surprised at his height.

"B-But you're hurt, Gohan!" Twilight said.

"If you guys will help me-" Gohan said before he coughed blood into his arm.

Fluttershy gasped.

Rarity retched.

"Excuse me... If you will help me if I help you, I have to do it..." Gohan said.

"You couldn't even harm Nightmare Moon even if you tried!" Twilight said.

"Harm? So I must fight?" Gohan asked.

'But I don't LIKE to fight...' He thought to himself.

"Yeah, you wouldn't be able to do anything if you tried!" Twilight said.

Despite Gohan's dislike for battle, his Saiyan instincts excited him, despite his wound.

"I'll battle this Nightmare Moon." Gohan said with a serious face.

"Don't! You'll die!" Fluttershy said.

Gohan flew up a little. "I sense a huge power level over that way. I will return... Please help me then." He said.

"Uh... Alright?" Twilight said.

"Thank you so much!" Gohan said with glee before slowly flying away.

"How did that thing fly?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"What's a Saiyan? Or a human? OOH! Can we call it a Saiyaman!?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Calm down, Pinkie. We have to save it before it dies!" Twilight said.

"Let's follow that thing!" Applejack asked.

"Alright!" Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Twilight, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie said.

The Mane 6 ran towards the Everfree Forest.

Gohan flew over the entire forest in moments, and found an ancient, ruined castle.

He quickly entered the castle.

Gohan immediately saw 5 stones. He paid no attention to them.

Gohan walked for a bit, but stopped in his tracks. His vision began to blur.

"Oh no..." He said.

The wound Piccolo left him...

In both his heart and his stomach was starting to affect his consciousness.

Gohan fell over.

After this, he sat up, holding his stomach.

It hurt, oh did it hurt.

Gohan would kill Nightmare Moon if it meant easing the pain.

He was desperate at this point.

Living like a fugitive on the run, he wanted a way out.

But it could never ease the pain.... Not forever.

Gohan decided to rest up, he needed to gather his energy for his new foe.

He took his sweet time.

"Concentrate... You can muster the strength to fight Nightmare Moon." He said to himself.

The Mane 6 were going through the challenges of the Everfree Forest. They showed the magic of friendship in order to overcome them.

After Rainbow Dash rebuilt a bridge for her friends to pass, they were at the entrance of a castle belonging to the royal sisters.

"Here it is." Twilight said, opening the door.

The Mane Six saw Gohan sitting down.

"Gohan?" Twilight asked.

Gohan quickly looked over his shoulder. "Oh... Hello..." He said.

"Did you face Nightmare Moon?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Not yet... I'm about to go." Gohan said, standing up.

"Oh no! You shouldn't be fighting with that wound, you poor thing." Fluttershy said, inspecting Gohan's wound.

She made sure not to touch it.

"If I defeat Nightmare Moon, I can get myself healed up! Don't worry..." Gohan said with a weak smile.

"But you won't beat Nightmare Moon!" Twilight said.

"H-How so?" Gohan asked.

"She's as strong as Princess Celestia!" Twilight said.

"I-I'm sorry, I'm afraid don't know who this 'Celestia' is..." Gohan said.

"I understand she's a ruler, but I don't know her." He said.

"She's the strongest!" Twilight said.

"But, I have more strength... More than you... You think." Gohan said, catching his breath.

"You leave her to us, Gohan!" Rainbow Dash said.

The two pegasi carefully set the 5 stones down to the ground.

Twilight took the 5 stones. They were what made the Elements of Harmony.

However, in that moment...

Twilight was teleported to face Nightmare Moon somewhere else.

"What?" Applejack asked.

Gohan could sense Nightmare Moon and Twilight in a tower.

"Follow me!" Gohan said, flying to their location.

Nightmare Moon had already shattered the five stones.

"No!" Twilight said.

"It is futile! Surrender now!" Nightmare Moon said.

Gohan and the others rushed in.

"Nightmare Moon!" Gohan yelled, pointing at Nightmare Moon. "Prepare yourself!" He said.

"What is this? A mere child is challenging me? Don't make me laugh." Nightmare Moon said.

Gohan landed and walked closer to Nightmare Moon. "Test me." He said, with a serious face.

"Thou challenges me? Thou shall die!" Nightmare Moon yelled, shooting a powerful blast of magic from her horn.

"No! Get out of there, Gohan!" Twilight yelled.

Gohan held one hand up to shield the powerful blast.

Smoke was everywhere. Gohan couldn't be seen inside of it.

"The child is dead. Such bravery, might I add." Nightmare Moon said.

"Dead? I'm not one to die." Gohan said, powering up to clear the smoke.

"W-What is this!? T-Thou isn't... Dead!?" Nightmare Moon asked, horrified at her futile attempt.

"What in tarnation!?" Applejack asked.

"How about I blast you!?" Gohan asked, placing one hand in front of the other. He raised them over his head and a yellow energy ball charged in front of them.

"W-What the... Magic!?" Twilight asked.

"Impossible!" Nightmare Moon said.

"Masenko.... HA!" Gohan yelled, shooting a powerful blast at Nightmare Moon.

Nightmare Moon hadn't bothered to block.

She believed the blast would do nothing.

She took it on with the most evil of grins, and...

She was hit right in the face!

She was knocked back a little, surprisingly.

That shocked the ponies even more.

Nightmare Moon took damage.

From no other than a Saiyan!

"How can a mere child... Damage such a deity as me!? Impossible!" She yelled.

The Mane 6 looked in disbelief. This random creature seemingly used magic to actually damage Nightmare Moon, in an injured state!

Nightmare Moon shot another blast at Gohan, which he kicked away.

"Please, I don't want to hurt you anymore!" Gohan said.

"You demand that I surrender? Don't make me laugh! You're at your breaking point!" Nightmare Moon said.

She could see that wound.

And she attacked!

She started with four magic blasts.

Gohan sidestepped to dodge one, and jumped over another.

He swatted another away and tanked one more right in the chest.

Gohan stood on the ground again.

He seemed unfazed.

"Let's go!" He yelled, dashing forward.

Each step was combined with pain.

He threw a punch at Nightmare Moon with tears in his eyes.

They were from physical pain.

Nightmare Moon's head was hit to the side, but she responded with a blast of magic.

Gohan barely dodged and performed a roundhouse kick.

Nightmare Moon managed to maneuver under that and smashed her horn into his stomach.

Gohan coughed blood as she blasted him away.

He rolled on the ground for a few seconds before eventually stopping.

"I said it was futile to challenge me!" Nightmare Moon called.

Gohan managed to get himself up.

"Gohan, don't!" Fluttershy pleaded.

"Stay back! I'm going to win!" Gohan yelled, jumping at Nightmare Moon.

He seemed really resilient...

"What a brave creature..." Rarity said.

Nonetheless, Gohan couldn't keep up the 'unbreakble' act for much longer.

His wound was making it harder as time passed.

The two started clashing more and more.

"How in tarnation is Gohan standing up to that Nightmare Moon!?" Applejack exclaimed.

"I don't understand... An injured creature is actually going toe to toe with Nightmare Moon!" Twilight said.

"He doesn't seem like he can last long." Rainbow Dash said.

"Then we need to utilize the time!" Twilight said, looking to the broken elements.

"Hragh!" Gohan yelled as he kicked Nightmare Moon.

He flew backwards for some distance,

The combination of pain and fighting tired him.

He was panting, getting as much air as possible.

Nightmare Moon herself was damaged, but was clearly winning the war of attrition.

She shot an evil grin.

"I can almost hear your tiny little heart shrieking..." She said sinisterly.

"Afraid to fail, afraid to die... Afraid to go back to such an excavated past..." She said.

"Be quiet!" Gohan yelled, running at Nightmare Moon.

He hadn't even questioned how she knew that.

But, that was the reaction she was hoping for with her bluff.

Gohan fell into Nightmare Moon's trap.

Nightmare Moon used her magic to ensnare him!

"What!?" Gohan asked, struggling to move.

Nightmare Moon cackled. "You thought you could defeat me!? Child!? Don't be serious." She said.

"Now, make a choice! Join me, or die." Nightmare Moon said.

"Never! I won't side with evil...!" Gohan yelled.

"Your choice, child!" Nightmare Moon yelled.

She slowly started to tear at Gohan's wound with her magic.

Gohan screamed in pain.

The wound very, very slowly widened for maximum pain.

Even more screaming combined with tears came from that.

Nightmare Moon relished in it.

Blood started to seep out...

In that moment, Twilight figured it out.

"Girls, I figured it out!" Twilight said.

"Then get on with it!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Nightmare Moon!" Twilight yelled.

Nightmare Moon paid no attention to Twilight, she was too busy torturing Gohan.

Gohan felt totally helpless.

Nightmare Moon got to his head...

And now he was at her mercy.

But...

He had to fight, he just had to!

'Fight or die... Fight or die!' He thought.

"I WON'T LOSE!" He yelled.

He screamed with a burst of strength!

An intense yellow aura appeared!

"The spirits of the Elements of Harmony live on, even though their broken!" Twilight said. "They're right here!" She added.

Gohan's hair and eyebrows turned yellow, and his irises turned blue.

Nightmare Moon was losing her grip...

Gohan's aura grew bigger, and shattered the magic!

Nightmare Moon recoiled in shock.

"W-What!? You were holding back!?" She asked.

Gohan floated in the air, in front of Nightmare Moon.

He was panting, as his form couldn't last long, but if he didn't do much, he could defeat her.

"I am a Super Saiyan!" Gohan yelled.

The 5 shattered stones began to float around the Mane 6.

"Applejack, who reassured me while I doubted her, represents the spirit of Honesty!" Twilight yelled.

The stone representing honesty floated around Applejack.

Gohan caught on to what Twilight was doing, and didn't attack. "They will end this!" He yelled.

"T-The stones are shattered! Impossible! Two problems, this is terrible!" Nightmare Moon yelled.

"Fluttershy, who tamed the Manticore with compassion, represents the spirit of Kindness!" Twilight yelled.

The stone representing kindness floated around Fluttershy.

"Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of Laughter!" Twilight yelled.

The stone representing laughter floated around Pinkie Pie.

"Rarity, who calmed the sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift, represents the spirit of Generosity!" Twilight yelled.

The stone representing generosity floated around Rarity.

"And Rainbow Dash, who could not abandon her friends for her own heart's desire, represents the spirit of Loyalty!" Twilight yelled.

The stone representing loyalty floated around Rainbow Dash.

"The spirits of these ponies overcame the challenges you threw at us!" Twilight yelled.

"There's no sixth element!" Nightmare Moon laughed.

Gohan noticed the Elements of Harmony growing in power. He cupped his hands together at his side.

"Ka..." He said.

"It is here. It needed a different kind of spark. I realized that you girls are all, my friends!" Twilight yelled.

"Me..." Gohan said, as a blue ball of energy appeared in between his hands.

The sixth Element of Harmony appeared in the form of a stone.

"Ha..." Gohan said.

"The spark that resides in all of our hearts created the sixth element. The element of Magic!" Twilight yelled.

The sixth element, magic shone a bright light.

"Me..." Gohan said.

The shattered stones floating around the five ponies all morphed into five necklaces with each representation of the Elements of Harmony.

The sixth element morphed into a crown, representing magic. It fell on top of Twilight's head.

A double rainbow blasted towards the sky, and flew back down towards Nightmare Moon.

"HA!" Gohan yelled, unleashing the Kamehameha wave at Nightmare Moon. The blast had nearly every bit of his energy left in him.

"NOOOO!" Nightmare Moon yelled as she was engulfed by both of the blasts.

The only difference was, Gohan's blast blew a hole in the wall, and could be seen across the horizon.
