"Hello! Who are you, miss?" Gohan asked, bowing his head.

"I'm Cheerilee, a schoolteacher at Ponyville Schoolhouse. I've come to ask... How old are you?" Cheerilee asked.

"I'm... Twelve." Gohan said.

He forgot, he doesn't have a calendar.

"I thought so! You're underage!" Cheerilee said, pointing a hoof at Gohan.

"U-Um... Yes?" Gohan said. "Is that a problem?" He asked.

"Yes it is. You can't simply own a residence, and you must go to school!" Cheerilee said.

"W-What? Are you telling me I have to go to grade school?" Gohan asked.

"Yes. You need to find a different place of residence. One with an adult. The mayor of Ponyville, Mayor Mare has summoned you." Cheerilee said.

"Uh... Okay... Where's Mayor Mare?" Gohan asked.

"I will take you to her. Then I must return to the schoolhouse." Cheerilee said, trotting away. "Follow me." She added.

'Uh oh...' Gohan thought.

"Mr. Son, I've summoned you here for a reason. You're underage. Also you defeated Discord, thank you very much for that." Mayor Mare said.

"Uh... Yes... Can I keep my job in the sky?" Gohan asked.

"I don't believe so, despite your weird ability to fly." Mayor Mare said.

"W-What am I going to do!?" Gohan asked.

"Firstly, you may probably keep your job as weather pony. Secondly, you must attend school at Ponyville Schoolhouse. Thirdly, you must find a different residence, one with at least one adult to take care of you." Mayor Mare said.

Gohan was wide eyed. "Please tell me you're lying..." He said.

"I'm afraid not." Mayor Mare said. "I want you to know that I respect you, but everypony must abide by the law." She added.

"Alright... W-When do I start school?" Gohan asked.

"You start... Tomorrow. Today's Monday, be at Ponyville Schoolhouse by 8:30 AM." Mayor Mare said, scanning Gohan's schedule.

She handed the schedule to Gohan. "You will need this." She said.

Gohan took the paper and sighed. "Oh well." He said.

"Well, you may have to be at the orphanage. Your shack will be owned by the government. Here's a suitcase." Mayor Mare said, giving Gohan a small suitcase.

"Take your belongings and put it inside. If you find somepony to take you in, you won't have to be at the orphanage." Mayor Mare said.

Gohan had a sad look. "Alright." He said. "Have a good afternoon." He added as he left.

Gohan went home, packed his clothes and bits and left.

He flew to Twilight's Treehouse.

Gohan knocked on Twilight's door.

"Come in!" Twilight yelled.

Gohan opened the door and entered. "Twilight, I'm in trouble." He said.

"What's wrong?" Twilight asked.

"I'm getting kicked out of my house, and I have to go to school. I think I lost my job, too." Gohan said.

"Oh. That's not good... I can't house you, sorry." Twilight said.

"I wasn't going to ask that, but do you know anyone else who can?" Gohan asked.

"Maybe Applejack or Fluttershy... I don't know about them, but it's worth a shot." Twilight said.

"Thanks. See you around!" Gohan said, rushing out Twilight's door.

As soon as he left, he was greeted by a crowd of news reporters.

"Oh no!" Gohan yelled.

"Excuse me, Mr. Gohan!"

"MR. GOHAN!"

"WHY DID YOU REFUSE A REWARD FROM PRINCESS CELESTIA HERSELF?"

"ARE YOU A MINOR?"

"WHAT ARE YOU!?"

"HOW DID YOU DEFEAT DISCORD?"

"WERE YOU THE ONE WHO DEFEATED THE URSA MAJOR?"

The ponies shouted.

They were even taking pictures of Gohan, which made it worse.

Gohan instantly flew up to the skies, avoiding the ponies.

"GET BACK HERE! YOUR INTERVIEW ISN'T OVER!" The ponies shouted.

Some of the pegasi flew up after Gohan.

"Please leave me alone!" Gohan shouted.

"ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS!" They yelled.

Gohan sighed and used his tremendous speed to seemingly teleport away.

"What!?" The ponies shouted.

Gohan flew into Canterlot, and towards Celestia's palace.

"Princess!" Gohan yelled.

"Halt! State your business." The solar guard yelled, blocking the entrance.

"I need the princess to help me!" Gohan said.

"Oh, y-you're the one who stopped Discord, did you not?" The guard asked.

"Oh no.... Yes I did, now I need to see the Princess!" Gohan said.

"You've caused quite a fuss here. What rights do you have to see the princess?" The guard asked.

"W-What did I do!?" Gohan asked.

"There's protests all over Canterlot over you. They refuse to live among 'a hairless monkey'." The guard said.

It was worse than Gohan thought.

"Who is at the door?" Celestia called.

"It's me! Gohan!" Gohan yelled.

"Please, enter." Celestia said.

The solar guard moved out of the way.

Gohan rushed into the palace, and bowed to Celestia.

Celestia was sitting on her throne.

"What is it, Son Gohan? And why the suitcase?" Celestia asked.

"Please, you have to help me. I lost my home, and for some reason I'm being chased by news reporters!" Gohan said.

"I believe you lost your home due to being a minor, correct?" Celestia asked.

"Y-Yes. But I really need the news reporters to high tail it!" Gohan said.

"That explains your suitcase... I will most likely be unable to shield you from the media. However, many ponies in Canterlot have extreme hatred for you." Celestia said.

"I heard... However, I need your help! I don't want to be praised or hated, I just want to be a regular person here!" Gohan said.

"I'm afraid I will have to address the issue of race after my visit to Mostcow. I will depart now." Celestia said, trotting away.

"B-But what can I do!?" Gohan asked.

"I advise you try to live as a child of a family, maybe with some of your friends. They possess the ability to house a child." Celestia said.

"I cannot help you with the media, and you will have to attend school." Celestia said.

Gohan sighed. "Okay... Safe travels, Princess." He said.

Celestia left.

Gohan ran out of the palace.

Sweet Apple Acres, Apple Orchard

"What? You need a place to stay?" Applejack asked.

"I'm really sorry to ask, but I'm a minor and was kicked out of my home. Please, I'll do as much farmwork as possible." Gohan said, bowing his head.

"I can't deny you're the best worker... The Apple family'll have to discuss over dinner." Applejack said.

"Thanks, at least I have a chance..." Gohan said.

"Anyhow, I have to finish bucking the apples. Want to help?" Applejack asked.

"Sure thing." Gohan said, setting his suitcase down.

"I oughta take that inside for you." Applejack said, attempting to hold Gohan's small suitcase.

"No wait!" Gohan said.

Applejack tried to carry the suitcase with all her might, and got it a few inches off the ground.

She dropped it soon after.

"What's in there!?" Applejack asked.

"Clothes and money." Gohan said.

"What, do you have weighted clothes or something?" Applejack asked.

"Uh... Yes." Gohan said, removing a single wristband. "Try holding this." He said.

Gohan tossed the wristband onto Applejack's hoof.

Applejack was capable of holding it, but it was difficult. "W-What's this, 10 kilos?" She asked.

"15, actually." Gohan said.

Applejack handed the wristband back to Gohan.

"That's heavy, how heavy's that shirt there?" Applejack asked.

"...One hundred." Gohan said.

A silence passed.

"WHAT!?" Applejack yelled as loudly as she could.

"S-Shh!" Gohan said, trying to calm Applejack down.

"H-How!?" Applejack asked.

"I asked Rarity for heavier clothes than my dad's." Gohan said.

"No, I mean... How are you moving around in that!?" Applejack asked, pointing a hoof at Gohan.

"Well, the boots are 150 each. Doing the math, we have 430 kilos." Gohan said.

"I-I don't know anypony who can even stand with that... Let alone walk..." Applejack said.

"It's nothing, really." Gohan said.

"Y-You're really amazing, defeating Discord like that..." Applejack said.

"I wish nobody would talk about that... Everyone knows or can know I did it..." Gohan said.

"Anyhow, let's clear this orchard." Applejack said.

"Oh, I'll get that." Gohan said, slamming the ground with his fist.

In an instant, every apple on every tree fell into the buckets.

Applejack's mouth was agape.

"Oh man, I did it again!" Gohan said.

"Gohan, lad. You have a very large chance of coming into the Apple family..." Applejack said.

"I shouldn't have- Wait, what?" Gohan asked.

"You did this before... Didn't you?" Applejack asked.

"I-I passed it off as you taking a while inside..." Gohan said.

"I'm getting to know you better and better, Gohan." Applejack said.

"Alright... C-Can I leave my suitcase somewhere?" Gohan asked.

"I-I'll take you inside..." Applejack said, trotting inside.
