"There we go, Angel. Nice and clean." Fluttershy was bathing her pet bunny, who was putting up a nasty fight. "I know you don't like getting baths, but you were awfully filthy... please, just hold still..." She gently lifted the bunny out of the wooden washtub and wrapped him in a towel while receiving a glare from her beloved pet.

There was a knock at the cottage's door, and she went to answer it while holding the towel-wrapped bunny in her right wing. She opened the door, and was greeted by the sight of Pinkie Pie. The pink mare was bouncing on an oversized beach ball while playing an accordion to the tune of her 'Smile' song. "HI FLUTTERSHY!"
"Hello Pinkie. Is this a party invitation?"
"NOPE, I'M JUST SAYING HELLO! CAN I COME IN?"
"Normally I would say yes-"
"THANKS!"

Pinkie just rushed in, beach ball and everything. "P-Pinkie no! It's nap time for my animals!"
"WHAT WAS THAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER MY ACCORDION!" Both the instruments and her shouts woke up the sleeping creatures, and they ranged from a bear to several small rodents and birds.

They ran around in a tizzy, knocking over furniture and scaring Angel in the process. He leaped out of the towel and landed on the floor, running up the stairs in panic. "A-Angel come back! You're still wet! You'll freeze!" Too late. He was off hiding somewhere. "Oh Pinkie..." Fluttershy tried but failed to keep the annoyed tone out of her voice, sighing while closing her turquoise orbs. "Pinkie Pie, I was about to say that I couldn't let you in right now and this is why."
"SORRY FLUTTERSHY I GOT A BIT CARRIED AWAY! NO WORRIES, I'LL GO GET ANGEL BACK FOR YOU!"
"Oh no that's quite alright-"

Fluttershy was once again interrupted by Pinkie Pie, who zoomed up the stairs in search of the rabbit. "HEY ANGEL! THIS ISN'T HIDE N' SEEK! COME ON OUT!" Angel, meanwhile, was hiding underneath Fluttershy's bed while shivering. "ANGEL", said Pinkie as she pulled a carrot out of nowhere, "LOOK WHAT I GOT!"

Seeing the vegetable immediately changed the evil cute rabbit's mind, who darted out, jumped up, and clamped their tiny mouth around the carrot and hanged there. "YAY! I WIN!" She took off running, poor Angel just managing to keep their jaw clamped down so they didn't fall.

Pinkie Pie bounded towards Fluttershy, and dropped Angel onto her back after she came to a screeching halt. "THAT WAS FUN! WANNA GO AGAIN, ANGEL?!" Angel rapidly shook his head in protest and hid inside of Fluttershy's pink mane. "AW OKAY. I GOTTA GO ANYWAYS TO HI TO MY OTHER FRIENDS! BYE NOW!"

And so she left, leaving the door wide open. The animals, still running around wildly, took this opportunity and ran out towards the town, and panic from both them everypony else imminent. "Oh Pinkie Pie... don't worry Angel, we'll fix this." She set out after the animals, begging to please stop and calm down.

"Ugh, I don't see her anywhere", moaned Twilight as she continued her aerial search. Just when she was about to lose hope, she saw what appeared to be a bear causing an uproar near the marketplace. "What in the world?" She landed, and went to investigate. Several stalls were knocked over with their wares spilling out onto the grassy ground, and many salesponies were panicking.
"It's a bear!"
"Everypony run!"
"It's gonna eat us all!"
"Mr. Bear, please calm down... you're causing such a fuss..."

Twilight recognized that last voice. Fluttershy was hovering a few feet away from the rampaging bear, doing her best to soothe the animal. "Fluttershy, what's going on?!"
"Mr. Bear got woken up from his afternoon nap, so he's all scared, confused and grumpy... he won't listen to me."
"Let me guess- Pinkie Pie did this?"
"Yes, but I'm sure she didn't mean to... but she did help me catch Angel."
"Do you know where she went?"
"I don't think so..."
"Figures. Now, about this bear..."

A magical aura surrounded her horn, and she used a telekinesis spell to lift the animal and hold it in place. She wasn't used to lifting anything heavy, so sweat droplets appeared on her brow and her legs trembled a bit. The bear, confused, went still and looked around in a daze. "Okay Fluttershy. I got him still, so maybe he'll listen now."
"Hello Mr. Bear. Please stop destroying Ponyville. You're just tired and need to go back to sleep, okay?" She petted the animal on the head lightly while giving a patient smile. The bear teared up and made a noise that was apparently an apology, and Fluttershy said she forgave him.

Twilight put the bear down, and the bear made its way to back to the cottage to resume their nap. "Thank you Twilight, but I'm afraid there's more animals to go..."
"Seriously? How many?"
"Let's see... a couple deer, five squirrels, some birds, and a timberwolf."
"A TIMBERWOLF?! ARE YOU NUTS?!"
"Well he was injured and so tired-"
"Oh nevermind... Okay, I'll help round them up so Ponyville doesn't get destroyed. I'll keep them in place while you do your... 'calm down' thingy. Alright?"
"That sounds lovely."

Several long, stressful hours passed. She and Fluttershy searched high and low for the animals, and the hardest part was catching them. They found the Timberwolf last, and, despite Fluttershy's protests, Twilight used her magic to put it back in the Everfree Forest. "Please tell me that's the last of them..." Twilight was tired beyond belief, her limbs aching. "Yes, I think so. Thank you so much. I couldn't have done it without you."

Now that the animal issue had been dealt with, there came the matter of finding Pinkie Pie. Twilight was worried, because during all those hours she hadn't seen head nor tail of the pink pony, and that was scary. Who knew where she was or what she was up to by now.

Eventually, she found a trail of confetti and party supplies, and it looked like it lead to Sweet Apple Acres. "Pinkie. It has to be." Twilight spread her tired, sore wings and sped down the trail, determined to catch Pinkie and put an end to all this terror.

And here we are, the end of the third chapter. Wow, if I keep going like this this'll be the longest MLP story I have on this site so far.
I don't know when I'll finish chapter 4, so just hold your horses. (see what I did there?)

I am open to ideas at this point, so if you have any suggestions I'll consider them by either adding them into the story or using them for inspiration if they're good.
