Amber Moon Part 2

It got dark when Alessio reached the main gate of his house. There were four guards, two lunar and the other two solar, the quartet salute him. Alessio returned the salute as the solar guards gave way to the duties of the lunar guards.

He entered the house, Alessio kissed the maids, the dragonesses and the diamond dogs, he smiled warmly seeing his little Moonlight asleep in the safe and affectionate arms of the diamond dog Heidi. he placed a tender kiss on his daughter's head, before heading towards Luna's office.
He knocked on the door to see Luna deep in paperwork.

Luna's expression seemed ready to explode as the document she read made her feel sick, she raised her head and saw her beloved Alessio and still gave him a warm smile.

"Alessio." she said, happy to see her lover back and looking deadly serious.

"You have a moment, honey." he asked her sharply, normally he would make a joke about disturbing her from the joy of paperwork, but for what was on his mind and what was important to do, he wanted to get to the point.

"Oh, sure," Luna say as she takes off her reading glasses, using her index and thumb she rub up the bridge muzzle between her eyes, from today’s reports.

Alessio looked at the piles of paperwork and the reports, since Luna moved to Ponyville, the amount of paperwork received hadn't been seen so many, considering that at first Princess Celestia had given her a hand and now they divided themselves as they did before day and night paperwork. With sometimes even Chrysalis gave her both help contribution, before she had gone since the last time she heard from Luna, in a community of ponies, very far from Canterlot. and speaking to Chrysalis, she for example recently is at the Crystal Empire in find Shining Armor and Cadence.

He knew that Princess Celestia, Luna, take care of all the paperwork in Equestria, but it only takes them two or three hours to complete a week's worth of signing and approval work. This was somehow different from the other times.

“So let me guess some asshole stud paid a lawyer to give you all this so you can miss your due date on Monday, correct?”, Alessio asked, assuming but very sure that this too, had to be the work of the Amber's biological father.

Luna was surprised that he already knew and wondered how. Since the morning, she hadn't told him what was happening and after going to day court that day, at the end she was approached by a lawyer she didn't know and who gave her all this paperwork.
She didn't want to rush everything, the paperwork needed to be carefully examined, but the despicable lawyer showed her the book of rules that a sovereign must follow as well as the case, it had to do with the honor of the royal family and of the Royal Guards, as a royal night guard had dishonored his duty.

As much as doing the paperwork was never a joy to do, Luna like her sister Celestia, would never refuse, they knew it had to be done, and it wasn't because they would be putting a strain on the credibility of princesses if they refused. Because the flaws could well be hidden in the paperwork.

"You already know... But how?. It doesn't matter, I guess you're not here just to see how my day went." she stated looking at him.

“Yes beyond that. Listen Luna, do you remember when I told you that when I was ready, I would tell you?. And yes, I'm ready. What is the right thing to do then. Please tell me what to do." Alessio said holding his gaze.

Luna's eyes widened as she looked at him; 'I'm ready', she insinuated that she had been waiting for this day to come, she quickly composed herself, "my beloved Alessio, love... You are really asking..."

"Yes I am. So. What exactly do I have to do to become a king." he said resolutely.

Although in recent years, Alessio preferred to remain an ordinary person, he had refused the crown, only because he did not feel ready for such a radical change in his life and he had explained this to Luna and the day in which he would accept the crown had finally arrived . He knew he had to do it and that he no longer had to run away from a choice and accept it as he had to.

Luna was left speechless by what Alessio just told her. For so long, when they met, loved each other, she wanted to give him the happiness he showed her. After Moonlight was born, she felt that she wanted someone to rule beside her under her moon.

Although Alessio had been stubborn in enjoying a normal life, he had explained to her that he was not ready for such an important and radical change in his life with her. Not to give an excuse to the evil-speaking ponies, to think that he was a profiteer.
But she understood that it is a choice, to live one's life freely, even a crown cannot change a person, although it might seem that Alessio wanted to escape from a comfortable life, in reality he wanted to be ready for a change without taking it lightly, and to accept it only when he was truly ready.
Now, with a friend who isn't actually one of the Hero of Equestria's jobs and aforementioned her life in danger, her lover wants to do whatever it takes to save her friend.
Just like her.

“You never cease to amaze me, love.” Luna got up from her seat and approached Alessio, then brought him into a loving kiss.

"So... How do I become king? I guess it won't be at all, as easy a thing as it might seem." he said, looking into her blueish green eyes, placing his hands on hers.

Luna looked back, staring into her lover's grey-green eyes, one thing she liked about Alessio was that he was smart and had a quick analytical mind, "Well... on the contrary, it's not quite simple, even if it's as easy then as you think. But the fact that you thought it wasn't easy makes you take it seriously." she said with a smirk, she moved aside and walked towards the desk, her horn glowed dimly and teleported a large black box on her desk, as she took out a silver key that she kept in her pocket.

Alessio looked at her from behind her, with sincere curiosity, although every now and then he had to tilt her body to be able to continue seeing due to Luna's ethereal flowing mane obstructing his view.

“You see, a stallion to be king. He can become one in two ways. One: because he is considered worthy of governing alongside us." Luna she began to explain.

Then, using her magic, Luna materializes another silver key and opens it it with both keys. “The second is; one is to bear a foal with one of us doesn't matter of which though.”

Alessio simply nodded. He stared at her as Luna took out two documents and gave them to him. He examined the first one she saw which was a report written about him by the princesses of Equestria.

Speaking of the document, there was writing on it, in handwriting similar to the replies to the letters Twilight received from Princess Celestia.

Since his mysterious arrival in Equestria, Alessio has proven himself to be a strong and kind-hearted stallion towards all races and species of Equestria. He also turned out to be a devoted citizen of Equestria and, with the latest events that have occurred, such as the attack of hostile Changelings, he has given his contribution in saving the Empire Crystal. It should be noted that he is also now a loyal hero of his new homeland. Even if he is a different creature not from Equestria.
He saved the former Changeling Princess Chrysalis and the former ruler of the Crystal Empire, Queen Umbra, from from dark corruption.
According to the letters received by Twilight Sparkle, Alessio has demonstrated have good skill to leadership and courage in leading an army as well as in leading a country, quick wit on multiple occasions. Like those mentioned above.

Alessio read about it as the document went on to go into detail about the following occasions, but I guess most of it is what the remaining document to read stated about him. When he got to the bottom of the document he saw and read all the princesses' signatures.

Luna knew the contents of the document by heart but was still rereading it over his shoulder. She could see his expression turn surprised as he was reading the document. Alessio felt her soft breasts pressing against his back, while he looked at the other document he knew all too well. It was Moonlight's birth certificate.

The aforementioned certificate bore his signature and that of Luna and since the latter is an alicorn she is actually the next heir to the throne.

“As you can see by law… you are fit to be a king,” Luna she smiles as the documents Alessio he read were of great important.

Looking up from the documents he had just finished reading, Alessio to look at her, "So, if that's the case what should I do then?." he asked.

“Now all you have to do is sign this,” she pulls out a stack of documents and hands them to him.

Alessio looked at enough documents to fill half the dossier. Examining them, he read that the above were rules and regulations for governing Equestria. Mostly it's simple as they were in modern times. Looking at each document, he quickly realized that several pages needed to be signed.

"Rightly the signing part is part of the way to become king, like any legal document." Alessio reflected, looking up from the stack of documents to Luna and then back at the documents.
He sat down in the chair, began to carefully read each document, including the different small print parts.

He had a brief moment of tension, as soon as he finished signing, his life would change. This may affect his livelihood or his current position. He had already taken risks and risked his life several times.

He knew the risks and didn't care. Trusting his instincts and iron determination as always. He pushed away that tension, thinking that what he thought made the decision he came up with more difficult and, in reality, he knew exactly what to do. He was determined that he was ready and he was ready!. He just had to do the one thing to complete the circle.

Taking Luna's fountain pen, Alessio signed all the documents on all the empty signature boxes. With the last signature, he cap the pen back and looks at Luna. "Here it is." he said.

Luna was grinning from ear to ear, she bounced up and down while letting out a little squeal, she stopped at how embarrassing what she had just done was, but quickly regained her composure, she cleared her throat but the electrified smile remained.

"I'm so lucky", she thought. Happy that she now officially had her beloved Alessio as her royal companion not only for her life. she felt her heart beating as fast as ever, as if she were a teenager on her first date. her emotional tears made her eyes watery.
Alessio took her hand, looking at her worriedly, but before he could say anything, Luna kissed him lovingly, immediately blocking all his worries. When she separated hers lips from his. For a moment he couldn't speak. Her beauty, her personality, her bearing, her grace never ceased to amaze him. Finally looking into her blueish green eyes, he said to her: "Sorry for making you wait so long for this decision of mine Luna. I am the man, the happiest human in Equestria. And I always am that will be worth the same with or without a crown to prove it."

Luna smiled at him and looked away blushing as she grabbed the documents. When she looked back at him she told him in a solemn tone but she felt the affection and love. "Now Alessio officially. You are the King of the Night." she giggled.

Alessio nodded, smiled soft, then looked away. "Well. I assume it will include the procedure of placing the royal sword on both my shoulders, according to tradition?." he asked assuming that was the case, remembering what happened after the salvation of the Crystal Empire, where he, the mane six and Spike and his friends, were made the title of Knights protectors of Equestria of the Empire of Crystals.

“Yes, It's correct. I’ll these send to my sister. She and I will have to set a day when you will be knighted as our king. But officially you're a king, only not many people know it yet." She puts the documents away and rummages through the box again.

“So, since I'm a king now. Tell me, how can I save Amber Moon now?.” He asked because he knows nothing about being a king.

Luna giggled. “Well, first of all, I must officially give you the royal items that a king must carry wherever he goes.” she said as she takes out of the box one objects hidden from Alessio's sight, she closes the box and displays the aforementioned objects on top.

The first item was a round badge the size of a medallion, it had a unique decorative appearance with a moon-shaped pattern made of gold and onyx.
When Luna handed it to Alessio in his palm, he immediately noticed with surprise that it weighed almost nothing.

“That special badge is called the King’s Moon. With this badge it symbolizes your right to rule over. Special event’s, caterings, or anything you wish to enter you can show them this and the guards will let you in without problem. And, it also used just in case you were put in a situation you weren't supposed to be in.” Luna she explained to him and she couldn't help but giggle.

Because she remembered that their mother had once told her and Celestia, that their father had, in fact, almost gotten arrested once because her father was in the wrong place at the wrong time in a fight, and the badge he had gotten out of trouble, because he had done nothing in the fight, he doesn't want to reveal his disguise for having entered a city festival out of curiosity.

Alessio nodded, put the badge in the inside pocket of his jacket and looked at Luna, smiled. "Thanks Luna."

Then he came closer, then he caressed her cheek, took her in his arms and kissed her. Luna giggles as her lover hold her tight in the kiss, which then turned passionate. The kiss lasts only a few seconds but for them it seemed interminable, before they separated their lips, they let themselves go for some air.

"So, is that all for now? Is there anything else?." he asked looking into her eyes.

Luna stared back, "Actually you have something else." she said as she touches the box because she hasn't forgotten the last piece that a king must have. She opens the box one more time and takes out the last piece Alessio needs to be king.

Alessio stares at Luna, while she takes what used to be clothes out of the box and shows them to him. He was amazed to see what they looked like, but he had a very important question to ask her.

"I just have one very important question, Luna." Alessio said. “Don't tell me I won't have to wear it every day, I hope?.” He asked as looked at her, perplexed.

"Don't worry, you'll only have to wear it to private parties and special royal gatherings." Luna replied in a clear and firm voice.

“I find that very, very reassuring.” Alessio retorted.

“I promise you honey I wouldn't make you to do this unless it's really important.” Luna said with a smile.

He looked at the time darkly, it was nine in the evening. Amber Moon's trial was on Monday at nine in the morning, they had almost twenty-four hours to help her win the trial.

Alessio told her about Amber Moon's situation, which Luna had been informed of, with the exception of the details he explained to her from Amber Moon's words about her biological father and the other testimonies of other attacks Amber allegedly made on other colleagues royal guards who had made unseemly sexist comments.
Luna frowned and told him that those actual testimonies only came, by coincidence, after the stallion reported Amber Moon for attacking him in cold blood.

Alessio and Luna managed to grasp that it could not just be a coincidence of Amber's testimonies of past aggression towards some fellow stallion royal guards.

"I believe and am sure that when Amber's father sent a letter to the royal guards to report her for assault, immediately afterwards he somehow obtained information of Amber's other fights with disrespectful and discriminatory colleagues, given the possibility that he has some acquaintances It's a viable theory." Alessio concluded. "So as to make Amber look like a disgrace and rotten apple of the honorable royal night guards, it is not just a spite, but a humiliation. methodical thought."

Luna frowned harshly. "I will be able to launch an investigation and interrogate those alleged royal guard victims."

From the look Alessio gave her, he had anticipated her, he shook his head. "I thought about it on the way home. But by doing this it's possible that they'll shut down. Or that someone will inform the very person who convinced them to testify falsely and they'll take time until the end of the trial, but if we found evidence that they were paid. Then they will give in and confess everything." he said.

Luna noticed a sly expression on Alessio's face. "You have something in mind? Don't you?" she asked.

"Yes, while we investigate Amber's father, finding out everything we can find out about him. I'll ask that agency in Canterlot I told you about, my friend Blaze Sparks Overdrive, remember?." Alessio he said with a sly grinned.

Luna's eyes widened, she smiled.
He had known about the detective agency since the opening in Canterlot and Alessio had met Blaze Sparks again, since after the music festival.

“The detective agency?. Good idea. I heard that although the agency just opened, they have already had a lot of successes. Do you want to hire them tomorrow?.” She asked.

Alessio looked at the time, "No, I'll go there in person right away. My father and stepfather always told me. The best deals are made when you meet someone face to face. And besides, Blaze Sparks was a daytime royal guard. And I bet that it would be condescending to investigate the royal guards and find out if there is anything illicit."

Luna nodded, leaned towards him, placed her hands on his and grabbed them. "Just try to get back so we can sleep together." she smirked at him.

Alessio looked at her and returned her smile. “I will be back before the last express train, and I will be back as soon as possible.”

"I love you, love." Luna smiled and kissed him.

*Canterlot, former Dressage Hotel.*

Sitting at his hardwood desk, Blaze Sparks Overdrive was reading the latest reports from his investigators on the latest operations that had just concluded and filling out the latest paperwork, ironically memories of when he had been a daytime royal guard came back to him, even though had decided to found the detective agency himself, the stack of paperwork didn't change.

He decided to take a break and got up from his chair, went out of his large office to have a coffee as he would still be there for another couple of hours before going to sleep in the apartment above where he lived with his current wife, Cream Coffee.
That the dark gray unicorn had met at the music festival and had met the human from Equestria, as well as a dear friend of his and who had given him a hand, informing him that the old owner of the former hotel had put the building up for sale, who thanks to his skills as a shrewd business pony and sharp royal guard, had purchased the building for half the selling price.
he passed in front of the marble lobby - under the watchful gaze of his best investigators without distinctions of species and races-, he stopped suddenly when he saw a familiar face pass the entrance hall's.

Alessio crosses the marble lobby with the movements of a panther, always ready to leap. He smiled when he saw his old friends he met during the trip to the Empire Crystal inside some offices on the sides; the light gray unicorn Brilliant Ingenuity and, the teal blue bat pony Night Shield, both had been hired as investigators by Blaze Sparks.

"Alessio, it's nice to see you! Even if it's strange at this time." Blaze Sparks greeted in a baritone voice, looking at the time on the lobby wall clock.

Alessio greeted him and told him that he urgently wanted to talk to him alone. Blaze Sparks didn't miss his friend's serious tone, nodded and led him to two wing chairs in a quiet corner of the room. Alessio told him in detail about Amber Moon's situation and her trial, He willfully overlooked an important part of Amber's kinship with the stud who had accused her of assault. And that although Amber attacked colleagues, they had referred to her with discriminatory and chauvinistic attitudes.

Blaze Sparks turned red in the face. his eyes flamed and his powerful chest swelled to dwarf a minotaur or a yak.

"This is unacceptable!. When I was a royal guard, I had to deal with assholes like that who called themselves guards and wouldn't even accept the idea of royal guard mares. I myself have known and respected royal guard mares who asserted themselves and made a career with honor and respect. The very idea of what you told me, my friend, it makes me sick instantly!"

Alessio looked at him deadly serious, explained his idea and the offer to hire his agency.

Blaze Sparks looked at him with her eyebrows shot so high in surprise. He bared his teeth in a smile. “My detective agency is at your disposal, I will send immediately my best investigators to investigate, do you need anything else?.”

Alessio nodded and asked him for another favor, he had a suspicion and wanted to make sure it wasn't unfounded and finally told him that the compensation would only be from his own pocket, - Alessio did not want to touch the royal treasurer-.
But Blaze Sparks stopped him and surprised him, telling him not to think about it, considering it as a very personal matter as a former royal guard and about the honor to the Royal Guards. But then, he suggest to Alessio, to evaluate the idea with Princess Luna of the possibility of him, a permission to create other new branches of the agency also in other countries of Equestria.

Alessio promised with certainty and a firm handshake that he would do it and, something told him that Luna would accept.
Now he had done everything he could do. All he had to do was take the first express train home and after a night's sleep, he would help Luna find out everything they could do to save Amber Moon from an unfair trial.
But he still had one person to talk to and he could only hope that he was still awake and hope that he could help him.

*Monday morning hour 9:50, in the Canterlot City Hall courtroom. *

It seemed as if time had completely stopped as Amber Moon in her night royal guard outfit with her emblems lunars on the left armor chest and her decorative royal guard hat, stood front of the judge and jury.
Everyone stared at her as her body felt nervous the longer they stared at her harshly. She did her best to keep a straight face, but when she caught a glimpse of her smirking biological bastard father on the prosecutor's desk she couldn't help but grind her teeth at him.

On her defense she was happy her mother and best friends in the guards including Spitfire and even Shining Armor was here for her defense for her trial defense. Shining, out of all the stallions of guards she was more close to any of the male guards in the army. She felt a little better that she had so many ponies here to defend her but it didn't help the feeling of nervousness inside her.

speaking of nervous, the day before, Amber and her mother had seen first a two large, grim-looking stallions who went into the house opposite where they lived, they had almost become paranoid, considering that her bastard biological father, was capable of doing anything to intimidate her to demonstrate that one way or another way, he would have won.

“Amber Moon." a raspy stallion's voice caught her attention, breaking her nervousness. "You are here, in the court for assaulting a member of the royal blood and here in the court of Equestria and you have been found not guilty of your crimes". say the judge named Justice Morality, an older Earth pony stallion with a gray-white mane and thick beard of the same color and a thin eyesglasses, sighs at her as he hands her a stack of papers with all the complaints made against her both during work and out.

"However, after reviewing your legal rights and all your crimes, including several reports that do not correspond to your duty to guard, and the recent addition by the prosecuting attorney that you assaulted your colleagues with the alleged idea that they have offended their illustrious fellow guardsmares, I must say that your chances are slim.” he said.

Amber Moon lowers her head and ears in despair, her life completely ruined and the bastard is going to win with the help of some other asshole studs who deserved a couple of punches for their sexist comments. Her family and friends all watch in horror as she might lose her job forever. Her mother Jade Emerald can always help her find another.

But Jade Emerald she feared her ex-husband, would take her away after winning to pay the damages and, the mother's thought of seeing her turn into a broken mare is a mother’s worst fear.

With another sigh, Judge Justice Morality puts the papers aside. "By decree of Equestria and the royal guards, I'm sorry to say, but Amber Moon are you-" he was suddenly cut off as the courtroom doors bang open.

"Wait a moment!" shouted the familiar yet thundering regal voice of Canterlot across the courtroom.

All the ponies present jumped in surprise at the sudden slamming of the doors and the cry in Canterlot's regal voice, but they all managed to turn towards the doors. Of all the ponies, Amber Moon was the most shocked as she headed towards the courtroom. Princess Luna.

Luna wore a different calf-length deep blue royal gown, she wore her favorite royal tiara on her head this time in dark silver, onyx and obsidian, but her royal bracelets were not the usual onyx and obsidian ones she usually wore, but also they are dark silver with onyx and obsidian inserts and a moon-shaped necklace around the neck.
All the ponies were amazed at how beautiful the princess of the night looked in that dress, but that's not the only thing that surprised them. Beyond the Night Princess's expression was one of resolute determination. Another person was walking through the door, Alessio.

Alessio entered the courtroom, accompanied by the two burly court guards.

He showed off his royal clothes. the aforementioned special dress the color of the deepest night, the inside black, dark silver on the hems and in some parts it had Luna's cutiemark on it. Although as a simple precaution as well as suggestion, Alessio decided to wear armor, including the blades hidden by wrists, of which, Alessio, made parts of the forearm armor appear harmless, he kept his hands at his sides and the cloak of the same color as his dress that covered his body, hanging from his right shoulder, and the hood is now lowered. Although he didn't wear an actual royal crown, Luna had him wear a silver and onyx headdress.

The two guards who accompanied him stood close to him but without touching him. Only then did all the ponies present notice that one of the guards was holding a bloody handkerchief to his muzzle. The other had a conspicuous black eye.

"I see, you wasted no time in starting the process, I had to be there." Luna said in a acrimonious tone.

Judge Justice Morality turned his gaze on Princess Luna. “With all due respect and my humble apologies, Your Highness was late and we began the trial without you.” he said.

Luna nodded slowly, "Understandable. But we have a good reason for our delay. I must add that the guards at the gates, despite the request to enter and that I was expected, did not want to let us pass, or rather, they wanted to let only me pass. " she added, maintaining her acrimonious tone.

"But after speaking to them aside, clarifying the situation, they calmly let me pass. In this regard. Judge, I ask you to be patient just one more minute." Alessio said.

Then he turned to the guard who had his handkerchief over his muzzle. "What's your name?."

"Conclave Gate." the guard replied in an acrimonious tone.

Alessio gave him back the bunch of keys and the truncheon, and said, with barely contained anger. "Conclave Gate, next time someone, whether royal or not, wants to urgently, urgently speak to the judge and offers to follow you without making a fuss, give him the benefit of the doubt on his word or ask your colleague to keep an eye on him while you go and inform the judge. And think twice before insulting someone, if you think he can't come in, when someone else said he could come in."
Then he turned to the other with a black eye. "And you?".

"Logical Ideals." replied the stallion.

Alessio's eyes became a softer grey-green, his lips parted in a good-natured smile. He took a couple of gold bits from a pocket hidden inside his belt, while he removed and returned the handcuffs to his palm. "There, Logical Ideals. You're a good guard, but I would advise you to study the rules and procedures carefully. Buy yourself something to drink and put some ice on that eye."

The guards nodded. "Thank you, Your Majesty. We apologize again, for the trouble caused. We had no idea." they said sincerely sorry.

The guards obeyed and once the doors closed, Alessio turned his attention to the judge, jury and all the ponies present. "I'd say we can continue." he said.

The fact that Alessio and Luna knew that, it's not a fair trial at all.
Throughout the previous day and in the last hour, after doing some digging, He and Luna had discovered that not only was part of the jury paid and that several pieces of evidence were actually false and for this, it made the blood boil of both.

Alessio and Luna walked forward and stopped next to Amber Moon. The two royals of the night gave a dark, accusatory look as they looked at the judge and jury.

"This trial is unfair and the evidence has been tampered with to the detriment of the accused! And we have the evidence to prove it!." Alessio calm coldly told the judge.

The prosecuting attorney gave his client a fleeting glance, then stood up, placing both hands on the bench. "Objection! Judge!. The trial has already come to an end and I ask that this alleged evidence not be admitted or even recorded! as it is inadmissible". exclaimed the bat pony.

"The judge has not issued the sentence. Besides, the trial is not over, even a novice lawyer knows, that an alleged person like you." Alessio said in a resolute tone, shooting a penetrating look at the prosecuting lawyer.

"But how do you-" shouted the despicable lawyer indignantly, spreading his wings.

"Order in the courtroom!." exclaimed the judge, banging his gavel. "However, it is correct. The trial is not yet concluded, however your request to hear the new evidence is rejected." he said, turning to the prosecuting lawyer.

Luna looked at the judge solemnly. "I apologize for our such sudden intrusion, but after hearing one of the best captains in Equestria, be made a fool of like this." She then turns to the stud on the prosecutor's desk. A deep growl echoed within her as he stared with a piercing gaze into her eyes.
“We knew this court needed to hear what we have to say and the evidence to show.”

Alessio followed Luna's gaze towards the prosecutor's stallion. Next to the bat pony lawyer, there was another bat pony who was sitting and staring with annoyance at the situation.

The bat pony well dressed in a dark gray three piece suit with a yellow ocher bow tie to match his amber eyes, already highlighted by the clear eyeglasses with yellow lenses he was wearing, his short magenta mane slicked back and short tail, a goatee and magenta shorts seemed to tremble as he kept his jaw clenched in anger and tried not to show it.

From what Alessio had learned from Luna. The stallion she knew to be named Vein Aquifer.

Vein Aquifer, the general manager of the Aquifer water distillery rich Vein one of the large ones in all of Equestria. the company were responsible for making sure all of Equestria had clean drinking water. However, Alessio and Luna, after examining some documents carefully acquired from a local source, as well as obtaining others from the help of his sister through sources known only to Luna, it was proven that stallion is far from innocent.

For what Alessio also learned from this stud, he found out something dirty including that he was just Amber Moon's father. he found out from the other adepts of his mentor Medal of Valor, and that Vein Aquifer was not only the father of Amber Moon, but also the father of 7 other fillies that he abandoned with their mothers at birth.
Because of his employment, none of the mothers, including Amber's, could fight for child support without losing their foals. One of her did, but she failed miserably and she had to move to another city so as not to lose her filly.
Alessio frowned darkly, what he had discovered further confirmed what Amber had told him, that her biological father had only abandoned her because he didn't want a filly.

The Judge Justice Morality was a little puzzled about what was happening right now, but frowning, he wondered what the princess of the night meant by tampering with evidence and wanted to see with his own eyes what exactly she was referring to. "Okay, please show us this evidence that you believe there is tampering, then." he said without going unbalanced.

Luna and Alessio nodded and approached the judge's bench. Alessio and Luna reached into a bag they had brought with them and pulled out several documents, all relating to Amber.
“These are actual reports, including reports that Amber Moon was assigned to guard several areas during the time of the aggression.” Luna said as she handed over the documents.

"And speaking of aggression." he handed over more documents, "Here is more evidence, regarding the alleged other indictments, that you will find interesting." Alessio said.

While Judge Justice Morality examined both documents that Alessio and Luna gave him.

Alessio turned his gaze to the prosecutor and Vein Aquifer. He noted with satisfaction and smirked, the worried expression spreading across his face as he seemed to whisper something to the lawyer and, the said, had lost his despicable smirk and whispered back to his client with visible, poorly concealed agitation.

The judge Justice Morality, carefully examined each document ensuring that every printout and signature complied with the law. Looking at each document, he examined the first one he had just received and found several anomalies that did not correspond at all to the second report. Looking carefully at the signatures, he frowned more and more darkly, he takes off his eyeglasses, because he can no longer read. For so long working in the criminal justice system, never had he ever seen so much corruption in a case before now. Ever! He immediately realized that this case seemed like something more than just an assault charge and a part of him feared what else would happen when he asked more questions regarding this case.

Putting his eyeglasses back on his face, the judge clasped his hands on the bench and turned to Princess Luna and Alessio. “Are there any other files I should look at before I can give my verdict?” he asked calmly.

"Yes, judge." Alessio and Luna said, both of them reached into the bag with them again, both of them took out several important documents and handed them over to the judge.

“These files date back several years, when Vein Aquifer was believed to be responsible for an outbreak in a small town near the Everfree Forest on the west side.” Alessio said frowning and his voice was deadly serious.

The prosecuting attorney placed his hands on the bench. "This is an outrage! Judge! My respectable client expressed his condolences for the unfortunate victims of that tragedy. But his company Aquifer water distillery rich Vein was ultimately found not guilty and not responsible for the happened." he said.

Alessio grinned, looking at the prosecuting attorney and Vein Aquifer. "At least until now. Recently the renowned detective agency Blaze Sparks decided to open a new investigation in this regard and carried out investigations on behalf of the nearby community and, as the judge will see written in the documents. It was discovered that the agency of your client, never replaced the water purification filters, and not only that, it also changed the maintenance documents. What else will they be able to discover as we speak, in collaboration with the Royal Guards." he said, his voice so cold it seemed come from inside a tomb.

"Collaboration I would add, to which my sister Princess Celestia and I gave the consent and full collaborative assistance of the royal guards in the investigation, with excellent results." Luna said with a smirk.

Alessio had already read the second document, which the outbreak had occurred, which occurred, a couple of years earlier before his arrival in Equestria and Princess Luna's return.
The epidemic had occurred during the summer in a small village near the forest. Where local reports said a bacterial infection occurred and several residents fell ill get sick and died. How it started is unknown…. Until now. How documents have been classified by someone is classified.
It was true, that recently the detective agency of his friend Blaze Sparks had been hired by a community of surviving ponies who wanted to find the truth and who suspected that someone had hidden the truth.

"From what I am reading in these documents. The two royal guards who had accused of aggravated assault for trivial reasons by the accused Amber Moon, are still in custody as a result of an arrest operation by the investigative agency and in collaboration with Royal Guards and, both guards, it didn't take them long to realize the situation they were in and they blurted out that they had been paid to test-" the judge said frowning as he read the said document and, he gave a penetrating look to Vein Aquifer. "Right from your client, lawyer." he added.

Vein Aquifer clenched his fists in anger, but no matter how hard he tried to maintain a resolute expression, he was sweating nervously and glared at his lawyer, who sat down, not saying anything other than faintly. "There must be a mistake." he said more as an apology than a statement.

"There is one more document. I better, they are several documents, which I gave to the judge, they are actually birth certificates of several fillies that are biologically his." Alessio said, causing several gasps from all the ponies present.

Slowly moving a hand towards his trousers pocket, where neatly folded in the pocket was a document that he chose to save for later.
Apparently, it seems that Vein Aquifer got what he wanted for a long time and preferred to show it to him once he did.

The entire courtroom quickly erupted into several loud conversations, and several murmurs spread throughout the courtroom.

"Order in the courtroom! Order in the courtroom!." thundered the judge Justice Morality bangs the gavel on the bench with such force, it would be a miracle if the aforementioned gavel hadn't broken.

There was a knock on the doors, the judge sighed and said to come in. The doors opened and a pair of royal guards entered, accompanied by the two guards who were at the doors. Conclave Gate, he went straight towards the judge, while his colleague Logical Ideals, he murmured something to the royal guards who nodded and went to get two of the jury, arresting them on charges of corruption, contempt of justice.

The judge Justice Morality he turned red in the face with anger, finding out that two members of the jury had been paid infuriated him, plus the documents that Princess Luna and the human, had given to him had already made him even more nervous. He said that the trial would continue, as the law of Equestria requires; if a number of jurors is reduced, the trial is not cancelled.

Alessio couldn't hide his surprise at hearing this new information about Equestria, or rather how the justice system works. He made a mental note to read up more in the future. And he looked at the judge fearing that he might have a heart attack.

Speaking of the judge, he quickly regained his composure and continued to read the documents, taking as long as he needed to read. he felt anger burning in his chest from what he was reading. He occasionally glanced up at the signed documents and looked back at a rather nervous Vein Aquifer.

Justice Morality sighed, placing the stack of documents in front of him. Estimating that the next trial to be exercised will perhaps take place in a week. “Princess, I understand tha-“ he said.

"I'm not a princess anymore." Luna she makes it clear. “My lover Alessio and I are now and forever. The King and Queen of the Night.”

The judge, the jury, all the ponies present in the courtroom, remained speechless at what they had just heard the princess, the new queen of the night was said.

Never in Equestria has there been a King and Queen in over a thousand years, and the fact that one was announced to the court and in defense of a captain of the Royal Guards would go down in history.

Amber Moon couldn't believe what was happening right now, out of everything that was happening this was far more than shocking to her.

"I can’t believe…. He did all this…. For me." she couldn't help but shed a tear from how heartwarming this is.

Alessio saw the lone tear and small smile of gratitude appear on Amber's face. He took a breath and stepped forward, looking at the judge and jury, he placed his hands on the bench.

“Your Honor, I understand that the Court of Justice prohibits interruptions against the defendant, however please listen to what I am about to say.” Alessio said in a solemn tone and his height seemed to double.

The prosecuting attorney, after a vigorous forearm squeeze from Vein Aquifer, "I object, your honor! This is a clear interruption of the trial!" he exclaimed.

Alessio gave a penetrating and authoritative look to the bat pony lawyer, who lost his despicable smile as soon as he saw his gaze.

"Rejected." He retorted the judge. "Let's hear what the Night King has to say." he said and turned his gaze to the human king of the night.

"Thank you, Judge. Now, if no one else wants to try to interject. Like I was about to say." Alessio said as he glanced at the prosecuting attorney, who slowly sat back down.

“I would like to clarify that I may not know much about her; of her, her family's livelihood or anything else. But Amber Moon's exploits are the only valid proof you need!" he said.

"This is a formal trial and procedure! What can an monkey like you know!." interrupted the prosecuting lawyer, realizing too late that he had said one word too many. As demonstrated by the grim look that the Queen of the Night Luna was giving him right then and there.
A veritable hornet's nest of murmurs of surprise and dismay broke out in the courtroom.

"No lawyer! This trial is a joke from the beginning! As evidenced by the evidence we showed in Amber Moon's defense." Alessio retorted, pointing to the lawyer with his finger, then turned to the judge and said:

"As we gathered evidence for her defense. I read about Amber Moon's exploits and gathered testimony to further corroborate them! Amber Moon, She are not just a captain of the royal guard. She have saved many ponies from many dangers, risking her life to make sure Equestria was safe from all harm! Even when idiotic nobles got themselves into trouble in their stupid power games or intrigues or were too stupid to act like them!. She was there during the invasion of Canterlot and, if all you don't believe me. I have reliable testimonies of the noble couple with whom together with protected civilians! And she was there in the ambush of the marauding griffins near the border of the Griffin Kingdom! And she defended the image of the royal guards mares from the chauvinistic meanness of their studs colleagues, who harassed their colleagues to push them to leave!." he spoke slowly, but loudly and clearly, looking at everyone present.

Alessio had always had a good memory, almost photographic, he had spent all Sunday and slept little, to obtain all the information he had just said, obtained not only from Luna, many other royal nobles and several guards who spoke about her.

He straightened his back, looked at Amber Moon, gave her a reassuring smile, and then looked back at all the ponies present and said. "Luna trusts her, like the guards she works with trust her. She is not only a good captain of the royal night guard, she is a proud mare who is proud of her royal guard uniform. If they asked me if I was sure I could, would I trust my life to her to protect me? I'd say my trust would be well placed. And I would trust her."

Alessio sighed, now he knew that everything was in the judge's hands.

Judge Justice Morality took off his eyeglasses, rubbed his head, thinking that it was a day that had never happened to him in his life as a criminal judge, slowly he collected all the paperwork, put them back, straightened up in his chair. “I see Amber Moon has a lot of interesting ponies in her defense... Very good. We will continue the process, after a 30 minute break. hearing and suspended. I withdrew to deliberate.” he bangs the gavel, before getting up and leaving the courtroom.

* Ten minutes in hallway to court-room *

Alessio was leaning against the wall, arranging his cloak so as not to ruin it, not even ruining his cloak, he let out an exhausted and satisfied sigh. He was pretty sure that the evidence he and Luna had gathered in Amber Moon's defense was enough, but it was too early to claim victory.

On the other hand, I don't deny that I still feel a little uncomfortable in the role of a royal. With all those eyes of those present staring at him, panting, amazed and amazed, it made him feel a little nervous at first, but that feeling swarmed when he said what he had said in his opinion. "You know Luna. I can't tell you if I'm more nervous hearing the outcome of the trial or because I had all eyes on me or both." he said.

Luna who stood next to him, very close, couldn't help but giggle at how destroyed she was from yesterday and today. From all the information she and him gathered throughout the Sunday night and late into the night, and, from hers presence in court today, she could tell that it was the first time she had him appeared in court and both defended someone. “Yeah, I guess that was too much, huh darling,” she chuckled again before stopping. As several familiar ponies approached the both of them.

Alessio turned in the same direction Luna was looking, he had heard the clatter of hooves and had seen them out of the corner of his eye. Shining Armor and Spitfire approached him and Luna.
The ruler of the Empire Crystal was not wearing his old Canterlot Kingsguard Captain armor or the his Crystal Empire Ruler's royal armor, but a three-piece suit of the same color as his old Kingsguard Captain's armor, with several medals on the left side and a special military cap tucked into the shoulder strap.

Spitfire, too, was wearing not her Wonderbolts flight suit, but a blue three-piece suit with a yellow shirt as if to represent the flight suit's official colors, he had sunglasses hanging from her jacket pocket and had several medals on the left side and she too had a special military cap on the ribbon on her shoulder strap right.

Alessio smiled when he saw them, but stopped when the third figure in the middle kept her head down.

Amber Moon, hesitated to look up at Alessio and Luna, however her face can show that she didn't know what to feel now. Despite all these emotions, she has a feeling that is far above expectations; Unbelief.

“I…. I… I can’t believe it...” she looked up at Alessio and Luna with teary eyes. “You... and pri- princess Luna… came here... To defend me... Why?.” she asked the very question that plagues her during the whole time they arrive during trial.

Alessio and Luna looked at each other, then both explained the whole situation and what happened on Saturday night.

Luna looked at her and began to speak. "I am aware of the situations regarding the night guards, as my sister Princess Celestia has always done before, until my return."
She paused to focus the full intensity of her gaze on Amber Moon.
“And I take it personally when something problematic happens among the royal night guards and, the same goes for my sister to clarify. When I learned what was happening to you and, I asked to do a confidential internal investigation and when I expressed that I would come in person to supervise the trial, doing it as if it were in the night court. But, that bastard Vein Aquifer, sent a lawyer to give me a job to check, which as Alessio and I here discovered, was useless. We had further confirmation that he immediately tried to make me miss the trial and thus the Your trial would have been military justice, but they didn't succeed." she said seriously.

Once Luna had finished speaking, it was Alessio's turn to explain why he was here in court.

Alessio looked at Amber. She held his gaze even though she found it magnetic.

"After the massage, I felt that I had to help you, even if I didn't owe you anything, but I wasn't going to passively accept an injustice going unpunished. So, the only thing to do came to mind, and I was ready to do it. And I finally accepted the crown and I have no regrets about having accepted it. However, in this way, Luna and I were able to carry out research - which unfortunately is confidential and I cannot divulge, as neither can Luna -. Since then Luna and I have received help from several pony and with a full day and night of digging, we had everything we needed to not only for help you, but against Vein Aquifer. Not even bribes or his influences can get him out of this situation."

Amber did not miss Alessio's harsh tone and seeing him from the front, his slightly marked features, aquiline nose and resolute jaw, seemed engraved in steel.

Shining Armor let out a whistle of admiration. “Wow! you two. All this in a single day. I never expected you two to endure so much to save another Captain.” he said was really impressed by the long work Alessio and Luna worked on to save Amber's career.

"We both slept little and drank so much coffee that we then had to stock up. As I said before, we had help from someponies and friends who wanted to give their contribution." Alessio said with a clear voice and a smile.

“Thank you so much for everything, your highness. So I have to ask though how does it feel to be king and queen now?” Spitfire asked with her hands on her wide hips, wondering since there hadn't been a king or queen in centuries or more, so curiosity got the better of her today and now.

Luna put her arm around Alessio and he felt Luna's soft firm big breasts against the sides of his arm. “Well. by Equestria law, Alessio is actually half king. But he won't be full king until we're married.” Luna turns and gives him a kiss on his cheek, near his lips. “But for now we'll put it on hold until all the madness passes.”

Alessio nodded, he agreed with her on this. From today and yesterday it is better to postpone the wedding until later. even though the thought of marriage didn't cross their mind, one day they would decide on their wedding day, when the time was right.

Amber Moon finally managed to smile after the conversation, she turned when she heard her name called and saw her mother Jade Emerald approaching and Amber smiled, she made introductions to the King and Queen of the Night, Alessio and Luna.

Amber Moon's mother; Jade Emerald. She looked like a more mature version of her daughter. Her body has an hourglass figure with a slight curve, wide hips, thick thighs, a huge chest - probably an I-cup - as her turtleneck sweater emphasized it. she was wearing long dark trousers. her mane was dark blue with charcoal gray undertones and her eyes a rare blue by bat pony standards.

"I have no words to thank you. Your Highness. I was starting to lose hope." Amber's mother said in a hoarse voice from her emotion, before her daughter consoled her, smiling she said to her in a reassuring voice:
"Me too, mom. But I feel hopeful that I really have even a minimal chance of winning"

Alessio couldn't help but feel happy to see that smile spread across Amber and her mother Jade faces. Both mares have been through hell, and Amber even more with obstacles in her work and have made it to the top thanks to her hard work and determination.

Then Alessio remembered that it was better to tell Amber and her mother something else, he took a leather notebook out of his pocket. "Amber Moon. You and your mother, have you noticed anything abnormal since yesterday and today too right?".

Amber and her mother Jade pricked up their ears and looked at each other and nodded. Then Amber spoke. "Yes, yesterday I would swear I saw two grim-looking stallions. We were close to paranoia knowing that bastard Vein Aquifer, and the same paranoia this morning, I thought I was being followed but in reality they were a couple and near the court a couple of worker stallions who they did road work on the street lamps.

Alessio looked at Luna who nodded, then Alessio showed both bat pony mares, a drawing of two stallions with grim expressions, even more frightening, they looked like heavyweight boxers who had never lost a match. then two more drawings like those on newspaper posters, which depicted a bat pony and a unicorn and finally another unicorn and a mare.
"Are these by any chance?" he asked calmly.

The two bat pony mares nodded, Amber narrowed her eyes, but saw Alessio close the notebook and put it back in his pocket, smiling.

"The two stallions I showed before look like professional boxers. They are actually investigators that I hired at the Blaze Sparks investigation agency, the same agency that I mentioned that is collaborating in a shared investigation with the royal guards. When one of the two stallions must go out the other remains there on guard. in the last hours they have remained on guard in front of your house, on the house in front of you. The two workers are also undercover investigators who have remained guarding the court while the couple are the owners and chief inspectors of the agency who followed you and escorted you. Do you understand what I'm telling you?".

Amber and her mother Jade's eyes widened. What was paranoia in reality they were stationed there as protection for them.
Amber was about to comment, but Alessio told her that he had done so because although he understood that she was an independent mare and really capable of defending herself and her loved ones. The extra protection had been his own voluntary decision.
As well as requesting additional help in his and Luna's research to help Amber Moon and uncover evidence of Vein Aquifer's corruption. Alessio had asked his friend Sparks Blaze Overdrive to send someone to watch Amber's house for protection and the founder of the detective agency told him that he would not only send investigators but would take care of it himself.

Amber didn't know how to respond, but she sighed and shook her head in disbelief, she felt more respect for Alessio, then something came to her mind and she looked at Luna. "So if you were given so many documents as you say-"
Amber was was cut off as Luna answer that question. She knew she was going to tell her it and waited for it to be asked.

“Beyond Alessio. My sister, my niece Cadence, Chrysalis and even Umbra, helped me with this. They too were surprised by the sudden paperwork and both will conduct a thorough investigation into these so-called 'important documents', found useless” he smiles.

Alessio burst out laughing. “Ah, the Joy of Paperwork.” Then his expression became serious. "But after finishing those 'important documents' in a short time. they helped us. In addition to those who live in the house with us. and I speak also in finding and cataloging everything we discovered as we explained to you before." he said.

Amber chuckled a bit too since the lawyer forgot one minor detail when giving the paper work. Luna isn't the only ruler of Equestria. Then, she looked at Alessio. “And you? How does it feel to be a king now? Semi king exactly?” she asked.

"I don't feel much difference. I will have additional responsibilities that I will help Luna. The only thing is that now, I will have to get used to paying attention to arrogant royals." Alessio said with a shrug and he remained impassive.

Alessio didn't take that possibility for granted, surely after the trial, many royals would want to be his 'friends' after this.

But Alessio knew how to recognize true friends and discover false ones who only seek easy profit or status or privilege. Like Twilight and her friends, the true friendship isn't about money or status, it's about being who you are and standing by them in whatever the world offers.

With a few more minutes of conversation it was time to return to the courtroom.

The moment of truth and the verdict was near.

Alessio can't help but shake the feeling of nervousness about the verdict Amber Moon will get in a few minutes. How he feels about all the hard work he and Luna had done to save her career will be determined by what the judge gives her.
"The worst part is the waiting." Alessio said in a low voice to Luna. who nodded in agreement.

The courtroom filled quickly and Alessio, Luna, Amber Moon, Jade Emerald, Shining Armor, Spitfire, and Amber's defense attorney had waited patiently for the judge to arrive.

Several minutes passed, before Judge Justice Morality finally arrived, a worried expression on Alessio and Luna's faces as he slowly sat down in his seat in front of the court.

He lets out a deep sigh as he adjusts his reading eyeglasses. It was amazing the pile of documents he had set aside that this stud, Vein Aquifer would go to, just to frame a captain.
It's despicable and it disgusted him to even think of letting him get away with it, but now, he had another matter to take care of.
“In my entire life as a judge in criminal justice, I have never seen such vile corruption in my life as a judge. Never! I can't think of all the emotions I feel before this journey. But I will keep that in mind for another trial later. Now, right now my verdict." he said.

This was the moment of verdict. The only thing that will decide Amber Moon's fate in the royal guards. Everyone present on Amber's side held their breath as their hearts pounded for what the judge would give her.

“After careful consideration by me, the defendant, the prosecutor and the Equestria jury. We ourselves hold, the defendant Amber Moon... Not guilty!” he slams the gravel against the bench.

Alessio lets out a loud sigh of relief, he barely hearing Luna's, as euphoric screams of happiness echoed throughout the entire court room.

Amber Moon's mouth opened in amazement, because she couldn't help but shed several tears of joy, she won the trial, and besides she was still in the royal guards.

* Hallway the hall of the courtroom *

“Oh for Celestia!. It was a tough process!” Shining Armor exclaimed and soon after, let out a sigh of relief, at how close they were to losing.

“I can’t believe we won… Against Vein Aquifer.” Spitfire was more surprise then everypony since Vein Aquifer had everything to destroy Amber but instead he lost after a miracle happen.

“Y-yes. I... I can't... I can't believe it..." Amber Moon let out a few more tears of gratitude and joy, before turning her attention to Alessio and Luna. "Thank you... thank you... Thank you both, for everything."

Alessio and Luna you brought Amber Moon into another hug and held her so all the ponies could join them; Shining Armor, Spitfire, Amber's mom, and a few close friends all hold Amber in the middle of the hug.

Everyone gives a small laugh before breaking the hug, Alessio was about to lean against the wall again, before he saw Amber's mother, Jade Emerald walking towards him, and before he could say anything, she hugged him.

“Thank you... Thank you so much, for saving my daughter.” Amber's mother wiped away some tears, she felt so much joy that perhaps she could feel it after so long.

Alessio felt her very soft and huge breasts against his chest and smiled at her. "You don't need to thank me. I don't accept injustice, and I'm just glad happy that we won."

"Yes. And that being said, we both have a proposition for you too." Luna smiled as she put her hand in her pocket.

"Since we wouldn't want this to happen again, we would like you to join our guards in Ponyville." She hands her a small but special badge.

Most guards whether they are solar or lunar, each badge is classified for certain positions. All guards are required to have them whenever they guard and if they want to change positions or take a break they must return the badge to the comrade, their captain as well as bring their badge back.

"You can choose calmly. You don't have to rush before making a decision." Alessio wanted to specify, looking at her.

Amber Moon was very surprised at the proposition Luna and Alessio were offering.

After all Alessio and Luna for her. Amber Moon considered that it would be best to leave Cantelort with her mother, especially after today. She didn't want to go to town because she didn't have the patience to deal with so many problems in one day, and she had never experienced Ponyville before. She always thought it Ponyville, was a quiet town where a few bar fights had ever happened there, nothing more.
And then she thought about being with Alessio and Luna, as their royal guard, she would repay her loyalty after everything they had done for her and, she swore it on her honor as a royal guard.

"Maybe... I need the peace and quiet after this trial, same goes for my mom" she thought sighs a bit. Looking up she smiles. “I think there is no need to think about it further. I accept your offer. Thank you both!.” she said as grabs the badge and salutes to both.

Alessio moved away from the wall, smiled at Amber Moon and held out his hand. "In this case. Let us say to you: Welcome to our guards, Captain Amber Moon. We had understood that you would accept immediately, for that matter. We have everything arranged and ready for your arrival.” he said.

Amber Moon didn't shake his hand, but she bowed respectfully to Alessio, feeling her heart beat faster and her cheeks redden as she said;. "I am pleased and honored to have become part of your royal guards. I promise to protect Alessio's life at the cost of my own if necessary as his personal guard."

Alessio was speechless by what Amber Moon had just said with such emphasis, he looked at her and smile a little, as she looked at him, but at the moment he was about to say something to her.

“Wipe that smirk off your face!” a male voice had shouted with a certain frustration and anger, it sounded from the other side of the corridor behind Alessio.

Alessio turned away, losing his smile as he stared at Vein Aquifer, who tried to destroy Amber Moon's career. Alessio felt his hands itch and had to resist the temptation to punch him in the nose or take away that sinister smile on his face, making him swallow all his teeth and the temptation became stronger as him walks up towards them.

"So... You think it's over... huh?!" Vein Aquifer exclaimed, turning to her.

"It is and get over it, Vein Aquifer. But now, you shouldn't prepare for 'your' trial and, even if from what I have heard, you will have to find another lawyer, as he is also in the register of suspects." Alessio said with a cold tone and a cougar grin, as the judge Justice Morality later sent an investigation on him and a new trial now.

“Be that it must be I’ll be a free stallion.” He then turns to Amber, her mother and formed ex-wife, Jade Emerald and at last Luna. “It’s a very shame though... They choose a vapid, vulgar hairless ape, then, a member of royal blood. What a pitiful piece of garbage.” he said contemptuously.

"Ironic, coming from the same cockroach in front of me who eats it. You insult yourself." Alessio replied with a cold tone and his eyes turned to stone, immediately realizing that he was insulting those who were with him and resisting the temptation to punch him was becoming more and more tempting.

Vein Aquifer turned red in the face with anger, no one had ever dared to offend him so openly. "What did you call me?!".

Alessio now had enough, moving closer until their faces were inches away. He gave him an ultimatum. "Now keep your damn mouth shut and get out of the way or I'll punch you in the nose."

"You can't give me orders, you fucking hairles..."

Alessio held back his punch at the last second so as not to break Vein Aquifer's nose, but the force of the blow was still enough to send him three meters away, where he remained lying on the ground like a pile of rags, ironically there was a metal bucket nearby full of water that spilled onto the floor and onto him, Vein Aquifer presses his hand to his nose.

"I warned you, asshole" said Alessio, not hiding a smirk.

"Guards! Guards!". Vein Aquifer shouted for help, his voice nasal and his hand pressed to his muzzle.

Alessio saw some guards approaching, among which there were also the two from before who had already thrown a punch, but he raised his hand ordering them to stop, which surprised Vein Aquifer who now seemed a little worried.

"The floor is slipping and him is slipping. Please inform the attendants to pay attention or there is a risk that others who are more alert may not slip." Alessio said calmly.

Vein Aquifer growled a bit. While he just stared at him, he gets up and dusts his dress which is no longer ironed and clean, but wrinkled and wet.

Alessio and the others with him, all see a solar lieutenant approaching Vein Aquifer.

“You okay sir.” he asks wondering what happen after he left.

“Yes… I’m fine. Let’s go home.” Vein Aquifer said with a growl.

Alessio stared at Vein Aquifer who walks away with the guard towards the entrance of the court.

“Vein Aquifer,” said Alessio. "I have something to tell you."

Strangely enough for him, Vein Aquifer became alarmed. he should have expected that supposed monkey King of the night to address him directly, but it was still disturbing the icy calm in which he called him now.

"There's something you need to know." Alessio continued.

Once the tension passed, Vein Aquifer frowned as she dismissed the guard, turned and glared at him. The connection between the two was almost palpable.
Alessio's expression radiated resentment, as if he were a circus tiger prodded one time too many. The piercing intensity of his gaze chilled Vein Aquifer's blood.

“I will only say this once,” Alessio said in a tone as cold as fif it came deep from the grave, “And then you will never hear me address you again. You may think you are a genius or have power, Vein Aquifer, but you are not infallible or invincible or untouchable. You have made a huge mistake when you think you are moving the laws of Equestria to your own ends. By getting Amber Moon and her mother into trouble. They are under my protection now, and will be protected as if they were part of the family. Perhaps an ignorant misanthrope like you he doesn't understand the importance of family, but your threats to them, the matter between you and me has become personal. I don't care what advantages you think you have, I promise I will find you. And when I do, you will find out my punishment and immediate and powerful."
Alessio smiled broadly, reminiscent of the grin of a wolf or a demonic one. "Have a good night, Vein Aquifer. It may be the last of your very miserable life."

Vein Aquifer made a hiss-like noise of contempt, stood tall and turned on his heel, glancing contemptuously at his daughter Amber and his ex-wife and finally at the human and walked away.

Alessio chuckled as he watched him walk away. "It was easier than I thought."

But Vein Aquifer wasn't laughing. As much as he tried to take Alessio's words as tough talk and nothing more, for the first time in his life, who always believed he knew how to intimidate someone with words and deeds and that he had the power to do it, he felt truly restless. and he blanched when he realized to his horror, that his wings and hands were shaking.

Alessio stared at him for a few seconds, then once Vein Aquifer disappeared from his sight, he turned to look at Luna.

Speaking of Luna, she approaches him. Her eyes sparkled with mirth, though she hid a smirk. "Honey, I think you would agree with me, that it would be much better if we went and celebrated, Amber Moon's trial victory."

Alessio nodded and smiled. "Yeah, sorry honey. Even if it was worth it to level that asshole's ego." he said as he held out his arm to her.
Luna smiled and took his arm and kissed his cheek, whispering "yes." to him and from the look on everyone's faces they agreed not only with what he said, but also to go somewhere to celebrate this victory.

As he went out with his friends, Alessio frowned thoughtfully, as last night, his mentor Medal of Valor, had told him that he wanted to talk to him when the trial was over and from the way he said it, it seemed very important.

* An hour later *

After an excellent dinner in his home, Alessio offered to host Amber Moon and her mother Jade Emerald for the night, so that the next day they could easily move their things once they found a house in the suburbs of Ponyville.

Amber Moon and her mother accepted her hospitality, however Amber Moon took advantage of a moment in which Alessio was away to go and relax - in reality he had gone to rest, as he hadn't really slept for twenty-four hours -; so Amber she could talk freely with Luna, she said something to her in a low tone and, Luna agreed while addressing her a smug smile and in turn she reply something in an equally low tone which made Amber Moon blush intensely and she nodded shyly, lowering her ears in discomfort.

Having said this Amber got up and left the room, a part of herself wondered who the other roommates were who however had now all gone to rest after almost two intense days of work in helping Alessio and Luna with the paperwork and, in discovering other evidence who helped her exonerate herself and win the trial, she made a point of thanking them personally, exactly as she had already done with the maids.

As she walked along the corridor, Amber was thinking of doing as Alessio's mare friends, also bringers of harmony, suggested. Oh better, to do what that party mare suggested to her and she felt that she would never regret it as to how to 'reward' the king of the night for which. She was started to have a crush on him, after the massage at the spa and their conversation, but she was too busy with her own problems and worries that she didn't believe she actually had a crush on a stud.

Amber Moon arrived at the door she was looking for and knocked lightly. Hearing no response, she knocked harder, but she got the same result. She opened the door. She saw a dim light coming from inside.

"Alessio" he said softly, not using it as his will to be called your highness, "Can I talk to you?."

She crossed the threshold, thinking not to disturb. A dimly lit lamp illuminated half of Luna and Alessio's personal desk. The armchair had been moved away, as if Alessio had gotten up from the desk. The window was closed and the dark blue curtains were drawn aside. And she called to him again as she approached the dim light of his room. Then she saw it. He was lying on the bed on his stomach and before realizing the situation she looked away thinking that he was naked.

When she peeked shyly with a blush on her cheeks and saw that he was wearing a pair of indigo blue boxers that almost blended in with the color of the blankets. For a moment she feared he had passed out or worse, but then his chest heaved with a soft snore and had turned slightly on his side in his sleep.

Amber Moon remembered that Alessio had said that he and Luna had slept little and understood that he was tired.

She thought about leaving the room, but she licked her lip and for the first time took a good look at Alessio's body. Being thin but muscular and athletic, broad shoulders, muscles taut like strings of steel and she wondered if he too had a military background or if he was simply keeping in shape, she knew she would blush under the fur. She noticed that his muscles didn't seem relaxed. In reality no part of Alessio was relaxed. His whole body was tense.

She looked at the scars, and she rightly wondered where those scars came from - and it wasn't one of the ones she finds attractive and a sign of the stereotype of the virile male or the stallion, like many other not very smart mares -, but she felt in him the idea of some pony that he had a life lived and that he was adaptable and reliable, he was a stallion, human who enjoyed and loved life as it was more than anyone else, as demonstrated by the ease with which he was willing to joke with Luna and the others.
She thought that he had the same spirit of adventurers, but at the same time carrying himself on his shoulders to ensure that others had the opportunity to enjoy their own lives just as he had enjoyed his. And he hated injustice very much and would never have accepted it.

Amber hadn't missed Alessio's reaction when Shining Armor had said that he was the hero of Equestria on two occasions. Alessio had looked away and shrugged. She guessed why. Alessio was an inglorious hero, the unsung hero par excellence like the first responders in the event of an accident.

She decided to leave the room, but first placed the royal badge that Luna had given her on the desk top, because Alessio had forgotten to bring it with him for the second time, he still had to get used to such a thing, as he was used to to badges that are more comfortable to wear. This Amber didn't understand to Luna what she was referring to and she passively agreed not to ask.
Amber cursed through gritted teeth when, so focused on her own thoughts, she had placed the royal badge incorrectly and it had fallen to the floor with a dull thud.

Amber looked at Alessio. he hadn't moved. She retrieved the badge and placed it on the desk top, then, she approached the bed , bent down and gave him a light kiss on the cheek, near the lips, resisting the temptation to lie down next to him and give him a nice wake-up call and 'reward him' later.
One more time, now let's let him rest. Amber thought with a smile and she left the room.

As Amber walked away, the door to Alessio and Luna's room opened and he looked around the hallway. The sound of the door opening had woken him up, but he had pretended to be asleep so as not to embarrass Amber. He closed the door, he had slept for a quarter of an hour but he felt rested, as if he had had a power nap, he got dressed with a simple t-shirt and comfortable trousers and left the room to go back downstairs and met his mentor who had come to visit him and whispered to him that he wanted to talk to him in private and that was important.

As he followed his mentor and once stopped, a deep frown spread across Alessio's face as his mentor gave him his first assassination to complete.

* Midnight. Canterlot, Vein Aquifer’s mansion *

The night is quiet; the stars shone brightly like Luna's beautiful moon above all of Equestria. Everything seemed normal, but everything is about to change.

Alessio was perched on the flagpole, staring out at the city of Canterlot like a hawk in search of prey.
His clothing was the same as the one that the Medal of Valor had given him some time ago in the Crystal Empire, the dark color would have camouflaged him at night, the armor was secured and ready, as were his weapons, his wrist blades.
Many emotions ran through his mind. nervous about the idea of possible failure, confident that he had been well trained, even for this, his first 'job'. Loyal because you will get the scum off the streets.
But also a sinking feeling in your stomach, you've never done this before. But he knew it had to be done, he breathed in and felt ready.
He knew your objective; Assassinate Vein Aquifer.

As Medal Valor had recently discovered that Vein Aquifer is associated with something more than the incident with the small village that Alessio had spoken to the court a few hours earlier, and it was true that detective agency Blaze Sparks had reopened an investigation to about but.
The little accident was just the tip of the iceberg. Many other accidents resulting in large numbers of deaths due to contaminated water have also occurred. All of that, and Vein Aquifer had a hand in this.

He felt his chest burning with anger for all those senseless deaths, now he just had to bring a cure to those innocent victims. The elimination of the person responsible. Vein Aquifer.
He had taken gold instead of safety regulations, saving on unsafe filters and who knows on other things.
The idea that he could go to the trial and act as a stage and have him twist that he was just an unknowing victim and, use his influences to be a free pony and get away with it. Never.
He took another deep breath. "It begins."

Alessio took a quick look at his target from the windows, then jumped down and climbed onto the nearby rooftops, running quickly and without making any noise, approaching Vein Aquifer's house.

To get further closer to the house, Alessio made his way by jumping on several beams and managed to climb onto one of the balconies and sneaked into the house.

Now getting through the building without being seen would be the hard part. When he was outside he had seen a few guards patrolling the courtyard and someone entering from an entrance to the courtyard and other doors, but Alessio didn't take it for granted that there had been as many inside. Alessio began to think that Vein Aquifer was a little paranoid because there were so many guards in the house.
When he had hoisted himself onto the balcony and climbed over it, he had heard the sound of footsteps a just a few feet from the balcony entrance, where he was.

Alessio waited for the guard to pass by and disappear from sight, he waited another half minute before moving and making his way into the complex, making sure to keep a certain distance from the windows, in case the various curtains did not provide complete coverage for the eyes outside in the complex, and stay in the dim light, remaining with all his senses alert to hear any suspicious noise.

He had managed to end up in several empty rooms and broom closets, noting that all the furniture was high quality and other expensive stuff, before he heard a noise and spotted one of Vein Aquifer's guards, searching the hallway.
He peeked and was surprised to recognize the lieutenant, it was the same one he had seen earlier in court, helping Vein Aquifer up from the floor. And with some necessary information later obtained from his mentor, he detected that this lieutenant is one of the guards involved in the contaminated water.

Alessio frowned, he was close to Vein Aquifer's room, but the guard was patrolling the area and the risks of being detected became high. He decided to knock him out at the first opportunity.

The guard walks through the dark, moonlit corridor, whistling at how calm and unaware he is of what was about to happen.
Alessio followed him slowly, staying low, gradually approaching the guard, he clenched his fingers into a fist, ready to throw a punch directed at his face with force as if he had held a stone.
But just as he was about to act and strike, the sound of the window suddenly opening made the guard stop, startle, and turn around.
“The tarturas.” she exclaimed, her tone hidden by a brief fright and perplexity.

Barely dodging a bullet, Alessio quickly hides from his target, in the crook of a window and with the curtain covering him. He peeked in and saw the lieutenant's attention was on the open window.

The guard lieutenant sighed with relief. "Damn window. Why don't they make sure to close it properly," he muttered as he closed it and continued his walk. “I was scared to death.” he added and after a few steps, he continues to whistle as he heads towards his room and closes it.

Alessio gasped a little because he had just dodged a bullet and then he looked at the hand that picked up the object on the ground, before hiding, luckily the object was near the window.

He looked at his palm, at the object which was a normal rubber tipped arrow, the same ones he had seen his mentor use to incapacitate his enemies as he had explained to him.

Just like rubber bullets, the tip is made of rubber and can deliver a hard blow when it hits. not lethal, but always depends on the distance thrown, but still capable of causing injuries and fractures.

Then, looking carefully, he noticed a piece of paper tied around it.

Untying the ticket, Alessio put the arrow in the side bag and looked at the ticket.

Don't unsheath your blade. Don't kill Amber's brother

Reading the note, Alessio was amazed by what was written on it. The lieutenant he was about to knock out is actually Vein Aquifer's son and is Amber Moon's brother.

He had discovered that Vein Aquifer had, in fact, fathered a son, whose identity was not disclosed, but knowing that he was right there was a surprise.
Speaking of surprises, she frowned at something else. Who shot the arrow?.

“As it another Assassin or someone else.” he wonder frown.

Alessio looked out cautiously, while he put the note in his pocket. But the thing that bothered him was that in the note, it seemed that whoever shot the arrow had thought that he wanted to kill the lieutenant, rather than knock him out.

"Maybe he was my mentor keeping an eye on me, hiding around here. So much for trust, though." he thought bitterly before shrugging it off, and deciding to continue with the mission.
As he cautiously ran through the long corridor.

But somewhere outside, a figure in black and white robes and armor sat perched on a rooftop, holding a great bow in one hand. His face was completely covered by the hood, before disappearing into the night.

Alessio dodged other guards and quickly hiding to avoid others, he climbed the first stairs he found. remembering from the bright light that his target was on the upper floor and at the right end of the balcony where he had slipped out earlier.

In a short time and without encountering any guards, Alessio reached Vein Aquifer's room.

However, he got the answer because he didn't encounter any guards on his way up. in front of the door at the end there were three guards who were standing guard not exactly in front.
Alessio had to enter from another side, he took a parallel corridor completely deserted and silent, he opened a door, it seemed he had entered a small living room and there was a double window at the end of the room.

Without making a sound, he closed the door behind him, reached the window and opened it. He went outside and jumped from one balcony to another, following the outer perimeter of the building, confident that it was much less illuminated by streetlights given the presence of tall trees with thick foliage.
Alessio he reached the balcony, quickly slipping in, taking every precaution that his target was not in sight to see him enter.

The first thing Alessio noticed was that all the furniture looked expensive. he saw on the right side a glass and crystal glassware, which contained several bottles of schotch and other refined spirits. nearby, a low solid wood table, same wood for the rest of the furniture and the desk on the opposite side of the room. Some fine carpets near a magenta king size bed. The entrance door to the room was at the opposite end from the window and a door to the left which could have been a wardrobe or the bathroom.
From the sound he heard coming from the door, it was indeed a bathroom and Vein Aquifer was there taking a shower.

Alessio hides in the shadows of the anteroom while waiting for his target to come out of the bathroom once he finishes showering. And the wait was made even longer by the fact that he was singing like shit in the shower and, he couldn't understand what he was singing.

Alessio waited patiently for ten long minutes, ignoring Vein Aquifer's terrible singing. and finally it came out.
Steam filled the room as Vein Aquifer, wearing a burgundy bathrobe, he sighed in satisfaction at how amazing the bathroom was.

Alessio looked at him in the dim light of the anteroom. While Vein Aquifer, crossing the room, stopped to take a few more cigarettes. -judging by the gold ashtray full of butts, he was a heavy smoker-, he lit it with a gold table lighter and opened the doors of the glass shop and took out a glass and a bottle of liquor. he helped himself to a glass, before going to open the balcony doors.

Alessio understood that it was the perfect opportunity, with soft steps he headed towards him from behind. he left one things on his bed and he crept up silently behind him.

Vein Aquifer exhaled a breath of smoke as he stared at the night and smirked. “What a beautiful night. I shouldn't let worries about tomorrow get the better of me. Besides, I always win.” he laughs, before taking a sip of liquor. “I'll get that little slut and mother of hers for humiliating me like that. Yes, and I'll see if any bounty is willing to eliminate that annoying 'king of night' parasite, I don't think Princess Luna competed with an insular monkey filly like him for a daughter." he laughs lightly, before deciding to call it a night, he threw the cigarette butt in the air.

"I told you my punishment would be immediate and powerful." hissed Alessio, already with his hidden wrist blade unsheathed and ready to strike.

Recognizing it. Vein Aquifer turned and widened his eyes in amazement and poorly concealed terror when he saw him in front of him, very close to him.

"You?." his voice came out like a hiss, he tried to push him away or throw the liquor contained in the glass at him and took a breath to call the guards, but Alessio plunged the blade into his chest and the blade went straight to the heart.

Without even being able to gurgle, Vein Aquifer let go of his legs, grabbing Alessio's arms tightly, coughing as blood fills his lungs and let out a gasp.
Alessio caught him before he fell to the ground. He helped him by lifting his head so he could see his eyes. Vein Aquifer breath became rapid as he stares at him.
"Why the contamination?" he asked before he passed away.

Vein Aquifer coughs a bit more blood before chuckling weakly. “Everypony… Has to do… What's necessary… To make a quick bit.” he chuckling devilishly before chough a blood loogey onto the floor, his face was ashen and his grip was starting to loosen, but he was looking at Alessio with a challenging look.

Alessio he retracted the blade and slid the blade back into the mechanism. "Die with your pride. For what it's worth... requiescat in pace." he said, letting go. "You bastard," he added with a hiss.

Vein Aquifer seemed about to fall to the ground, but managed to take a step forward, with one hand instinctively on his chest to block the flow of blood, he tried to look at Alessio, before falling against the glassware, shattering it and spilling bottles and glass and crystal glasses that rained down on him. The liquor mixed with the blood.

Alessio observed the body and noticed that the fragments of crystal and glass from the glasses and doors had also made cuts on the neck of the body. he probably thought he was already dead before the glass shards cut him

However, Alessio knows he couldn't stay long because the guards will have heard the sound of breaking glass and will immediately be about to barge into Vein Aquifer's room.

Alessio turned towards the window, ran and climbed over the balcony to reach the roof and take the route of the roofs to get away from the area. His mission was accomplished.

* Same moment *

Led by Vein Aquifer's son, Lieutenant Aqua cuts and, four other guards entered the room with him with weapons drawn.
Looking around the room, Aqua saw his father lying on the floor on shards of glass and crystal, as well as liquor mixed with blood. He covered his mouth as the sight of his father on the floor shocked him.

“Dear Celestia and Luna!. What the hell happened here?!” he said.

The other two guards rushed Vein Aquifer and turned him onto his back. he had His face and neck and chest strewn with embedded glass and crystals.

"There's nothing we can do, he's dead. Maybe he had a heart attack and crashed into the glass factory," one of the guards observed, "I'm sorry for your loss, Lieutenant." he condolence.

“Lieutenant Aqua. You better come see this.” one of his guards signals him to come over.

"Y-yes. Please cover him and call the ambulance" he said he looked away and walking towards his guard he looked down at the bed. Right on his bed she sees a folded note. Taking the paper first.

“Did Vein leave it? Sir?" He looked up while his lieutenant was still looking at the note.

Aqua as he read, a small expression of surprise crossed his face, his eyes glued to the piece of paper. A deep feeling or shock and remorse along with disgust at what he have just read. "I think so. I have to go to Ponyville." he said and, before any of the other guards could say anything to him. He quickly leaves the bedroom and heads straight to the train station.

* Ponyville. sunrise *

Alessio stood on the balcony, his arms crossed on the railing, a nice cup of coffee in hand, as he watched Princess Celestia's sun rise over Ponyville.

Alessio heard the sound of flapping wings, even though he guessed who it was, he looked up, to watch Amber Moon, land next to him.

Amber Moon looked away, was silent for a few minutes before she spoke.

“Vein Aquifer is dead… It seems to have been a heart attack or an accident due to illness.” she began in a low and hoarse voice.

Alessio frowned. “Damn. I was hoping to see him in handcuffs,” he swirled his coffee in small circles.

“Investigators say that he most likely became ill and fell against the glassworks, probably if not certain that he was already dead, before having shards of glass embedded in him by the impact.” Amber explained weakly.

"At least he didn't suffer." Alessio said trying to make the pill painless.

“There's more though. It seems strange to tell you, I didn't expect it, I couldn't believe it but . my…. Brother wants to talk to me and…” Amber sighs since her brother arrived this morning. “I don't know what to tell him?” she admitted.

Alessio sighed and looked at her, knowing it was the right thing to do. “Tell him the truth. I know it's not easy but it's better to tell him what happened.”

“Yeah… it’s not going to be easy though. I don’t even know what to start with.”

“Start with the most important one and then tell him the rest.” You explained.

“Yes… it won't be easy though. I don't even know what to start with." Amber said leaning on the railing and looking at the floor.

Alessio looked at her. "I would advise you to start with the most important one and then calmly tell him the rest." He explained.

"I guess that's better, huh." Amber she looks at the ground floor. She sees her brother standing outside the gate still wearing his armor. She takes a deep breath before letting out a sigh. “Wish me luck then” she gets up and slowly gets down next to her brother.

Alessio observed the meeting of Amber and her brother Aqua, the two talking for several minutes.
First a few clenched fists, then a few tears shed and sometimes it seemed as if raw nerves had been touched and a fight was in danger. But in the end you saw Amber and her brother Aqua hug each other and go back to the barracks.

Alessio followed them with his gaze, happy and relieved that Amber and Aqua had not broken out in a fight and, he hoped that they could be together with Amber's mother, Jade Emerald. A happy family.

As he watched the sun rise, he finished his coffee. Before feeling the pressure of soft breasts against his back and Luna's velvety fur, rubbing her cheek against his.
"Love, since we have a free day to rest~," she purred, pressing her body more against his back.

Alessio smiled as he placed the cup on a table and closed the windows. "I agree Luna."

Luna loosened her grip, and when Alessio turned around, he kissed Luna passionately with his tongue.
When they separated their lips. Luna gave him a small smile. "Do you know what your duty as Night King is now?~."

Alessio affectionately caressed her cheek. "Loving the Queen of the Night?"

Luna wrapped her soft wings around him, purred. “Show me how~.”

Author's Note

Probably many of you would have liked to see a clop scene in the previous chapter and in this one but as you may have noticed. I didn't. Don't disapprove!
Let's say that for this chapter, sorry two parts of chapters, the clop scene seemed a bit, so to speak. Out of place. I hope you understand.
But in the next chapters there will be no worries!!. So I'm evaluating what to do for the next chapter and future ones.
Not sure, but very likely, unless I get a flash idea with a light bulb over my head for a Halloween chapter. But the truth is very difficult.

I know that if I do surveys they are never answered... a real shame though I would add.
But if anyone has any suggestions or ideas. whether it's for mares to add, let me know. Please?.

right now it's time to close and start with the next chapter. So folks. Having said this, I bid you farewell.
See you at the next update.

Next Chapter: Academy Wonderbolt. Estimated time remaining: 1 Hour, 42 Minutes
