“STOP THAT THING!” A guard shouted, as a shadow ran down the hallways of the Crystal Empire castle. It was Erebus, narrowing his eyes underneath his helmet, “GET THAT THING! UNICORNS OPEN FIRE!” Shining Armor ordered as Erebus looked behind him seeing a number of magic blasts unleashed upon him.

Erebus jumping up and leaping off of the wall then quickly flipping over a number of the blasts, grabbing a large dagger like weapon, clicking a button on the bottom of it and turning around throwing the blade quickly, it lodging and pinning one of the guards legs to the wall.

The blade beeping before a massive electric discharge occurred, blasting and going directly for the unicorns horns as they all let out howls of pain including Shining Armor who was holding his horn with his hooves.

“Pegasi...stop him!” He said as the forces moved past him and his squadron of unicorns.

Erebus stopping as he turned around looking at the ponies who pursued him, “Velocity prepare for Stone’s arrival. Gloom, I need you to hurry up with sucking out at least a quarter of the Crystal Heart's energy. I’ll be honest I’m impressed with Shining Armor’s persistence…”

Velocity spoke up in his earpiece, “keep your head on Erebus we’ve got this.”

Erebus leapt off of the head of one of the earth ponies, pulling out his retractable sword and quickly cleaving off a pegasus’s wing. Landing on the ground he whipped around slamming his foot into the muzzle of another Earth Pony before feeling another pegasus slam into his chest sending him against the wall.

Standing up he narrowed his eyes, “stand down! You have nowhere to go!” One of the earth ponies said as Erebus laughed softly, “idiots. Now.” He said as he looked up, the ponies looking up themselves as Stone crashed through the roof and slamming down on top of one of the ponies, blood underneath his hooves. “FINALLY! SOME ACTION!” He shouted as he began bludgeoning and mercilessly beating the guards.

Erebus grinning softly as he put his fingers to his helmet ear again. “Gloom?”

“20%, give me two more minutes!” She replied looking at the heart, a small tube like device syphoning the energy from the heart.

“Good good, all of this is for the benefit of my research,” Erebus said looking up. “We can’t snag the heart, we’ll need a constant stream of fresh energy now.”

“You never even told us what this energy is for!” Stone shouted slamming his rocky hooves into the breastplate of a guard sending him flying backwards and through a wall.

“I need it for enhancements, with just a quarter of the energy from the Crystal Heart, I could use it to either upgrade my weapons, my mutations, anything!” He replied grinning widely under his mask, “then why don’t we go after the Elements of Harmony?” Velocity piped in.

“Because the tree won’t allow me anywhere near those damn things, as much as I’d like to take that power but again I can’t.” He said a guard managing to get past Stone and go in for a headbutt.

Erebus stepping to the side and dodging the earth pony, his head hitting a wall.

“It’s done!” Gloom shouted as a few of the guards chirped up, “hey! What do you think you’re doing!?” They shouted galloping toward Gloom, Velocity swooping in and quickly carrying her up in the air.

“Thanks for the save,” Gloom said as the mare looked down at her. “Just because I saved you doesn’t mean I like you.” Velocity replied narrowing her eyes.

“Enough! We shall be returning to my workshop now.” He said as he typed in a few commands on his gauntlet. Him, Gloom, Velocity and Stone disappearing in a flash of blue light. ‘

Shining Armor and the other unicorns having recovered from the attack, “commander. What did you think they want?” One unicorn asked.

Shining Armor rubbing his head still a little beat, “probably something to do with the Crystal Heart. I want the Crystal Empire on lockdown for the next few hours...with the baby coming we can’t afford to deal with this!” Shining Armor retorted the guard nodding.

“Shall I get the Elements?” The unicorn asked, “no. Not yet…” Shining replied the guard running off.

Nick groaned softly as he awoke, rubbing his head. “God what the…” He felt the pillows below him looking, seeing he was all in his clothes. “Wait what was the last thing I did after I left that hill..? Oh yeah. I went back to Twilight’s castle and passed out in my bed. Standing up he sighed softly.

“Ok, I’m assuming this is another Luna thing?” Nick asked looking around with his arms crossed, he was in what looked like...his old house? “Wait. This is my house when I was a kid? What the hell?” He asked raising an eyebrow.

“Yeeeeep, sure is your old house…” A voice said Nick looking around then at a table, seeing what looked like his teenage self. Wearing his old blue and silver hoodie along with his old favorite pair of red shorts and red shoes. Unlike Nick now, he looked much more apathetic. Bags underneath his eyes, “oh no...please don’t tell me your-”

“The embodiment of your teenage, and adult insecurities? Sure am.” He replied a small grin on his face, “uh...well...this is weird…” Nick said rubbing the back of his head.

“No, he’s weird.” The teenager said pointing behind Nick to another figure, it being another Nick except he was wearing a hoodie with a massive spider logo on it, cargo pants and sandals.

“So what are you supposed to be?” Nick asked raising an eyebrow, “I’m the embodiment of all your weirdest habits.” He said grinning widely.

“Wait, all of them?” Nick asked as he nodded, “ALL OF THEM!”

Nick gulped slightly before shaking his head, “ok ok...because we all can’t be Nick...I’ll call you edgy teen...Cody, and you? Weird Nick? I’ll call you...Travis.”

“Ah, the names of both our brothers? That’s cool.” ‘Cody’ said as he looked at Nick, “so would it be considered incest if w-”

Nick looked at ‘Travis’ and narrowed his eyes, “don’t. Even. Start.”

Travis grinned even more at Nick, “oh c'mon a part of you knows you want to ask that!”

“I didn’t because it’s a dumb question! We’re essentially in the mindscape!” Nick replied rubbing the bridge of his nose, “well. We aren’t limited to your dreams Nick, remember Belikus and Serna?” Cody asked.

Nick blinked slightly, “you’re the two voices I’m gonna have to debate with aren’t you?” Nick asked.

“You bet! It’s gonna be awesome!” Travis said as he wrapped his arms around Cody and Nick, “three idiots all debating on something that could save the world?”

“So I’d be debating with angst and weirdness? Ugh...I guess I can’t choose my voices can I?” Nick asked as Cody shook his head, “no dumbass you can’t.”

“What do you think the baby would look like of Eris and Nick?” Travis asked rubbing his developing chin hairs.

Nick’s eye twitching, before he could speak up Cody spoke first. “That’s assuming Nick will be able to keep her.”

“Ok fuck both of you ok? Don’t tell me you’re STILL broken up over that girl dude?” Nick asked Cody, he narrowed his eyes, “what do you think?”

Nick took a small breath feeling a small tightness in his chest before pushing it down, “like Raven told us dude. You can’t save everyone, especially if you’re not there. We put up a good effort to keep her, but alas. Even we knew we couldn’t keep her forever.”

Cody shook his head, “no. Nick I’m the embodiment of your insecurities, conquered or not. I cannot move on which is kind of-”

“Depressing?” Nick and Travis said as they looked at eachother, Travis smiled at Nick who moved away slightly.

“So I assume I’m staying in my brain until sunrise?” Nick asked raising an eyebrow, Travis nodded, “sure are! It’s being treated like a normal dream, while it isn’t really dream more just us deciding to introduce ourselves.”

“Although frankly we really didn’t need to.” Cody said as he snapped his fingers a chair appearing in front of him as he sat down, Nick sighing softly as he rubbed his chin.

“Have you ever thought about like...fucking yourself if you were a girl? Would it then be considered incest or masturbastion…?” Travis asked as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, “I am so happy I fucking grew out of that habit…” Nick said as he sighed softly.

“What do you mean? You ask dumb questions all the time.” Cody jumped in rolling his eyes, Nick looking at Cody.

“Shut up Cody, christ.” He grumbled as he sat down in a chair in the middle of the table with Cody and Travis sitting on opposites sides of him.

“So I assume that when I turn into Alien X it’s gonna be impossible trying to get you two to agree with me?” Nick asked looking between the two.

“Not impossible, just very unlikely. We’re made to argue.” Cody stated sighing softly and putting his elbow on the table and burying his chin in his hand. “And I was made to have my head in the gutter! You should’ve heard me when you and Eris we’re cuddling!” Travis said laughing.

Nick’s face turning a bright red, “we weren’t cuddling! I was just comforting and allowing her to get close..”

“Because you like her!” Travis said grinning widely at Nick, “pft. Just as long as he doesn’t screw up this relationship, or have fate screw it for him again.”

“Fate isn’t gonna screw him. He’s gonna screw Eris-”

“OK BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!” Nick shouted as he took a breath, “considering your both a part of me, you should know that I do have a crush on Eris, just when we sat at the hill together it felt good...it felt great and loved that feeling…” Nick said looking to the side. Cody shaking his head, “don’t get too attached Nick. It’s just another disaster waiting to happen.” He spoke up as Nick narrowed his eyes.

“Will you shut the fuck up you edgy cunt? I know you’re the physical embodiment of every doubt I’ve EVER had, but along with that I can sense lots of teenage angst.” Nick stated as Travis opened his mouth to speak.

Nick looking at him, “and you need to stop thinking with your dick and start thinking with your brain! Oh god I sound like Raven when we were teenagers…” Nick said rubbing his cheeks.

“Next your gonna start yelling about pilots using the Smart Pistol in Titanfall 2 and screaming Don’t lock onto me.” Cody said in a joking manner making Nick actually grin.

“Oh god I remember that!” Nick said laughing a bit, “ah those were...semi good times when we didn’t fight all the damn time.”

“And when you didn’t screw up and play with his emotions all the time?” Cody stated raising an eyebrow.

Nick falling silent as he looked to the side, Cody grinning slightly before leaning back in his chair. Travis looked at Nick and tilted his head, “hey buddy? This should help cheer you up.” He said snapping his fingers and sliding his old middle school/high school phone in front of him.

“What am I supposed to do with this? This isn’t the real world if you're implying I do the explicit stuff, I haven’t done that since high school.” Nick said narrowing his eyes and throwing the phone back it phasing through the ground, Nick sighing and looking between the two.

“So what do you guys wanna talk about?” He asked raising an eyebrow, “well considering you’ve said it yourself before. Conversation usually comes to us, we don’t go to it.”

“True.” Nick said as he rubbed the back of his head, “I mean. I’m not gonna lie-” Travis spoke up as Nick eyed him his eye twitching slightly. “Don’t.”

“Eris is-” He cut himself off intentionally as Cody said, “Travis I’m not in the mood.”

“Hot. And Cody you’re never in the mood,” Travis said shaking his head.

Nick looked out the window, from what he saw he could outside of his physical bodies eyes regardless of them being closed. Seeing what seemed like sunlight shine in, in the small holes he left open in his covers to help him breath considering he slept underneath the covers all the time. “Sunshine! Welp boys! I suppose it was fun seeing how much of a jerk I was in the past with my insecurities and weirdness...but as you’ve said you’ll let me go when the sun is up!” Nick stated.

Cody narrowing his eyes, “you do realize me and Travis can hold grudges right?”

Travis shook his head, “don’t worry. He’ll regret it when he turns into Alien X and needs our immediate help. For now let him go.” He said, “besides, who’s gonna keep Eris ‘company!’”

“I will kill you Travis.” Cody said to the copy of himself sighing, “very well. You can return to the real world. We’ll meet again Nick,” Cody said looking at his older self.

Nick blinking slightly, “yeah.” Nick said as he disappeared in a flash of green light.

Nick sat up as he rubbed his head, “ok...that was seriously really weird...I’m hoping I NEVER turn into Alien X, EVER!” Nick said gulping slightly and looking out the window, “don’t think about it! Today is a good day! I can feel it!” Nick said as he stood up looking out of the window seeing the ponies below.

A small smile forming on his face, “what’s the worse that can happen?” He asked raising an eyebrow.

A pale white unicorn with a collar looking up at him from the ground, “do you have the target in sight?” A voice asked in her ear, “yeah I’ve got him in my sight. Seems like he’s just waking up. Do we engage?”

“No. Not yet, I found a good...creature for my experiments. It’ll test the effects and side effects of the positive energy. Which will help us Gloom, under my wing you will learn in time.” The voice said.

The unicorn Gloom grinning as she looked at the human who finally walked away from the window, “this should be fun to watch.” She said grinning.

“Indeed, now return home. I’ll inform you when it is time to return, for now however go home.” The voice said static filling her ears before complete silence.

She grinned widely before trotting away back to her home.

This is about Nick being introduced to the two personalities of his past self that he buried deep in the past, so yeah it's filled with lots of sexual jokes but it adds to the character that is "Travis" being the embodiment of Nick's weirdness.
