One Hour Later,
Rainbow Dash’s Home, Cloudsdale.

“Here is your new room,” said Rainbow Dash as she lifted the blindfold off of the filly.
“It’s beautiful!” said Scootaloo.
In the middle of the room was a twin sized bed covered. On it was a cover adorned with pictures of members of the Wonderbolts. On the walls (made of clouds) were pictures of Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo together.
Rainbow Dash adopting her was a dream come true for Scootaloo. Ever since the two of them had met several years before, she had admired Dash’s mastery of flight.
“This isn’t a dream,” asked Scootaloo, afraid that in a few minutes, she would wake up and the past day would turn out to be nothing more than a dream.
“No Scoots, it isn’t a dream. It’s all real. You and me will be together forever.”
This reassured Scootaloo.
“May I ask you another question?”
“Go ahead squirt.”
“May I use the phone? I dying to tell Applebloom and Sweetiebelle the news.”
“Sure thing,” said Rainbow Dash.
Scootaloo zipped past her and into the living room. Rainbow Dash stayed in her room, looking at the photos on the wall of them together. Rainbow Dash remembered when they had first met nearly a decade before. Rainbow Dash had noticed a filly on a scooter zipping around town at extremely high speed. Being a fan of anything that moved fast, Rainbow Dash made her way down to the ground to compliment the orange daredevil. After a couple more encounters around town with the stunt loving filly, mainly through mutual friends such as Sweetiebelle and Applebloom, Rainbow Dash began to come to empathize with the flightless pegasus. The rest as they say, was history.
Now that her and Scootaloo were under the same roof, Rainbow Dash felt a bit nervous. She was now obligated to look after Scootaloo in a different fashion than before. Rather than being a mentor and a friend, she was now a legal guardian and an adoptive mother. She felt nervous about the task and the trials that awaited her. However she knew that with Scootaloo by her side, anything was possible.
