Prologue: You are The Future Of Our Military

It was a rainy day in Berlin. It was a little after 2 PM when it started to pour down hard. And it was time for the kids to get out of school. A few of them had their parents to come and get them, but others had to wait out the rain and walk home. One of these students is named Myasnik Schwarz, a student at Stauffenberg Jr. High. The teens was leaning against one of the poles under the awning of the school, speaking to one of his friends with a warm smile on his face.

“HA! Yeah, he definitely had it coming with all the homework and bullshit he gave us. I am glad he got fired. Though I still have yet to know why he got fired.”

His voice was deep and raspy, as deep as it was for someone his age anyways and it was VERY clear he was a german with that accent of his. His friend nods and answers back.

“Supposedly, he got caught getting handsy with one of the busty girls in our class behind the school.”

Myasnik grimaced and shook his head.

“Tch, pervy old man. I hope the cops put him in the jails with all the burly guys who will make him their bitch.”

“Yeah, it would serve him right.”

They kept on talking for a while longer, just passing the time to let the rain pass. But for some reason, it wouldn’t let up. Then again it rains a lot in Germany. So this was nothing new. But out of all the day to not bring an umbrella, it just had to be today. And he was getting tired of waiting. The sweet thought of steak and mashed potatoes in front of him on his dinner plate was calling his name. He looks to his friend and throws his hood over his head, It wouldn’t provide much aid, but it was better than nothing.

“Alright, I am not waiting this out anymore than i have to. I am headed home, see you later.”

He waves to his friend who blinks at him a few times.

“You are crazy, bro...but alright, see you tomorrow.”

Myasnik began his journey home in the rain, the sound of the city mixed with the rain. Cars driving by, horns being honked, people walking by as their feet splash in the forming puddles. And the thunder clapping every now and then when the lightning struck. Myasnik walked along the sidewalks, under any awnings he could fine to stay as dry as possible, but in the end, he knew he would be soaked once his got home.

Hmmm...I hope I don’t miss that documentary on old german war tanks and firearms. Been looking forward to that all week. I also hope mother doesn’t forget to make the gravy for the potatoes to…

The thoughts of this boy ran on and on on his way home. See unlike most kids his age, who worried about the next best thing in technology with phones, tablets and game consoles, Myasnik was more about finding out what the militaries of the world were developing. And he wanted to learn all he could about it. His father, who had passed away due to lung cancer from smoking too much, was also a military man. Must run through the family. But being in the military wasn’t exactly his first choice career. No, he wanted to design weapons for the military. Build the next best thing for the safety of his country.

On his way home, he passed by the local animal shelter to visit one of his favorite dogs. It was a large german shepherd dog who’s name was Kujo. Really friendly dog, but especially friendly around Myasnik. He walks into the large play area and sees the large dog chewing on a green tennis ball, he smiles lightly and calls out to him.

    “Kujo!”

The dog’s ears perk up at the familiar voice, moving around like little satellites finally turning his head to see Myasnik, his tail starts wagging non-stop as he runs towards him and jumps up, placing his paws on Myasnik shoulders and nuzzling and licking him affectionately. One of the staff members look over and sees Myasnik and chuckles lightly.

“Come to give him a bit of company today again huh?”

She asked as she was tending to one of the other dogs. He nods in response while petting Kujo.

“Yep, always happy to come and see him when I can. I just wish mom would let me come home with him. He’d be a good pet and guard dog.”

After an hour and a half, Myasnik left the shelter, of course, it was still raining. He sighed and shook his head as he made his way home again.

“Geez...first the rain, and then the snow will be here very soon…”

He turned down his usual shortcut, a nice quiet street that didn’t have much activity on it, little did he know that today, it was the perfect place for him to get taken. As he nears the end of the street a large black SUV pulls out in front of him and the back doors swing open. Two large burly men in suits and sunglasses immediately jump out and grab Myasnik before he had any time time to react. The throw a hood over his head and toss him in the back of the vehicle.

“Was zum teufel machst du?!”<What in the hell are you doing?!>

He shouted as he tried to struggle to get out, reaching for his butterfly knife in his pocket to defend himself. Before he could get it out however, he felt an injection in his neck which took effect nearly instantly. His eyes grew heavy and an induced sleeps was now consuming him. The car doors slam closed and the driver speeds off down the street.

--A Few Hours Later--

The hood is pulled off Myasnik head swiftly, the boy is sitting in a chair under a large light surround by a large circular desk with shadowed figures eyeing him, a woman in a black suit top and black skirt approaches him. She had bright green eyes and black hair.

“Wake up, kid, naptime is over.”

She said in a thick russian accent, walking back and forth in front of him, waiting for him to lift his head. He does so slowly and looks around the room. He gives a serious glance around for a moment, then yawns and stretches casually>

“Ah, so the government finally took an interest in my potential ideas did they? Or are you detaining me because I stole that one magazine from the adult store? I couldn’t help it. International Busty Girl is a turn on for me. I am a healthy male after all.”

The woman blinks a few times in surprise, the shadowed figures in the back arching their brows as well. The woman clears her throat, maintaining her professionalism..

“We do not deal with small petty thefts, young man. We have brought you here for another reason entirely.”

She pulls up a tablet and reads off his details.

“Name: Myasnik Schwarz. Age: fifteen. Attends Staufenberg Jr. High. Jas an affinity for handling himself in close combat quite expertly. Has few friends because of his natural glare which strikes fear into most. No really love interest. Hobbies include gathering knowledge about war machines and weapons. Spending time at the animal shelter. Your father was also a military man…”

The info went on and on. Clearly these people have been watching him for quite a while. He stands up and looks around the room, placing his hand in his pocket casually while maintaining eye contact with the woman.

“Alright, so what? You have been watching me the day since I was born? What the hell do you people want with me anyways? And can we make this quick? I got an old war documentary I need to go watch. Not to mention I am sure my mother is worrying about me.”

She placed a hand on her hip with a smirk.

“Oh,you don’t need to worry about that. For all she knows, you are now on your way to Russia for studying abroad. You won’t be returning home for quite a while, #6.”

He arches a brow and tilts his head slightly, still maintaining eye contact with ehr however.

“#6? What is that some kind of number you have given me or something?”

“No, it was the number you have had all your life since you were born. You see, you are the future of the safety of Germany, Myasnik Schwarz. You and a few selected other children all over the country.”

He takes out his butterfly knife from his pocket and starts twirling it around boredly.

“Look, I am honored that you hand picked me from birth. But you don’t think my memory goes back to the day you poked me with whatever your goons injected me with? Besides, I don’t want to do field work. I want to create weapons and machines for war. Not use them.”

“I am afraid you have no choice, young man.”

A man in a black uniform with multiple medals approaches from the shadows. Once he came into the light Myasnik knew exactly who he was. Myasnik turn and chuckles lightly

“Ah yes, the exalted General Fynn Schneider. I knew that someone as powerful as you would be behind something as shady as this. No one gets to where you are when they haven’t done unethical things. What the hell did you even inject me with anyways?”

The man smiles knowingly and nods.

“Certain things must be done to ensure that Germany will be ready for oncoming war, young man. Even if those things are a bit...unorthodox. You will become one of our super soldiers...because if not, I am afraid we will have to kill you.”

This did not surprise Myasnik in the least. This was the government after all. They can kill anyone, even a child and cover it up as an accident. And it pissed him off. He closes up his knife and places it back into his pocket.

“Hmmm...and me dying would prevent my future plans. Can’t have that.”

    He sighs and shrugs.

“Well, honestly if i get mad about it it won’t solve anything. And with military personnel guarding this room with heavy rifles, fighting isn’t exactly an option either.”

The man chuckles lightly and nods.

“You assess your situation quite calmly and wisely. You have the makings of a natural born assassin. And we will nourish those skills over the next few months. Cooperate and do as we say, you will be back home in no time.”

“Like you said, I have no choice. But you still haven’t answered my question. What was it that you had your goons shove into my veins?”

“Quite right. You have a sharp mind as well, despite your slightly above average grades.”

    Myasnik chuckles lightly.

“I may not exceed expectations in the classroom, but I am plenty smart outside it.”

The general begins explaining what it was that is now spliced into his DNA, a lab-manufactured super soldier strand that grants its host super human strength, excellent dexterity, sharp eyesight, and even extreme weather resistance. However, there was a catch.

“Should you ever decide to go rogue however, we have a killcode that will cause your body to be destroyed from the inside...and it will not be a very clean death. Remember that. Now, let us begin with your training. You have much to learn.”

Over the next six months, Myasnik learned things that no one his age are suppose to know. Proper gun handling, advanced martial arts training. Stealth tactics, solo and team methods of taking down targets and sneaking through enemy territory. Finally, his last day of training came around. And this day, would be the one that changes his life forever.

“Excellent work Myasnik Schwarz. You have completed your training and we have evaluated your strengths. You excelled in both long range sniping and close quarters combat. You have quite the high amount of patience for a sniper, and you're already sense of being alert was above average when you first started. Therefore, we see fit to issue you these two weapons.”

Two men bring forth a sniper rifle and a sawed off shotgun and place it in front of Myasnik on the table he stood in front of. He walks over and takes the shotgun up first.

    “That there is a-”

A 12G auto shotywith an LED and laser combo, powerful and compact. And a bolt action sniper rifle with a silencer and a scope that switches between thermal and normal optics. Hmm, very very nice indeed. However, the large knife I will not need. My butterfly knife will more than suffice.”

The weapon expert just looked at Myasnik with a slight look of shock.

“What? I was a weapons nut even before I got dragged here.”

The general chuckled lightly and nodded, dismissing the others and walked over to Myasnik and lightly patted his shoulder..

“To be honest, I had my doubts about you, young man, but you have proven yourself and your abilities.”

“And I also got to play with all these wonderful toys I never thought I’d get to try.”

    They both laughed until…

    BOOM!!!

CRASH!!!

Explosions and fires began forming all over the facility, the source coming from below the building several levels down. The power shutting off, leaving only the reserve lights and alarm lights on, darkening the whole facility.

    “What the fuck was that?!”

Shouted Myasnik as he grabs the walk for support. Having slung his weapons over his shoulders just in time before this had all started. The general’s coms when off.

“Sir, the portal! It has become unstable and it destroying the lab below! We need to get everyone out of here, now!”

“MYasnik, you go and see if your fellow soldiers need help getting out of here! We have invested too much into all of you. I want them all out of here before this building collapses! Failure is not an option!”

“I am on it, I have made too many friends here to lose them anyways!”

He said before running off to go find the other children he had formed bonds with. These kids have had the same thing done to them at birth, and he had gotten along with them so well. He wasn’t about to lose them. He leaped over fallen debris and walls, the smoke was thick, and the fires were hot. He heard the sound of people calling for help, but he did not have the time to stop.He kept looking around to make sure he did not miss any of them as he went through the facility. After a good thirty minutes, he had gotten them all out, but on the way to the exit, the ground crumbled below him, sending him down to the very bottom of the building. The portal that had been so unstable swallowed him up just seconds before it self destructed and blew the building sky high.

--A Few Miles Outside Of Ponyville--

It’s was cold and the snow was falling hard, the wind turning it into a blizzard. Myasnik laid there covered in scrapes and bruises from hitting the parts of the ceiling that hit him on the way down. He slowly stood up and looked around. Where in the hell was he? There was nothing but snow as far as he could see. He couldn’t worry about that now. He had to find some kind of shelter away from the snow, he certainly wasn’t dressed for the weather.

He kept on walking...and walking. Soon the cold began to take a toll on his body and he began to grow heavy and sleepy

“Damnit...why can I be eighteen now…?”

He falls to his knees, his eyes slowly closing, but not before spotting a cloaked and hooded figure walking towards him. That, was the last thing he saw before a cold induced sleep took him.
