Chapter 15: The Service Here Is Great

Previous Chapter Next Chapter

Standing near the bar while waiting was a boy with dark black skin, and he was clothed with a gray jacket. And on his shirt, there was a graphic of a kitchen knife chopping a piece of steak. He wore blue jeans with black sneakers, and his hair was colored with streaks of black and red, and his eyes were neon blue.

"Its him...", Sunny whispered.

"Great. What do we do? Want me to tackle him?" Lemon asked.

"No."

"Pull his pants down and fill them with hot sauce?" Indigo asked.

"No and gross."

"Kick him to the curb with teeth marks on his neck like a vampire bite?" Sugarcoat asked.

"No! Look, it looks like he's taking his things and leaving, lets just let him be. We don't need him to be distracting Sour and Smallfoot from their--oh scrap."

"What?"

"He just saw them. Oh no, he's walking to them!"

"What do we do?" Sugarcoat asked.

"I'll tell you what we're gonna do. We've got to get him far away from those two. Just from what Sour Sweet described to us, I don't want anything bad to happen to them now."

Smallfoot turned her head and she gritted her teeth together and her fists clenched up when she saw who was coming their way. Sour turned her head as well, and the two of them froze when the boy wandered to the table they were sitting at.

"Sour?"

Sour snarled, "Hello Steel. What are you doing here?"

"I'm just going home, long night. Why are you here? You only go here whenever we...", he looked to the right and noticed her date glaring at him with eyes staring at him like daggers.

"You're on a date... with her?"

"Yes. You got a problem with that?" Sour growled.

"No, no, I don't. I just never took you for a lesbo."

Sour glared, "Well I am. And she's much better than you, or any of those *BLEEP*holes that I've been with. So can I ask you to please leave me and my date alone?"

Steel just chuckled, "Alright, alright, I'll go...", he began to slowly walk away and whispered something that Sour couldn't comprehend.

"Sociopathic dyke."

Smallfoot's teeth snarled, and she stood on her feet with her fists clenched together, sending Sour shocked. What was she doing?

"Big Rig, what are you doing?" Sour pleaded.

Smallfoot just gave one friendly smile to Sour before staring back at her ex with an angry look.

"Oh? Is someone offended?"

Smallfoot cracked her knuckles together, creating loud cracking noises for him to hear. Steel followed up by doing the same thing and readying his fists.

"You really want to fight me, dyke?"

Smallfoot gave one nod as she readied herself to fight.

"What makes you think you can fight me? I'm stronger and more muscular than you ever will be."

Smallfoot still held her ground as she readied to fight. Her eyes widened in surprise when Steel made the first move... by throwing a stool at her. She ducked in time and watched as it broke through one of the windows, destroying the glass.

"You see? I'm super strong. What can you possibly do against--"

His sentence came to a stop as a chair was thrown right as his body knocking him down to the ground. He pulled it off of him and looked at Smallfoot standing with another chair at the ready.

"How did you do that!?"

Smallfoot smirked and held the chair in her hands like she was ready to swing it like a baseball bat.

"Very well, lets fight!"

"Not again...", Sunny moaned to herself.

Smallfoot threw the chair towards Steel who just ducked in time to avoid being hit. He came charging at her with his head ducked forward like a rhino. Smallfoot just stood for a second, waiting for the right moment to strike. As soon as the time was right, she performed a jump into the air like a ninja, going right over Steel as he crashed into a table.

Sunny Flare, noticing the advantage she had, got up on her feet and removed her hat, exposing her true identity.

"What the... Sunny!?" Sour shrieked.

"Not just me. Its all of us," Sunny replied.

The rest of the girls began to show up, and they stood with Smallfoot, taking off their disguises. Except for Lemon Zest who kept a beret and a mustache on her face.

"Seriously Lemon?" Sour groaned as she slapped her head.

"What? Come on, its a brilliant disguise! You can't even tell its me!"

"The point is Sour, we came here because we thought your ex-boyfriend would be showing up here and we didn't want him to hurt you. Its bad enough you've been hurt in the past, so we came here to keep him or anyone else off your back."

They heard the sound of groaning and watched as Steel Blade got on his feet again and wiped a little bit of blood from his lip.

"Are you gonna fight, or what?"

"Um, Big Rig, maybe we should--"

Smallfoot ignored Sunny's statement and charged at Steel Blade again, far off to the other side of the restaurant.

"--Or you could charge at her ex-boyfriend. Sure. Don't let us handle it, you just go and attack," Sunny slapped her sides.

The group of five watched as a sparing match began between the two of them. Steel Blade threw more punches, but Smallfoot barely flinched at the punches. None of them were making any damages in her skin.

Steel threw another punch and he winced in pain from how hard he threw it.

"OW! Oh god... what the *BLEEP* are you made of!?"

Smallfoot smirked and she threw a punch across his face, but it didn't take him down. Instead he charged at her and slammed her back against the bar in the middle of the diner. He readied himself to punch her again, but Smallfoot grabbed one of the plastic plates and smacked it across his face.

"What is wrong with you!? Don't you know going on a date with Sour is a mistake!?"

Smallfoot looked to the side and saw Sour Sweet and the others were far away from her. With them out of sight, she smirked and looked back at her ex.

"Going with Sour was the greatest thing I've done. You're the one who's made a mistake by cheating on her and not even telling her in the first place!", Smallfoot yelled as she kneed him in the crotch.

Taking her chance, she grabbed him and tossed him over the bar. Seeing that he was down, she jumped across the bar and performed a body slam on his body making him scream.

The rest of the girls ran over to the side of the bar where they were fighting and listened to Steel's yelling. But because they were behind the bar, they couldn't even see what they were doing. All they could see were tools and glassware falling off the shelves, and several other tools flying in the air. There were some more glasses being thrown in the air, and there were a few bottles thrown as well.

"What are they doing back there!?" Sour shrieked.

Sour snarled and she took a step back. Without warning, she charged forward and jumped over the countertop and fell down on the floor of the bar. But when she took a look, they weren't there.

"Wait... where they go!? They were just fighting!"

"Let me see!" Indigo said as she jumped over, falling over the bar and landing on Sour.

"OW!!!"

"Hang on!"

One by one, the other girls jumped over the bar and landed on top of one another.

"I can't... feel... my back... ", Sour wheezed.

The girls slowly got off one another, and moved back on their feet to look around.

"Wait... they were here right?" Sunny asked.

"They were. Either they moved to another side of this bar and went to fight somewhere else... or we may have missed a scene," Lemon replied.

They turned their heads to the right and they all froze when they saw a few people were staring at them. They had been watching them the entire time since Steel and Smallfoot began their fight.

"What are you all staring at? Haven't you seen a bunch of teenage girls jump over a bar trying to find an ex-boyfriend and a lesbian fighting each other?" Indigo asked.

"Surprisingly, I have," one of the men sitting at one of the tables said.

"Okay, and now I have to ask, have any of you seen a boy and a girl in a fancy dress fighting over here?"

"I have, and they kind of took their fight into the kitchen..." a patron said, pointing towards the dual doors leading to the kitchen.

They turned their heads to the kitchen door and listened to the sounds of clattering and clashing going on in the back, along with the sounds of yelling.

"You're destroying my kitchen!!!"

The girls leaped over the bar and back out into the open space. Slowly walking to the doors, they readied themselves in case one of them was about to bash on through. But as they waited, they listened in for more sounds. Steel Blade was yelling like crazy, and there was tons of glass and plates thrown around in the kitchen, breaking into shards and clattering all over the ground.

The girls moved a little closer, but they quickly retreated as soon as a glass cup flew right through the circular window in one of the doors, landing on the ground.

"This isn't going to be good...", Sugarcoat stated.

The doors opened up again, and Steel Blade ran on through the door with a bruise on his face and a black eye. His teeth snarled and his fists were clenched. He turned himself to stare at Sour and snarled.

"Your date, is a psychopath!"

"The only reason she attacked you was because you wouldn't shut up and leave us alone!"

The doors were kicked open again, and Smallfoot came walking out of the door with more wounds than Steel. She was holding her side with her right arm which revealed some cuts and bruises, and she was holding onto her left eye with her left hand, and wincing in pain.

Sour gasped as she saw her date was hurt.

"B-Big Rig... are you okay?"

Smallfoot looked over to Sour and gave an uneasy smile, along with a thumbs up; but she at no time at all removed her hand from her eye. Sour felt her blood boiling and her fists were clenched up. This time, Steel had gone too far. Cheating on her was one thing, but attacking her date was another.

"That's... it. Steel Blade... you are so dead!"

Steel chuckled, "And just how am I dead?"

Sour snarled and she cracked her knuckles together, and stretched her arms, creating loud cracking noises. She tilted her head all around, stretching, and she glared with an angry look.

"You don't know how strong I've become since we last spoke... You've cheated on me, you've lied to me, you've tried to get in my pants, and YOU hurt my date. And now you're gonna pay..."

Steel Blade snarled and he grabbed a plate that had chicken wings with hot and spicy sauce on them. He readied his arm to throw them, and threw the plate at her. Sour ducked in time, but the plate hit one of the patron's face making him scream.

"OW!!!! OH GOD, IT BURNS! MY EYES!!!"

The woman sitting next to him growled and she got up and grabbed her plate, ready to throw it.

"Oh come on...", Sour moaned.

The woman threw the plate, only for it to land and hit another patron. The person that was met with the plate growled and got on their feet with food at the ready for battle ammunition, eliciting a grin from Lemon.

Lemon Zest grinned as she looked around her. The rest of the patrons at the restaurant were grabbing food and getting ready to fight.

"Food fight!!!" Lemon yelled.

Within a matter of seconds, the clean and calm restaurant transformed into an entire battlefield. Food was flying everywhere, silverware and glassware was clattering on the ground and going out the windows. More food and condiments splattered everywhere, staining the floors, the chairs, tables, windows, and even the staff and patrons. The girls couldn't even believe that the children and the adults were participating in the fight. These were civilized people one minute and then one minute later they turned into savages.

Sour Sweet in all of this had her focus locked on to Steel Blade, as she tackled him to the ground, and the two of them started wrestling with one another, trying to find each other's weak points.

Smallfoot however in the midst of their fighting, held back to the side and kept her hand over to her eye.

"Did you think that maybe, attacking Steel might, might entice him to start a fight in the restaurant!?" Sunny screamed.

"You insult my date, you're gonna tangle with me!"

"Honestly, I think what you did was awesome," Indigo said as she held a plastic tray in her hand, using it as a shield to block an incoming taco that came at her and Smallfoot.

"Really?"

"Its about time that someone stood to Steel Blade. He's a two-timer," Sugarcoat said.

"I think you mean seven-timer?" Lemon asked.

"Either way, he's getting his comeuppance for being an *BLEEP*," Sugarcoat replied.

"But it wasn't necessary to attack him! I mean, look at what you've started now!" Sunny said as she gestured to all of the fighting going on in the restaurant.

"Its not that bad," Lemon said as she came on by with a plate of fries, "Surprisingly, the waiters are still going around and putting food out to the tables that ordered."

Indigo raised a brow and she took a fry and ate one.

"Huh," Indigo munched, "The service here is great even during a fight!"

Looking across from them, Lemon Zest saw a fresh chocolate milkshake blended together in a glass, just sitting there. Lemon's tongue smacked against her lips as she saw it. It was just sitting there... waiting to be taken. Waiting to be drunk from...

"Mine!" Lemon called out as she went to grab it.

She quickly clutched it and hid back with the girls and drank from it through the straw.

"Do you even know if someone touched it?" Sugarcoat asked.

"Yes I do, and no, no one touched it. I asked the waiter for one, and this is exactly what I ordered. Chocolate shake with a hint of whipped cream, and one little cherry to add on top."

Going right past them was another waiter holding a tray in his hands, covered in some food that had splattered on him, but he barely had any reaction whatsoever. He didn't even look like he knew what was going on around him. He just simply walked past the girls and entered the dual doors leading back to the kitchen.

"... How much do you girls want to bet he's already called the authorities on us? We're going to get kicked out, no worse, we're going to jail!" Sunny yelled over the commotion.

"No we're not. We've got the Guardians outside to back us up. And speaking of which, where are they?"

"Come on, get him!" Pathfinder yelled.

Outside, during all of the fighting inside of the restaurant, Pathfinder and the Guardian Gobots were occupied with something else. A few Renegade Gobots were flying over the vicinity of the area and they flew down to try and take out the Guardians. So throughout their night, all of their attention was focused on them.

Lasers were beaming from their fists, vehicles were converting back and forth between robot and alternate modes, and they were all yelling on top of one another.

"Dart, tackle Scorp!"

"No, he's right there!"

"He's not on me, he's on Van Guard!"

"No, get him off my back!"

"What is even going on!?"

"Why are we not paying attention to the food fight going on inside the restaurant!?"

"And why are there police officers going to the restaurant!?"

Back inside the restaurant, Indigo kept moving like a bodyguard, trying to deflect every inch of food that came at her and the girls, trying to protect them from being hit while they tended to her wounds.

"Smallfoot, did he scratch you?"

"No. He smacked my face with a frying pan, tried to scratch my face with a knife, and then he turned on a mixer and tried to rub it in my face! What is even wrong with him!? Someone like him should go to a mental ward! Or prison!"

"Yeah, well, I'm pretty sure after tonight he's going to be off to prison after all of this... which was still started by you," Sugarcoat said.

"Hey, he's the one who threw the chair at me, he's the one who started it!"

"And so you attacked him!?"

"I'm sorry, did you want me to just stand there while he hit me? Agh, ow...", Smallfoot groaned and she removed her hand from her eye which made Sunny and the girls all gasp.

"Oh no... your eye..."

"What!? What's wrong with it!?" Smallfoot panicked.

"No, your eye is fine, but your skin's torn off. Your metal skin is showing, she's going to find out who you really are!"

"I think its already too late at this point," Sugarcoat said.

"My skin may be revealed, but that doesn't mean I can't help Sour!"

She ducked underneath the cluster of girls and entered back into the open of the fight. She looked around the people throwing food, trying to find out where Steel and Sour were. They couldn't have gone far, and they weren't hard to find. Where did they go?

Smallfoot turned her head to the left and was met with a piece of shrimp landing in her bra. She looked down and pulled it, and flicked it with her fingers off to the side before moving on. As she entered to the right side of the restaurant, she gasped when she saw something she hoped she wouldn't see...

Steel Blade held Sour down on the ground, and he was trying to throw punches to her face. But Sour wasn't holding back, and she kept his hands from trying to go to her face.

Smallfoot snarled and she ran right at Steel Blade, and tackled him to the ground. She grabbed him by the neck, and held him down to the ground.

"You're dead now buddy... I may be a Guardian, but that doesn't mean I follow every moral..."

"What the... you're... a robot!?"

Smallfoot smirked, "Its intergalactic alien to you."

She got on her feet and dragged him on his feet, still holding him by the throat.

"And you've got on my last nerve."

"Need I remind you, you're the one who started our fight?"

"You're the one who started the fight you moron! You're the one who cheated on my girl. And you're going to pay for it..."

Sour watched as Smallfoot held him in her claws, and just before she could do anything else--

"Freeze!"

Smallfoot and Sour Sweet froze when they heard that cold voice, and the sound of a bullet loading into a barrel of a gun. Smallfoot's eyes looked to the right and she saw a police officer was standing there with a gun in his hand pointing at her.

"Ms. Let him go, now."

Smallfoot hesitantly obeyed and let him go, and backed away with her hands in the air.

"Now... I've received several calls from the manager of this establishment because a fight broke out. Can anyone tell me who started this fight?"

Sour and Smallfoot froze in place as the officer spoke to them.

"Do any of you two know who started this fight?"

"Yeah, it was these two whores," Steel snapped.

Smallfoot growled and clenched her fists together, but Sour held her back. Luckily she didn't even see the glimmer of titanium flashing off the side of Smallfoot's eye which she covered up before she could see it.

"Officer, Steel Blade here harassed me and my date, and that's what led to the fight."

The policeman turned his head to stare at Steel, "Did you start this?"

"No, it was her!"

The policeman looked at Smallfoot and observed her wounds. The cupped eye, the scratching marks, the bruises, and lastly the scrapes of her skin. He then looked to Steel Blade who barely looked hurt, he looked like he only had a few bruises on him.

"Hm... Officer Jade, what do you think?"

A policewoman walked up to them and observed their wounds for a moment and scratched her chin.

"Excuse me for a moment...", the policewoman said.

She walked off to the right side of the restaurant for a moment, leaving the man to keep his eye on Sour, Smallfoot, and Steel. But as he observed the teenager some more, his eyes blinked as he realized who was in front of him.

"Wait a minute... Steel Blade... I remember you. You're the rotten little punk who cheated on my daughter..."

"No, no I wasn't!"

"Yeah you were. In fact, my daughter got evidence. You didn't even realize you were filmed, were you?"

"WHAT!?"

"Wait... you know him?" Sour asked.

"Yes. He cheated on my daughter, and he cheated on her with several of her friends. Did he cheat on you?"

"Yeah, he did, and he attacked my date," Sour growled.

"Skipjack," the policewoman said as she walked to the policeman, "I've talked with the manager, the staff, and I've questioned a few patrons. A few of them saw how it all started, and they said he was the one who started this."

Steel Blade gulped. He knew he was caught now, and the policeman gave a smug look to him.

"Well... cheating on my daughter is one thing, but causing a fight in a family-friendly establishment is something else...", the police officer said.

"Wait, no, you can't be serious! They started it, you got to believe me!"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, tell it to the judge. Take him away."

Steel's wrists were put in handcuffs and the policewoman dragged him off with him kicking and screaming, trying to get free. The policeman just shook his head and looked to Sour and Smallfoot.

"Okay, he won't be bothering you two anymore. But... before I go, I need an honest answer from you two. Did any of you fight with him?"

"Yes sir. We did. But it was only because we were trying to keep him away from us. Also, my rage might have overtaken me...", Sour said feeling ashamed.

"Look, sweetheart, you and your date aren't in trouble. But I'm letting you both off with a warning, and the manager has fined you and your friends for partaking and starting a ruckus in a family restaurant. Understand?"

The two girls nodded.

"Okay. Have a nice night you two."

With all said and done, the police officer left the two alone, while everyone else was slowly trying to put the tables and the chairs back up and clean up around the place. The patrons and the family members that came to eat didn't even want to eat anymore. They just got up, paid their bills for what they ate, and left the restaurant. But not everyone left.

"Hey girls, you two okay?" Indigo asked.

"Yeah, we're fine. Although we just got fined... shouldn't someone be giving us a ticket?"

"Actually the manager gave all 6 of us a ticket," Sugarcoat said, holding the receipt in her hand, "He said that we're never allowed here again unless we pay for all of the damages we've done to the place. And judging by the bill, I think this won't be a problem. We can just save up our money to pay for the damages."

"Right...", Sunny sneered.

"What's got you all worked up?" Lemon asked.

"Maybe some of us didn't want certain others to start a fight and just wait for the police or the manager to handle him," Sunny said, sneering at Smallfoot.

"I didn't start the fight!" Smallfoot yelled before freezing in place.

The girls all froze as well along with their eyes widening. Sour gasped.

"Y-You... you can talk!? Wait a minute...", Sour noticed something shining in her eye on the side of her face, just a tiny gap between the flesh of her skin and Smallfoot's pinky finger.

"Move your hand..."

"Um, Sour, I don't think--" Lemon started.

"Move. Your. Hand," Sour growled.

Smallfoot slowly pulled her hand away from her wound, and Sour Sweet was sent back in shock when she saw the wound. There was skin torn off her face, but it wasn't even like real skin. The skin that tore off exposed a sliver of shiny metal underneath. And it was all around her eye, revealing her green eye as well, shiny metallic skin surrounding her orb.

"What the...", Sour gasped as she backed off from Smallfoot. "You... I... you're.... shiny... metal..."

"Wait, Sour, I can explain!"

"Dah! S-Smallfoot... is... is that you!?"

Smallfoot wanted to deny it, but at this point there was no denying. The evidence was all right in front of Sour and there was no way to lie now. It was time to come clean.

Smallfoot, filled with shame, lowered her head, "Yes. Its me."

Sour's left eye twitched as she tried to comprehend the situation.

"S.... I.... Wha...", Sour Sweet slapped her own face to wake herself up, "WHAT!?"

Smallfoot looked back at Sour with sadness and shame. She was found out, and she knew she wasn't going to come out of this situation okay.

"Okay, so let me get this straight; you posed as a human for my date!? How did you even do that!?"

Smallfoot whimpered as Sour yelled and she put a foot back.

"Um... well, Professor Von Joy kind of made me an upgrade. He made me a human form for me to split into so that I could see what it was like to live life like you girls. But the main reason he made me into... this, was because I wanted to ask you out on a date the only way I knew I could."

Sour's head slowly shook side to side as she listened to her story.

"Are you freaking kidding me? No seriously, are you FREAKING KIDDING ME!? What gave you the right to go and do... this!? You made yourself as a human just so you could ask me on a date!?"

Smallfoot whimpered as Sour continued to yell. She felt like a pack of tigers were forcing her against a corner, ready to pounce on her.

An even more disturbing thought came into her head. She revealed lots of personal information about herself to her too. Stuff she wouldn't even tell her own friends.

"I told you half of my secrets!"

"Actually, some of those weren't really secrets--", Smallfoot hesitated.

"I don't care! Were you trying to get all of my personal information out of me!? Is that why you did this... stupid... horrible... masquerade!? No, I want an answer right now! Why would you do something so stupid!? What if Steel Blade killed you!? What if our bosses found out about this!? And did you even think how I would feel!? Did that even cross your mind!? You can't just go into someone's personal life like this!"

Smallfoot felt tears welling up in her eyes and her lips began trembling. She felt herself getting closer to the breaking point.

"S-Sour..."

"NO! Why did you do this!? Why would you go to this much trouble just to get in my life!? What possible reason would you have for this!?"

"Because I love you!"

Author's Notes:

I'll admit, honestly the bits with Steel Blade aren't really weren't that pleasant to write, but in all honesty this was all I could think of, despite the fact he doesn't really have any character. But do not worry, we only have to suffer him one time and that's it. He won't be bothering us anymore.

And this chapter was a bit chaotic to say the least, but we're back on point.

We're getting close to the end of this fic, enjoy the drama. :raritydespair::rainbowwild::pinkiecrazy:
