That report got poor Misty socked with sparkle cola Luckily she hadn’t removed her helmet yet since she was just sitting down but her armor needed to be cleaned afterwards I did assist her in cleaning her armor as well as apologised. I even started to feel sorry for our dear friend Littlepip who just got embarrassed over live broadcast.

In hindsight at least she got some action with her special somepony. It also reminded me how alone I felt. Misty has been wearing her armor for the past day getting use to moving and even training in it physically I have caught her galloping down the track jumping and dodging obstacles placed on the track by Daisy to get her reaction times up. I have to say she has full range of motion in her armor now not to mention she has tackled her medical training with a fire in her that I envied. As for our Changeling personnel they are doing extremely well they took to the training right away we now have two full teams. Beta team under the command of a changeling mare nicknamed Peach. Never really did get there naming dynamics down Her disguise was that of a Pegasus Mare with Peach colored coat and a blonde mane and tail two others of her team also choose to use pegasi power armor one of the medical changelings went with the unicorn Steel Ranger Armors and was assigned to beta the last two also were in Steel Ranger Armor. Team building exercises were conducted to insure they could work well together.

It was on the evening of the second day when something unexpected happened.
I was sitting at the a table relaxing reading a report when the bases alarms went off I bolted out of my Seat and galloped for the CC Storm Wing also hot on my tail I rushed in. “REPORT!” I cried out.

Eva had a worried expression on her face. She hit a button and a Automated Distress signal began to play.

“…mated distress call from Stable-Tec Stable Two. Message begins:Littlepip, Velvet Remedy, if either of you can hear this… I pray you’re still alive, still out there to hear this. Please, if you… or if any friendly pony can hear this… Stable Two is under attack. We don’t know who they are or where they came from. But they have somehow opened the front door and they are killing everypony inside! I’ve evacuated all the survivors into the Security and Overmare’s wing. But now that we are cut off from the orchard, we are running out of food. The invaders seem content to wait us out. If you can hear this, please save us.”

I looked at Eva. “How long has this message been going?” I asked.

“From what we have determined ma’am 2 and a half hours It's maybe more we didn’t even get it until a moment ago didn’t even register I boosted the signal strength to just get that much.” Eva said fear in her eyes not of being punished but for the ponies of the stable.

Activating the base Intercom “ALPHA BETA TEAMS GEAR UP ALL PERSONNEL MAN YOUR STATIONS WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY SITUATION A DISTRESS SIGNAL HAS BEEN RECEIVED MEDICAL TEAMS AND ALL COMBAT PERSONNEL TO THE HANGAR FULL COMBAT GEAR LOAD OUT AP AMMUNITION AUTHORIZED.” I said sending all combat personnel into High alert. I turned back to Eva. “Continue to monitor the signal keep us apprised of anything no matter how insignificant it maybe regardless we are going to stable two even if we lose the signal I want to help these ponies.” I said getting a Salutes from all in the CC.

Over the intercom I ordered. “Prepare the Victory for launch all combat personnel load up. Sergeant Misty Sparks have your medical personnel outfitted for any medical emergency.” I said over the intercom. “You have the base Watch Commander.” I said getting a Salute and “Yes Ma’am Good Hunting.” Eva replied.

Storm and I rushed out of the CC To our quarters got into our armor and rushed back to the Hangar. The Victory was a hive of activity. The two sentinel droids we picked up from the warehouse were still on the ship. Storm and I got to the Bridge. “Status.” I barked out.

“All systems are green stealth system is green weapons primed.” The bridge watch officer reported.

“Victory to Control Open Hangar doors Victory is launching.” “Roger that Victory Come back safe and Good Hunting.” Eva replied.
“Launch and set course for Sweet Apple Acres PonyVille. All possible speed engage the stealth system.” I barked the orders were repeated as they were complied with the victory launched and was out in seconds. “All Systems green stealth system functioning at full capacity.” Came the report. “Storm You have the bridge.” I said getting a salute from Storm.

I went to the deck with all my ponies Misty was doing what she has to checking making sure she has all the supplies she would need Daisy was addressing the personnel advice on tactics that could be used by the enemy. “Gunny, Sergeant what's our readiness status?” I asked getting both Misty’s and Daisy’s attentions.

“As far as I can tell with all the hussle and bussle around here we are prepared on medical.” Misty replied.

“Team Beta is prepped and ready We are set Ma’am.” Daisy said.

“Do you think it’s the Steel Rangers Daisy.” I asked getting a nod.

“Most likely ma’am the rangers had stable tech Hq they would have the override codes for all the stable doors. But this move doesn’t make sense Why take stable two? I do not understand plus it’s not Fillydelphia’s jurisdiction to even operate out here its My former Elders job if stable two was to be assaulted it falls under his not Blueberry Sabers.” Daisy said.

“Ok just be ready for anything I hope we are not too late for the stable inhabitants.” I said getting nods of agreement from Daisy and Misty.

I returned to the bridge sat down. “ETA to Sweet Apple Acres?” I asked.

I turned to my communications officer. “Open communications through the same broadcast means that the distress call was coming from.” I said getting a conformation that I was live.

“Stable Tec Stable Two This Is General Cloud Striker of the Equestrian Special Forces Please respond I repeat this is General Cloud Striker of the Equestrian Special Forces Please respond on this frequency.” I said.

Coms officer perked up. “Getting a reply patching you in Ma’am.” She replied.

“Uh..Um hello?” came the voice from the Distress signal. “Thank Celestia and Luna what is your status Ma’am I am inbound with a two teams of personnel we received your distress signal and mobilised we should be there in under an hour but I need a status report.” I asked

Littlepip and her friends showed up and fought the invaders we have wounded and injured we have no clue what is going on Littlepip and Velvet are seeing to what we can provide we are short on medical supplies the fight to save us took quite a bit from what Remedy says.” The mare on the coms said.

“I take it your the Overmare of the stable?” I asked her.

“Yes. Yes I am.” She replied.

“I will wish to speak to you personally when we arrive I have Medical teams and supplies ready to assist your population.” I said.

“Thank You. Oh! Littlepip wants to say something.” The Overmare said.

“Cloud Striker is that you?” Littlepip’s voice came over the communications.

I couldn't help but giggle. “Easy Littlepip I’m inbound with reinforcements give me a rundown please I want to know what I’m going to be dealing with on arrival.” I said.

“Well we fought off the Rangers that Assaulted The stable.” Daisy came onto the bridge at that phrase and paused. “We got some unexpected back up from Gawds talons. Our steel ranger companion even attempted to end this peacefully But fought by our side we tried Diplomacy but it failed There was Mutiny within the steel rangers ranks. Steelhooves Is speaking with them All the rangers that abandoned the assault on the stable are following him there outcasts there is civil war going to be happening within the Rangers There Outcasts there assisting but also availing of stable two’s artist. Other than the death and damage done to stable two situation is settling down.” Littlepip Said.

“I see I will want to address this Steelhooves pony when I get there As well as any of the rangers present in the stable. I have medical teams and supplies we will secure the surrounding area and assist in repairs if needed I also will be leaving two Sentinels to protect the stable the will help keep stable two safe for the time being I will discuss things more when we arrive Do not be surprised when I come in with over a dozen ponies to help. You will be shocked though And I know one pony in particular will be shocked so will the rangers.” I said with a short laugh.

“Attention Stand down combat ready status Secure all weapons situation has been resolved Medical teams stand by combat teams stand by. Arrival in Fifteen minutes.” I said.

Ship returned to normal operation.

“Victory to Base come in.” I said.

“Status Resolved Stable Two Secured for the time being. Contact was established there shaken up but alright they lost ponies though Prep additional medical supplies to be shipped out to Stable Two. within a few days.” I said.

“Thank goodness. And copy that ma’am.” Eva replied.

“We will be returning to base as soon as we further asses the situation at the stable.” I said.

“Solid copy Ma’am Base out.” Eva said.

“Were on Final approach ma’am should we drop stealth?” helm asked.

“Why Not Disengage the Stealth array. Take us down helm.” I said.

I could see Calamity and Littlepip turning what looks like a sky bandit over Calamity Froze at the sight of the Victory baring down on them. We touched down Calamity was in a combat stance even Littlepip and a few rangers assisting were ready for combat.

“Secure from landing All personnel except designated Ponies prepared for departure.” I said over the intercom.

I looked at the bridge crew. “Remain at your posts.” I said getting Salutes from them all.

Storm Wing Daisy Misty and I left the bridge and heading for the bay the rest of our personnel were there In armor ready to go. I activated the doors. Activated Speaker in my helmet “Really Littlepip you would shoot a friend who comes to help?” I asked before the door even fully opens

Littlepip relaxes so does Calamity and then the rangers then they pause as they get a look at my personnel.

“Cloud Striker you trying to give us a heart attack?” She asked.

I laughed at that. “No but I’m sure a certain assitant would more than likely help you feel alive.” I said not able to resist teasing her as expected Littlepip’s Face went crimson red in seconds flat and she squeaked. “Enough is enough Striker. “Alright alright I won’t tease Littlepip sorry Littlepip as for the Raptor Fillydelphia MAW warehouse. And subsequent forces I was checking out a lead on equipment gained 3 recruits lost 2 in Filly due to a ranger ambush made it to the location boy did we find something alright 19 stasis pods like the ones myself and Storm were in occupied. We revived them and there members of my team and crew not to mention the equipment we were originally going there for.” I said.

“So you j st found a raptor at a Warehouse I call Horseapples.” Calamity said.

I hit play on my pipbuck replaying the message from the hangar.

His eyes widen. And I smiled “Yes Calamity I have two fully operational Raptor assault ships. At my disposal and enough personnel to operate them. I set course here the moment I got the Distress call. That entire time I talked to you and the Overmare Littlepip I was flying at flank speeds pushing her engines to get here. I am here to assist.” I said “FALL IN.” I barked out

Beta Team Marched down the Ramp and stood at attention beside me Alpha team stood at attention in front of me. “Alright Listen up Beta team Secure the Perimeter Alpha team your with me as normal Sergeant Misty Sparks Assemble your medical teams I want them ready to assist the civilians. Gunny You are with me We will speak with this Steelhooves and if He is the pony I think he is then I will be demanding a report from him. Move It ponies.” I said.

Misty hung back with us her medical ponies were doing there jobs the rangers just stared at the Steel Ranger Clad unicorn at my side and the ones that are standing behind Misty.

I walked up to Littlepip Took my helmet off and Pulled her into a hug one that was full of emotion, “Thank Celestia you're alright Littlepip I was glad to hear from you even if it was over the radio and that you are still doing good bless your heart Littlepip bringing hope to Filly Had I known you were there I would have assisted you and helped you help so many more ponies I had two fully functional damn warships on my side but I didn’t know you were there So I wasn’t in a position to offer assistance. But when I heard that I went into combat alert and set coarse hear to help I knew if you heard it you would be too you beat me here Littlepip. I’m glad the stable is safe now I’ll even leave some Security behind if the overmare allows it.” I said.

“How I am here is not the question Sergeant the question is why I shouldn't have every ranger in this Stable executed for capital crimes against the ponies we are sworn to protect.” I Said Slamming my hoof on the floor so hard that a deck plate popped off

Rangers are no more the order has fallen There nothing more than raiders in Magicly power Power Armors that would kill a population of a stable just to have the technology within it or a base of operations.” I said.

I will not Dishonor their memory. By failing to protect All that I can.” I said.

I can not crack now.” I said Storm Pulled me into a hug Daisy joined in Misty who came to deliver a report joined in as well Moon Lily also joined the hug.

“Well we have only minor injuries caused by panic others eh not sure. Velvet has requisitioned our medical supplies to restock the stables clinic a little. They have gone through a lot Ma’am they lost a good portion of their staff. From what I can get there scared Ma’am.” Misty said.

I nodded as I put my helmet back on. “Littlepip can you please escort me so I can speak with the Overmare I know this is not an easy time but I need to see what she plans on doing.” I said. Getting a nod from Littlepip.

Littlepip leads the way along the way Velvet walks up and snuggles up to Calamity I couldn’t help but Smile.
Velvet didn’t look so good. “Misty.” I said. Everypony stopped As I whispered into Misty’s Ear She nodded. “Calamity?” I asked looking at him he cocked an eyebrow at me. “Please escort Velvet to the Clinic and Velvet You will not escape medical treatment you are too important to the ponies you travel with Especially that buck you're snuggling.” I said getting Littlepip Calamity to laugh And Velvet to huff. “My Doctor has orders to restrain you by force if necessary. So do go peacefully.” I said.

“But but I’m fine.” Velvet said.

Misty’s horn was glowing as she scans Velvet Remedy. “Fine you say You have lost a lot of blood and If you do not take it easy I will confine you to a bed strapped down. With Two Armored Guards making sure you stay there matter of fact. Misty’s horn lit up and hit her with the anesthetic spell. “Calamity can carry you there since you seem to enjoy snuggling him trying to keep on your hoofs. Instead of Resting like you should be.” Misty said Levitating a now unable to move Velvet Remedy onto Calamity’s back. “Please take her to the clinic Calamity and keep her there until I have made sure she gets the medical attention she deserves.” Misty said getting ya got it as he trotted off.

“About time she has the same treatment done for her.” Littlepip said.

I pulled Littlepip to the side. “How you holding up?” I asked

“As well as can be expected I have never been so angry in my life my mother survived and I was happy and glad she did but like always she was drunk didn’t even recognize me. It’s so hard to see this place spoiled like this its going to take time for them to recover This may have been the place I was born in but I have no place here anymore. I’m not the same filly That lived here. The wasteland has changed me I no not if it is for the better but It has.” She said.

I looked around then looked At the Unicorn. Clearing my throat. “I assume your the overmare of this stable?” I asked her getting a nod.
I pulled My helmet off as did Storm Wing. “I am General Cloud Striker this Is my Second in command Captain Storm Wing we spoke a while ago Currently My Medical personnel are assisting the injured I have a Special Forces team Securing the Area around Stable Two. I have an additional group ready to assist should the need arise.” I said getting the eyebrow to raise from the griffon.

“What the buck is an enclave pony doing here.” She asked dropping into combat stance.

I Face Hoofed. “Enclave am I?” I asked her.

“Huh?” She said.

“Like I said earlier I am General Cloud Striker of the Equestrian Special Forces. I am here answering a Distress Signal sent by this Stable. If I was enclave I would not be here I have a duty to the Equestrian people. Gawd knows of me I have met her I have showed her everything I have even gave medical aid to the ponies under her care by providing medical supplies while I was escorting a caravan to Tenpony Tower. Now that I have More personnel I am able to assist even more. I scrambled my ponies the instant I heard the distress signal we double timed it here to be of assistance. Looks like you got the help you needed in your time of need and I’m grateful for that You assistance will not go unrewarded.” I said

I pushed my team and Equipment hard to get here as quickly as I could.

“I pushed the Victory’s Engines to get here I have somepony checking on them making sure I didn’t push them too hard I would hate to have to call for the Avenger to come out with parts to fix the engines.” I said.

How do we stop somepony who has such allies. I think we will need to hire Gawd Blackwing and a bunch of others just to get the personnel to bring all our assets online. And as much as I do not like it might have to bring Steelhooves Rangers in too Even though I do not trust them. “That is too risky it would take them months just to be able to get one in believable to not raise suspicion.” I paused to look at the bridge staff. “Question how long would you need to get an understanding of a pony to infiltrate without raising suspicion?” I asked one of the changeling crew members.

“Well it all depends on how well known the subject in question to be copped is to the others. Plus we would need to be able to study the subject in question to get a few of how they react to things so the changeling in question can handle and avoid arousing suspicion. That can take months Ma’am if not longer depends on the complexity of the individuals. Plus you would want to have it be somepony that has access to the area’s in question.” She replied.

“So more time then we have. Damn it why do i have a Bad feeling about this If it is true that New Appleloosa is in Red Eye’s saddle bags then he already knows about us. Or at least has been made aware that there are Military Officers out here hell bent on helping the Wasteland.” I said sighing.

All personnel effective immediately are to be in armor at all times while on duty. Helmets are to be accessible but not required while at base out in the field that is a different story unless dealing with business with traders or merchants are to be at full combat readiness. Fortifications are to be set up around the hangar in case of assault from the hangar. All senior staff and officers report to the briefing room. That is All.” I said in my address to the base.

We departed from the bridge and the ship 4 minutes later were in the briefing room along with the rest of the senior staff including Eva. I returned the Salutes that were thrown up at my entrance.
“At ease have a seat. We have somethings to discuss already talked about this with my team but need Idea’s. We are setting up the Avenger and Victory as trade outposts for the base that way we can get the supplies of this base out there which is needed. It also may be wise to alert the wasteland of our existence. Not the base of course but the fact that we are here for everypony out there. To that effect I will not right this moment be doing a Live broadcast with Dj Pon3. Announcing us to the wastelands we need to recruit but how can we do so with nopony aware of us. To that I will be making a trip to Tenpony Tower. After discussing things with Ditzy Doo and finding out the full extent of New Appleloosa’s Involvement with Red Eye. I need suggestions ponies. Suggestions on how we should implement security for our crews and staff as well as protecting the base should this base fall. Equestria will have a harder time recovering.” I said.

“Well setting up some form of passphrase for entering base would be a good idea. We also have to be able to defend the ships against Enclave personnel from what I understand they think any that was made by Pegasi belong to the pegasi. So we will have to worry about Pegasi attempting to Assault our ships To capture them or to steal them.” Storm said.

I looked at her nodding. “ You bring up a good point we have no clue of the status of the Enclave military training or how effective they will be so for the time being just set up the ships for trading we will figure out how to adequately protect our equipment and personnel. Hopefully recruiting will solve our personnel issues screening will need to be done. We can not just allow anypony into the base potential recruits must be able to at least be willing to protect others If we can acquire assistance and support from Pre established settlements Like Tenpony Tower Friendship city and there like. We might be able to pull things off but we do have to get word out of our group. That way ponies know we are not enemies but friends willing to assist each and every team we send out will have some supplies for trade as well as caps to buy things required.” I said.

“How will we implement security measures? Not to mention how will we be protecting our ships and personnel from the Enclave?” Misty asked.

“Another good point. Standing orders will included means of ID’ing threats as well as friend Standard color of the Pegasi armor was black should any armored black clad pegasi approach any of our ponies or anypony for that matter there Enclave unless giving the clearance message. All ponies are to Identify themselves even Pegasi I will also insist even our personnel approaching In our armors.That way anypony that doesn’t give the phrase code can be dealt with. Accordingly. No exceptions.” I said.

Misty Nodded to that. “That is a good way to keep our ponies safe but would that be worth it. We will need to come up with phrases that would mean one thing to other ponies but mean something else entirely for clearance without getting an assaulted on approach.” Misty replied.

“Well ships returning to base would be required to report their condition and status so we know where to have them set down if they need repairs or maintenance. For example All systems green. That could mean no warning lights are up but should hostile takeover happen reporting status green indicates the ship is operational adding things like We have a warning light on engine output could indicate repairs are needed but to the base could mean we have been boarded and need assistance upon arrival. Conditions like Yellow or Red could mean ship needs minor repair to major repairs code phrase all systems green means all's well anything after that means something is up. All this needs to be set up. Easy to remember for the operation of this base. All key personnel like are communications officers are to know the phrase any patrols will be given a pass phrase before departure. Otherwise if everypony knows the passphrase to enter the base and somepony who knows it sells us out we will not be on alert or prepared until it is too late to react. Hence the standing order for all personnel to be in armor with helmets accessible and at the ready. Command Center personnel will be expected to monitor activity around the base.” I said Looking at Eva who nodded.

“This is why I have called you all in here to discuss this we need to have a operational plan in effect before we can even truly have the ships leave the base or have recruits come in. You are my senior staff. Eva’s our rep for the changeling population of this base as well as our head intel officer since she’s dealing with most if not all intel we gather. Placing what needs to be seen by me as priority.” I added.

“I need suggestions people. Recruiting is a must We are understaffed that is one reason for revealing ourselves to the wasteland so they know that the Military is here to help. We have two effective teams Alpha and Beta teams that can go out and help I want to see more. We need to bring up recruitment. We have three medical personnel in training Misty is nearly qualified for Field Doctor. Studying like mad to pass the qualifications exam to be certified.” I said smiling at Misty. “As such she’s chief medical officer for the entire base. Daisy is head of the Armory. As such she and only a few selected personnel are allowed in the actual armory. Not just the bay. Storm and I are the only ones besides Moon Lily who has Armory access Moon Lily is Daisy’s assistant. Eva has CC access and is watch commander for the base as well as Head of our intelligence department. I’m in over all command of the base Storm Wing is my second In command. So right now the Senior officers for this base are as follows. Myself, Storm, Daisy, Misty, Eva. Each one of you has ponies under your charge as Department heads. Daisy would pretty much be head of Security for the base. Misty is head of Medical/hydroponics considering her talent lies in Hydroponics and medical. I had a feeling it would be that way Misty when you showed me your Cutie Mark, but there is more going on than what we do know I want to try and crack Red Eyes network we need intel as much as anything.” I said pausing taking a drink while looking around at my staff.

“This is not going to be easy people. Security is top priority we need something in place for outgoing and incoming ships. Or outgoing and Incoming Teams regardless. As such we will need to have somepony appointed Captain of the Avenger or Victory. Then we need to assign crew or crews. The dragon killer raptor Is under Storms command She has proven herself an able commander in the past her promotion to Captain proves that. I will of course Not split our team up I’ll have Overall command should I be onboard. I have hope that we can get her out there but that again hinges on recruiting people I do not intend to discriminate My acceptance of Eva and her kind is proof of this.” again I pause drinking taking a deep breath I continue,

“I hope everypony or everybody we have recruited to at least get a crash course in combat training some more so than others. As for the raptors training crews for them will need to be done over time Eva’s ponies were set as the crew’s for the Avenger and Victory originally so Eva will be able to assign her people to train others for the posts of ship crews. We are not just looking for team recruits either we need bodies to fill out the Hydroponics maintenance and other key facilities within this base. At the moment that’s all done by automated personnel droids. We need to train and teach. Teachers education personnel that we can send out to teach everypony and all the other people of Equestria. We have a vast undertaking here with us being understaffed at this moment its hard to think what needs to be done. So suggestions are welcomed.” I said.

“I agree with you CJ we need to get word out there of our group The Steel Ranger outcasts are currently a neutral party. We have the Enclave then we have Whoever runs Tenpony Tower. We got Red Eye and his band of Slavers, We have this Goddess character who controls the Alicorns and is Allied with Red Eye. Then we have the Steel Ranger Elders. The only thing I can think of somepony being able to Hire merc’s with high amount of caps would be what ever organization is in charge of Tenpony otherwise I would be at a loss of who had the means and the caps to put such a high payment out for our equipment.” Storm said.

“I think you're right about that Tenpony Tower was the MAS hub would have had High ranking officials of the MAS there Plus there are parts of the tower that can not be accessed unless Authorized to due to shields that it has Shields like what protects the Central SPP hub Only 3 ponies in all of equestria had access to that hub that was Rainbow Dash Princesses Celestia and Luna. No other pony had access not even me but I have the command codes to access all the systems of the SPP if need be.” I said as I raised my Pipbuck. “Rainbow Dash thought of things but never gave me full access to the SPP central tower. I just hope there is somepony out there that could access that hub that way the true purpose of the SPP can be utilized. It is a scary prospect that we have. I have a feeling that This Enclave has not kept the entirety of the Pegasi people informed of what is going on down here. They probably do not want to Lose all the power they hold over the populous. I’m sure if they were somehow made aware we would have more pegasi down here helping. Eva I want you to send one of your people undercover to a pegasus city to find out what they can history literature propaganda that sort of thing and quietly see if they can get some pegasi down below the cloud cover I am sure they monitor that cloud cover so infiltration will or could be difficult.” I said turning to Eva.

“No Ma’am. Only that there was a report about the encounter. Last I heard they were going to possibly sending a team to investigate further if things escalate. That is all that was on that matter that of course was in the back Log data we went through no further information has been attained on the subject.” Eva said.

“As for other information I have had all available personnel going through data this distress call now the fortifications we are to put up and prepping the Avenger and Victory as mobil trade outposts will take some of that personnel I agree sending out Recruitment announcements would be advisable and we do have means to make sure they have no way of knowing where the base is you can bring them under sleep or by the ships. They then would be monitored and after a time would be given more responsibility or access to additional area’s training would be necessary we could even make a makeshift barracks cutting off sections of the base to non essential personnel or people under training will have Limited access. Mess hall and other locations like that would they would have access we could keep everything monitored posting guards at accesses to critical or important points.” Eva said.

“That is a good idea Eva as you are aware the base allows access by the clearance of the Pipbuck tags authorized to enter all doors respond to tag authorization if a tag is not cleared to be in that area it will not allow access.” I said. “Although not everybody will have a pipbuck we are limited in how many there are. I would say we should try and find some more our stable tec section of the base does have the schematics for the 3000 series pipbuck or it should have. We got these because they are military issued pipbucks civilian models I have no clue if we even have them here. We have work stations for stable tec pipbuck tec stall here in this base due to the fact that It is in deed a stable Plus everything we have to manufacture and fabricate we might be able to do something about it Storm after we are done with this meeting I want you to go to through the Stable tec storage see if there are pipbucks there Considering this is a stable Applebloom may have put some in the storage along with other things. All residents of the Stables were to have pipbucks according to the operational guidelines of stable tec To assist the residents in survival out in Equestria after they leave the stables.” I added getting a nod from Storm.

“You would be correct General. Stable residents were to receive pipbucks upon entrance to the stables so each and everyone could find there way around the stable as well as what you mentioned to assist them after leaving the stable when it was safe.” Eva put in.

“If we have civilian model pipbucks we could give non combatants like Hydroponic or gardeners Manufacturing personnel those pipbucks they would have access primarily to the Mess Hall residential and there line of work level All other levels would be restricted access unless they join the actual combat training courses to become a guard or base personnel.” Daisy said.

“We should make sure they have access to the Clinic and medical wings of the base.” Misty added.

“That will all be a given.” I said calming Misty down.

“Sorry Misty didn’t mean to cut medical out of the list of access.” Daisy said.

“There is a lot we need to do to really be able to effectively help Equestria Trade outpost ships are one way to get goods out convoys/caravans are another. Recruiting would be the best thing we can ask for right now. I will of course accept any and all suggestions on how to implement supply runs to needed locations Tenpony Tower currently is under blockade according to reports so. For our trip by that meaning Team alpha we will be packing the supply wagon with medical and food stuffs. Might want to consider additional ammunition for the new constable as a peace offering I am not sure the what they currently use for their defence weapons maybe I could ask Dj Pon3 what would be the best to bring in supplies but I know Food and Medical supplies would be top priority in this case there barricaded inside and from what I understand the entrance to Tenpony may have been taken by Red Eyes people.” I said.

“Why not bring a cachey of weapons and ammunition we have over 1000 weapons currently in the Armory I can get a few of the assault carbines and other such weapons say 200 total with enough ammunition to supply a small army for a month.” Daisy said.

“Hmm. That might be beneficial in the Long run. Plus just thinking outloud here we could deploy Beta to Tenpony Tower. As added security. We need to show that we are willing to help them. I will not let the ponies of Tenpony down Should Red Eye attempt to take the tower Security would have a hard time facing them Alone.” I said.

“The Doctor at Tenpony is nice so is his assistant Life Bloom. He helped me learn my first medical spells. I got them from Life Bloom who sold me them well the teaching of how to cast them that is. I would like to offer aid to the few doctors there but with my staff of 4 ponies that Includes Myself and Beta’s medic We need a medical personnel here at the base on station. I would like to get another Medic or doctor for the Victory Avenger and our other raptor speaking of which what is its name I do not think we were ever told.” Misty asked.

“That's because it has no name. Normally we would christen the ship on launch with her name and designation. Since she has never been launched she was never given a designation. Or name.” I said as I look at the table. “Hmm. we should come up with a designation for her. Eva in your spare time think of something that would be appropriate for the Dragon Killer Stealth Raptor. Something to inspire hope and Strike fear in our foes.” I said getting a Nod from Eva.

“Why not Hope’s Vengeance or Vengeance?” She asked.

“Hmm. Vengeance sounds good we have Victory Avenger why not Vengeances.”

“Well it is a good name Cj the Vengeance it is.” Storm said.

“Alright that is taken care of but she still has no crew she takes a lot more to operate. Then our smaller raptors So for the time being she’s on stand bye. Alpha team will be assigned to the Vengeance in any case. Should she be used Mainly because we are the main team of this base Beta will be assigned to the Victory or Avenger whenever there out considering they were part of the crew for them in the first place. Eva I want standing orders to be posted as well all personnel should be in there armors ready and able to repel an assault should the base come under an attack. Even you Eva are to be in armor. This is to protect the base when we get non combat personnel we they will not be in armor but all combat personnel should be in armor with helmets at the ready. If you have yet to be assigned armor Eva report to the Armory bay after this meeting is adjourned with any personnel not assigned to armor.” I said getting a nod from Eva.

“Daisy assist any personnel not assigned armor with getting there armor. This will be done what they feel most comfortable as since we limiting Unicorn Power Armors as medical personnel that would mean Either there earth or pegasus disguised. Unless they wish to not have the power armor that we have.” I said getting a nod from Daisy.

“Do note ma’am while at base it would be nice to be able to relax the use of magic to not be in disguise all the time. Unless we have guests it may not take a lot to maintain a disguise but it still drains one’s mana pool to maintain we can still wear our armors even in our undisguised form until we have to assume one conserving our strength is important puts less drain on our reserves of love or emotions.” Eva said.

I do not want to tax your supply any more then need to come up with some form of signal or alert for the base to activate disguises any changeling that leaves the base is to be in disguise no exceptions though Beta team is comprised of changelings after all there our only other confirmed team.”

“Any other things needing to be discussed at this time?” I asked Looking around the room at my staff.

“Very well we will meet again to hear suggestions in the morning Think of idea’s that would allow us to implement the Victory and Avenger. As trade outposts without compromising the security of the base or the ships themselves. I would not want to lose a single one of them or their crews but risks must be taken at times to succeed in missions at times I may not like it but it has to be done. “We are finishing outfitting base personnel with their chosen armors ma’am So far we have had 8 personnel come through and it looks like we have 4 more Steel Ranger armor has been assigned as well as Pegasi armors 2 more made choices to go into Medical field and are being handled by Misty. They wished to be in powered armor and were unicorns preferred disguise over the other two.” I heard her say as Eva entered. “We do tend to pick our preferences for disguises ma’am. I prefer being a pegasus myself but have done others when it is needed.”

“Well that makes this easy we have a few set up that way Like the Captains we even have some of the Steel Ranger armored choosing energy weapons for there armors as well not a lot of them mind you we just have what we got on hoof.” Daisy said.

“Get as many ponies you need Storm I want that Vault checked We should've known that Applebloom would do something like this but we had so much to do before hoof I’m sure there were manuals and such for training ponies in how to make repair and such.” I said. And have multiple offspring each pregnancy. No unauthorized personnel are to enter the Victory Avenger or the Vengeance. No exceptions. While acting as a trade open for business this is the only time the ship is open to unauthorized personnel and only in the ship’s hangar where the deals will be made. Guards will be posted at all exits to the ship’s bay going to the rest of the ship. Also I was thinking about it while making my rounds I think we should put a security check point near the entrance to the bay on both ships do a simular thing that Tenpony Tower does have all ammunition being turned in while onboard anybody doing business on the ships will have to disarm weapons will not have to be turned in but ammunition will. Then we will head for Manehattan to speak with Dj Pon3 we will get word out about us and that we are setting up new trade outposts I would like to have a recruitment station onboard both ships. We will also stop and talk with Gawd along the way.” I said.

Plus it would be good for Everypony here to do some training exercises with there armors to be better familiar with them in combat and I do mean everypony Included you Eva or do I address you as Evening Sky while you're in pegasus form?” Storm asked.

“Evening Sky is my Pegasi name yes and since I have chosen to be Pegasus pony while in armor it would be appropriate.” Eva said.

“Very well Evening.”

“How long would you need to effectively breed up enough changelings to completely crew Say the Victory or Avenger? I am asking because You are one of our back ups for personnel I want to be able to Fulfil the mission assigned to us by the Princesses plus it would be nice being able to send some changeling infiltrators out to gather intel from places it would be hard for me or Storm to gain entrance to. Like the Enclave.” I said.

“Well Cj I would need to locate a Stallion seduce them. Multiple times to properly breed me fully. Then I could pass the first off to multiple changeling mares to carry to term while I am bred again the five here in the room would work well for that first need If they are willing I do not force my brood to be carriers of my offspring. If they agree I could start Immediately. There is two ways I can do this. One I go out find a stallion get him to mount me until im therally bred come back transfer to the willing mares then head back out to do again. Two bring a willing stallion in for the sole purpose of breeding me. This could cause problems over time. Reason is I end up feeding off my mates each time it’s an automatic reaction to the love being displayed during the act of lovemaking or breeding it is after all the best way to acquire love quickly should the hive is in danger. I learned that very quickly after when I became queen to five abandoned changelings they didn’t survive long after we were picked up by MAW all you see are the results of my hard work feeding them they gladly accepted the offspring that was the result of me getting the love to keep them alive. Not one of them was a infiltrator or collector they were drones and solder class. But all of them accepted the new changelings to be born. If I can find a stallion willing to come with me for the purpose of breeding me and I had at least 5 mares of my kin I that will do accept the results of me breeding again. I could have at least 20 more changelings within 3 months ready to serve. One month gestation 2 months to mature that would give you enough to fully crew the Avenger and Victory to combat worthiness. In six months I could have enough to provide a skeletal crew for the Vengeance. Unless I keep being bred one each of the changeling mares have the new changelings inside them I get bred again fill another group willing and even carry myself problem with that I have yet felt the urge to bring an heir into the world each Queen knows when it is time Myself I can only carry one and I’ll have an heir who will assume my throne after I am gone I have time yet for that other then that I will have multiple foals through my brood. It’s just how it is I will carry my Heir and will train her teach her how to be a good queen Queens that are born are different from queens that become queens from a lower classification I myself am not as tall as a born queen but I am a queen will be recognized as such from by another queen. I have no clue if other changelings have survived but I have to believe that there are changelings out there.” Eva said.

“Will it be hard for you to perform your duties while with foal for the time they carry or if you decide to?” I asked.

“No Ma’am it is different from a normal pregnancy I will just need a place to that would be comfortable and able to channel the love from one of the heartstones to help the changelings to Mature we will have to of course give them a quick crash course in everything to kick their memory in. We have genetic memory so of sorts upon their birth I’ll be designating their role in the hive by what I see and feel from each once that is done they all know I’m there Queen and mother in a sinse. They will also know how to disguise themselves feed off love and such but other then that we teach them they're quick learners in about 2 weeks after they’re born they will be ready to be posted wherever you wish to place them oh before I forget please address me by my disguised name while in public in private it’s fine to address me as who I am.” Eva replied I nodded in agreement. “Very well Evening Sky. Look and see if you can locate a potential or potentials catches so to speak for you to begin breeding. One way or another We will get personnel to fill needed positions and have some to do their Designated duties If you have to send one of your mares out to find some that you could tolerate.” I said getting a nod.

“Carry on Evening Sky keep us updated on how everythings going. Storm and I are going to Retire early tonight to be well rested tomorrow for a long day of getting things organized for our trip out in the wastes.” I said lightly brushing a wingtip along storms side.

Storm blushed when she felt my wing brush hers. “Yes I think it would be best to turn in early so we can do so. I also believe it would be best advised that we depart Two days from now that way we can have one of the ships outfitted correctly for a trade and recruitment ship.”

“Oh I agree with that Storm Make it so Evening Sky that all supplies be deposited that is going for said trip is placed in the Tortoise and supply wagon.” I said getting a salute from Eva. “Oh and unless it’s a Celestia tier alert do not disturb us.” Again getting a salute from Evening Sky.

I trotted of with Storm following me. I could just feel her eyes on my flanks I couldn’t help but giggle and flick my tail into her muzzle when nopony was around to see. As we left for my quarters.
